Reviving Faith: The Dynamic Legacy of HKBP Resort Balige Church

HKBP is one of the largest congregations in the world and has even spread to America and Europe. HKBP in Indonesia is a Christian Church based in Tanah Batak, namely in Tarutung City, North Tapanuli, North Sumatra Province. The main focus of this research is the history of the HKBP Resort Balige church. This research uses a historical research method which has four stages, namely stages heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The research results show that the history and development of the HKBP Ressort Balige Church began with the arrival of Christian missionaries to Batak Land, then built the HKBP church, which was consecrated as the HKBP Balige church by Ompu Ephorus Pdt. I.L. Nommensen. In its development, the HKBP Balige church developed well; this was marked by the social charities around the church, such as hospitals, Schools, universities and a Multi-Purpose Building which functioned as a public service to the surrounding community. The role of the HKBP Church in the social life of the Balige community as a fellowship of believers always requires order and order in the implementation of services. This can be proven by your willingness to be selected as an Elder, Deacon, or Servant on the Development Commission or on the Committee of an activity.

Application of the Least Cost Analysis Method to Determine the Optimal Cost and Duration for Delayed Projects

The construction project of the Polresta Denpasar Multi-Purpose Building experienced delays due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday, resulting in a 9.35% setback, equivalent to 19 days. In the 20th week, the planned progress was 66.52%, but actual progress was only 57.17%. With 76 days remaining for the project's completion, the least cost analysis method was applied to find the optimal cost and time for completing the remaining work by increasing the workforce. This approach aims to ensure the project is completed on time and the contractor avoids penalties. The penalty is 1/1000 (1 ‰) of the contract value. The analysis used primary data such as interviews and project observations, and secondary data including contractor unit price analysis, budget plans (RAB), and S-curves. The data was analyzed from the remaining project work, crashing duration, to finding the cost slope for each task, and then using the least cost analysis method to determine the optimal cost and time. The analysis results showed that the optimized project cost after acceleration was Rp 3,077,713,130.90, with the project duration reduced from 76 days to 57 days, accelerated by 19 days. This acceleration saved costs by Rp 18,428,493.93. By applying this method, the project is expected to be completed faster without compromising quality, and the contractor can avoid delay penalties. This approach helps in time efficiency and budget management, ensuring all resources are used optimally and the project is completed on target.

Counseling on The Importance of Maintaining Women's Reproductive Health

Maintaining women's reproductive health behavior is something that is very important for every woman from childhood, adolescence, to adulthood. This is because the female reproductive organs are organs that function as a place for menstrual blood to exit, a place for fetal development and sexual intercourse. Many reproductive health problems can arise from not maintaining women's reproductive health, one of which is cervical cancer. Therefore, the author conducted counseling on the importance of maintaining women's reproductive health to PKK mothers in Pasar VI Kualanamu Village with the aim of increasing the knowledge of PKK mothers about the importance of maintaining women's reproductive health, so that later the information conveyed is expected to have a positive impact on the village about maintaining women's reproductive health, where it is known that PKK mothers are organizations that work directly with residents, especially women in the village. During the counseling, the method used was the lecture method. With 28 counseling participants. Counseling was carried out in several stages, including the activity process stage and the evaluation stage. This counseling activity was carried out on May 8, 2024 at the multipurpose building of Pasar 6 Kualanamu Village, Beringin District. From the results obtained, it is known that the percentage value of achievement in the final questionnaire of participants after counseling is mostly in the high to moderate range classification. From these data, it shows that the counseling carried out in Pasar 6 Kualanamu Village was able to increase the knowledge of counseling participants consisting of PKK mothers, with this it is hoped that the information conveyed will have a positive impact on the village about maintaining women's reproductive health, where it is known that PKK mothers are an organization that works directly with residents, especially women in the village.

Kegiatan Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) Balita dan Lansia Di Desa Karang Indah

Lack of public awareness of the importance of health by living a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, posyandu cadres in Karang Indah village can build public awareness about the importance of health and strengthen the Karang Indah village community by making it easier for people to access health services. This article describes the posyandu activities in Karang Indah Village and the various obstacles posyandu officers face in Karang Indah Village. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The instrument for this research is the researcher, who creates observation and interview guidelines and determines sources. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results specifically explain that the posyandu program consists of primary activities, which include Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning, Preventing Polio in Children with immunizations, Monitoring Nutritional Status, and Prevention and Management of Diarrhea. The Posyandu for toddlers consists of several activities as follows: Filling out the attendance list for toddlers, measuring the weight and height of toddlers, immunizations and providing vitamins for toddlers, while the activities of the Elderly Posyandu consist of Weighing older people, checking the elderly's blood pressure, exercising the elderly's memory, and exercising for the elderly. The problem faced by Posyandu officers is the lack of facilities, which are still in a multi-purpose building in Karang Indah Village.

Scenarios for replacement of electric resistive space heating by a geothermal heat pump - Environmental amortization

Geothermal energy has become of increasing scientific and industrial interest; hence, many works discuss and study its principles, uses, and technical/economic viability. However, much less research focuses on the environmental impact of geothermal energy projects.In this research, we perform a life cycle assessment of five different geothermal heat pump systems (GHPS) installed across five different facilities: three single-family detached houses (heating capacity of GHPS: 10 kW, 15 kW, and 45 kWh, respectively), a multipurpose building (heating capacity of GHPS: 110 kW), and a residential area of semi-detached houses (heating capacity of GHPS: 210 kW).The overall results demonstrate that the higher the heating capacity of a GHPS, the greater the environmental impact. Such results allow us to establish correlations between GHPS heating capacity and environmental impact across the 11 environmental impact categories.Amortization periods were calculated with respect to the annual demand for heating and cooling of each facility. In the 10 kW and 15 kW GHPS, the amortization period is shorter than 11 years, followed by an eight-year period for the 45 kW GHPS. Similarly, the amortization period for the 210 kW GHPS decreases up to five years. Conversely, the 110 kW GHPS has an 18-year amortization period.

Demand side management optimization and energy labeling of multi-purpose buildings

A multi-purpose building with different applications such as residential, office, cultural, restaurant, parking, etc. is analyzed in this research. The facilities in many multi-purpose buildings in developing countries are considered having old energy systems with high energy consumption. Application for national energy labeling require optimizing the energy consumption. However, many such buildings in Iran are not awarded the above-mentioned label. The present study aims to assess a multi-purpose building which is not able to get standard energy label with existing situation. To reduce energy consumption in such buildings, solutions such as applying phase-change materials (PCM) in exterior walls, installation of photovoltaics (PV), employing building energy management system (BEMS), and switching the central system to gas engine-driven heat pump (GEHP) were analyzed. The reduction of energy consumption due to PCM, PV, BEMS, and GEHP solutions were 2, 6, 23, and 63%, respectively. The use of PCM, PV, and BEMS failed to enabling the building to receive energy label. Instead, the E category energy label was received only by switching the central heating system to the GEHP system. The payback period for switching the facilities to GEHP system lasted 7.5 years. This method of energy labeling can be used for all of the past multi-purpose Buildings.

Pelatihan Pemasaran Online Melalui Foto Produk Dan Copywriting Di Desa Tomplakan Tuntang Kabupaten Semarang

Online marketing training for the community of Tomplakan Village, Tuntang Subdistrict, Semarang Regency in the hope of increasing competence, knowledge in online marketing can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the Tomplakan Tuntang Village community. The participants were very enthusiastic and interactive in practicing product photos, how to market products to social media using copywriting techniques. The activity was conducted offline at the multipurpose building of Tomplakan Village Hall, Tuntang Sub-district, Semarang Regency. The targets in this training consisted of PKK elements, community leaders, ginger farmers and teenagers totaling 40 people. It is hoped that from the training practices and assistance of community service activities that the community will have the ability in the field of online marketing according to current technological developments.

Simulation model calibration for a multi-purpose building on an hourly basis

When developing digital twins for buildings, the calibration of simulation models on an hourly basis is essential to maintain the fidelity of the virtual representation and to enable real-time monitoring and analysis in the operational phase. Achieving such a high accuracy in building performance simulations (BPS) calls for novel calibration strategies with enhanced effectiveness. In this regard, this paper outlines a calibration strategy that makes use of hourly measurements to improve the fidelity of energy simulation models. The proposed approach includes a hierarchical structure involving data acquisition and management, setting unknown weather parameters, sensitivity analysis, calibration of fixed parameters, and hourly calibration of dynamic variables. Here, acquired data from the building’s sensor are refined to enable hourly demand calibration, and an accurate weather data file is gathered. Next, sensitivity analysis is conducted to identify the key fixed parameters for the calibration process. Following the calibration of these fixed parameters, the final level involves the calibration of dynamic variables to achieve a robust hourly agreement between simulated and measured data. The developed strategy is implemented in a multi-purpose building located in the Aalto University campus in Finland. The building is simulated as a simplified five-zone model developed in the whole-building simulation software IDA-ICE, including various educational sections, workshops, a shopping center, and a metro station. Sensors and meters are used to measure the hourly indoor air temperature by zone, whereas the calibration aims at minimizing the difference between measured and simulated heating and cooling energy demands. In conclusion, the proposed calibration strategy appears to be successful in facilitating hourly synchronization between simplified simulation models and multi-purpose buildings.

Die Architektur der Sternwarte auf Gut Bothkamp von 1869

Probably ›always‹ were people interested in the sky and watched the stars. The continuous progress of telescopes not only led to ever-changing uses of the stars, but also the instrument’s susceptibility to damage and bad pictures. Therefore, massive and useful locations were needed. In 1869 the Chamberlain Friedrich Gustav von Bülow – who wasn’t an astronomer himself – built on his estate’s edge in Bothkamp, Northern Germany, a private observatory, surrounded by water and open sky on a filled headland. Not only the location or it housing Europe’s biggest telescope were kind of unusual, but the observatory’s appearance and architecture. It was a rotunda with a hollow column in the middle on which the telescope stood, surrounded by eight rooms same size. The building had a gothic looking entrance, a walkable terrace with balustrade on the ground floor and a rotatable cone-type roof on the upper floor, which could be opened by an elongated flap. Bothkamp was one of just a few private observatories, which generally had little architectural design. Since it lacked the typical dome or at least a tower, it looked different anyway. Although Northern Germany had become Prussian at the time of building, the observatory’s appearance doesn’t correspond to the Berlin School at all. Additionally, there was the uncommon use as a multi-purpose building and the representative interior design. Since the astronomical research in Bothkamp ended with World War I and the building was pulled down in the 1930s, the article presents the observatory based on old views and reconstructions and classifies it within contemporary observatories and other buildings.

BIMTEK PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN BERBASIS GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE DAN PAJAK PADA BUMDES KARYA MANDIRI DESA CIBODAS-LEMBANG

With the granting of village autonomy, villages can take advantage of opportunities by developing and maximizing the potential of their villages by establishing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The establishment of BUMDes Karya Mandiri in Cibodas Village-Lembang was motivated by the need for clean water and the discovery of springs that could be used for the needs of the villagers. Along with the development of the Karya Mandiri BUMDes business unit, it is not only clean water management but also increased by the presence of Village Kiosks, waste management, multi-purpose building rentals and package delivery in collaboration with Shopee. The problems faced by BUMDes Karya Mandiri are financial management and understanding of BUMDes taxes that need improvement. The method used in the service begins with conducting a survey to identify the problem. The next stage is providing training, solutions are given according to the problem, among others related to financial management with control based on the implementation of good corporate governance and taxation for BUMDes, then assistance on improvement and monitoring implementation. Perancangan Gedung Serbaguna Di Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalimantan Barat

The Community Service Program (PPM) entitled Designing a Multipurpose Building at the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, was motivated by the need for the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School to fulfill the educational facilities and infrastructure in the form of a Multipurpose Building. The scope of implementation of activities is the planning and design of the Multipurpose Building so that activities can be properly accommodated according to the required capacity and comfort, as well as meeting building technical standards. The method used consists of four stages. First, collecting site data, user requirements and required building technical standards. Second, do space planning and programming analysis. Third, formulate the design concept. Fourth, developing the design into a technical drawing / DED and budget plan. The community or audience in this PPM are the administrators and teaching staff in Miftahul Ulum. The PPM implementing team and the community jointly formulate the space requirements to be met for the multipurpose building, starting from the function of the space, activities in the room, space capacity and space supports. The objective and final result expected from this PPM is the drafting of the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School's Multipurpose Building Design Document.

Implementation of Data from Wind Tunnel Tests in the Design of a Tall Building with an Elliptic Ground Plan

The design of a 69 m tall multipurpose building was investigated in this paper. The shape of the structure above the ground was an elliptical cylinder. Under the ground, the building was extended into a cuboid shape (for car parking). External wind pressure coefficients were determined using three methods: wind tunnel tests, CFD, and “the simplification of the shape” (using information defined in building standards). From the obtained results, it was evident that the simplification did not provide results with sufficient accuracy. The external wind pressure coefficients presented in this paper should be used for the design of a similar structure. The shape of the elliptical cylinder is very sensitive to applied wind. Positive pressures only occur on a small area of the windward side. The rest of the windward side is loaded with negative pressures. Therefore, torsional effects can occur, and these can be dangerous for the structure. The leeward side is completely loaded with negative pressures. In our case, this information was necessary for a follow-on static and dynamic analysis of the building. Various subsoil stiffness coefficients were considered. The calculated horizontal displacement was compared with the limit value. A measured wind direction of 20° caused the maximum obtained torsional moment, and a wind direction of 90° induced the maximum obtained force. The commercial program Ansys Fluent 2022 was used for the CFD simulation. The SCIA ENGINEER 21 program was used for follow-on analysis. This paper presents brief information on the selected turbulence model and details the settings used for the CFD simulation. Also, a description of the wind tunnel laboratory utilized in this study is provided, along with a description of the measuring devices used and the methodologies of the tests carried out. The main purpose of this paper is to show how important it is to consider the wind load for the static analysis of a structure like this.

Numerical safety and performance analysis of a multipurpose building’s structure: case study

This report presents a case study of a multi-use building situated in Brasília-DF. The building's structural model is made up of elements of a spatial portico and four-knot plate, measuring 25.75 by 25.75 m with a height of 11.65 m. The structure is supported by rotating pillars at the base. The ground floor has a ceiling height of 3.25 m, while the other floors have a ceiling height of 2.80 m. The closure is made of bored brick masonry. In this article, numerical analyses were conducted using the SAP2000 structural software to verify the structure's displacement, deformation, and stress. The study followed the ultimate and in-use limit state criteria for the Brazilian standard of reinforced concrete (NBR 6118). The report also presents the building's structural pathologies, detected through visual inspection. The main structural elements and their respective pathologies are described, and numerical tests are shown. Due to the presence of various cracks and other pathologies in the building, an elastic instability analysis was conducted using the Rankine-Marchant analysis model to verify the collapse load factor. After approximately 17 years of use, the building is revisited to assess the durability and performance of the recovered structural components and procedures.

Alternative Design of Menara 17 Structure in Surabaya with Castellated Steel Beam

Assigning structural material is one of critical step in designing, steel material often used because of it high ductility. Menara 17 is a 17 storey multipurpose building with reinforced concrete as an existing material structure. This research analyze Menara 17 alternative design with Special Moment Frame (SMF) steel structure to resist lateral load with high ductility and expected to withstand significant inelastic deformation. Castellated beam is used to increase it capacity to weight ratio and ease MEP installation through the opening. SNI and AISC is used for main design guide. From the analysis result, the alternative design has satisfy criteria of irregularity, P-delta effect, story drift, and Strong Column Weak Beam. Honeycomb castellated beam HCO 520.250.9.14 profile is used as main beam. King-cross column KC 800.400.16.30 profile is used as main column. Circular hollow section CHS 406,4.40 profile is used as diagonal bracing. Wide flange WF 200.200.8.12 profile is used as lateral bracing. Lateral bracing to beam is connected with shear connection. Beam to column is connected with endplate moment connection. Menara 17 design with steel structure is 59,17% less heavy than reinforced concrete structure.

Improving the Literacy Skills of Children in Kijang Jaya Village Through Competitions to Commemorate National Children's Day

KKN activities carried out by Riau University Students in Kijang Jaya Village carry several themes, one of which is literacy. The choice of theme was motivated by an analysis of the situation and conditions existing at the location where the KKN activities were carried out. This community service activity with a literacy theme aims to improve the literacy skills of children in Kijang Jaya Village. One of the programs included in the literacy theme is competition activities to commemorate National Children's Day on July 23 2023 at the Kijang Jaya Village Multipurpose Building. The competitions held were the Storytelling, Fast Accurate and Ranking 1 competitions. The competition implementation method consisted of two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The results obtained from this competition activity are an increase in children's knowledge and literacy skills.

 Garbage accumulation, especially plastic waste, is a global problem that must be addressed immediately because it will have an impact on the existence of the environment. The purpose of this service program is to support the Government's 3R program in reducing the volume of waste in Indonesia by internalizing the character of caring for the environment while increasing the skills of the Teguhan Village Mentari Garbage Bank management by utilizing plastic waste to make beautiful bags so they are useful. Participants in this service were 32 people consisting of the Management of the Mentari Garbage Bank and members of the Teguhan Mentari Garbage Bank. Community service activities are carried out in the multi-purpose building of Dusun 4 Teguhan village for 3 days, 11-13 December 2022. The service is carried out by arranging permits, recording the number of members of the Mentari Waste Bank and administrators, socializing inorganic waste recycling materials and mentoring and evaluating activities. The results of this community service resulted in a material understanding of the Government's 3R program with quite good achievements with an average of 83%. Knowledge of 3R and the environmental care movement made the participants wiser and more concerned about the environment. The participants received and absorbed training materials on the 3R program and the skills to process inorganic waste properly. Furthermore, the participants can demonstrate directly how to make bags from inorganic waste using certain techniques so that the results obtained can be interesting and of good quality.
 
 
 
 
 

Sinergitas Penguatan Dakwah Dan Kemandirian Perekonomian Melalui Perencanaan Gedung Serbaguna Sebagai Pengembangan Amal Usaha PCM Sawit Boyolali

Community service programs have been implemented at the head of the Muhammadiyah Sawit Boyolali branch. The purpose of the community service program is to plan the development of da'wah through the development of Muhammadiyah business charity within the PCM Sawit Boyolali company. From the results of discussions held by the service team and management of the PCM Branch Leadership, it was agreed that the development of Muhammadiyah business charity was realized by planning the PCM Multipurpose Building. The problem that arises is that the land that will be used as the location for the construction of the Multipurpose Building is not yet available. The effort made is to invite all company residents to participate in the construction building. From the joint efforts of the Muhammadiyah Sawit branch leader, Boyolali received waqf land from company residents in the PCM Sawit environment. With the waqf land from the company's residents, the problems faced related to the location of the building placement have been solved. 

A Comparative Study on Temporary Shelters for Emergency Disasters of Thailand: Case Study of Emergency Shelter of Japan

Since there were some spatial physical problems of temporary shelters in Thailand regarding the use of temples as temporary shelters for supporting victims of emergency disasters that failed to meet with international standards, the researcher conducted this study to decrypt spatial physical condition of temporary shelter of Japan that was the case study of this research. The objective of this research was to conduct comparative study on temporary shelters for emergency disasters of Thailand: case study of emergency shelter of Japan. Research process used in this research was qualitative research and research tools were divided into 2 parts including: document research for studying on documents related to temporary shelters of Japan and Thailand; and field survey. The samples were obtained from considering on 5 temples. The results Japan’s temporary shelter that was the case study of this research the residential place of victims was a gymnasium located in primary school with utility spaces for supporting behaviors and daily life activities of victims. When comparing to Thailand, the building used as temporary shelter of victims was multipurpose building the major utility space of multipurpose building was the hall. Conclusions on environmental improvement or arrangement of temples for supporting temporary shelters to meet with international standards were divided into 3 alternatives. The researcher divided suggestions in to 2 dimensions including: 1) Operations of Government Sector; and 2) Participation in Establishment of Temporary Shelters in Temple Areas, in Thai context in order to obtain temporary shelters with international standards.

ASESMEN DAN DETEKSI DINI ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DI PAUD, KB, DAN TK

Education is the foundation for the development of the nation. The education level in Indonesia starts from early childhood, family planning or kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school and high school. Education at the early childhood, family planning and kindergarten levels is the beginning of character building. At this level, it is also necessary to identify and early detect children with special needs. The purpose of this identification is so that treatment and handling can be right on target. Identification aims to capture children with special needs from heterogeneous environments to look for the specific characteristics that each child has. After carrying out the identification, the next step is to conduct an assessment. Assessment is carried out with the aim of finding or collecting data that will be used in planning and implementing the learning process.
 Partners in this PPM activity are PAUD, KB and TK teachers throughout Surabaya. The problem faced by partners is how to identify and early detect and assess children with special needs at the preschool, family planning and kindergarten levels. This training and assistance was carried out offline at the Multipurpose Building of SMPN 26 Surabaya (Jl. Banjar Sugihan Baru No.21, Banjar Sugihan, Tandes District, Surabaya City which was held on September 22, 2022 from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB. In this PPM activity, the lecturer also involved 2 students from the Special Education Study Program. 
 The conclusions of PkM activities are (1) the importance of identification and early detection of children with special needs at the PAUD, KB and kindergarten levels, and (2) after identifying and detecting early, it is necessary to assess so that children with problems can get appropriate treatment.

Utilization of the National Building to Increase Regional Original Income of Sungai Penuh City

Sungai Penuh City is a city resulting from the division that has many regional assets that have not been identified and managed properly. One of them is Gedung Nasional, which is a regional asset as a result of the handover from Kerinci Regency in 2021. The purpose of the research is to formulate a model for the utilization of Gedung Nasional as a multi-purpose building and determine the strategy for optimizing the utilization of Gedung Nasional to increase the Regional Original Income of Sungai Penuh City. This study uses a mixed method approach through observation, documentation and interviews with the government, community leaders and filling out a purposive sampling questionnaire. The data analysis tool uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with a Saaty scale approach starting from a weighted value of 1 to 9. The results of the study obtained that the optimization strategy for the utilization of Gedung Nasional to increase the Regional Original Income of Sungai Penuh City is (1) improving/adding facilities and services, (2) providing incentives to levy collectors/managers, (3) requiring the use of Gedung Nasional facility as a standard for Sungai Penuh City physical activity, (4) improving the legal/regulatory system, (5) establishing criteria and evaluating the object of retribution for cooperation with other parties. third parties.
