Economic progress relies on the banking sector, which provides vital services globally. This study uses financial inclusion to assess the banking sector’s rising participation in rural India. Even if financial services have moved to remote places, the necessity to build and sustain good customer relationships remains. CRM is essential to these collaborations. This research explores industry-proposed customer relationship management (CRM) frameworks, focusing customer involvement, data management, and CRM implementation. The study examines how CRM affects customer satisfaction, loyalty, and operational efficiency, citing Payne (2005), Thejaswarup (2017), Tangaza (2017), Eid (2007), and Sharma &Goyal (2016). The objectives are to analyse CRM components and propose a comprehensive banking industry framework. Literature reviews, articles, and expert comments are used for data collection. CRM’s customer data management, engagement strategies, sales and marketing automation, customer service, analytics, workflow automation, segmentation, mobile CRM, system integration, and feedback mechanisms are reviewed. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is crucial to banking success, according to the survey. This article covers important CRM frameworks that combine multi-author viewpoints for clarity. The conclusion proposes a groundbreaking banking-specific CRM paradigm. Focusing on socio-economic challenges, technological flexibility, staff training, customer data collecting, analysis, timely integration, and evaluation, this framework aims to meet evolving consumer and banking sector expectations.

Improving real estate CRM user experience and satisfaction: A user-centered design approach

Despite the growth in CRM installations, e-CRM projects still have a significant failure rate, even after substantial investments in CRM technology. High rates of failure mean that the current requirements for developing and designing CRM need to be analysed. It's not enough to just look at data related to a service's efficiency; it's also crucial to consider the impact on the user experience and their overall level of satisfaction. Given that CRM is a people-centric business strategy, it's pertinent to wonder how much progress may be made in a similarly people-centric field like Real Estate through the development and use of a user-centred design approach. This study aims to seamlessly integrate a mobile customer relationship management (m-CRM) system with an electronic customer relationship management (e-CRM) system to increase customer loyalty, satisfaction, and performance through a user-friendly interface. User research, preliminary interviews, five usability interviews, and satisfaction surveys confirmed the functionality implemented and for each iteration, an expert was used to evaluate it. For this artifact's creation and assessment, the DSR technique was used, with each interview serving as a data point for the model. It was determined that the Desktop interface solution may improve this CRM’s ease of use and user satisfaction, thereby benefiting the real estate industry through strengthened connections and more straightforward oversight of professionals' performances.

Mobile-customer relationship management and its effect on post-purchase behavior: The moderating of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness

Customers' online shopping intentions have not changed in response to technological advancements, making it difficult for businesses and marketers to invent new strategies to maintain long-term relationships with customers and encourage them to repurchase despite unprecedented technological advancements around the world. Following these issues, the current study investigated how M-CRM, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Usefulness influenced Post-Purchase Behavior, as well as how Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness mediated the relationship between M-CRM and Post-Purchase Behavior. The study introduces the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology as a theoretical framework to accomplish this goal. The 239 responses were evaluated using Smart Partial Least Squares after the data was obtained from a random sample of Jordanian consumers. M-CRM, as well as Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness, had a beneficial influence on post-purchase behavior, according to the data. Perceived Usefulness and Ease of Use The relationship between M-CRM and Post-Purchase Behavior was impacted by usefulness. Companies might use these facts to develop a marketing strategy for Jordanian customers.

Mobile CRM development for real estate agents

PurposeReal estate agents are professionals who need up-to-date and accurate information about their clients in order to maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with each of them. A satisfied customer can be very valuable and profitable in the long term. This research focuses on solving the problem of the lack of a mobile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) adapted to the needs of professionals. The importance of solving this problem is related to the importance of optimizing work and resources in a highly abundant information industry.Design/methodology/approachIt was developed of a CRM for mobile devices capable of managing information about the customers and business partners of each user, which provides a set of features well defined by the professionals. These features were collected through 15 face-to-face interviews and validated with six video conference interviews with industry specialists. For the development and evaluation of this artefact was followed the DSR methodology, corresponding each interview to an iteration of this model.FindingsFrom this research resulted a selection of functionalities considered essential to the real estate agent's work. These features were successfully implemented in a mobile application that real estate agents appreciate for its simplicity and that they feel adds real value to their daily lives. Using this service, the productivity and performance of real estate agents might be improved.Originality/valueIt was verified that the mobile CRM solution developed is a desired solution by real estate agents in terms of customer portfolio management, enhancing the evolution of their relationships and monitoring professional's performance.

The Antecedents of the Consumers' Mobile Learning Intention during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract
 Purpose Covid-19, which affects the whole world, has caused serious changes in many aspects such as lifestyle, habits and purchasing behaviour. New digital consumers and companies that emerged during the epidemic; they realized that mobile devices, especially mobile phones, have become a solution to many real-world problems such as learning and education anytime and anywhere. This study aims to determine the factors affecting the users' mobile learning (m-learning) usage intention during the Covid-19 pandemic process.
 Design/methodology/approach – This study contributed to the confirmation of the extended TAM model for a mobile device. The sample of the questionnaire is 460 students from different universities in Turkey. These data obtained were analyzed with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and LISREL program was used for data analysis.
 Findings – This study proffers a model that the antecedents of the users' mobile learning intention during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the factor affecting the users' mobile learning (m-learning) intention to use the most is perceived ease of use, the least effective factor is intrinsic leisure motivation, and the future anxiety factor has a meaningless effect.
 Originality/value – A holistic view of the antecedents of the users' mobile learning intention during the Covid-19 pandemic would be of important use to practitioners and academics alike. This study is different from previous studies; It is thought that it will contribute to the literature by addressing the effects of internal leisure motivation, future anxiety, behavioural spread and system-service quality dimensions on m-learning. For the researchers, this study took an important step towards explaining the m-learning relationship with students' intrinsic leisure motivation, future anxiety, behavioural spread, and system-service quality learning perspectives.

Stimulating customers’ reuse of online services, such as online shopping, is integral for companies. Consequently, this study assessed the effects of mobile customer relationship management on reuse online intention and the impact of mobile customer relationship management on service convenience. Additionally, the study analyzed the effect of service convenience on reuse online intention, the mediating role of service convenience between mobile customer relationship management and reuse online intention and the moderating role of online perceived behavior control between service convenience and reuse online intention. This study utilized two theories: the technology acceptance model and planned behavior. A total of 249 responses from customers were analyzed with Smart Partial Least Squares. According to the study, mobile customer relationship management positively impacts service convenience and reuse online intention. Additionally, service convenience mediated the connection between mobile customer relationship management and reuse of online intention, and online perceived behavioral control moderated the association between service convenience and reuse online intention. The study focused on consumers’ motivations regarding reuse online services intention. The goal here is to aid organizations in the implementation of service convenience and innovative online strategies and applications that provide services to consumers.

ICT-enabled CRM system adoption: a dual Indian qualitative case study and conceptual framework development

PurposeThe paper aims to develop a comprehensive framework for adopting an information and communication technology (ICT)-enabled customer relationship management (CRM) system, toward strengthening and expanding the customer basis of the organization.Design/methodology/approachAdvanced ICT-enabled CRM includes mobile CRM, AI integrated CRM and social CRM and several business organizations have already started exploring their advanced utilization for direct financial gain and indirect “soft” benefits. Most of them, however, are challenged in the process, due to lower-than-demanded adoption of such CRM systems. To deal with the issue, the paper methodologically applies a dual qualitative case study approach that ultimately develops an advanced comprehensive CRM adoption framework.FindingsThe key findings pertaining to the evaluation of organizations’ readiness to adopt advanced ICT-enabled CRM systems in terms of infrastructure and resources, the identification of the critical functional areas of the organization’s focus and the differences in the requisite approaches across industries and organization types.Practical implicationsIn the context of the internet and social media, the analysis and management of customer big data and their transcription into useable information is crucial. Traditional and conventional CRM was deemed unable to address this need, thus necessitating the use of advanced ICT-enabled CRM. The proposed corresponding framework tangibly and practically, thus, directs businesses toward the successful deployment of ICT-based CRM systems.Originality/valueThis study constitutes a novel attempt to identify the issues of deployment of ICT-based CRM systems in an organization and proposes a comprehensive framework, which will enable organizations to overcome the barriers when adopting a new system.

The impact of mobile customer relationship management (mCRM) on sales collaboration and sales performance

In our study, a measure of Mobile CRM (mCRM) is adapted and applied to salespeople in a business-to-business sales context. We propose a research model that integrates Technology Acceptance Model and DeLone and McLean’s IS success model to investigate the impact mCRM has on sales performance. Relationships with sales business process, traditional CRM use, collaboration and sales performance are conceptualized and tested. Results suggest that sales performance is highest when digital tools such as mCRM are supported by sales process. Results also suggest that mCRM impacts the relationship performance with customers when collaboration mediates the relationship. Overall, the research empirically demonstrates that mCRM plays an important role in traditional CRM adoption and in sales performance when sales process capabilities and collaboration are involved.

This paper presents UML (unified modeling language) modeling on mobile CRM for a parent guardian information system. The current problem is that the relationship between parents of students and university is still there. The purpose of this study is to eliminate the distance between parents of students with universities in the aspect of information related to the academic development of their children. Using ones of system development life cycle, UML is used to model the system requirements that will be developed based on an analysis of existing needs. The result of this study is a UML model of mobile CRM for parental guardian information system.

Research Agenda for Mobile Context Sensitive Business Processes

Mobile devices like smartphones and tablets are ubiquitous and have affected many daily work activities such as maintaining contacts via a mobile CRM. Furthermore, mobile devices provide many sensor data. They measure physical quantities like location or acceleration. In addition, the connection to wireless networks made it feasible to query data in real time, like customer history or the next calendar appointment. These sensor information and data could be used to enhance business processes with context. The context information could be utilized to adapt business process and mobile applications automatically to the current situation. Therefore, this paper aims at evaluating existing approaches for mobile business process and business process adaption in a literature review. Furthermore, it shows how existing approaches cover the business process lifecycle and reveals gaps for a further research agenda.

Investigating the antecedents to the adoption of SCRM technologies by start-up companies

Despite their fairly recent emergence, start-up companies now play an important role in the economic development of countries around the globe. These companies have fewer tangible assets and capital, and therefore, the efficient delivery of services and products is a key business priority for them. Customer relationship management (CRM) technologies, which are designed to facilitate customer engagement during the design, development and delivery of services and products may play a significant role in the success or failure of start-up companies. Developments in new communication technologies have transformed traditional CRM into electronic CRM (eCRM), mobile CRM (mCRM); and more recently, social CRM (SCRM). However, there remains very little understanding of the factors affecting SCRM adoption in start-up businesses. The relative newness of SCRM technologies, coupled with the swiftly evolving nature of start-up companies: which has made them difficult cases to study – has limited the amount of research undertaken in this area. This paper aims to close this gap by proposing a framework that depicts the factors affecting start-up companies’ intention to adopt SCRM applications, and explores the relative importance of these factors. Inspired by an extended Technological, Organisational and Environmental (TOE) framework, this paper investigates effects of technological characteristics (TC), organisational characteristics (OC), environmental characteristics (EC) and managerial characteristics (MC) on start-up companies’ intentions to adopt SCRM applications.The results outlined in this research indicate that the observability, compatibility and trialability of SCRM solutions positively affect SCRM adoption in start-up businesses. Moreover, the availability of internal financial resources has a similarly positive effect. When considering environmental characteristics, it was found that support from venture capitalists, crowd funding support, governmental support, business angels support and external pressure all positively affect the intention to adopt SCRM applications within start-up businesses.

Unleashing the Power of mCRM: Investigating Antecedents of Mobile CRM Values from Managers’ Viewpoint

ABSTRACTMobile technology together with Internet-based electronic commerce has transformed the way businesses operate. Mobile Customer Relationship Management (mCRM) combines mobility and CRM (customer relationship management) to enable organizations to increase their business performance by delivering better products/services to their customers. Incorporating location-based information into CRM systems has created new values and business opportunities. Using location information, for example, businesses can offer more personalized and real-time location-based services (LBS) to their customers. In this study, we investigate how the IT infrastructure and LBS support of mCRM, as technical resource capabilities, and mCRM knowledge and education, as human resource capabilities, can enhance business performance of the organization by improving mCRM’s quality dimensions. We propose a research model that integrates the resource-based view (RBV) of a firm and DeLone and McLean IS success model to investigate the effects of mCRM quality dimensions on business performance. To validate the proposed research model, we collected a set of empirical data from managers in a wide range of organizations that use mCRM in South Korea. The results indicate that the IT infrastructure of an organization as a technical resource, along with mCRM users’ knowledge, as a human resource capability can significantly influence managers’ perceptions of quality along various dimensions of mCRM: customer data quality, system quality, and service quality. Consequently, improving these quality dimensions will significantly influence the performance of an organization in terms of financial performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The present study would help both academic and professionals to understand and improve business performance by employing the appropriate resources that can harness the full potential of mCRM.

A conceptual model of the drivers and outcomes of mobile CRM application adoption

Purpose – Many organizations still struggle with sales force technology implementation because of low user adoption rates. The ubiquity of mobile computing devices, such as smartphones and tablets, and the proliferation of mobile customer relationship management (mCRM) applications, may lead to increased CRM adoption and higher returns on CRM technology investments. The purpose of this study is to attempt to extend the current literature by developing a model of mCRM antecedents and outcomes by incorporating the idiosyncratic mCRM characteristics that have not yet been examined in the sales technology literature. Design/methodology/approach – This research utilizes the technology acceptance model and the technology-to-performance chain as the foundation of a conceptual model of the drivers and outcomes of mCRM adoption. Findings – This conceptual study provides several contributions to both the sales technology literature and to practitioners within sales organizations. The proposed conceptual model outlines the benefits of providing mCRM capabilities to sales professionals. These benefits include increased productivity, sales activity and collaboration among both internal stakeholders (management and peers) and external stakeholders (prospects and customers). Originality/value – Despite the increased use of mobile applications in sales, research on this particular form of technology is limited, and sales researchers have yet to examine mCRM or its relationship to sales performance. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to forward a conceptual model that allows researchers to explore the drivers of mCRM use and how mCRM influences individual and organizational-level outcomes.

The firms benefits of mobile CRM from the relationship marketing approach and the TOE model

Firms that achieve to establish reciprocal and successful relationships with their clients can obtain greater profitability in their relationship marketing inversions. This study adopts the TOE model to consider technological factors (technological competence), organizational factors (innovativeness and employee support) and environment factors (customer information management) to define the perceived benefits deriving from mobile CRM. The empirical study was performed with information obtained from 125 firms and analyzed with structural equation modeling. Results suggest that the firm perceives benefits from the m-CRM use if it is technologically competitive, shows propensity to innovativeness, manages customers’ information and has employees’ support. The main contribution is the simultaneous use of the TOE model and the relationship marketing approach to understand, from the Spanish firm perspective, the perception of the management of the relationship with customers through the mobile phone.

Evaluating effects of mobile CRM on employees’ performance

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine employees’ personal performance after mobile customer relationship management (m-CRM) use based on an updated model of information system (IS) success. The authors also investigate whether personal performance of employees varies according to the period of m-CRM use. Design/methodology/approach – Bootstrapping is employed to analyze data collected from a survey of firms using m-CRM. The survey targeted executives and staff members in departments related to the development and application of m-CRM systems. Findings – The results indicate that some of the factors had no significant effect on employees’ personal performance through employee satisfaction and system use as mediators. Overall, however, the three types of quality had significant effects on employees’ personal performance through employee satisfaction and system use. Practical implications – The study provides a number of strategies that managers or executives might deploy within organizations to improve employees’ personal performance through the implementation of m-CRM systems. It is of paramount importance for managers or executives to develop m-CRM systems that provide high-quality information and service including sufficient customer-based analysis, up-to-date customer information, barrier-free design and personalized service. Originality/value – It is the first study to empirically test the role of m-CRM characteristics in predicting employees’ personal performance. This study will not only add contribution to the DeLone and McLean’s theory, but also contribute to the IS literature in IS success. The findings will also provide useful insights for guiding managers or executives in formulating and executing effective strategies to enhance the level of m-CRM use and employee satisfaction which in turn promote personal performance.
