"Admission Plus: The Flutter based student Enrolment System"

Admission Plus is online student registration system project developed using Flutter framework. It is a mobile application for students and Anna University affiliated colleges that facilitates online application process. It reduces the manpower needed to facilitate an enrolment process. This mobile application can be accessed by student and all the affiliated colleges. Our application has two types of accessing modes, administrator and student. Student application management database is managed by the college administrator. It is the job of the administrator to admit and monitor the whole application process. Student’s login facilitates to apply for desired colleges by setting preferences and uploading the needed documents.

The Characteristics of Big Data in Successful of Software Development Life Cycle for Mobile Application

This paper aims to software development life cycle for big data, software development and mobile application for the new environment of the real world. The big data is a new design in the world for the Internet devices to connected life in new environment. The paper reviews 6Vs such as (Volume, Variety, Velocity, Variability, Veracity and Value) for big data an environment application used in the mobile application for students and instructors in university. In fact, for the digital content is to efficiency and effectively for accessed the contents with anytime and everywhere to capture the speeding and capacity data. Current research on software development on application for students and instructors is limited to readiness and awareness. This research extends the need for empirical findings from system analyst and top management of digital contents for big data approach.

Post-it notes: supporting teachers in authoring vocabulary game contents

In this work, we present Post-it Notes, a system for supporting vocabulary acquisition in a foreign language for primary school children. The system consists of an authoring tool designed for teachers and a mobile application for students. The authoring tool is a web application for creating language learning materials. It supports inserting terms, each one defining a specific meaning of a word, specifying their syntax, definition, phonetics, pronunciation and descriptive image. The correspondences between terms represent translations between languages. Furthermore, the authoring tool allows teachers to create stories, organised as a sequence of sentences, including a set of hidden words for reinforcing their usage. Once published, the story is accessible from the mobile application, which assists children in following the plot. The learning game consists of guessing the missing words by taking pictures of augmented objects distributed in the surrounding environment. A similar interface allows the student to rehearse specific term sets, attaching visual markers to real objects. We evaluated the authoring tool with teachers. The results show both good usability and good acceptance. In addition, we also carried out an observational study in a primary school, describing the children’s behaviour in interacting with the mobile application and group dynamics.

INTEGRATING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY IN ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The purpose of this study is building a web and win dows based intelligent system using web technologies, biometric and Radio Frequency Identif ication technologies (RFID) to strengthen an Academic Management System (AMS) in a campus for monitoring and improving academic performance of teachers and students. A campus mobile phone application will allow guardians to monitor student’s movement history at campus, e-payments and food choices at canteen, class attendance, exam attendance and academic performance on daily basis. Mobile application for students will allow students to view their class schedules, teacher appointments, e-payment statement, warnings or announcements, locate their exam halls and searc h for classrooms.
