The oxine method after oxygen flask combustion which was used earlier for determining cadmium, magnesium, uranium, zinc, cobalt, manganese, titanium, lanthanum, molybdenum, thorium, neodymium, praseodymium, semarium, and yttrium has now been applied in the determination of europium, gadolinium, gallium, and indium in some of their organometallic compounds. Gravimetric (method I) and volumetric (methods II and III) procedures are applied using a single sample weight. The average percent error for the determination is ± 0.07, ± 0.05, and +- 0.06% for methods I, II, and III, respectively.
