An Error Analysis on the Use Of Simple Past Tense in Writing Narrative Text of 11th Grade High School Students at SMK Swasta YPK Medan Academic Year 2022/2023

Simple past tense is an action or activity carried out by a subject in the past. Past tense refers to actions in the past and tells us all about their relationship with the present. The purpose of this research is to know types and causes of error on simple past tense. To know dominant error on the use of simple past tense in writing narrative text. To find out difficulties faced by students in comprehending simple past tense and narrative text. The researcher adopts a descriptive qualitative method. Carried out by gathering data from the natural environment without altering the situation. Data of this research is error made by students in written test of past tense. Data source is a writing test with the theme “My Holiday”. It consists of 55 words or more. Tests are distributed to 16 students of SMK SW YPK MEDAN. The researcher found 116 errors from writing test that the researcher carried out, it was found that the highest frequency of error that students made was mis formation about 78.45% errors, omission was 12.93% errors, selection was 5.17% errors, addition was 2.59% the last was mis ordering with 0.86%. the researcher also found that the highest error was caused by intralingual and the second highest was caused by interference.

PERFORMANCE OF GUIDANCE COUNSELING TEACHERS ACCORDING TO STUDENT PERCEPTIONS AT SMPN 19 MEDAN

<p>This research aims to find out and analyze how description of the performance of guidance and counseling teachers according to student perceptions at SMPN 19 Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. This research uses an approach The research is descriptive qualitative. Number of sample members in this study namely, as many as 10 grade 8 students from SMP Negeri 19 Medan. Data collection can be done directly by the research subjects with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions while techniques validity of using data triangulation. Based on research conducted by researchers, it is known that teacher performance counseling guidance according to students' perceptions at SMP Negeri 19 Medan, namely BK teachers in providing services are very helpful in overcoming student problems, the student can ask for help from the guidance and counseling teacher in overcome the problems experienced by these students. Then the guidance and counseling teacher in its performance it provides real implementation in everyday life. The results of this research show that the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in junior high schools Negeri 19 Medan has been said to be quite good at being responsible carry out their duties, their performance becomes a role model, deeply creative providing services, implementing attractive services, and their performance optimally so that student problems can be resolved well through guidance the counseling.</p>

The purpose of this study was to determine the "Relationship Between Peer Social Support and Learning Independence of Grade VIII Students at MTs Negeri 2 Medan Academic Year 2022/2023". This study uses a quantitative approach with the correlation method. In this study, the population consisted of 106 students. Sampling in this study used random sampling, which was taken based on the slovin formula, namely as many as 84 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The validity of the instrument was obtained by using the product moment correlation formula, while the reliability of the instrument was obtained by using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Test the hypothesis using the Chi Square test with the help of SPSS IMB 25 for windows. The results of the analysis showed an Asymp.sig (2-sided) value of 0.000 for 84 respondents, so that the value of p <0.05, which means that there is a significant correlation between the variables of peer social support and learning independence

The Influence of the Ropes Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Accounting Subject Class Xi of SMK Negeri 7 Medan Academic Year 2022/2023

The problem in this research is the low achievement of students in class XI AK accounting at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This study aims to determine the results of learning accounting using the ROPES learning model will be significantly higher than the results of learning accounting using conventional learning methods in class XI students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Medan which is located at Jalan STM No. 12 E Kampung Baru, Sitirejo II, Medan Amplas District. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 7 Medan which consisted of 6 classes with a total of 212 students. Sampling in this study was carried out in 2 stages, the first stage of the 6 classes taken 2 classes with purposive sampling technique , namely class XI AK 2 as the Control class and class XI AK 6 as the Experiment class. And the second stage of sampling using random sampling technique, and to determine the number of sample members used the Slovin formula, as many as 60 students, with details of class XI AK 2 (control class) totaling 30 students, and class XI AK 6 (class experiment) amounted to 30 students. The technique of collecting data on learning outcomes uses test questions. This test is in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 20 items. Thus, it can be concluded that the accounting learning outcomes taught using the ROPES Learning Model were significantly higher than the accounting learning outcomes taught using the conventional learning model in class XI AK students at SMK Negeri 7 Medan, Academic Year 2022/ 2023 on the subject matter of Service Companies.

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY DALAM MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR KOMPLEKS PADA SISWA KELAS XI

Indonesian language learning is to improve students’ ability to understand, analyze, evaluate, and produce. This is the background of the researcher to examine the effect of the inquiry learning model on the lesson of writing complex procedure texts. This study aims to improve students’ ability to write complex procedural texts using the inquiry learning model in class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan for the 2020-2021 academic year. The population of this study is all students of class XI, totaling 103 students using a sample of 40 students with random sampling, the method used in this study is an experimental method with a two group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument used to test the ability to write complex procedure texts. The average value of ability in writing complex procedure texts before using the inquiry model is 72,1 while the average value of ability in writing complex procedure texts after using the inquiry model is 80,25. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test class correlation analysis conducted with the product moment correlation formula, it obtained an r value of 0,965 so that thitung 22,456 >ttabel 2,021, it was concluded that the inquiry model had a significant influence on the ability to write complex procedure texts in class XI high school students SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan Academic Year 2020-2021.

PENGARUH LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK TEKNIK DESENSITISASI SISTEMATIS TERHADAP KECEMASAN LULUS MATA KULIAH MAHASISWA SEMESTER II BIMBINGAN KONSELING FIP UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN T.A. 2020/2021

Abstract: The Effect of Group Guidance Service with Systematic Desensitization Techniques on Anxiety of Passing Course Semester II Guidance and Counseling Students, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Medan Academic Year 2020/2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group guidance services with systematic desensitization techniques on the anxiety of passing course in the second semester of guidance and counseling students at FIP UNIMED academic year 2020/2021. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The research subjects were 8 people who were selected by screening using an anxiety scale to pass the course. data analysis used Wilcoxon test, The result showed that the group guidance service of the systematic desensitization technique has proven effective in reducing the level of anxiety in passing students' courses, where Jcount > Jtable is 6 > 4, from the crisis table J for the Wilcoxon marked level test for n = 8 , = 0.05. This can also be seen through the results of the calculation with the pre-test score obtained an average of 118.5 while the post-test data obtained an average of 61.5. EFFECTIVENESS DEVELOPMENT STUDENT WORKSHEETS BASED ON CAT TO IMPROVE MATHEMATIC UNDERSTANDING ABILITIES STUDENTS OF CLASS VI SD METHODIST-12 MEDAN

Basically, the ability of Mathematical Comprehension is an ability that can be trained for every student. Students Worksheet (LKPD) is a learning aid in the learning process. One of them is LKPD based on CAT (Computer Assisted Test). CAT is a learning medium that is designed to be used to develop interactive LKPD related to integer arithmetic operations. This research method is the method of Research and Development. The subject of this research is class VI SD Private Methodist-12 Medan Academic Year 2019/2020. The variables to be measured are proof of important analytical and experimental functions and / or characteristics (TKT 3) which includes the accuracy of LKPD based on CAT design, comprehension ability. student mathematics and the effectiveness and efficiency of use. Based on the expert's judgment, the material in this study was carried out by one validator in the field of mathematics education. The aspects of the assessment are the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics. The average score of the four aspects was 88.02% in the Very Good category. Judgment of media experts that the aspects of media feasibility, content feasibility, presentation and graphic. The average value of this aspect is 90.73% in the Very Good category. THE INFLUENCE OF GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL USING PhET MEDIA ON THE STUDENTS SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS OF LIGHT WAVE MATERIALS

This study aims to look at the science process skills of students using guided inquiry learning models assisted by the PhET media on the science process skills (SPS) of light subject matter, students in class XI, second semester, of SMA Negeri 9 Medan Academic Years 2018/2019. The population is all students of class XI semester II. With the cluster random sampling technique, the class XI IPA 1 was selected as the experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class. Before the study was conducted, the average pretest value of the experimental class was 38.43 and the control class was 38.31. In testing the normality and homogeneity of the two classes, it is obtained that the data of both classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, in the experimental class guided inquiry learning was carried out using PhET media and conventional learning was carried out in other classes. After learning is given then in the two classes conducted posttest with the average results of the experimental class 83.33 and the control class 70.60. From the results of hypothesis testing, there was an increase in students' SPS due to the influence of the PhET guided inquiry learning model on student’s SPS the of light wave principal.Keywords: Learning Models, guided Inquiry, PhET media, Science Process Skills (SPS)

Perbedaan Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Dengan Media Gambar Dan Autograph Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran CTL

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities that obtain CTL learning through autograph software and image media.
 The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research method. The population referred to in this study were all students of class X IPA.1 and X.IPA 2 Al Washliyah High School 3 Medan Academic Year 2018/2019. The sample in this study was taken based on the study population consisting of two classes X, namely class X. IPA 1 and X. IPA 2, where class X. IPA 1 number of students was 20 people as first class of expedition with CTL learning using media Autograph and class X IPA 2: the number of students is 23 as the second expiry class with CTL learning using the Picture media. The instrument used to get the data of this study is tests and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in mathematical problem solving abilities that accept the learning model Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) through software autographs and media images, this is evidenced by the results of tcount for the ability to solve mathematical problem solving in experimental class I of 3.70 and experimental class II of 2.22.

ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI SISTEM EKSKRESI MANUSIA

This research aims to know the student’s learning difficulty on the material of Human Excretion System from cognitive aspects and indicator aspects and factors causing students learning difficulties on the Human Excretion System on class XI IPA SMA Swasta Teladan Medan Academic Year 2017/2018. The population of this research is all students of class XI IPA which amounts to 118 students. The sample was taken by purposive sampling which amounts to 45 students. The instruments used to obtain data were tested student learning outcomes in the material of the Human Excretion System and learning difficulties questionnaire. The results of the research showed that students were categorized as incomplete. The percentage of student learning difficulties in cognitive aspect for C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, and C6 is 40,11% (medium), 37,82% (low), 41,69% (medium), 53,39% (medium), 49,15% (medium), dan 60,45% (high). The percentage of student learning difficulties based on the learning indicators is mentioned the meaning of the excretion system and its organs in the amount of 37,29% (low), identify the structure and function of the kidney in the amount of 35,59% (low), describe the structure of the nephron and explain the process of human urine formation in the amount of 42,91% (medium), identify the structure and function of the liver in the amount of 42,94% (medium), identify the structure and function of the lung in the amount of 47,46% (medium), identify the structure and function of the skin in the amount of 48,31% (medium), and determine abnormalities or diseases in human excretory organs in the amount of 55,37% (medium). Difficulties in the indicators of structure and function of the kidney and the process of formation of urine are categorized as inhibitory. Indicators of the understanding of the excretion system and its organs, the structure and function of the lung, the structure and function of the liver, abnormalities in the human excretory system, and the learning system in the material of the human excretory system are quite inhibiting categories. While indicators of the structure and function of the skin are categorized as not inhibiting.

APPLICATION OF LEARNING VARIATIONS TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE FOREHAND DRIVE TABLE TENNIS GAME IN CLASS STUDENTS VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL MUHAMMADIYAH 3 MEDAN ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/2019

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes forehand drive table tennis drives in class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Medan Academic Year 2018/2019 through Learning Variations This research is a classroom action research. The study was conducted in two cycles, with data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive based on qualitative analysis with the percentage: (1) From the test results of learning before using variations of learning obtained 27 students (90%) who have not reached the level of mastery learning , while 3 students (10%) have reached the level of mastery learning. Then learning is done using variations in learning (2) from the test of learning outcomes through learning variation in the first cycle obtained 14 students (46.67%) who reached the level of mastery learning, while 16 students (53.33%) have not reached the level of mastery learning. With an average value of 70.9. Then the learning variation (3) from the second learning achievement test in the second cycle contained 21 students (70%) who reached the level of mastery learning, while 9 students (30%) had not reached the level of mastery learning, with an average value of 8. Based on Data analysis can be said that through the variety of learning can improve learning outcomes in Table Tennis Forehand Drive in VIII grade students of Muhammadiyah Middle School 3 Medan Academic Year 2018/2019.

PENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR LARI SPRINT MELALUI VARIASI PEMBELAJARAN SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 MEDAN

This study aims to determine the Improved Learning Outcomes of Sprints Using Learning Variations in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Medan Academic Year 2018/2019. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII with 32 students. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research using a quantitative approach. From preliminary Sprint data using variations in overall learning outcomes There are only 10 students who understand the basic techniques of sprint running (31.25%), the remaining 22 students still cannot understand how to do the sprints starting from the beginning, implementation and suffixes ie around (68.75%). Cycle I obtained as many as 22 students (68.75%) have reached the level of mastery learning while 10 students have not reached the level of mastery learning (31.25%), but have not met the expected classical completeness criteria of 75%. Cycle II as many as 27 students (84.37%) who have achieved mastery learning and 5 students are still incomplete (15.63%). The conclusion of the research is that through variations in learning can have an effect in efforts to improve learning outcomes for sprint running in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Medan Academic Year 2018/2019.

THE EFFECT OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODELS: GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) MODEL TOWARDS STUDENTS LEARNING RESULTS ON THE SUBJECT MATTER GAS KINETIC IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 18 MEDAN SEMESTER II ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/2017

This study aimed to determine the effect of using cooperative learning model which was Group Investigation (GI) model toward the student learning results on the subject matter Kinetic Theory of Gas Class XI Semester II Senior High School 18 Medan Academic Year 2016/2017. This kind of research was quasi-experiment with two group pre-test and post-test design. The population in research is all of students class XI Senior High School Negeri 18 Medan consists of 4 class. The sample of the research was taken by two classes determined by random sampling technique, that is class XI MIPA-2 using cooperative group investigation model type with number of students is 24 people and class XI MIPA-3 using conventional learning with number of students is 27 people. The research instrument in the form of an essay test was eight matter — data analysis techniques used by normality test, homogeneity test and different test (t-test). Pembelajaran Sastra Berbasis Kearifan Lokal pada Siswa Kelas VIII-1 SMP YP. Pangeran Antasari Medan

The purpose of this study was to find out the effective steps in literary learning based on local wisdom and to find out the process of literary learning based on local wisdom in class VIII-1 of SMP YP. Pangeran Antasari Medan Academic Year 2018/2019. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The results of this study only describe or construct in-depth interviews with the subject of research so that it can provide a clear picture of the understanding of local wisdom-based literary learning in class VIII-1 of SMP YP. Pangeran Antasari Medan. This study does not use populations and samples, but uses research subjects. In this study, the data sources were obtained from the determined research sites, namely in class VIII-1 of SMP YP. Antasari Medan. The collection technique in this study consisted of three ways, namely Observation, Interview or interview, and Questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the learning process and short story learning steps are based on local wisdom in class VIII-1 of SMP YP. Pangeran Antasari Medan is good. The Effect of Problem Based on Learning Models Using Macromedia Flash and Motivation Against Student Learning Outcomes on Environmental Pollution Materials

This study aims to determine: 1) whether the learning outcomes of students taught with problem-based learning models using macromedia flash are better than students taught with direct learning models, 2) whether the learning outcomes of students who have high motivation are better than students who have low motivation,3) is there an interaction between the two learning models with the level of motivation in influencing student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi experimental study. The population in this study were all grade VII students of MTs Lab. UINSU Medan Academic Year 2018/2019 which consists of three classes. Samples were selected by cluster random sampling of two classes. . The instrument used was a student learning motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes test. Data obtained from the research instrument were then analyzed using two-way anova in the SPSS 14.0 for Windows program. The results showed that: Student learning outcomes taught by the problem-based learning model were better than students taught by the direct learning model (sig. = 0.027 <0.05), Student learning outcomes that were highly motivated were better than students who were motivated low (sig. = 0,000 <0.05), There is an interaction between the two learning models with the level of motivation in influencing student learning outcomes (sig. = 0.018 <0.05).
