Dynamics of an AI-Driven Mathematical Model of Some Learning Theories

Objectives. This paper delves into the intersection of mathematical modelling and learning theory, exploring how mathematical frameworks have been instrumental in advancing our understanding of educational processes and pedagogical practices with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Material and methods. Advancing learning theories through mathematical modelling offers several significant benefits and opportunities. This is because mathematical models provide a precise and systematic framework for representing complex educational phenomena, allowing researchers to formalize theoretical concepts, relationships, and mechanisms in a clear and rigorous manner. Results and Conclusions. This paper focused on such learning theories as cooperative learning theory, Maslow motivation theory, and social learning theory. By employing mathematical models, researchers have been able to dissect complex educational phenomena, elucidate underlying mechanisms, and predict outcomes with a level of precision that traditional qualitative approaches often struggle to achieve.

Recognition Strategy and Performance of Non-Teaching Staff at University of Eldoret in Kenya

Non-academic staff contribute significantly to the effective functioning of universities across the globe, supporting the institution's mission of education, research, and service to society. Their roles are diverse and essential, helping to create a supportive and conducive environment for academic excellence and student success. Their performance is aligned with broader national development priorities and the global agenda set forth by the SDGs. Their contributions are essential for advancing education, fostering innovation, promoting sustainable development, and building inclusive societies. By recognizing and supporting the role of non-academic staff, governments and institutions can better harness their potential to contribute to positive social, economic, and environmental outcomes. By facilitating access to quality education, they help build the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to participate effectively in society and contribute to economic development. Unlike academic staff, whose work is more closely tied to research and teaching, the roles of non-academic staff, may not always be as directly connected to the core mission of the institution. This disconnect has led to several challenges that demotivate the work of non-teaching staffs. The purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which employee recognition strategy has influenced the performance of non-academic staff in the UOE, in Kenya. The study based on a quantitative research approach and underpinned by Maslow Theory of Motivation. The researcher used a correlational research design to establish the relationship between the study variables. The target population of this study comprised all the 208 permanent non-teaching staff in the university of Eldoret from which 137 were picked as sample size of the study Yamane formula. Stratified random sampling and simple random samplings were used to select respondents for the study. The study used structured self-administered questionnaires as its main primary data collection tool. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze data with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. Descriptive statistics included percentages, frequencies, mean and standard deviation. Inferentially, regression analysis was applied to get the changes in dependent variable caused by the influence of independent variables. Analyzed data was presented in form of tables, suitable graphs based on the APA format. The study results revealed that there was positive linear effect of influence of recognition on employee’s performance (β1=0.798, p=0.000 < 0.05). The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between recognition and performance of non-academic staff in the University of Eldoret.

The research aims to analyze the causes of operational risks in Islamic banking, as well as ways to overcome them. Using qualitative research and Maslow's motivation theory, this study concluded that human resources in Islamic banking come from various educational backgrounds. On the other hand, Islamic banking must also be able to manage its human resources so that it does not cause operational risks. So that these operational risks do not arise, it is necessary to reconstruct human resources by increasing the motivation of human resources.

Minat Mahasiswa Menjadi dan Tidak Menjadi Akuntan Publik

The aim of this research is to find out the factors that differentiate the interests of students of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Udayana University between those who wish and those who do not wish to engage in the public accounting profession based on Maslow's theory of motivation. The study used the census method with a sample of 262 students of the Udayana University Bachelor of Accounting Study Program who participated in the survey. Research data was collected using a questionnaire instrument based on Google Forms which was distributed via social media Line Group class 2015 to 2021. The data collected was then analyzed using discriminant analysis. The results showed that physiological needs and appreciation needs significantly differentiated students' interest in becoming and not becoming public accountants, while safety needs, social needs and self-actualization needs did not significantly differentiate students' interests in becoming and not becoming public accountants.

The Relationship Between Abraham Maslow's Theory of Learning Motivation and the Learning Motivation of FKIP Students of Nusa Cendana University

The goal is that students have motivation that is in line with the principles of learning motivation and can participate in every learning activity in theory and practice. The design used in the implementation of this research is Ex post facto. The method used is non-experimental quantitative. The instrument used in the form of a questionnaire aimed at collecting data on Abraham Maslow's motivation theory with the learning motivation of Physical Education Students consists of five aspects namely physiological needs, security needs, social needs, self-esteem needs, self-actualization needs which are independent variables or those that affect two aspects, namely learning activities in the classroom or the field and independent activities of students which are dependent or influenced variables. The sample in this study used simple random sampling. The research sample selected as many as 35 students of Semester II, IV and VI. The results of Abraham Maslow's theory of learning motivation with learning motivation of 35 Penjaskesrek students are in moderate qualifications with an average score of 162, in the interval (157 – 164), and the learning motivation of Penjaskesrek students lies in moderate qualifications with an average score. the average is 130, is in the interval (126 – 132). Thus, there is a significant influence between Abraham Maslow's theory of learning motivation and the learning motivation of Penjaskesrek FKIP students, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang in 2020. It appears that r count (0.609) is greater than r table (0.344), 0.609 > 0.344. The results showed that there was a positive and quite strong influence so that there was a relationship between Abraham Maslow's theory of learning motivation and the learning motivation of Penjaskesrek FKIP students, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang in 2022 of 0.609.

TEORI MOTIVASI ABRAHAM H. MASLOW DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM KEGIATAN BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

ABSTRACT
 One of the famous Motivation Theory is Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory which is also referred to as Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory or Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. Students' Mathematics Learning Achievement and Mathematics Learning Outcomes can be categorized as low, so a solution needs to be given by implying Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory. The research method used in this research is Literature Study, where the researcher analyzes Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory directly from Abraham H. Maslow's book entitled Motivation and Personality (translation of Achmad Fawaid and Maufur, the publisher of Cantrik Pustaka), then the researcher analyzes the impact of the theory. if it is implied in mathematics learning activities. Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory in the first stage can be applied in mathematics learning activities by providing food and drink to students, the second stage can be applied by making students safe in mathematics learning activities, the third stage can be applied by establishing communication between teachers and students, The fourth stage can be applied in a way that there is mutual respect between teachers and students and fellow students, and the fifth stage can be applied by providing opportunities for students to express opinions in discussion activities. By implying Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory can influence or improve students' Mathematics Learning Achievement and Mathematics Learning Outcomes.

Pengaruh Kecemasan Menghadapi Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan PT X di Kota Salatiga

This study aims to determine the effect of anxiety facing work termination on employee motivation at PT X Salatiga. The sample in this study amounted to 73 respondents who are still active employees working at PT X. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. Data collection uses a psychological scale that is the scale of work motivation based on Abraham Maslow's motivation theory and anxiety facing retirement scale based on the theory put forward by Oluseyi & Olufemi. The data used are primary data analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that anxiety facing work termination affects work motivation by 26.8% while the remaining 73.2% is influenced by other variables not examined. The researcher can then study based on age, position and also examine other variables that are factors of work motivation, for example marital status between married employees compared to employees who have not married, the length of service of employees in a company.

Entrepreneurial Success Perception on Business Sustainability for Micro Small Medium Entrepresis (MSME’s) in Wetlands

This study aims at examining the Entrepreneurial Success Perception (ESP) of Micro Small Medium Entrepresis (MSMEs) in Wetlands, and its role in the sustainability of MSME business based on fulfillment of lower level needs in Maslow's motivation theory. The study also seeks to understand the perceptions of MSME entrepreneurs about the success of their businesses in order to maintain them business. This study seeks to explore the phenomenon of continuing business although business indicators in general tend to be less explicit to observe. Data for this study was collected from 35 key informants whose willingness was based on snowball sampling and by observing as passive participants, semi-structured interviews, and with the help of open and closed question instruments. This research prioritized the emic perspective - with full attention to key informant perceptions. Miles and Huberman's phenomenological approach was used in this study. It was found that perceptions on entrepreneurial success for MSMEs in Wetlands affect persistence to maintain the continuity of MSME businesses in Handil Bhakti Barito Kuala region.

Does Money Motivate Employees? Empirical Study of Private and Public Financial Sector in Kazakhstan

Purpose: The paper analyzes the financial and non-financial factors impacting employees’ performance ofdifferent financial institutes currently operating in Kazakhstan.Methodology: The survey was conducted by using questionnaire with five-point Likert scale for assessing givenstatements regarding financial and non-financial motivators at the different organizational and demographiclevels for employees at the chosen financial institutes. Additionally was considered different perception ofmotivational factors within different demographic categories.Findings: This study proved sustainability Maslow theory of motivation and Herzberg’s motivation and hygienefactors at the workplace. Money still is the strongest and compulsory factor for employees, which can satisfyonly basic needs. But in isolation of other non-financial motivational factors money are not able to encouragestaff to do go beyond their duties and increase their productivity. Job security, internal relationship andtransparency were defined by interviewees as the most important non-financial motivation factors. Also there isan advantage of Corporation “B” which is Government public financial company over private bank – which isbank “A” is higher level of satisfaction of its employees with financial motivation.Research limitations: The study was limited by only two financial institutes study, meanwhile in Kazakhstanthere are 42 commercial banks.Practical implications: The paper analyzes the financial and non-financial factors impacting employees’performance of different financial institutes currently operating in Kazakhstan. The results can be used as avaluable feedback for improvement Strategic HR Policies in considered financial institutes and will be useful forthose who are interested in HR Management in Kazakhstan in general.

Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos jaunuolių savimonės raiškoje atsirandančios suicidinės mintys kaip pirminis galimo suicido komponentas. Nustatomas suicidinių minčių dažnumas pagal jaunuolių lytį ir socialines grupes, nurodomos suicidinių minčių priežastys. Jaunuolių suicidinių minčių dažnumas siejamas su patirta agresija šeimoje. Analizei pasirinktos trys agresijos formos – fizinė, psichologinė, nepriežiūra. Nagrinėjama, kaip skiriasi jaunuolių, patyrusių tėvų agresiją, ir jos nepatyrusių bei mažesnę agresijos patirtį turinčiųjų suicidinių minčių dažnumas.

An Experimental Study of Maslow's Deprivation-Domination Proposition

Students wrote essays designed to enhance recall of past attainment or past deprivation of belongingness-level needs. Essays affected subsequent goal-attainment ratings of esteem-level rather than belongingness-level goals and tended to affect rated intentions to pursue goals at all levels of Maslow's hierarchy. These data appear to support a somewhat modified version of Maslow's motivation theory.

From wishing to intending: differences in salience of positive versus negative consequences.

Goal ratings by 345 subjects in seven data samples supported a functional distinction between two types of positive incentive value, one based on approaching positive affect (positive-based value or PBV), the other on avoiding negative affect (negative-based value or NBV). Ratings of PBV were more related to ratings of earlier action-phases of motivation ("wishing"), whereas ratings of NBV tended to be more related to factors entailed in later action-phases ("urgency/priority" and "intention"). These findings and previous ones are consistent with the proposal that this distinction parallels distinctions in Maslow's motivation theory. If the parallel is accepted, the findings support predictions from Maslow's theory. Results also indicate that purportedly unidimensional rating scales of motivation can reflect more than one underlying attribute.

A Cross-Cultural Study of Maslow's Motivation Theory in Industry

This study assessed the utility of Maslow's Need Hierarchy Theory for the work setting. Specifically, the predictive utility of each of the five needs was measured in terms of work motivation ( viz. promotional aspirations and the amount of effort expended) for 278 economically active individuals from various cultural groups in South Africa. Only the promotional aspirations index was used, however, as the effort expended index was totally unreliable. The physiological, safety and security, and love and belongingness needs predicted promotional aspirations for the Black group, while only physiological needs predicted promotional aspirations for the Indian subjects. On the other hand promotional aspirations were not predicted significantly by any of the needs for the White group. It was concluded that the results for the Black and Indian samples may be consistent with their socioeconomic position, while the results obtained for the White group may be explained by their lack of interest in promotional aspirations. The need for utilizing alternative measures of work motivation and work performance, and possibly adhering to a different philosophy of science in future research was indicated.

A critical review of the application of Maslow's motivation theory in industry

The present article critically reviews the application of Maslow's motivational theory within the industrial situation. It is pointed out that although this theory is frequently applied in this context, its utility and applicability in such a situation has not been conclusively demonstrated on the basis of the research conducted. Furthermore, a distinction is drawn between studies assessing the applicability of this theory within the industrial situation, and those assessing its utility for industry. The need for further research, particularly to establish whether any relationship exists between the need for self actualization and productivity (i.e., the utility of the theory for the organization), it thus advanced. Finally, it is suggested that in terms of the criteria of the prediction and control of behaviour in organizations, this theory might not be adequate as a theory of work motivation.OpsommingDie toepassing van Maslow se motiveringsteorie binne die bedryfsituasie word hersien.
