Marriage is an agreement between men and women to form a family and continue their offspring. Generally marriage is done by adults who already have emotional, physical and other maturity. However, if the marriage is done still in childhood will be worrying. In addition, this is contrary to the Law no. 35 of 2014 on the amendment of Law no. 23 of 2002 on child protection. However, in Pemenang Barat Village, marriage of the child's age is common and is commonplace. The aims of this research are to know: (a) Why happened marriage of child age in Pemenang Barat Village and (b) What is the implication of marriage of child age in Pemenang Barat Village. The causes and implications of child marriage in the Pemenang Barat Village can be studied with socialist feminist theory. The concepts used as a guideline in this study is the concept of marriage, the concept of child age, and the concept of marriage of the child's age. Thus, this study uses ethnographic research methods that belong to qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and literature study. The results showed that the phenomenon of marriage of child aged in the Pemenang Barat Village is indeed a common thing, this is caused by several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, family factors, and factors of promiscuity. While the process of child marriage implementation is with the permission of the vice of village and KUA. The permit is authorized through a letter of marriage dispensation from KUA. Marital age of children will certainly have an impact on the men, as well as women who are more often experienced losses. The implications are the psychological implications, health, childcare patterns, and the economy.
