The Influence of Works Ethics and Dicipline on Employee Performance on PT. Pawbroker Malalayang of Manado City

This study has a mission to assess the impact of work ethics and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Pegadaian Malalayang Branch, Manado City. This study applied quantitative techniques, by applying the Multiple Linear Regression test. The study output indicates that work ethics partly has a positive and insubstantial effect on employee performance, while work discipline is partly able to have a positive and substantial impact on employee performance and together work ethics and discipline are able to have a positive and substantial effect on employee performance of PT Pegadaian Malalayang Branch Manado City. This study is expected to be a benchmark for employees of PT Pegadaian Malalayang Branch, Manado City so that in the future they can further improve their performance at work. These findings can also serve as a reference for further studies in studying the factors that can support the increase in employee performance in a company.

The Effect of Promotions and Buying Interest on Increasing Product Sales Volume at PT. Indosat TBK Manado Branch

The aim of this study is to ascertain how buying interest and promotions affect the volume of products sold at the PT. Indosat Tbk Manado Branch. The research approach makes use of quantitative techniques. 75,910 Indosat users in Manado City as of July 30, 2021, make up the study's population. Using the Slovin formula method, the author calculated the sample size, which came out to be 100 respondents. The regression equation is as follows, based on the research findings: Y = 2.140 + 0.417X1 + 0.378X2 + e. The t test computation's results indicate that there is a partial positive relationship between the Promotion variable (X1) and rising sales volume (Y). Partially contributing to the increase in sales volume (Y) is the Buying Interest variable (X2).

Analysis of the Influence of Money Market Experience on Pleasure and Brand Equity for Customers of PT. Pegadaian Malalayang Branch in Manado

The aim of this research is to explain the influence of money market experience which includes: accessibility, ease of doing business, executional excellence, personalized offering, staff engagement, value for money, and reputation on pleasure and the influence of pleasure on brand equity at PT Pegadaian Malalayang Manado branch. This type of research is quantitative research. Research variables include: accessibility, ease of doing business, executional excellence, personalized offering, staff engagement, value for money, and reputation as independent variables while the dependent BVR is pleasure and brand equity. The total research sample was 150 customers of PT Pegadaian Malalayang Manado branch. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this research show that simultaneously, all independent variables influence pleasure, and the pleasure variable influences brand equity. Partial testing shows that there are four hypotheses that have proven their influence on pleasure in the services of PT Pegadaian, Malalayang Manado branch. The four variables are: ease of doing business, executional excellence, staff engagement, and reputation. Meanwhile, three other variables, namely: accessibility, personalized offering, and value for money do not affect pleasure. Pleasure is a variable that has a significant influence on brand equity

The Influence of Price Discounts, Product Displays, and Product Quality on Impulsive Buying Behavior at Starbucks Coffee, Transmart Kawanua Manado Branch

One business place that not only serves coffee, but also various drinks and food is a coffee shop. In this modern era, coffee shops have become part of the lifestyle in big cities around the world, where they have become a comfortable place to relax and gather. This research aims to understand the influence of price cuts, product displays and product quality on impulse buying behavior at Starbucks Coffee Transmart Kawanua Manado branch. The research method used is quantitative with a sampling technique using random purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 Starbucks Coffee Transmart Kawanua Manado consumer respondents, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25.0 software. The research results show that price discounts, product displays and product quality simultaneously influence impulse buying behavior at Starbucks Coffee Transmart Kawanua Manado Branch. Partially, Price Discounts and Product Quality have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying behavior, while Product Display does not have a significant effect. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence impulse buying behavior in coffee shops, thereby providing valuable insights for marketing practitioners in managing promotional and sales strategies

Analysis of Management Accounting Information System Characteristics in Supporting Financial Performance Achievement at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Manado Branch Office

Management accounting information systems play a role in helping managers identify problems, resolve problems, and evaluate performance. This information refers to the process of continuous value improvement in increasing the value of either a product or service. This research aims to determine the characteristics of the management accounting information systems applied at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Manado Branch Office in supporting the achievement of financial performance. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research and reseach data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that the management accounting information owned by PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Manado Branch Office, namely information that has the characteristics of broad scope, timeliness, aggregation, and integration has been carried out will which really helps management manage existing information, especially in decision making and helps in improving financial performance for the better.

Religious Moderation Education Strategy at the Mualaf Assembly

This article describes the religious moderation education strategy and its implications at the Manado branch of the North Sulawesi Converts Association. The research that has been used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques in this research are through observation, interview, and documentation. The important finding of this article is that the strategy of Religious Moderation Education at the North Sulawesi Converts Assembly Manado City Branch departs from the discussion of research results and the theory of David Hunger and Thomas L Whelen, which has several stages in strategy: the first stage, Strategy Formulation, the second stage, Strategy Implementation, Strategy, and the third stage, Strategy Evaluation. The Implication of the Religious Moderation Education Strategy at the North Sulawesi Mualaf Council Manado City Branch is based on the discussion of research results and the theory of Fethullah Gulen, which has several stages in Moderation Education: the first stage, Golden Generation, the second stage, Love and Tolerance, and the third stage, Islam Rahmatan Lil Alamin.

Individual Characteristic and Organizational Influence on Employee Performance at Rural Bank PT. Prisma Dana Main Branch Manado

This study aims to examine the effect of individual characteristics variables and organizational characteristics variables on the performance of employees of PT. Prisma Dana Main Branch Manado. The stages of research methods in this study used quantitative research methods, where this is a scientific method to obtain valid data with the aim of discovering, proving and developing knowledge so that it can be used to understand, solve and anticipate problems in a particular field. In terms of type, this research is an explanatory research that explains the relationship between research variables, then determines the entire population of 32 which is used as a sample. The research design used is a type of survey research. The results showed that partially individual characteristics and organizational characteristics had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Prisma Dana Main Branch Manado and simultaneously, individual characteristics and organizational characteristics had a significant positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Prisma Dana Main Branch Manado.

Effect of Training and Career Development on Motivation and Employee Performance

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Training and Career Development on Employee Motivation and Performance at Airnav Indonesia Manado Branch Office. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all functional employees of AirNav Indonesia Manado Branch Office. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires, while secondary data is collected through literature study after reading various literature. The data analysis technique uses the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS software version 4. The findings of this study reveal that Training and Career Development has a positive and significant effect on motivation. Training and Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, whereas Career Development has no effect on Employee Performance. Meanwhile Motivation can mediates the effect of training and career development on employee performance.

Implementation of Accounting Treatment for Problem Loans based on PSAK No. 50, 60 and 71 at PT. Bank SulutGo Manado Branch

Non-performing loans are credit loans whose repayment experiences irregularities so that the percentage level of non-performing loans greatly influences banking income, can reduce the level of bank health or decrease expected profitability and can affect customer confidence. The aim of this research is to find out whether the accounting treatment for non-performing loans is based on PSAK No. 50, 60 and 71 at PT. Bank SulutGo Manado Branch. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection methods in this research are interviews and documentation. The research results show that PT. Bank SulutGo Manado Branch has implemented accounting treatment for non-performing loans based on PSAK No. 50, 60 and 71.

THE STRATEGY IN RETAINING GENERATION Z EMPLOYEES OF PT. BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK, BRANCH MANADO

Generation Z, the newest in the workplace shows different characteristics from the previous generation. Where, there is still lack of information regarding to retain Generation Z, makes it difficult to determining the most effective retention strategy for this generation. This study aims to analyze the retention strategy used by PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Branch Manado in retaining Generation Z employees in the workplace, assessed based on the company low turnover rate indicating the success of the strategy and retention practices implemented. This study used a qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique. This sample uses 3 Management and 5 Generation Z employees as the informants. Data collection was carried out by using in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and secondary data or triangulation were also conducted and act as validity test to complete this study. From the findings, there are 5 strategies used, such as: 1). Organizational Culture, 2). Technology Digital 3). Employer Branding, 4). Development, 5). Remuneration & Benefits as strategies and practices used to retain Generation Z employees in the workplace. The results obtained show that all succeed in motivating and determining Generation Z employees’ decision to retain at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Branch Manado. Evaluation of the Implementation of Article 23 Income Tax at PT. Taspen (Persero) Manado Branch Office

Income tax is important for the state because it is one of the largest revenues in the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN). Income tax article 23 is imposed on income derived from capital, service delivery, or gifts and awards, other than those that have been deducted with Article 21 income tax. Almost every company carries out rental activities from other parties for certain things that are needed to support its operational activities. and the service rental is the object of article 23 income tax. This study aims to determine the suitability between the application of calculation, deduction, deposit, and reporting of income tax article 23 at PT Taspen (Persero) Manado Branch Office with the applicable tax provisions. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with the aim of describing in writing the data obtained from interviews and documentation. The results obtained indicate that PT Taspen (Persero) Manado Branch Office has carried out tax obligations in terms of calculating, withholding, depositing and reporting income tax article 23 in accordance with applicable tax provisions.

The Impact of Management Policies during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period on Profitability Ratios at PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Manado Branch

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the economic and business sectors. One of the affected business sectors is the automotive sector. Indonesia's wholesale sales for new cars decreased by 48.3% during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic. This also has an impact on PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Manado Branch, which experienced a decline in sales and profits. The decline in sales and profits forced the company's management to adopt policies to maximize profits and maintain the continuity of the company during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of management policies during the Covid-19 pandemic on the profitability ratios at PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Manado Branch. The research object taken in this study is PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Manado Branch. The research method used is a qualitative method using profitability ratio analysis. The results of the study show that management policies during the Covid-19 pandemic succeeded in increasing the profitability ratio of PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Manado Branch.

The sales of Kartu Halo products in Branch Manado every month at 2018 have increased significantly, this is indicated by the average increased in customer base from early January to August in 2018 of 982 customers. The increase of customer base also inline with the economic growth of North Sulawesi by 6.49% Year on Year in 2018. With the increase in economic growth, the level of expenditure in the city of Manado also increases every month, spending in the non-food sector reaches 50.76% of total monthly expenditure. 30.26% are in the goods and services sector. In large and developing cities in Indonesia has the potential for growth and lifestyle changes in terms of telecommunications services needs. Shifting of consumers behavior from wired communication to wireless mobile communication makes companies competitive to providing the best services and products to make company revenue increased. In Telkomsel, the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) generated from Kartu Halo as a postpaid card product that contributed 3.68 times more than the ARPU Telkomsel prepaid product at the end of 2017. There are various methods by the company to increased revenue growth, one of them were increasing market share. To increase the market share can be increase the customer base with offering products according to the intended customer segment. The purpose of this studies were to find out how the segmentation of Kartu Halo customers in Branch Manado based on lifestyle activities, interests, and opinions from consumers. This research is classified as a type of explorative descriptive research whose data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires to 420 samples through social media of Kartu Halo product users at Branch Manado. The results of the questionnaire obtained valid and reliable results with a Chronbach's alpha value of 0.907. By using the two steps cluster of cluster analysis, the results of this study indicate that there are two clusters, namely the first cluster Experientials, which have Education and average income doing research, in choosing products, and running activities online. And the second cluster is Functionalist, who spends money on something important and has a high level of confidence.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the implementation of Islamic accounting based on PSAK no.101 and No.105 at Syariah Bank, Indonesia, Manado branch. The research method of this study is qualitative. The result indicated the implementation of Islamic accounting based on PSAK No. 101 and No. 105 at Syariah Bank, particularly in the financial statements, show the position of financial, income statement and other comprehensive income by the bank had been adjusted to the financial accounting standards in PSAK No. 101 and 105. This is evidenced based on the financial statement data that has been presented by the company and interview sources from several sources regarding Mudharabah Accounting.

Strategy Public Relations of PT Angkasa Pura I Increase Brand Awareness During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Public Relations of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Sam Ratulangi International Airport Manado sees the need for information for airport service users is increasing during the pandemic. Brand awareness is considered important for the company, especially at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado. Based on this background, this paper aims to find out how the Instagram @samratulangi_airport social media management strategy at the PT Angkasa Pura I office at Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado branch in increasing brand awareness during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this paper is qualitative with a descriptive research approach accompanied by netnographic research. Social media management strategies in order to increase brand awareness on Instagram on the @samratulangi_airport account during the pandemic include creating and maintaining content consistency to be interesting, unique, informative, has its own characteristics and is easily recognized by the public and is supported by other activations to increase engagement and followers. In addition to uploading headlines on the Instagram feed by using the _ features available on Instagram such as video reels, IG TV, highlights, and Instagram stories. EXPLORING DETERMINANT FACTORS THAT ENCOURAGE EFFECTIVENESS OF RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS (CASE STUDY AT BANK BRI, MANADO BRANCH)

This study aims to investigate: 1) recruitment process, 2) selection process, 3) implementation of recruitment and selection system, and 4) evaluation toward recruitment and selection activities at Bank BRI Manado branch. This bank is the main branch office in the city of Manado which covers units and cash offices in the city of Manado. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach, while the data collection methods are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation on the object of research. Data analysis techniques are triangulation, data reduction, data display and interpretive conclusion drawing based on the suitability between concept categorization and the results of data reduction in the field. The findings of this study indicate that in the case of Bank BRI Manado branch, there are at least three main factors that drive the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process, that are bank reputation, transparency in recruitment-selection activities, and the quality of interviews with candidates. These three main factors are believed to be able to produce competent bank employees who are positively committed to the company. A more detailed explanation of the implications of each factor is described in the discussion section of this article.

Customer Understanding of the Profit-Sharing Ratio at Muamalat Bank

This study aims to determine the customer understanding of the profit-sharing ratio at Muamalat Bank Branch Manado using a qualitative method. The data in this study were obtained through triangulation techniques consisting of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis method used includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The result showed that, generally, the customer understanding of the profit-sharing ratio of savings products at Bank Muamalat is still inadequate. Customers do not understand clearly and in detail savings products (names and types of the savings product). It caused customers not to get an explanation and product knowledge from the bank at the beginning of the account opening. In explaining his understanding of profit-sharing, the customer depends on his educational background and profession. Customer understanding can also be seen from the selected savings products where the main informant has prime savings while the regular informant chooses everyday savings. The implications for knowledge are sozialication role from the bank, educational and occupational backgrounds as factors that affect the level of customer understanding. For the bank to provide feedback as material for the improvement of the quality of banking services and products based on Islamic principles and competitive for its share

Why Non-Muslims Become Customers of Islamic Banking?

The growth of Islamic bank assets in North Sulawesi in December 2020 reached 23.44%, even though the non-Muslim population reached 61.53%. One Islamic Bank, Manado branch, has more non-Muslim customers than Muslim customers, so it is interesting to research. This research aims to reveal the factors that influence their decision to become customers of Islamic banks. The data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation to fourteen people consisting of non-Muslim customers of Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Indonesia Manado Branch. The analysis technique is through reduction and presentation of data to determine conclusions. The results of the study found. They become customers of Islamic banks because of the service, price/cost, product, facilities, references, and benefits. This research can be used as evaluation material and input for the Islamic banking industry.

Telephone Damage Analysis on Voice Control Unit (VCU) At Perum LPPNPI Manado Branch Office

Voice Communication Control System (VCCS) is a tool designed to make it easier for users to communicate voice by integrating all users (clients) and means of communication in one system and controlled using a control panel. VCCS is a voice switching device used in VHF A / G and Direct Speech communications. The benefit of using VCCS is that when the user makes flight communication it becomes easy because all frequencies and telephones are combined in a VCU (Voice Control Unit) so that the ATC desk/work desk is not filled with communication devices. In addition, to facilitate its use, the VCCS client control panel uses a touch screen system. AirNav Indonesia Manado Branch has a LESS brand VCCS equipment server manufactured by China. VCCS consists of two main parts, namely the server and client. The server is a processing center and control center for switching input and output, while the client or VCU (Voice Control Unit) is the device used by the user in VCCS operations. There are 7 VCUs at AirNav Indonesia Manado which are placed in the Tower room (3 VCU), APP room (3 VCU), and FSS Kompen room (1 VCU).
