In the new situation of economic globalization, state-owned enterprises face the dual pressures of fierce market competition and social responsibility. This article aims to comprehensively discuss the problems faced by modern state-owned enterprises in economic management and propose appropriate measures to solve them. Firstly, it analyzes the effects of competition pressure, internal mismanagement and social responsibility on the economic management of state-owned enterprises. Secondly, it emphasizes the importance of economic management for the competitiveness and long-term development of enterprises and its key role in the international market. Finally, possible ways to solve the economic management problems of modern state-owned enterprises through system innovation, strengthening internal management and raising awareness of social responsibility are suggested. A case study demonstrates the successful experience of a state-owned enterprise in economic management, which serves as a useful inspiration for other state-owned enterprises.

Innovative Strategies for Financial Investment Management Strategies of Enterprises in the New Era

With the in-depth development of economic globalization and the continuous emergence of new technologies, the importance of enterprise financial investment management strategy is becoming more and more prominent. The traditional financial investment management strategy can no longer meet the needs of enterprises in the new era and needs to be innovated with the times. For enterprises, the effectiveness and scientificity of financial investment management strategy will directly affect the competitiveness and long-term development of enterprises. Intelligent Evaluation of Innovative Enterprise Performance - Construction of BPNN Model based on Improved WOA Optimization

With the economic progress, the environment in which enterprises operation is becoming increasingly complex. Intelligent performance evaluation of innovative enterprises is of great significance for their own development. The traditional performance evaluation indicators of enterprises rely too much on their financial indicators, leading producers and operators to pay more attention to the short-term financial performance growth of the enterprise. The long-term development of enterprises is neglected, resulting in weak core competitiveness. Therefore, to better achieve the scientific evaluation of innovative enterprise performance, based on the innovative enterprise performance evaluation index system, an innovative enterprise performance intelligent evaluation model with the whale optimization algorithm optimized backpropagation neural network is constructed. For the shortcomings of the whale optimization algorithm in the operation, the wolf swarm algorithm isintroduced to optimize it. The experimental results show that the evaluation model based on the improved whale optimization backpropagation neural network proposed in the study has very small errors in the evaluation results of different samples, with no more than 3%. This indicates that the performance evaluation index system for innovative enterprises can objectively reflect enterprise performance. This evaluation model can offer a reasonable analysis of enterprise performance, providing reference for intelligent evaluation of innovative enterprise performance.

Impact of energy saving on the financial performance of industrial enterprises in China: An empirical analysis based on propensity score matching.

Does energy-saving have a positive effect on the long-term development of enterprises? To answer this question, this study uses the propensity score matching (PSM) method to determine the impact of enterprises completing energy-saving objectives on their financial performance based on data from an industrial enterprise database in China. The results show that industrial enterprises that have completed the energy-saving target have advantages in profitability, operational and financial indicators but have deficiencies in debt indicators, and there is no significant difference in the ratio of profits to cost and expense. The research results of high energy-consuming industry are the same as the overall sample of industrial enterprises in terms of operational and financial indicators, and debt ratio indicators. Nevertheless, energy saving has no significant impact on profit and ratio of profits to cost of high energy-consuming industry.

Economic Policy Uncertainty and Family Firm Innovation: Evidence From Listed Companies in China

With the advancement of China’s economic transformation, the impact of economic policy uncertainty on family firms has become increasingly significant. The “familism” of family firms makes them more motivated to maintain family harmony, pursue innovative activities, and the long-term development of enterprises when faced with economic policy uncertainty. In this paper, we employed the data of listed Chinese family firms from 2010 to 2018 to analyze the impact of economic policy uncertainty on family business innovation activities, analyze the inherent characteristics of family firm innovation, and find the path that enables the innovative activities of family firms and provides a valuable experience for the innovation of private enterprises in economic policy uncertainty. We provide evidence that economic policy uncertainty positively relates to family firm innovation. Moreover, the relationship is affected by factors such as directors’ executive background and access to state-owned equity. Further analysis indicates that economic policy uncertainty can promote family firms’ innovation activities by improving their risk-taking, internal capital market circulation, and reducing political connections.

Design of Distributed Human Resource Management System of Spark Framework Based on Fuzzy Clustering

The construction of human resource management system is a key part of enterprise management and control. A perfect human resource management system is conducive to the long-term development of enterprises. Aiming at improving the current situation of enterprise human resource management, a distributed human resource management system is proposed in this paper based on Spark framework. Aiming at the disadvantages of traditional k -means algorithm in processing massive data, such as low computational efficiency and high time complexity, an improved k -means algorithm based on Spark computing framework is proposed. Through the spatial location relationship with the cluster center, redundant calculation is reduced and the ability of processing massive data is improved for the system. Combined with the actual situation of the enterprise, the human resource management system architecture is designed by using Java EE human-computer interaction. The proposed system can achieve user management, employee information, attendance, evaluation, performance, salary, personnel change, and other business management. The experimental results demonstrate that the system can effectively reduce the time complexity of calculation and improve the system efficiency.

Sustainable battery supplier evaluation of new energy vehicles using a distributed linguistic outranking method considering bounded rational behavior

Due to policy promotion towards new energy vehicles, battery supplier evaluation, as a critical multi-faceted decision problem, is the foundation of the good quality of products or service and further long-term development of enterprises. Most of methods have been proposed to measure the performance of potential candidates from the sustainable dimension, but they may ignore resilient and smart criteria, i.e., risk resistance capacity and smart technologies application, relating to normal supply and product reliability. Additionally, prior studies mainly report on the priority of suppliers from perfect rationality of the decision maker, but they pay little attention to indifference and incomparability relations between suppliers and bounded rationality of the decision maker. Therefore, this paper proposes an outranking based multi-criteria behavioral decision making method, named as prospect theory-based distributed linguistic ORESTE method to portray three outranking relations, preference, indifference and incomparability, from the view of bounded rationality of the decision maker. This approach adopts linguistic distribution to reveal the uncertain preference along with good flexibility and adaptability. It is applied to the battery supplier selection in new energy vehicles enterprises. Comparative analysis indicates the availability and superiority and sensitivity analysis verifies its stability.

Can the exit threat of non-controlling major shareholders promote corporate innovation?

ABSTRACT Chinese listed companies recently come out a set of serious agency problems. For example, directors and controlling shareholders highly override company interests. Conventional governance methods such as introducing non-executive directors couldn't effectively solve this problem. The proposal of encouraging non-controlling major shareholders to actively participate in corporate decision-making becomes more popular nowadays. This paper studies the mechanism of non-controlling major shareholders’ exit threat on corporate innovation, and explore the impact of property rights and corporate life cycles on this mechanism. The result shows the exit threat of non-controlling major shareholders did not promote corporate innovation. This is mainly because major shareholders pursue short-term benefits and tend to support financial asset investment rather than R&D investment. Our research also come out that the inhibitory effect of the exit threat of non-controlling major shareholders on corporate innovation is more significant for non-state-owned and mature enterprises in China. This article finds Chinese capital market investors pay more attention to short-term interests and lack the long-term value investment awareness, which is not conducive to the long-term development of enterprises.

Replacing Management or Not: Contract Renegotiation to Prevent Double Moral Hazards of Venture Capital Investments

During the venture capital development, replacing the management work team or keeping up the status quo is a key strategy choice for venture capitalist and venture entrepreneur about the long-term development of enterprise and the control right transferring. In fact, the contract designing focuses on the distribution of cash flow to encourage both efforts in order to avoid double moral hazard, and the strategy behavior has similar effects according to the developing condition of venture enterprise. In this paper, we consider both contract design and strategic behavior, regarding this strategic behavior choice as a motivator and combining strategic behavior with financial instrument options. The main innovation is to redesign and optimize the contract based on dynamic perspective, which will analyze initial contract designed to motivate both sides’ effort if a venture enterprise is in good state, and then renegotiate whether to replace the management work team or keep up the status quo according to the venture enterprise’s development state in the process of venture investment cooperation. The paper also puts forward some conclusions: joint effort of both sides can be motivated through strategic behavior choice and then lead to increasing the overall value of the venture enterprise; after the venture enterprise has gained private benefits in the early stage, the venture capitalist needs to make appropriate assignments and demisability in benefits to remotivate the venture enterprise’s efforts, aiming to further balance venture enterprise’s private benefits and the earnings redistributed by venture capitalist.

Study on financial risk prediction of enterprises based on logistic regression

Financial risk has a great influence on the development of enterprises, and the prediction of financial risk can help enterprises to treat risks early. In order to realize the prediction of enterprise financial risk, find the risk as early as possible and make a response as soon as possible, according to the principle of predictability and reliability, this study selected 15 financial indicators from aspects of debt repayment level, profit level, operation level, growth level, and cash level, then predicted the risk by the logistic regression model, and analyzed the risk of 36 pairs of enterprises. The results showed that the model designed in this study had an accuracy rate of 91.67%, and the risk of a company was successfully predicted based on the financial situation of the company from 2018 to 2020, which verified the reliability of the method. Thus the model can effectively predict the financial risk of enterprises, and it can be further promoted and applied to ensure the long-term development of enterprises and establish a good market environment.

Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Sharing, and Innovation Performance: Evidence from the Chinese Construction Industry

Knowledge economy era is an era driven by innovation, mainly based on the input of intangible assets which plays decisive roles in the long-term development of enterprises. The product value of enterprises is largely determined by their intellectual capital. Therefore, as pillars of China’s economy, construction enterprises must strengthen their investments in intellectual capital, and to achieve competitiveness in the market, enterprises must share knowledge with the other members of their networks. This study explores the relationship among the intellectual capital, knowledge sharing, and innovation performance of construction enterprises and the mediating effect of knowledge sharing on the relationship between intellectual capital and innovation performance by using data collected from a questionnaire survey. These data are analyzed along with the aforementioned relationships by using SPSS and a structural equation model. The findings indicate that intellectual capital not only has a direct positive influence on the innovation performance of construction enterprises but also positively affects their innovation performance through knowledge sharing. This paper concludes by presenting its limitations and the implications of its findings.

Hybrid Development of Modern Enterprises

Long-term effective development of enterprises in the modern dynamic conditions, as a rule, provides the use of certain variants of integration or diversification growth. However, as research shows, in many cases it is advisable to choose a hybrid variant of such growth due to the formation of business structures by combining concrete business units of several enterprises. At the same time, enterprises whose business units are involved in the formation of hybrid structures can continue their normal functioning with other own business units, using the residual capabilities of business units that are part of the hybrid structure. With the help of comparative analysis, generalization and system approach in the work, variants of hybrid growth are highlighted and one of them is described for the tourist industry. The efficiency of the ski resort with the use of concentric growth strategies, concentric and conglomerate diversification, and hybrid growth are calculated. The results confirmed the effectiveness of hybrid growth for enterprises with insufficient financial resources and strategic opportunities and successful enterprises by integrating certain business units of one enterprise with specialized business units of other enterprises. The difficulties of using hybrid growth variants for enterprises of other industries are determined and recommendations for their solution are given.

Planning of business processes is one of the main reasons for the assessment of the market potential and managers often face, when planning, the environmental factors that can not be influenced. Realistic and quality assessment of market potential and sales forecasting in companies becomes not only a means of gaining competitive advantage, but also a necessary condition for long-term development and survival in the market. Knowledge of the potential market increases the efficiency of business operations. To this end, the theoretical, methodological and practical problems of assessment of market potential were analyzed. The need for this is all the more pronounced because of objective, reliable and valid assessment of the market potential is a prerequisite of business improvement and long-term development of enterprises. The aim was to explain the characteristics of the market potential as one of the primary market sizes in order to carry out its assessment. In this context, it was necessary to identify the main factors influencing the assessment of market potential. Results of the study showed that factors of macro and micro environment of the company, competition and purchasing power determine the market potential of edible oil in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the empirical part of the paper are applied most common methods of assessment of market potential.

The Dynamic Job Shop Scheduling Approach Based on Data-Driven Genetic Algorithm

Rapid development of the Internet of Things not only provides large amounts of data to the job-shop scheduling, but also proposes a great challenge for dynamic job shop scheduling. A dynamic job shop scheduling approach is proposed based on the data-driven genetic algorithm. Application examples suggest that this approach is correct, feasible and available.
