Han music and Han opera are not only unique forms of music and opera in the Hakka region but also represent the essence of Chinese musical culture. However, in today's era of rapid scientific and technological development, they have encountered survival challenges. We should re-examine their development process, understand their cultural value, and learn from others' experiences. By emphasizing the importance of educational inheritance, adjusting the objectives of music education in local normal colleges and universities, modifying the curriculum structure, developing new courses rich in Hakka local music characteristics, and enriching the content of vocal music teaching, we can better protect and inherit traditional Hakka music. Additionally, strengthening media publicity, enhancing educational outreach, and encouraging activities of folk music clubs are other effective channels to achieve this goal.
