The Influence of Principals' Leadership and Work Motivation on Teacher Performance in Middle Schools

This study aims to identify and describe (1) the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in junior high schools in Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency; (2) the influence of work motivation on teacher performance in junior high schools in Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency; (3) the influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation together on teacher performance at SMP Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency. This research is quantitative. This research was conducted at Muara Telang District Middle School, Banyuasin Regency, with 53 teachers as respondents. The data in this research was collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. Test the prerequisites for analysis using the normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test, as well as the simple linear regression technique t-test and multiple linear tests using the F test with the help of the Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Statistics Program version 25. The results of this research show that (1) there is an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance at SMP Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency; (2) there is an influence of work motivation on teacher performance in junior high schools in Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency; (3) there is an influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation together on teacher performance at SMP Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency.

Anti-disturbance Adaptive Cruise Control Method Based on H∞ Robust Controller with Optimized Safe Velocity and Following Time Headway

Abstract To alleviate driver workload, many vehicles are now equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC) systems. However, ACC performance can significantly deteriorate in real-world conditions due to disturbances such as sensor measurement errors, system uncertainties, and modeling errors. Therefore, an innovative anti-disturbance ACC method is proposed based on H∞ robust controller with optimized safe velocity and following time headway to overcome the above problems. Initially, we analyze the longitudinal following characteristics that are undergoing disturbances and establish the ACC system model. Then, the optimization models for the safe velocity and the following time headway during ACC are designed. Subsequently, based on H∞ theory, the design criterion of the H∞ robust controller for ACC is established by utilizing the linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, two typical experiment scenarios are given for hardware-in-the-loop simulation to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Electric trucks pantograph-catenary interaction condition monitoring method based on semantic segmentation network and linear fitting

Abstract The pantograph-catenary system (PCS) in dual-source electric trucks is crucial for maintaining a stable connection to the power grid, which directly impacts power quality. Ensuring reliable contact between the pantograph and catenary requires accurate detection of the contact point (CPT). However, existing CPT detection methods designed for trains are not well-suited for electric trucks due to differences in structural design. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a novel CPT detection method that integrates semantic segmentation and linear fitting techniques. Firstly, we introduce a lightweight Pantograph and Contact Line Segmentation Network (PCSN), which accurately extracts the regions of the pantograph and contact line. Secondly, a position correction algorithm combined with a least-squares linear fitting technique is employed to detect the CPT of electric trucks. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a detection error within ±5 pixels. In terms of processing speed, it reaches 76.9 FPS on an RTX 3080 GPU, 47.13 FPS on an Intel I9-12900 CPU, and 11.63 FPS on an embedded Jetson TX2 device.

Intelligent Model-Free Control for Power Line Inspection Robots: Tackling Input Time Delays with Data-Driven Solutions

This article presents an innovative approach to model-free adaptive control designed for power line inspection robots facing challenges with input time delays. The strategy begins by employing a compact-form dynamic linearization technique to transform the original system into a data-driven model. Subsequently, utilizing real-time input and output information, the system’s pseudo-partial derivatives are assessed online. Leveraging these assessment parameters, a weighted one-step prediction control mechanism is designed, and a compact-form dynamic linearization model-free adaptive control framework is established. Moreover, the research incorporates compression mapping to thoroughly confirm the convergence of the algorithm, thereby ensuring its stability. Ultimately, the effectiveness and practicality of this control method are substantiated through a series of simulation experiments, demonstrating its robust performance.

Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Pengalaman Belanja terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan pada Tokma Kondang

Tokma is a company operating in the retail sector. This research aims to analyze how much influence service quality and shopping experience have on customer satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative method, data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form to Tokma Kondang consumers. The data is then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques and the sampling method applied is Accidental Sampling using the Lemesshow formula to determine the number of samples. The number of samples was 120 visitors to Tokma Kondang. The results of this research show that service quality positively and significantly influences customer satisfaction by 7,001, the correlation coefficient of shopping experience on customer satisfaction shows an influence of 10,180, the correlation coefficient of service quality and shopping experience on customer satisfaction is 201,089 and analysis of service quality and shopping experience simultaneously influence customer satisfaction by 77.1%

Pengaruh Kesadaran Wajib Pajak, Kualitas Pelayanan Pajak dan Sanksi Pajak Terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak dalam Membayar Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor

Motor vehicle tax is one of the revenues that contribute greatly to economic growth in a country that is collected on the ownership of motorized vehicles. Although the number of motorized vehicles increases every year, in reality there are still many people who do not comply with the obligation to pay taxes. Taxpayer compliance is an important aspect in the government's efforts to increase local revenue. The purpose of this study is to determine taxpayer compliance in Batam City, as well as the impact of taxpayer awareness, quality and sanctions on taxpayer compliance. This research uses a descriptive type quantitative approach. The random sampling method is used by researchers to take samples by distributing questionnaires to the people of Batam City who own motorized vehicles. There are 100 respondents who have been determined by researchers based on calculations using the slovin formula using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that awareness and service quality have no significant effect on taxpayer compliance, while sanctions have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance.

Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan, Harga Serta Lokasi pada Kepuasan Pelanggan: Studi Pada Lbb Ganesha Operation Kota Pacitan

This research focuses on efforts to increase customer satisfaction at tutoring institutions, especially at LBB Ganesha Operation Pacitan City. The focus is to analyze the impact of service quality, price, also location on student satisfaction. The research method used was a quantitative approach, with 80 LBB Ganesha Operation students in Pacitan City as the sample selected using a purposive sampling method. Analysis was done using multiple linear regression techniques with SPSS 22 for Windows. The test results show service quality influences 0.315, price -0.111, also location 0.444. The F test value shows these three variables jointly influence student satisfaction (F count 67.532 > F table 2.72, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05). The t-test shows service quality also location have a significant partial influence on customer satisfaction (t count 3.551 also 4.819 respectively > t table 1.990). In contrast, price does not have a significant partial influence (t count -1.812 < t table 1.990). The coefficient of determination shows 71.6% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by service quality, price, also location, while the remaining 28.4% is influenced by other factors. It was concluded service quality also location had a positive also significant influence on student satisfaction at LBB Ganesha Operation Pacitan City, but the price did not have a significant influence.

Pengaruh Absensi Online “Talenta” dan Motivasi Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Karyawan PT Kia Karawang

This study was made to determine the extent of the attendance technology system and work motivation provided by PT KIA Karawang to its employees in improving employee discipline in it. The analysis used in this study is to use independent variables, namely the "Talent" attendance system and work motivation, and the dependent variable, namely work discipline. This research included 85 employees from PT KIA Karawang and utilized multiple linear regression testing, alongside validity, reliability, classical assumption, and hypothesis testing techniques. The findings revealed that the Talent attendance system and work motivation together significantly and positively affect work discipline. However, when examined individually, the Talent Attendance System did not impact Work Discipline, whereas work motivation did have a positive and significant effect on work discipline.

PENGARUH STRES KERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PEGAWAI DINAS PERTANIAN KOTA BIMA

This study aims to determine the Effect of Job Stress on Employee Job Satisfaction at the Bima City Agriculture Service. The approach used in the study is an associative approach. The population in the study was 102 people with a sample of 60 people. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data analysis technique used in this study was a simple linear regression analysis technique which was assisted by the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20 program. The results of the study showed that job stress had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Bima City Agriculture Service.

Analysis of the Influence of Direct Investment and Labor on Economic Growth in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the effect of investment and labor on economic growth in Indonesia. One of the factors that affects economic growth is foreign direct investment (FDI). In addition to FDI, labor also plays an important role in economic growth. This study uses secondary data in the form of a thirteen-year time series from 2010-2023, namely with direct investment variables (X1) and Labor (X2). The analysis method used is quantitative, using Multiple Linear Analysis Techniques with the help of the E-Views 9 program. The results of this study indicate that direct investment and labor variables have a significant positive impact on economic growth in Indonesia.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN TENAGA KERJA PADA SEKTOR PERTANIAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI SUMATERA BARAT

This study aims to determine the influence of income and labor in the agricultural sector on economic growth in West Sumatra Province in 2008-2023. This research is a field research with a quantitative approach. This study uses secondary data on income and labor in the agricultural sector of West Sumatra from 2008-2023. Data collection techniques using documentation and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis techniques. The results of the study prove that income in the agricultural sector has a positive and significant effect on West Sumatra's economic growth in 2008 – 2023. Labor in the agricultural sector has a positive and significant effect on West Sumatra's economic growth in 2008-2023. Simultaneously, income and labor in the agricultural sector have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of West Sumatra Province in 2008-2023. The R-Square value of 0.683 or 68.3 percent of the independent variables affected the dependent variables, while the rest were influenced by other variables that were not mentioned in this study.

Pengaruh Kualitas Produk dan Harga terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada Lelang Barang Bekas

This research aims to determine the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions at used goods auctions. The method in this research uses quantitative methods with a survey approach as the research design. The research population was all auction participants in Bekasi City, totaling 40 auction participants. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling method so that all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection in this research was carried out through the use of a questionnaire. For data analysis, various tests were carried out, including data quality tests (which include validity and reliability tests), classical assumption tests, and the application of multiple linear regression techniques, including the coefficient of determination test. The research results show that simultaneously and partially there is a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Pengaruh Rasio Profitabilitas dan Leverage terhadap Harga Saham pada perusahaan BUMN Periode 2019-2023

This research was designed as exploratory quantitative research which aims to determine the effect of profitability and leverage ratios on stock prices. The data used comes from the financial reports of state-owned companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2019-2023 period, with a sample size of 30 observations. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software. The research results show that simultaneously and partially there is a significant and positive influence between profitability and leverage ratios on share prices in state-owned companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period.

Efficient Implementation of Interior-Point Methods for Quantum Relative Entropy

Quantum relative entropy (QRE) programming is a recently popular and challenging class of convex optimization problems with significant applications in quantum computing and quantum information theory. We are interested in modern interior-point (IP) methods based on optimal self-concordant barriers for the QRE cone. A range of theoretical and numerical challenges associated with such barrier functions and the QRE cones have hindered the scalability of IP methods. To address these challenges, we propose a series of numerical and linear algebraic techniques and heuristics aimed at enhancing the efficiency of gradient and Hessian computations for the self-concordant barrier function, solving linear systems, and performing matrix-vector products. We also introduce and deliberate about some interesting concepts related to QRE such as symmetric quantum relative entropy. We design a two-phase method for performing facial reduction that can significantly improve the performance of QRE programming. Our new techniques have been implemented in the latest version (DDS 2.2) of the software package Domain-Driven Solver (DDS). In addition to handling QRE constraints, DDS accepts any combination of several other conic and nonconic convex constraints. Our comprehensive numerical experiments encompass several parts, including (1) a comparison of DDS 2.2 with Hypatia for the nearest correlation matrix problem, (2) using DDS 2.2 for combining QRE constraints with various other constraint types, and (3) calculating the key rate for quantum key distribution (QKD) channels and presenting results for several QKD protocols. Encoding manifolds constructed from grating responses organize responses to natural scenes in cortical visual areas.

We have created "encoding manifolds" to reveal the overall responses of a brain area to a variety of stimuli. Encoding manifolds organize response properties globally: each point on an encoding manifold is a neuron, and nearby neurons respond similarly to the stimulus ensemble in time. We previously found, using a large stimulus ensemble including optic flows, that encoding manifolds for the retina were highly clustered, with each cluster corresponding to a different ganglion cell type. In contrast, the topology of the V1 manifold was continuous. Now, using responses of individual neurons from the Allen Institute Visual Coding-Neuropixels dataset in the mouse, we infer encoding manifolds for V1 and for five higher cortical visual areas (VISam, VISal, VISpm, VISlm, and VISrl). We show here that the encoding manifold topology computed only from responses to various grating stimuli is also continuous, not only for V1 but also for the higher visual areas, with smooth coordinates spanning it that include, among others, orientation selectivity and firing-rate magnitude. Surprisingly, the encoding manifold for gratings also provides information about natural scene responses. To investigate whether neurons respond more strongly to gratings or natural scenes, we plot the log ratio of natural scene responses to grating responses (mean firing rates) on the encoding manifold. This reveals a global coordinate axis organizing neurons' preferences between these two stimuli. This coordinate is orthogonal (i.e., uncorrelated) to that organizing firing rate magnitudes in VISp. Analyzing layer responses, a preference for gratings is concentrated in layer 6, whereas preference for natural scenes tends to be higher in layers 2/3 and 4. We also find that preference for natural scenes dominates the responses of neurons that prefer low (0.02 cpd) and high (0.32 cpd) spatial frequencies, rather than intermediate ones (0.04 to 0.16 cpd). Conclusion: while gratings seem limited and natural scenes unconstrained, machine learning algorithms can reveal subtle relationships between them beyond linear techniques.

Optimizing Transportation Logistics for Cost Efficiency in a Garment Factory: A Linear Programming Approach Using LINDO

The garment industry in Bangladesh plays a pivotal role in the nation's economy, yet it faces significant challenges in optimizing transportation logistics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency. This paper uses linear programming techniques to negotiate the optimization of transportation logistics in a garment factory located in Gazipur, Bangladesh. The primary objective is to develop an optimized transportation plan that reduces costs while satisfying supply and demand constraints across multiple suppliers, production facilities, and distribution centers. The study formulates the transportation problem as a linear programming model and employs the simplex method to determine the optimal solution. LINDO software is utilized for model implementation and optimization. The model incorporates real data from the garment factory, including supply capacities, demand requirements, and transportation costs. Results from the LINDO optimization reveal a detailed transportation plan that minimizes total transportation costs, demonstrating significant cost savings compared to existing practices. The optimized plan improves operational efficiency and provides a robust decision-support tool for logistics managers. Sensitivity analysis is conducted to ensure the model's robustness under varying conditions. The methodologies and findings are scalable and adaptable to other industrial settings, offering valuable insights for enhancing logistical efficiency in the garment industry. The study also highlights potential areas for future research, including integrating environmental considerations and advanced optimization techniques. Through this research, the garment factory in Gazipur can achieve substantial cost reductions and operational improvements, enhancing its competitiveness in the global market.

Pengaruh Digital Marketing dan Promosi Penjualan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of digital marketing on purchasing decisions at TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya, (2) The influence of sales promotion on purchasing decisions at TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were consumers of TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya totaling 900 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 90 people. This data collection technique uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis technique used in testing the hypothesis is the multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study show that: (1) Digital marketing has a positive effect on purchasing decisions at the TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya of 82.6% and is proven by a sign value of 0.000<0.05, and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.448. (2) Sales promotion has a positive effect on purchasing decisions at the TWN Second Store Tasikmalaya of 74,0% and is proven by a sign value of 0.001<0.05, and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.279. (3) Digital marketing and sales promotions have a positive value and have a simultaneous influence on purchasing decisions at TWN Second Store of 84.4% and are proven by a sign value of 0.000<0.05.

The "4.3," A New Filler Lips Technique.

The "4.3" technique is a hybrid lip augmentation approach that combines the aesthetic benefits of the vertical-lip technique with the fewer entry points of the retrograde linear technique. This method aims to create natural-looking, harmonious, and defined lips using hyaluronic acid (HA)-based fillers, to enhance volume and contour. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and reproducibility of the "4.3" technique in achieving natural lip augmentation with minimal filler volume and reduced injections. This technique is applied to improve the shape and volume of the lips while minimizing the risk of complications. The technique was applied to male and female patients with standard anatomical features who desired subtle enhancements in lip contour, projection, and volume. The procedure involved four injections in the upper lip and three in the lower lip, using a combination of retrograde linear and vertical techniques. A total of 0.7 mL of HA filler were used for each patient. The "4.3" technique achieved consistent and aesthetically pleasing results across all patients, with improvements in lip volume, shape, and definition. The reduced number of injections minimized discomfort and risk of vascular complications. The use of Tri-Hyal technology contributed to smooth, plump lips with harmonious proportions. The "4.3" technique is a standardized, intuitive, and reproducible method suitable for most patients, regardless of sex. It allows for natural-looking lip augmentation using a reduced volume of filler and fewer injections, making it a safe and effective option for enhancing lip aesthetics.

Examining the relationship between social well-being levels of health personnel and their perception of gender roles: a university hospital example

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between the social well-being of healthcare professionals and their perception of gender roles. The correlational screening model was used in the research. The study group consisted of 247 healthcare professionals working in a university hospital. As a data collection tool in the research, the Social Well-Being Scale-Healthcare Professionals Version, Gender Roles Attitude Scale, and Demographic Data Form were used. Unrelated Samples t-test, One-Way Analysis of Variance, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. It was determined that the social well-being average of healthcare workers was 121.43 ± 24.46 and the gender role average was 99.48 ± 9.70. It was observed that the average social well-being of healthcare professionals differed at a statistically significant level according to family structure, length of service in the current institution, alcohol use, gender roles, gender, and profession (p < .05). As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between social well-being and gender roles. It was determined that gender roles, gender, length of service in the current institution and alcohol use status significantly predict social well-being.

Profit Quality, Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility And Company Values: Islamic Corporate Governance As Moderation

This study aims to analyze the effect of profit quality and Islamic corporate social responsibility (ICSR) on firm value moderated by Islamic corporate governance (ICG). This study uses a quantitative approach. The population used is all Islamic Commercial Banks (ICB) registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in 2018-2023. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 11 ICB samples. The data source used is secondary data in the form of documentation of each BUS's financial statements. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that profit quality negatively affects firm value. ICSR positively affects firm value. ICG is unable to moderate the relationship between profit quality and firm value. ICG is unable to moderate the relationship between ICSR and firm value. This study can complement existing theories and be a reference for future research. This study can also be a reference for ICB in increasing ICB value, especially regarding profit quality and ICSR.
