Design and Prototype Development of Augmented Reality in Reading Learning for Autism

(1) Background: Augmented reality is no less popular than virtual reality. This technology has begun to be used in education fields, one of which is special education. Merging the real and virtual worlds is the advantage of augmented reality. However, it needs special attention in making software for children with special needs, such as children with autism. This paper presents an application prototype by paying attention to the characteristics of autistic individuals according to the Autism Guide, that has existed in previous studies. (2) Method: The method used in the development of this prototype is the Linear Sequential Model. Application development is made using Unity3D, Vuforia, and Adobe Illustrator by considering accessibility and other conveniences for developers. (3) Results: The prototype was developed with reference to the Autism Guide, then validated by media experts and autistic experts with the results of the assessment obtaining a score of 87.3/100 which is in the “Very Good” category and is suitable for use. Web-Based Health Service Management Information System Development With The Linear Sequential Model Method

The clinic has several health facilities such as outpatient, inpatient, dental clinic, laboratory, family planning/MCH, pharmacy, and pharmacy. The system that has been made is tested using the black box texting method combined with the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) method to find out whether the system meets functional requirements and is by the design. Based on testing using the UAT method, the average value of 6 different indicators is 91%. Therefore it can be concluded that the web-based information system for this clinic has an easy-to-understand way of working and attractive features so that it can provide convenience in the patient treatment process and clinical managerial processes.

This study aimed to develop an Android-based control system that can be used to reinforce the students’ competence, particularly in the Electronic Control subject. The method used in this study was a linear sequential model that comprises analysis, design, coding, and testing. A total number of nine items of functional testing has been conducted, and the results revealed that the prototype control system could successfully react as designed. Nevertheless, the one that should be considered in the future study is the compatibility issue between the external controlled hardware and the smartphone.

This research process uses a linear sequential model method, starting from determining needs, analyzing needs and designing CDM and PDM for the next steps. Furthermore, the authors build and design a system using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah: (1)Membuat Virtual Reality 360o untuk Universitas Advent Indonesia. (2)Menyajikan gambar 360o Melalui website Universitas Advent Indonesia. Adapun kesimpulan dari Penelitian ini adalah: (1) Aplikasi Virtual Reality 360o dapat diimplementasikan kedalam website Universitas Advent Indonesia. (2) Aplikasi Virtual Reality 360o ini menarik, interaktif dan mudah digunakan sehingga memudahkan user untuk memperoleh informasi tentang lingkungan UNAI.
