THE REALITY OF THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP WHICH ARE BASED ON THE SOFT SKILLS FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF THE EDUCATION AND FORMATION WOMEN AND MEN- GUELMIM-OUED REGION MOROCCO AS A MODEL

Objectives: The primary objective of this study is to examine the implementation of educational leadership based on soft skills by leaders of educational institutions in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region of Morocco, as perceived by women and men in education and training. This inquiry is situated within the framework of transformational leadership outlined in the tenth commitment of the 2022/2026 Roadmap. Methods: Utilizing a descriptive analytical approach, the research involved administering a questionnaire covering eight domains related to soft skills: communication, time management, teamwork, planning, emotional intelligence, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 308 educators, both women and men, in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region. Data analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and a five-point Likert scale. Results: The findings indicate that the practice of educational leadership based on soft competencies is perceived as 'very high' in the areas of communication, leadership, and teamwork, with other domains registering as 'high'. Statistically significant differences were observed concerning the educational staff variable (teaching, administration), favoring teaching staff in communication skills. However, no statistically significant differences were observed based on gender or educational qualification levels. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of soft skills in educational leadership and recommends the adoption of quality standards based on these skills in both initial and continuous training of administrative staff. The study suggests integrating soft skills criteria into the evaluation of the performance of heads of educational institutions and task assignments to ensure effective leadership practices in the region's educational landscape.

The relevance of this article is determined by the necessity to ensure the competitiveness of educational institutions in the educational services market. Modern challenges require educational institutions to continuously improve their activities. Successful development of an educational institution is possible only through the integration of innovations that stimulate the achievement of its goals and contribute to improving the quality of education for students. This aligns with the interests of Ukrainian society, which, like any other developed society, is interested in a high level of educational services. With the growth of the educational services market and increasing competition, it is important for leaders of educational institutions to focus on searching for and implementing innovative management technologies to secure significant competitive advantages. Thus, the current market conditions and the need for competitive struggle highlight the importance of innovations for leaders, with innovative management technologies becoming key to achieving the goals of the educational institution and enhancing the quality of education. Objective: To analyze the readiness of future leaders of educational institutions to implement and apply innovative management technologies to enhance the competitiveness of their organizations in the educational services market. Methods: Study of scientific sources, legislative and normative-legal documents, surveys and interviews, case studies, SWOT analysis, expert assessments, and modeling. Results: During the study, the readiness of future educational institution leaders to implement innovative management technologies was evaluated; key barriers and challenges faced by future leaders, including limited resources, fear of change, and an insufficient level of knowledge about innovative technologies, were identified. At the same time, positive aspects were also discovered, namely a high level of motivation for learning and improvement, and readiness to introduce innovations to enhance the quality of education and adapt to modern labor market requirements. A comprehensive set of measures to increase the readiness of future leaders for innovation was developed and substantiated. This includes professional development programs, mentorship, and the creation of innovative educational spaces for experimentation and practical application of new approaches. The role of strategic planning in the successful implementation of innovative management technologies was also determined, which involves clear formulation of the mission, vision of the educational institution, as well as the development of specific goals and tasks to achieve defined results. Conclusions: This article examined the readiness of future educational institution leaders to apply innovative management technologies, which is crucial for enhancing competitiveness and the quality of educational services provided. The main barriers and challenges leaders may face when implementing innovations were identified, and methods to overcome these challenges were proposed. Special attention was given to the importance of a systematic approach and strategic planning in the process of adapting and implementing new practices in management. Developed and substantiated recommendations for focusing on innovative management practices include: enhancing the qualifications of future leaders, developing openness to change, and stimulating creativity and innovative thinking. It was determined that the successful implementation of innovative management technologies depends on a comprehensive approach that takes into account the specifics of the educational institution, the readiness of the staff for changes, and the presence of the necessary material and technical base. The findings of the study make it clear that innovative management technologies play a decisive role in forming an effective management model in modern educational institutions. Their implementation not only improves the quality of educational services but also ensures the sustainable development of educational organizations, meeting the challenges of the contemporary dynamic educational environment.

The Role of Madrasah Principal in Addressing Bullying Issues in Madrasah

Cases of bullying can occur at all levels of education from elementary to tertiary level. Bullying can cause mental damage to a person with severe social and psychological consequences, therefore especially madrasa heads as leaders in educational institutions and teachers and school staff must pay full attention to the problem of bullying. This research aims to determine the role of the madrasa head as the leader of an educational organization in overcoming the problem of bullying in marsah. This research was conducted at Mas Al Wasliyah 22 Tembung using a qualitative phenomenological research method. There were three participants who were selected and willing to become participants in this research, namely the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa for student affairs, and one of the Bk teachers. Data collection carried out in this research was interviews by recording audio with a cellphone, recording information provided by participants using writing tools and in the form of photo documentation during the interview. The form of bullying that occurs at Mas Al Wasliyah 22 Tembung is a form of verbal bullying, where verbal bullying is harsh or cruel words, insults or hate speech. Bullying that often occurs is between women. Overcoming the problem of bullying at Mas Al Wasliyah 22 Tembung is by bringing together the perpetrator and the victim and providing sanctions so that the bullying problem does not happen again. The role of the madrasa head in overcoming the problem of bullying at Mas Al Wasliyah 22 Tembung is providing outreach, training for teachers and staff or meetings between teachers and staff, anti-bullying policies, supervision and monitoring, responding to reports relating to student problems such as bullying, building a climate positive school, encouraging student participation, and communicating with students' parents and seeing the plans they have made and discussing, measures of effectiveness that have been implemented.

Urgensi Penerapan Dasar-Dasar Kepemimpinan Al-Qur’an di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Leaders in educational institutions play a crucial role in achieving goals; however in reality, leaders who hinder the goal attainment process with unethical behaviors such as corruption and persecution are still prevalent. Therefore, implementing the leadership principles found in the Qur'an is a crucial key for educational leaders to efficiently fulfill their tasks. The aims of this study is to clarify the basic principles of the leadership of the Qur'an, including the definition and urgency of its implementation in Islamic educational institutions. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is used in this research, which is to collect and analyze data from a variety of literature, including books, journal articles, and other related sources. This is the conclusion of this study: 1) There are various terms of leadership in the Qur'an, such as caliphs, priests, ulil amri, qawwam, sultan, malik, and za'im. In Islam, the ideal leader is someone who overlooks the character of the Prophet SAW and conducts his leadership by obeying the principles of the Quran leadership. 2) Applying the basics of the Quran leadership is essential to form a religious leader who is fearful, responsible, integrity, justice, and caring for his subjects. Thus, this leadership can support the Islamic educational institutions in achieving their goals efficiently and effectively.

Leadership Strategies in Improving the Effectiveness of Educational Programs in Nurul Jadid Student Dormitory

Educational institutions play a crucial role in the preparation of quality human resources. The success of education is measured through the achievement of its goals and effectiveness. Successful education achieves goals with results as planned. Effective leadership in educational institutions can increase the effectiveness of educational programs. This study aims to analyze the leadership strategy of the dormitory head in improving the effectiveness of educational programs at the Nurul Jadid Student Dormitory. This research uses a qualitative approach with primary data from interviews and observations and secondary data from reports and documentation. The main informants are the head of the dormitory and the dormitory administrator. The analysis focused on the leadership strategy of the head of the dormitory to support the effectiveness of the education program. The results showed that the head of the dormitory implemented strategies to improve the effectiveness of the education program. One of them is involving experts in various fields in religious activities, such as Koran guidance, book recitation, and seminars. The presence of experts aims to improve the quality of education and provide deep insight. In addition, the head of the dormitory established a partnership with the head of the boarding school to strengthen the religious aspects of students.

MANAJEMEN KONFLIK

Conflict in the world of education is an unavoidable phenomenon and can have a significant impact on learning success. Therefore, conflict management is a critical aspect in creating a positive and effective learning environment. This research discusses the sources of conflict as well as the basic concepts of conflict management and applies them in an educational context. This research uses a library method by collecting sources from journals and scientific papers. One solution that is quite efficient for increasing productivity in educational institutions is to manage conflict. The ability of educational institution leaders to handle conflict well depends on their ability to combine various existing approaches, such as validating incoming news, discussions, negotiations, looking for mediators (judges), making peace, and others. Therefore, to ensure that efforts to improve the quality of work continue to be implemented optimally, leaders of educational institutions should always strive to continue to improve their skills, knowledge and innovation in managing conflict.

Faculty engagement, quality of work-life, organizational commitment and spiritual leadership – examining the mediation and moderation effects

PurposeBased on positive organizational scholarship, this study aims to examine the role of faculty engagement in mediating the relationship between quality of work-life (QWL) and organizational commitment. The paper also analyses how spiritual leadership moderates the relationship between QWL and faculty engagement.Design/methodology/approachThe data was collected through structured questionnaires from undergraduate and postgraduate teachers working in various business schools across major cities in India. The sample was selected through the snowball sampling technique. The sample size was 486, and analysis was done through the structural equation modelling approach using the bootstrapping method.FindingsFindings indicate that faculty engagement mediates the relationship between QWL and organizational commitment among teachers. Furthermore, results show that educational institutions that practice spiritual leadership support higher positive psychological and emotional states of engagement.Research limitations/implicationsThe paper provides an integrated model of engagement, commitment and QWL through a study of mediation and moderation effects and adds value to the psychology and workplace spirituality literature. There is the future scope for further generalizations of the model in different geographical contexts to analyse the influence of other leadership styles.Practical implicationsFurthermore, it would help educational institutions to design QWL strategies for engaging teachers psychologically, emotionally and cognitively by accelerating employees’ positive emotions and behaviours. Finally, the paper shows implications for developing the QWL strategies to create a committed and engaged workforce through spiritual leadership.Originality/valueThe paper contributes to the academic literature by investigating interrelationships among variables from a positive organizational scholarship perspective. The paper would help practitioners to comprehend the importance of spiritual leadership in educational institutions.

EFL Teachers’ Perceived Efficacy of Digital Platforms in Varied Online English Classes in a Higher Education

As the Covid-19 pandemic progressed, such measures disrupted schools and universities. Leaders of educational institutions identified online learning as the best option for students and teachers to continue their education when they were unable to attend school. Although EFL students' and teachers’ attitudes toward online learning were much discussed in the context of higher education, little evidence addresses how EFL teachers practice digital platforms in various EFL programs. This study aimed to investigate numerous digital platforms utilized by EFL teachers for online learning and the purposes in using those platforms. It also tried to find out the most frequently used platforms during the pandemic. Using a qualitative approach, this study involved ten EFL teachers from the English Education Program and non-English Education Programs (General English and ESP) of all faculties in a state Islamic institute in Indonesia. Through a closed and open questionnaire, this study found that all EFL teachers combined multiple digital platforms (the college’s e-learning platform developed from Moodle, WhatsApp group, YouTube, Google Form, Google Meet, Zoom meeting, Google Drive, Socrative, and Quizziz) for various purposes in online classroom activities. In addition, college’s e-learning platform developed from Moodle, WhatsApp group, and YouTube were found to be the most frequently used due to the benefits for online learning. In light of these findings, a discussion of the research implications for institutions of higher education and potential future researchers is presented.

Leadership and the Relevance of Visionary Leadership Models for Religious Education in Indonesia

This study reviews the literature related to visionary leadership models in religious education in Indonesia, The leaders of educational institutions have a very important role in building a better future and in a directed manner because they can formulate the vision and mission of school education, so that all members including students and parents in this case can understand and commit to the goals of the educational institution. In terms of leadership, it is known that there are several leadership models, and one model that is often applied in the educational environment is the visionary leadership model, a leadership style that aims to provide direction and meaning to the work to be done by members of the organization and visionary leaders have imaginative, innovative, strategic thinking and love change.

Leaders, Managers and Leadership, in Educational Institutions

There are three factors that influence the quality of education not to increase evenly. First, national education policies and implementation are not implemented consistently. Second, the administration of education has long used a centralized system. Third, the participation of the community, especially parents, in implementing education is very minimal. The third factor above focuses on leadership factors, behind the success of an educational institution, there is an important role of individuals who hold leadership roles. Qualitative research was used in this research. The method used in this research is the library research method which is carried out by collecting data from books, journals and articles. Leaders in educational institutions have a very important role in creating an environment conducive to learning. They must be able to plan educational strategies, manage resources, inspire teachers and students, and establish relationships with all educational stakeholders. Leadership functions in educational institutions include planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating.

The Role of the Headmaster in Establishing Exemplary Schools

This research analyzes the character of the madrasah principal in leading educational institutions. The objective of this study is to elucidate the significance of a madrasah head's virtuous character as a leader, which undoubtedly influences the persons and institutions under their guidance. This study is a qualitative case investigation conducted at a Madrasah located in Kartasura during the year 2022. Employing the interview technique with the headmaster, two educators, two parental figures of students, and observation. Triangulation is employed to verify the accuracy of the data by juxtaposing it with interviews and observations. This study employed interactive analysis. The findings of this investigation: The head of Madrasah embodies the qualities of uswatun hasanah, which include adherence to instructions, democratic leadership, and recognising teachers as individuals with their own capabilities. They possess excellent listening and speaking skills, empathy towards others, and the ability to make sound judgements. The term used to refer to this character is "nguwongke". Recommendations in this study propose that leaders of educational institutions should strive to establish efficient two-way communication by minimising mutual blame and adopting an attitude of mutual evaluation. Additionally, it is advised that leaders raise awareness among all stakeholders of educational institutions regarding the importance of frequently recognising and rewarding staff and subordinates. The character embodying the principles of the madrasah is characterised by democratic objectivity, serving as a role model, doing what they preach, making intelligent decisions, being attentive to others, and possessing effective communication skills. This character possesses the capability to cultivate self-leadership.

MODELS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP QUALITIES IN STUDENT YOUTH: DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN EXPERIENC

The article reveals the topical problem of shaping the leadership qualities in student youth, educating potential leaders who can quickly and purposefully integrate into society, solve social and industrial issues and manage groups and innovative projects. It has emphasised the relevance of the problem of modelling the development of youth leadership and the study and adaptation of domestic and international experience in this area. It has been defined that the vast majority of existing conceptual approaches concern the leadership of adults, skilled professionals, and the business sphere. The purpose of the article is to review the conceptual ideas and theories that form the basis of models for the formation of leadership qualities in student youth, as well as identification of the work system for training leaders in educational institutions of various levels. The study uses the methods of substantive, retrospective, comparative and definitional analysis, synthesis of principal ideas regarding youth leadership development, as well as generalization and specification of the best experience of modelling the formation of leadership qualities in student youth. Current theories underlying the investigation of the youth leadership phenomenon have been considered, among which are the Trait Theory and the Great Person Theory, Theories of resonant, proactive, emotional, charismatic, democratic, transformational, situational, participative, servant leadership, and whatever. It has been found out that all existing programs for effective leader development are based on a single humanistic concept that a leader is, first of all, an individual who, guided primarily by higher spiritual needs, strives for self-realization. It has been claimed that leadership qualities include both individual and psychological personality traits, as well as those which determine productive relationships arising in the group interaction process. Several psychological, pedagogical and complex models for the formation of leadership qualities in student youth, developed in Ukraine and abroad, have been revealed. The models presented in the article are based on the author’s concepts, which, at the same time, have common features in the organization of purposeful training and self-study of pupils / students to develop so-called soft skills in them, the formation of leader attitude, leader competency, leader behaviour and teamwork experience. The peculiarities of educational disciplines, classroom and extracurricular work, student self-government and socially and energetic civil activities during the formation of leadership qualities in student youth at the level of an educational institution have been characterized. Examples of the development of youth leadership by organizations at the regional, all-Ukrainian, and international levels have been given. It has been pointed out that most models of leadership development have several common features, namely: a) emphasis on both academic knowledge and personal development of leadership qualities of pupils / students; b) ensuring a high level of interaction in the “teacher-student” and “student-student” systems; c) experiential learning; d) reflective learning; e) collaborative learning; e) creation of a comfortable and emotionally rich educational environment; f) activation of study and cognitive activities of pupils/students via project activities and networking; g) operating the mutual evaluation and feedback. It has been concluded that each of the analysed models of leadership formation provides students with valuable opportunities to shape leadership skills and apply them in the real world, increasing their personal and professional development.

Job Satisfaction among Vocational High School Teachers by Demographics Factors In Educational Institutions

Objective: Job satisfaction is an essential factor that needs attention from leaders in educational institutions. If teachers in educational institutions have job satisfaction, this will impact their job performance. This study analyzes job satisfaction from demographic factors of age, gender, tenure, and marital status of vocational high school teachers in Surabaya. Method: This study used quantitative methods. This research was conducted in educational institutions, especially in vocational high schools. The subjects of this study used 160 vocational high school teachers in Surabaya. The sampling technique used convenience. The data analysis technique used an independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in job satisfaction by demographic elements consisting of age, tenure, gender, and marital status. Results: The results of this study indicate that teachers who are more than 35 years of age have higher satisfaction, teachers who have more than five years of tenure have higher job satisfaction, female teachers have higher job satisfaction than male teachers, and married teachers have higher job satisfaction than unmarried teachers. Novelty: Previous research has studied the impact of job satisfaction, but to researchers' knowledge, more research is needed to study job satisfaction from demographic factors in vocational high school teachers. Therefore, this topic is interesting to study, considering that demographic factors are a point of view that is rarely used to study individual variables.

Key Elements for E-Learning Success in the Context of the Coronavirus Crisis

Using the Analytical Multi-Criteria Hierarchy (AHP) approach and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), this article seeks to discover crucial success criteria for e-learning during COVID-19 in order to enhance process education. Based on established assessment criteria and multi-channel e-learning methodologies, data was gathered by interviewing 69 e-learning leaders in educational institutions during COVID-19. We discovered that managing technology, assisting management, educating students about the usage of the e-learning platform, and requiring a high level of information technology exchange from the lecturer are all important. Universities, staff, and students have had the biggest influence on online learning during COVID-19. The most useful of the five learning models is blended learning. These findings show that e-learning preparation plays a significant impact in boosting the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic, regardless of the specific technology used by an educational institution.

THE ROLE OF LEADERS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN INCREASING THE QUALITY OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MADRASAH

It is sunatullah that humans are born to be leaders on this earth. A leader acts to change and influence others more than other people's actions affect him. Leaders of educational institutions seek to carry out activities ranging from creativity and innovation to building educational programs such as curriculum improvements, educational quality standards, and resource development programs, both human resources and educational natural resources with a continuous development pattern. The role of leaders in Islamic Education Institutions in improving quality can be done with a systemic thinking pattern by analyzing the parts of the system to then find out the pattern of relationships contained in each element that make up the system. Thinking systems will bring up a professional, transparent and accountable attitude as well as having fatonah, siddig, amanah and tabliq properties which will eventually become a work culture of institutional leaders so that whoever is the leader in the Islamic Education Institution, with the development of this system thinking approach pattern will always improve get the quality of Islamic Education in Madrasas. This paper aims to analyze and describe the role of educational institution leaders in improving the quality of Islamic Education in Madrasas. The method of making this paper is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using library studies taken from various national articles, trusted journals, and both domestic and foreign journals which were then analyzed by collecting, processing, reducing, and verifying all data and information and concluding them.

Strategy Islamic Education in Indonesia Facing the Era of Society

Islamic education today is facing challenges in welcoming the era of society 5.0. The challenge in the era of society 5.0 is to focus on increasing human resources because the era of society 5.0 places humans as the main component. In order to always exist and be able to face the era of society, the management of Islamic education is very important. This research is a literature study that interprets data by descriptive analysis. This study aims to see and examine the problems and challenges as well as the strategies used in the management of Islamic education to face the era of society 5.0. The results of the study show that the problems and challenges of Islamic education management related to human resources are still lacking in sufficient resources and there are main competencies that must be owned by individuals, namely:creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.The Islamic education management strategy in facing the era of society 5.0 is by preparing human resources who have digital capabilities and are innovative and creative thinkers; change paradigm educational institutions; as well as preparing leaders of educational institutions who have a leadership spirit and are able to collaborate so that the demands for life skills in the 21st century are met.

Leadership Qualities Among Women Leaders in Educational Institutions at Bangalore City

Purpose: First, it seeks to investigate the factors that influence women's leadership traits within academic institutions located in Bangalore. Second, it aims to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving role of women in leadership positions within modern society.
 
 Design/Methodology/Approach: To achieve its objectives, this study employs a qualitative research approach. Researchers conduct interviews and surveys within academic institutions in Bangalore. By gathering and analyzing this data, they intend to uncover key themes and patterns that shed light on the factors impacting women's leadership traits.
 
 Findings: The findings of this research reveal several noteworthy insights. It becomes evident that women's leadership traits are significantly influenced by societal perceptions and economic circumstances. Furthermore, the progression of women in their professional lives has played a crucial role in altering societal views. The study also acknowledges the importance of India's long-standing policy efforts to promote women's development. Additionally, it highlights the remarkable achievements of women in various fields, including academia and athletics.
 
 Research, Practical & Social implications: In terms of implications, this study carries significance on multiple fronts. From a research standpoint, it offers valuable insights into the factors that shape women's leadership roles within academic institutions. Practically, the findings can inform strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting and enhancing women's leadership within the educational sector. On a broader social level, the study underscores the evolving role of women in Indian society, emphasizing the importance of gender equality as a key societal value.

Teacher’s Creativity in The Vuca Era: A Systematic Literature Review Using Bibliometric Analysis

In VUCA era, teachers’ creativity becomes crucial to help students overcome the surrounding rapid and complex changes. A creative teacher can create flexible, innovative, and responsive teaching methods responding to students’ needs to face the unpredictable and unstable environment. Teachers’ creativity also allows students to develop their critical, creative, and analytical way of thinking, along with teamwork and communication skill. Teacher creativity is so important that it is necessary to study how teacher creativity is viewed from the last five years research results, to provide a real understanding and follow-up in escalating teacher creativity. This systematic literature review is aimed to review research results related to the topic of teacher creativity. A systematic review protocol was designed and implemented in a systematic literature search procedure that was carried out on three data-based electronic platforms namely Sciencedirect, Emerald, and Springer Link. The literature selection protocol used the PRISMA method. The results of the literature study showed that the last five years’ research on teacher creativity is related to technology, STEAM, self-efficacy, educational environment, creative disposition, creative thinking, student motivation, and interest. Collaboration from related parties is needed in creating teachers who are creative in teaching. Teachers must be open to technological developments and leaders of educational institutions must be able to create a creative and innovative environment so that teachers can confidently develop their creativity which will effectively create challenging and innovative learning experiences for students.

This article based on previous research on the concept of public relations, public relations management, public relations management functions, and public relations leadership in educational institutions which identified that educational institutions needed efforts to combine social interests with promotion and marketing approaches. Combining these two interests is what makes educational institutions their own characteristics. Because of that, techniques and ways to manage information that are professional, efficient and effective to the public are needed. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the form of research is library research. Data collection techniques using documentation that traces from various kinds of literature and data analysis using critical analysis of research documents. The results shown in this study are an increase in student learning outcomes by applying various public relations concepts, management, functions, and leadership in educational institutions

The purpose of this research is to find out the educational leadership model of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq. The method used in this study is the literary method using primary data that is directly related to the figure of Abu Bakar Ash-Shidiq, especially the book 'Abqariyah Ash-Shiddiq written by Abbas Mahmud 'Aqqad supported by secondary data related to leadership theories. The results of the study found that the characters of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq include loyalty to leaders, having a wise attitude, being fair, having determination and strength, having determination and azzam, supervising and caring, and having a sense of humanity and compassion. While the application in education related to the character of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq can be described in terms of being fair in educating, wise in educating, loyal to leaders in educational institutions, having compassion in educating, supervising and caring in educating, having determination in educating, and having strong determination in education. The conclusion of this study is that the character of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq is the character of a successful leader in fostering and educating his people.
