This paper proposes a <emphasis emphasistype="italic">hybrid one-cycle controller</emphasis> that presents a smooth mode transition inside one mains half-cycle. One-cycle control technique presents advantages such as operation with unity power factor (PF), large-signal stability, noise immunity, low cost, and simplicity. The proposed strategy allows operation in a large power range. </para>
