Analysis of Optimization Waena Terminal Infrastructure, Jayapura City

A terminal is a part of land transportation which is the node point for various land transportation facilities (modes). The Waena Terminal has been equipped with terminal facilities and complementary buildings, but has not been used optimally, and even looks dirty and unkempt. This research aims to analyze the condition of the infrastructure, utilization and maintenance of the Waena Terminal. This research was conducted in Jayapura City, precisely at the Waena Public Transport Terminal which is administratively part of the Jayapura Municipal government area. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The research results show that the physical infrastructure at Waena Terminal is very complete when viewed against the standards set by the government. However, in terms of soft infrastructure, the Waena terminal has not been fulfilled, namely there is no terminal management by the related parties. The use and maintenance of the Waena Terminal has not gone well because it appears there is no terminal management.

The Geometric Redesign of Horizontal Curved Using AutoCAD Civil 3D®: A Case Jalan Garuda – Jalan Moh. Hatta, Tasikmalaya West Java

Highways are needed because they are the most widely used transportation infrastructure to support the economy and daily human activities that function to pass traffic on it quickly, safely, and comfortably. In today's world of rapid digital improvement, road planning using AutoCAD Civil 3D® results in a more efficient, accurate, and time-saving road planning process than road planning using manual methods. The horizontal alignment of the road determines the location of the road in question. The horizontal alignment has three geometric components: tangent, curve, and transition between straight line and arch. The purpose of writing this paper is to plan the geometric road on the North Ring Road section Jalan Garuda - Jalan Moh. Hatta in the northern area of Tasikmalaya, West Java. The road is planned to add land transportation facilities and connect the Cibeureum District - Cipedes District. The length of the road section is 1016 m or 1,016 km (STA 0+000 – STA 1+016.79).

FACTORS CAUSED ROAD DAMAGE BANDA ACEH - MEDAN STA 481+000 - STA 483+000

Roads are land transportation facilities that are very important in facilitating economic relations activities, both between one city and another. Good road conditions will facilitate the movement of people in relationships and other social activities. Meanwhile, if there is road damage, it will not only hinder economic and social activities, but accidents can occur. Many factors cause road damage, including weather, weather on the road surface when it rains, scorching heat in the dry season, average daily traffic volume (LHR), and vehicles that have a number of loads or overloads (Overloading). From the results of the study, the dominant type of damage on the Banda Aceh-Medan road STA 481+000-STA 483+000 sorted from the largest to the smallest percentage is Alligator Cracking, the second is Longitudinal Cracks, the third is Longitudinal Cracks. Analysis of Pillar Foundations and Abutments in The Batu Rasang-Mambulu Village Bridge Project Tambelengan District Sampang Regency

Today, land transportation is growing and advancing rapidly. As a developing country, of course, Indonesia will always follow technological developments in the field of land transportation, for example implementing policies in improving land transportation facilities, as well as increasing new transportation. Given the importance of land transportation which plays a role in crossing routes from one village to another, a bridge was built. However, the construction of a bridge must be considered carefully, so that the bridge can provide benefits as expected, without compromising the safety element of road users and the bridge itself. This is because bridges play an important role in people's lives. The results of the research on the Batu Rasang-Mambulu village bridge project, Tambelengan District, Sampang Regency, from the analysis of the calculation of the pillar and abutment foundation calculations obtained a total Q > W/M of 1042.31 > 7.14. For the P value of the pile < P permission of 27.54 < 28.43, it was obtained from the sondir test results based on the characteristics of the soil in determining the bearing capacity of the soil.

ANALISIS OPTOMALISASI INFRASTRUKTUR TERMINAL WAENA KOTAMADYA JAYAPURA

Regional planning must be planned in a comprehensive, sustainable, based on environmental and local cultural aspects, in order to accommodate all aspects of life. Population growth should be followed by an increase in housing infrastructure, transportation, education, health and other social infrastructure. Land transportation is the most important aspect to support economic activities and community social activities. Terminal is part of land transportation which is the node of various land transportation facilities (modes). Waena Terminal has been equipped with terminal facilities and complementary buildings, but it has not been fully functional, it even looks shabby and not well maintained. This study aims to analyze the condition of infrastructure, utilization and maintenance of Waena Terminal. This research was conducted in Jayapura City, precisely at the Waena Public Transport Terminal which is administratively the government area of the Jayapura Municipality. Observations were made covering the completeness of infrastructure, terminal activities, infrastructure conditions and terminal environmental conditions. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the completeness of the physical infrastructure at the Waena Terminal is very complete when viewed against the standards set by the government. However, in terms of soft infrastructure, the Waena terminal has not been fulfilled, namely there is no terminal management by related parties. The utilization and maintenance of Waena Terminal has not been going well because it seems that there is no terminal management.

Development strategy for marine conservation area of Mare Island, Tidore Islands City

Mare Island is a strategic small island, both in its location and its natural resources. In the Regional Regulation of North Maluku Province Number 2 of 2018 concerning Zoning Plans for Coastal Areas and Small Islands of North Maluku Province for 2018-2038, Mare Island is designated as Coastal and Small Islands Conservation Areas. Furthermore, through the Decree of the Minister of Marine and Fisheries Affairs Number 66/KEPMEN-KP/2020, Mare Island has been designated as a Marine Conservation Area. The research aims to formulate a strategy for developing marine conservation areas on Mare Island. Field data collection was carried out in the form of observations, interviews and questionnaires, analysis of existing spatial conditions using the Geographic Information System (GIS), for strategy formulation using SWOT analysis tools after identifying various internal and external factors. external strategy, while the alternative strategy is continued by determining the priority of the strategy using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that there were 11 alternative formulations of strategies for development of Mare Island marine conservation areas in order of priority: Improved conservation area management, Capacity building for government and community organizations, Implementation of Zoning Plans and Preparation of Detailed Spatial Plans, Economic empowerment and development of alternative livelihoods, Partnership network improvement, Improvement of tourism facilities and infrastructure, Collaboration of programs among local government offices, Structuring residential areas, Limiting the use of SDKP, Law enforcement and Development of sea and land transportation facilities.

Evaluasi Faktor Keberhasilan Sistem Informasi Transportasi Online Berbasis Mobile Dalam Perspektif Kepuasan Pelanggan

Abstract - One of the most important sectors in determining the success of the development process in developing countries is transportation. Existing transportation such as land, air and sea transportation. Of the three types of transportation, in Indonesia, the fastest development of island transportation. The rapid growth of transportation is evidenced by the increasing number of motorcycle transportation by 7.40% per year. This amount is supported by factors in the development and utilization of information technology that is increasingly growing in Indonesia. Behind that, it turns out there is support from the many companies developing technology to build transportation applications. As with online transportation that can provide land transportation facilities only by utilizing smartphone technology. The development of online transportation is one of the important factors in the use of transportation vehicles in Indonesia. Previous transportation has the facilities and infrastructure in the use of transportation is still minimal, namely the lack of providing services to the community so that people do not feel satisfied. Therefore, we conducted a study to evaluate the success factors of using land transportation from an online transportation application in the perspective of customer satisfaction using the AHP method that can overcome complex, unstructured problems such as expert thought, from the results obtained by the main factors that are very influential with the success of an application can be seen from the level of technological confidence of the application . IDENTIFIKASI VARIABEL RISIKO PADA PENINGKATAN JALAN BINALATUNG DI KOTA TARAKAN DARI PERSPEKTIF OWNER

Road improvements in the city of Tarakan are mostly carried out to support people's welfare. roads in coastal areas in general are far from good, this is seen from the difficulty of access. the coastal area of the city of Tarakan is very dependent on land transportation facilities to meet their daily needs. this research was taken from a road improvement project, so that risks will be observed from the point of view of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service as the project owner. The methodology used is conducting questionnaires and interviews. respondents from this study were the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service. with the type of qualitative description research. The results obtained in this study were in the form of risk identification that occurred during the road improvement project on the binalatung road in Tarakan City which had 93 overall risk variables after the method of analyzing probability and statistical relevance obtained a risk event rank of 35 variables.

Houseboats in Kerala - Constructional Features and Environmental Issues

Kerala Houseboats (Riceboats) or kettuvallam are country boats that were used in early days for transport of goods from isolated interior villages of Kerala backwater area to the towns like Alleppey, Kollam , Cochin and Kottayam. With the advent of land transport facilities, gradually the kettuvalloms went off the scene. Now they are back again as a major tourist attraction as a modern moving boat house. They form a huge source of revenue and prosperity for the region. It is a well-known fact that only around 100 of the 600-plus houseboats operating in the Vembanad Lake and the surrounding canals and rivers have valid Pollution Control Certificates (PCC) since they have onboard sewage treatment facilities. Houseboats satisfying the essential conditions and adhering to eco-friendly measures will be awarded the Green Palm Certificate, the top classification awarded by the Department of tourism. The sustainability of eco-tourism lays in the four main areas - Environment - Energy - Water - Propulsion. Less fuel/running cost, no oil or diesel contamination into backwaters, no untreated sewage into backwater, reduction in noise pollution are the ways to achieve dream for a green and pleasing future in Kerala backwater and save the same for the next generation.

Changes in Foreign Trade from the Customs Ports of Northeast Scotland, 1743-1826

For much of the historical period, seaborne trade was of great significance to the northeast of Scotland and this paper considers the changes which took place in the foreign trade conducted through the region's ports in the period 1743-1826. It was a time when economic expansion was taking place as a result of new developments in agriculture and industry and if, in the early years, there was a close similarity to the economy and contacts already established in the 17th century, by the end of the period under study the goods traded and the people involved bore a greater resemblance to the region as it was known in the later 19th and early 20th centuries. The northeast was, traditionally, made up of the old counties of Aberdeenshire , Banffshire and Kincardineshire and, as was the case elsewhere in the country until investment was made in the toll road system, land transport facilities were both limited and expensive. In contrast, the movement of goods by sea was a relatively simple matter especially as the region had an extensive seaboard and many towns and villages had grown up at locations where shelter was available along an otherwise less than hospitable coastline. Archaeological evidence and early historical records indicate that trading contacts had long existed with other parts of Scotland, eastern England and northern Europe. By the 17th century these links had intensified, with eastern Scotland (especially the Firth of Forth), Norway, the Low Countries and the Baltic States being of particular importance. From the late 17th century onwards the construction of improved harbour facilities within the northeast became increasingly important in order to cater for the growing maritime trade of the region. During the 18th and 19th centuries the area's economy developed rapidly and although the merchants and shipowners of Aberdeen played a critical part in this growth, many of the small coastal burghs also had cargoes arriving from, or being dispatched to ports at home and abroad. Unfortunately few harbour registers appear to exist (with the exception of Aberdeen) relating to ship movements at individual harbours. As a result it difficult to assess the relative importance of individual ports within the region or to obtain accurate details of the cargoes imported and exported. Until later in the 19th century government statistics in Scotland did not record coastal shipments or vessels sailing in ballast and hence it is difficult to obtain any indication of the relative importance of coastal traffic unless relevant statistics were recorded by local writers. This lack of information is doubly unfortunate as it covers a period of time when it is known that coastal trade increased rapidly. Fortunately, customs records relating to foreign trade do exist and from them it is possible to gain considerable insight into the changes which took place as the country experienced rapid economic development in the 18th and early 19th centuries.

A Land Transportation Bomb Threat Training Simulator

The large numbers of passengers in close proximity in land transportation facilities present attractive targets for terrorist attacks. Land transportation facilities are also particularly susceptible to operational disruption, as problems in one node can affect an entire transportation network. This paper describes an effort to mitigate the operational disruption that can be caused by bombs and bomb threats targeted towards these types of transportation facilities. The authors develop an interactive multimedia bomb threat training simulator for land transportation facilities. With the simulator, land transportation facility personnel can receive simulated bomb threats, gather information, and decide whether to ignore the threat, conduct a search for suspect devices, or evacuate the facility. Because this training is simulated, users can receive realistic bomb threat training that might not otherwise be possible due to time, cost, or operational considerations. Quantitative training validation analysis indicates improved bomb threat response skills as a result of training with the simulator.

NORTH‐SOUTH ENERGY RESOURCE TRANSFERS IN CHINA AND THE PORT INTERMEDIARY

AbstractA pressing problem confronting China is that of energy supply. Despite a huge endowment of energy minerals, the country must tackle the thorny issue of an alarming divide between the regions replete with energy and those devoid of it. Exacerbating die mismatch is die fact that the energy‐deficient regions are precisely die ones experiencing the most dramatic growth. Only a diorough revamping of transport infrastructure, in which ports and north‐soudi coastwise shipping play a seminal role, can hope to eliminate the energy imbalance existing between supplying and consuming regions. Bodi types of regions are expected to benefit in consequence: die former on die strength of interregional energy exports; die latter on die basis of international product exports. The part played by ports and associated land transport facilities is aired in this article.

This paper presents a review of the relevant literature that can be used to identify, evaluate and mitigate environmental impacts of land transport facilities (development and operation) in developing countries. After examining the relevant characteristics of land transport development in such countries, the paper discusses the environmental effects. Controls and countermeasures associated with each category of impacts are also reviewed under the broad categories of air, noise and water pollution as well as land use changes and social and ecological impacts. Issues concerning environmental impact assessment/analysis process and transport of hazardous materials are then addressed.
