This research is a case study on the teaching ability of Pre-service Chinese teachers. To do this, We gathered ideas, views, and opinions of Pre-service Chinese teachers based on three themes, such as the position recognition of Pre-service Chinese teachers, the understanding of conceptual knowledge, and the cultivation of practical knowledge.BR As a result of this research, factors influencing the teaching ability of Pre-service Chinese teachers, is understanding and knowledge of Chinese language, effective knowledge transfer method, induction of interest in Chinese language, active communication with students during class, and confidence in Chinese classes. In addition, we confirmed that the position recognition of Pre-service Chinese teachers is the starting point of teaching ability.
