The Effect of CVT Rollers Weight on Power and Torque of Honda Vario 125 Engine in Garuda Hybrid Car 2017

This study aims to find out the impact of CVT roller’s weight variable to “Honda Vario” 125 engine power and its torque in “Garuda Hybrid 2017 car”. This paper is a kind of experimental research. The object of this paper is the “Honda Vario” 125 engine that has been bored down to 120cc in “Garuda Hybrid 2017 car”. There are 5 different types of calibration samples. The calibration uses a dyno test to test the engine. After calibrating the engine, the research uses descriptive analysis as the analysis data technique. The results show that: (1) the change of CVT “Honda Vario” 125 weight variable roller influence the power produced by the engine; the bigger the roller weight, the bigger the power produced by the engine. (2) The influence of its weight variable also influences the torque of the engine; the lighter the roller weight, the bigger the torque of the engine.

CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING ( CTL) DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MAHASISWA

The research carried out on PGMI Unisma students aims to find out the differences between student mathematics learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model and the Expository Learning model. This study involved 44 students in which 22 students were in the experimental group and 22 students were in the control group. This research is a kind of experimental research. Data collection techniques used are documentation and tests. Homogeneity and normality tests are the main requirements before researchers conduct hypothesis testing. The output from the t test shows Sig. (2 - tailed) of 0.003 <0.005, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. PENGARUH Trichoderma asperellum DAN KOMPOS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH VARIETAS LEMBAH PALU (Allium L.x Wakegi Araki)

This study aims to determine the effect of giving T. asperellum and compost on the growth and yield of shallots of the Palu Valley variety. This research was conducted on July to September 2019 in Oloboju Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This research is a kind of experimental research that is designed by using a Randomized Group Design with grouping based on watering time. The treatments tested consisted of: P0 = Control (without treatment), P1 = T. asperellum 48g + 12 liters of water, P2 = T. asperellum 48g + 12kg compost and P3 = 12kg compost. To determine the effect of the treatment being tried, a diversity test was conducted. If the diversity test results show a real influence, then proceed with the Honestly Significant Difference test (BNJ) α = 0.05 to find out the differences between treatments. Treatment of various combinations of T. asperellum and compost significantly affected plant height at ages 15 and 25 HST, but had no significant effect on the number of leaves, leaf fresh weight, root fresh weight, leaf dry weight, root dry weight, number of tubers per clump, fresh tuber weight per clump, fresh tuber weight per plot and fresh tuber weight per hectare. The compost treatment gives a better effect on the height of plants aged 15 HST (average 15.09cm) and 25 HST (average 19.86cm).

Pengaruh Lama Pemanasan Terhadap Kadar Alkohol Pada Nira Siwalan (Borassus flabellifer)

abstractNira is a raw material for the manufacture of liquid brown sugar, palm sugar, and alcoholic beverages. Among these products are the most widely used alcoholic beverage. During this siwalan juice as a beverage consumed fresh, the storage period is relatively short whice for 1-2 days. If after 3 days the beverage is consumed will have a negative impact, to reduce the alcohol content is then made warming. Based on the above background can be taken formulation of the problem "whether there was an effect on levels of alcohol prolonged heating on sap siwalan"?. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect on levels of alcohol prolonged heating on sap siwalan. This research is a kind of experimental research with the aim to determine the effect of prolonged heating of the alcohol content in the sap siwalan. The sampling technique used was random sampling, totaling 24 samples. Variable work was composed of independent variables and the dependent variable. Alcohol Examination conducted on sap siwalan by doing without heating or 0 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes, using a number of methods Pycnometer six replication. From these results a decrease in the average alcohol content of sap siwalan on any heating for 10 min, 20 min and 30 min, after using ANOVA statistical test obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) can be summed Ha Ho is rejected or accepted which means there is prolonged heating effect on levels of alcohol in the juice siwalan.Key word : Nira, Level of alcohol, prolonger heating

THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHING ENGLISH VOCABULARY USING VCD LEARNING TO THE KINDERGARTEN LEVEL IN SMART AND FUN COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH COURSE SAMARINDA

The researcher used VCD <em>Learning</em> to help kindergarten level students Smart and Fun Communicative English Program Samarinda on learning English vocabulary. The contents were relevant to the vocabulary for students in kindergarten level of Smart and Fun Samarinda.This study was aimed finding whether there was significance difference between experimental and control groups and whether there was significant difference between post experimental and control groups. It is a kind of experimental research. This study’s design was <em>two group-pretest-treatment-posttest design</em>. The population of this study was 60 students. The researcher took 40 students from two classes as the sample of this study. Then, took other 20 students as try out test respondents. The test was tried out to 20 respondents consisted of 30 items. After being analyzed, its reliability coefficient was 0.462. The experimental group’s mean score on the post-test was 80.17 while on control group was 70.67. After analyzing the two mean scores by using the program of SPSS 16.0, it was found that the difference significance value between the two mean scores t - computed 4.068 was higher than t - table 2.093 with the level of significant 5%. The computation showed that the two groups’ mean scores of significantly differed. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It could be concluded that there was significant difference of English vocabulary achievement among students of kindergarten level of Smart and Fun by using VCD <em>Learning.</em>

Generators of some Ramanujan formulas

In this paper we prove some Ramanujan type formulas for 1/π but without using the theory of modular forms. Instead we use the WZ—method created by H. Wilf and D. Zeilberger and find some hypergeometric functions in two variables which are second components of WZ—pairs than can be certified using Zeilberger's EKHAD package. These certificates have an additional property which allows us to get generalized Ramanujan's type series which are routinely proven by computer. We call these second hypergeometric components of the WZ—pairs generators. Finding generators seems a hard task but using a kind of experimental research (explained below), we have succeeded in finding some of them. Unfortunately we have not found yet generators for the most impressive Ramanujan's formulas. We also prove some interesting binomial sums for the constant 1/π2. Finally we rewrite many of the obtained series using pochhammer symbols and study the rate of convergence.
