Performance Of Etawa Crossbreed (PE) in The Colony

The research was carried out in Selopanggung Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency by taking the research site at the PE goat farm owned by Refangga and Samsuri. The livestock observed were male Peranakan Etawah (PE) goats. This study used a survey method, t test and the parameters used were birth weight, body weight, weaning weight and qualitative traits of male etawah breed. And the conclusion of this study is that at Refangga farms the average birth weight of males was 8.33 ± 2.25, and the average body weight was 14.44 ± 1.83, the average weaning weight was 11.37 ± 2.19. Meanwhile in Samsuri, the average male birth weight was 4.82 ± 0.33, the average body weight was 7.12 ± 1.76. Weaning weight 10.07 ± 1.47.

Efforts to Develop Tourism Village Programs in an Effort to Improve Original Village Income in Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village, Mejono Village Plemahan District, Kediri Regency

Gronjong Wariti is a village tourism that has the characteristic of providing a tourist village as an entertainment object for tourists. The development of Gronjog Wariti Tourism Village has been attempted to develop to face a number of obstacles, including the many informal tourism managers. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects are the Head of Mejono Village, the Head of the Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village Management Board, community leaders and residents of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village. Interviews and observations are used in data collection. In this study, data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data and presenting data to draw conclusions. The findings of this study explain that efforts to develop Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village can be seen from the aspects of tourist objects and attractions, tourism infrastructure, tourism facilities, and management/infrastructure management, the community. In terms of tourist objects and destinations, the village government has coordinated with the people to clean and rearrange tourist objects so that they can be visited by tourists. In terms of tourism infrastructure, the management of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village works together with the community to provide places of worship, parking lots, toilets, food stalls, souvenir shops, and others. In terms of tourism facilities, the management of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village has collaborated with the community to provide home accommodation and transportation services for tourists. In terms of management/infrastructure, the village government has developed a regulatory system to manage and develop tourism villages. In terms of the village community, the village government has made socialization to the community and tourism managers.

Implementasi Kebijakan Perlindungan Anak Korban Kekerasan di Kabupaten Kediri

This research aims to analyze the implementation of child protection policies for victims of violence in Kediri Regency, focusing on four key variables according to George C. Edwards III's theory: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, using a qualitative approach. Data were gathered from interviews, observations, documentation, and relevant secondary sources such as books and scholarly articles. The research was conducted at the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (DP2KBP3A) in Kediri Regency. The findings indicate that 1) Communication success in policy implementation has been effective, marked by clear and consistent information transmission between the head of DP2KBP3A Kediri, PPA department staff, and the community. 2) Challenges persist in the resources variable concerning staff numbers and facilities like the absence of a shelter, which does not align with Edwards III's theory of implementation success. However, existing resources have been optimally utilized through information and authority. 3) Disposition has been effectively implemented, evidenced by policy implementers' high commitment to policy execution. 4) Bureaucratic structure at DP2KBP3A Kediri has been well-implemented, supporting the smooth implementation of child protection policies for victims of violence.

The Influence Of Lifestyle And Financial Literacy On The Behavior Of Housewives In Badas Village, Kediri District In Using Buy Now Pay Later Services

This research is motivated by the fact that lifestyle and financial literacy are factors that influence the financial decisions and financial management of housewives. This research focuses on analyzing the influence of lifestyle and financial literacy on the behavior of housewives in Badas Village, Kediri Regency in using buy now pay later services. The method for collecting samples using purposive sampling technique with a total of 97 respondents. Research using quantitative approaches and causality research methods. The results of the study were processed with the SPSS version 23 program, with the conclusion that the lifestyle and financial literacy of housewives of Badas Village, Kediri Regency play an important role in the use of buy now pay later services. Specifically, this study found that higher lifestyle scores are positively correlated with a higher likelihood of using buy now pay later services. In contrast, higher financial literacy scores are negatively correlated with the use of buy now pay later services.

“TELANG TEA TIME”, MINUMAN SEHAT PENANGKAL HIPERTENSI

Hypertension is characterized by blood pressure above 140/90 mmHg and is an alarm of hemodynamic imbalance in the body. Hypertension is a silent killer. One of the efforts that can be made to stabilize blood pressure is by consuming telang (Clitoria ternatea L.) flower herbal drinks. The high antioxidant content in telang flowers is beneficial for health. To introduce the benefits of flowers to the community, community service activities were carried out in Tunge Village, Kediri Regency. This community service was carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a total of 238 participants. The community service was carried out in July-August 2024. It was divided into three activity groups. In each implementation, the activity was divided into six stages, namely: health screening, pretest, hypertension education, demonstration of making telang flower tea, tester, and testimony, then was closed with a post-test. There were several results obtained from the implementation of the community service activities, which were the increase in residents' knowledge about hypertension, the benefits of Clitoria ternatea L. flowers for health, and how to process Clitoria ternatea L. flowers into herbal drinks that are efficacious for health. In the processing into herbal drinks, the flower can be combined with other herbal ingredients to obtain other properties and a more delicious taste.

Effectiveness of Finger Hand Relaxation and Progressive Muscle Relaxation Techniques on Anxiety in Pre-Operative Sectio Caesarea Patients

Background: Anxiety is a common thing that occurs in patients who will undergo surgery. The anxiety that occurs in preoperative patients can be felt from the time they are scheduled for surgery until the time of surgery arrives. Anxiety management can be done using pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. Purpose: The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of finger grip relaxation techniques and progressive muscle relaxation on anxiety in pre-caesarean section surgery patients in the Kediri Regency Regional General Hospital. Method: This study used a Quasy-experiment With Pretest Posttest to determine the effect of finger grip and progressive muscle relaxation techniques. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique and a total of 56 patients were obtained who were divided into 2 groups, namely the finger grip intervention group and the progressive muscle intervention group. The pretest and posttest data for each group were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test to determine the effect and the Mann-Whitney Test to compare the posttest results of the 2 groups. Results: The results of the study showed that the Wilcoxon test in both intervention groups obtained a p-value < α (0.05), which means that before and after the intervention, both progressive muscle relaxation and finger grip relaxation had an influence on the anxiety level of pre-caesarean section patients. For the results of the Mann-Whitney test, the p-value was 0.063 or p-value > α (0.05), which means there was no significant difference between changes in anxiety whether those given progressive muscle relaxation intervention or finger grip relaxation. Conclusion: Finger grip relaxation techniques and progressive muscle relaxation techniques are both effective in reducing anxiety levels in pre-caesarean section surgery patients. So this non- pharmacological therapy can be an option for patients in dealing with anxiety problems before caesarean section surgery.

HEALTH EDUCATION ON MATERNAL KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES IN BABY MASSAGE INDEPENDENTLY

Background: Baby massage is a comfortable form of communication between mother and baby. Benefits of regular baby massage with proper techniques include increased baby weight gain, improved breast milk production, reduced maternal anxiety, and stronger bonding. Method: Quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate techniques with chi-square statistical tests. The sample in this study consisted of 45 mothers with babies aged 0–12 months in Kedak Village, Semen, Kediri Regency. Sampling technique with accidental sampling. Respondents were given a questionnaire before and after participating in a health education session conducted using audiovisual media and leaflets. Result:The bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed the value of Asymp. A significant relationship was found between pre-health education and the knowledge and attitude of mothers in massaging their baby independently, with a p-value of 0.000. Post-health education, the Asymp. significance level of p-value 0.001 indicates a relationship between mothers' knowledge and their attitude towards independently massaging their babies after health education. Conclusion: There is a relationship between health education and mothers' knowledge and attitude towards independently massaging their babies.

INCREASING PUBLIC AWARENESS IN DRUG USE THROUGH SMART COMMUNITY MOVEMENT USING DRUGS (SCMUD)

The community tends to try to overcome health problems through easier and more cost-efficient methods. This triggers the tendency of the community to self-medicate. Self-medication is the use of drugs by individuals, not based on a doctor's prescription, but based on the individual's initiative. This community service aims to increase awareness of using drugs through Smart Community Movement Using Drugs (SCMUD) in the Bulakdawung community, Parang village, Banyakan district, Kediri regency. The activity was carried out on May 17, 2024, by providing Health Counseling to mothers who accompany their children to study groups, with lecture and question and answer methods, the media used was the leaflet of awareness of using drugs. The results of the activity were 21 mothers with most elementary school education backgrounds (80.95%), work as housewives (95.23%), less knowledge about awareness of using drugs (71.42%), good attitudes awareness of using drugs (66.67%) and drug use behavior in the family (80.9%) and those lacking 19.1%. After being given health education regarding the safe use of drugs through the Smart Community Movement Using Drugs, the community increasingly understands and carries out awareness to avoid the negative impacts of self-medication and provide appropriate treatment for family members who are sick and utilize health service centers appropriately. It was concluded that the activity can increase public awareness in the use of drugs through health counseling.

Hubungan Risiko Kehamilan Berdasarkan Kartu Skor Poedji Rochjati (KSPR) dengan Persalinan Sectio Caesarea dan Morbiditas Perinatal di Wilayah Puskesmas Mojo Kabupaten Kediri

Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia is still high, namely 177 per 100.000 live births. KSPR is a simple tool for early detection of risk factors in pregnant women. Pregnant women with high risk are more likely to experience complication during pregnancy and childbirth so that the possibility of caesarean delivery and perinata morbidity is igher. Complication during pregnancy and childbirth are also a factor in the high MMR. This study aims to determine the relationship between the risk of pregnant women based on the KSPR scoring results with caesarean section deliveries and perinatal morbidity. The research method uses observational analytic with retrospective data collection. The sample in this study were pregnant women who underwent ANC at the Mojo Health Center, Kediri Regency, from Januari to December 2021 who were included in the inclusion criteria and were determined using simple random sampling technique. Data collection trough secondary data in the form of register books, maternal cohorts, medical records, and data collection sheet. Research data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents (54%) had high-risk pregnancies (KRT). The results of the statistical test between the risk of pregnancy and sectio caesarea delivery obtained p value = 0,022 and the results of the statistical test between the risk of pregnancy and perinatal morbidity obtained p value = 0,946. These data indicate that there is a significant relationship between the risk of pregnancy and caesarean delivery and there is no significant relationship between risk of pregnancy and perinatal morbidity.

Extended-spectrum beta-laktamase (ESBL) enzyme producing bacteria isolated from rectal swabs of around animals in dairy farms

This study aims to identify bacterial contamination of Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli producing Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase (ESBL) isolated from rectal swabs of local animals on a dairy farm in Deyeng Village, Kediri, East Java. Interviews and observations were conducted with farmers to obtain the required risk factor data (cleanliness of drinking and eating places, drinking water sources, and administration of antibiotics to livestock). The number of samples tested in this study was 34 samples, including 12 chicken samples, 8 goat samples, 5 duck samples, 4 rabbit samples, 3 cat samples and 2 goose samples. Samples were isolated on MCA media + cefotaxime 1 mg/l and isolated again on MCA media without the addition of antibiotics to multiply pure bacterial colonies. The tests carried out to determine the presence of ESBL-producing bacteria are biochemical tests, namely the IMViC test (Indole, Methyl red, Voges-Proskauer, Citrate Utilization), TSIA (Triple Sugar Iron Agar) test, gram staining, and the Double Disk Standard Method test using β-lactam disc antibiotics, namely cefotaxime 30μg, ceftazidime 30μg, and amoxycilline-clavulanate acid 30μg. The results of this research were that 6 samples or 17.6% of ESBL-producing bacteria were identified from poultry groups (chickens, ducks and geese) from dairy farms in Deyeng Village, Kediri Regency, East Java.

Intergovernmental Impact Analysis in Optimizing the Implementation of the Village Profile and Administration Management Information System in Merjoyo Village, Purwoasri District, Kediri Regency

The Government of Kediri District through the Office of Community Empowerment and Village Administration created the Village Profile and Administration Management Information System (SIMPADE). The existence of the SIMPADE application is expected to help the performance of the village government in the service of making population certificates. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is to determine the impact of the application of SIMPADE as a form of village cooperation with the implementing elements of village government affairs in Merjoyo Village, Purwoasri District, Kediri Regency. Data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation review. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the impact of the SIMPADE application on the provision and dissemination of service information is quite good because it provides options and has the potential for further development even though there are some obstacles regarding the operation of the application in the field.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPATUHAN WAJIB PAJAK DALAM MEMBAYAR PAJAK KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DI KANTOR SAMSAT PARE KABUPATEN KEDIRI JAWA TIMUR TAHUN 2024

Motor vehicle tax is one of the main sources of regional income and this research aims to determine the factors that influence taxpayer compliance in making motor vehicle tax (PKB) payments at the Pare Samsat Office, Kediri Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative causality. The population used is all taxpayers registered at the Pare Samsat Office, Kediri Regency. The number of samples in this research was 100 respondents with sample determination using the probability sampling method and the technique used was simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 program. The results of this research show that taxpayer awareness, tax service quality, and tax facilities influence motor vehicle taxpayer compliance. Meanwhile, taxpayer knowledge and tax sanctions have no effect on motor vehicle taxpayer compliance. Based on the results, the conclusion shows that the higher the level of taxpayer awareness, the better the quality of services and tax facilities provided can increase the ratio of taxpayer compliance with motor vehicle tax payments.

Unveiling Mysticism and Community Engagement in Indonesian Ritual Performances

Specific Background: This study focuses on the ritual communication involved in the traditional art of Jaranan Branasti Putro, originating from Ringinsari village in Kediri Regency, Indonesia. Jaranan is a performance art infused with mystical elements, often featured in celebratory events. Knowledge Gap: While the significance of ritual communication in traditional arts is recognized, comprehensive analysis of its role in Jaranan performances remains underexplored. Aims: This research aims to investigate the various stages of ritual communication in Jaranan Branasti Putro and their impact on audience appreciation. Results: Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, the study collected data through purposive sampling interviews, documentation, and observations, revealing that ritual communication is not only central to the performance but also contributes to the overall entertainment value of Jaranan. Novelty: This research highlights the dual nature of Jaranan art as both a mystical and entertaining practice, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in sustaining this cultural expression. Fostering Religious Harmony: The Role of Religious Leaders in Pancasila Village, Indonesia

Differences in beliefs in Indonesia often lead to social conflicts. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of religious figures in maintaining and fostering religious harmony in Banaran Village, which has been officially designated as Pancasila Village. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach, conducted in Pancasila Village, Banaran, Kandangan Subdistrict, Kediri Regency. The findings show that religious leaders have a significant influence on maintaining diversity harmony through inclusive approaches and interfaith dialogue. Religious leaders not only act as spiritual leaders but also as mediators and wise problem solvers amidst differences in beliefs and traditions. Through effective communication, tolerance, and inter-religious dialogue, they have successfully built and maintained social harmony in the village. However, they also face challenges, such as internal conflicts and disparities in resource access, requiring specific strategies to ensure a peaceful and harmonious community life.

Spatial-Temporal Visualization of Dengue Fever Vulnerability in Kediri Using Hierarchy Clustering Based on Mobile Devices

In Indonesia, Dengue Fever (DF) is a contagious disease that is a significant issue in public health. The Kediri Regency in East Java, as reported by the Ministry of Health in 2019, had the highest number of DF cases. If not addressed promptly, DF can lead to outbreaks, creating a health emergency. The lack of a thorough investigation into the diversity of risk within a spatial and temporal region exacerbates this issue. Therefore, spatial-temporal analysis is crucial in developing a warning system to prevent and control DF. This paper proposes a method that combines the Euclidean Distance calculation with the Hierarchical Clustering method. We collected data from the Kediri Regency health department and conducted pre-processing and classification processes, considering the number of DF victims, death rate, population, rainfall, and public facilities. The hierarchical clustering algorithm was used to categorize the 344 village analyses into low, medium, and high vulnerability categories. This method allows for a comparison of yearly single, average, complete, and centroid linkage in DF vulnerability levels. We also employed spatial-temporal visualization based on cellular applications to create a clear picture of areas vulnerable to DF. The experimental results in clustering showed a satisfactory level of matching, with variant values calculated using the hierarchical clustering method. The variants for single linkages were 0.113; for average linkages, they were 0.120; for complete linkages, they were 0.178; and for centroid linkages, they were 0.106. The grouping validation results indicated that the centroid linkage method produced the best variant level. We suggest further enhancing the methods with better process steps using other pre-processing methods to improve the validation quality.

The role of readiness for change on behavioral intention viewed from performance and effort expectancy in the implementation of electronic medical records

Background: Technological developments have triggered a transformation in the implementation of electronic medical records (RME) in Indonesia, in line with regulations that require the implementation of RME in all health service facilities by the end of 2023. Although it has been proven to increase efficiency and reduce medical errors, the implementation of RME faces challenges such as infrastructure readiness and risk factors cultural. Purpose: To identify factors that influence the success of RME implementation, including performance expectations and the use of RME in health facilities in Indonesia. Method: The design of this research is quantitative, observational analytical type with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were employees of Community Health Centers in Kediri Regency. The probability sampling technique using a random sampling approach obtained a sample of 336 employees in 33 Community Health Centers and SmartPLS 2.9.8 was used to test the hypothesis. The variables used in this research are: performance expectancy (X1), effort expectancy (X2), Readiness for Change (Z), and Usage Intention (Y). Results: The results of the research show that there is a direct influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and Readiness to Change on Usage Intention with P = 0.000. Individual Change Readiness Mediates performance expectancy and effort expectancy on Usage Intention, which has a significant effect with a P value of 0.001. Conclusion: This research concludes that new insights into the critical role of change readiness as a mediator between technology acceptance factors and behavioral intentions.

The Effect of Potassium Dosage and Branch-Pruning on the Growth and Yield of Butternut Squash (Cucurbita moschata Durch)

Butternut squash (C. moschata) is a honey squash plant (Cucurbita moschata Durch) which is an introduced plant from the lowlands of South America and has adapted to Indonesia. The research was carried out in the planting area of Kampung Labu Madu, Toyoresmi Village, Ngasem District, Kediri Regency from January to June 2021. Potassium is among major nutrients needed by plants in their growth and development. Potassium fertilization can help plants improve the regulation of photosynthetic mechanisms, carbohydrate translocation, protein synthesis This research was a two-factor factorial experiment prepared using a Split Plot Design. The first factor (main plot) was the branch pruning (P) treatment which consisted of 2 levels and the second factor (subplot) was the dose of KCl (K) fertilizer which consisted of 4 levels. The results of the research showed that there was a real influence in the treatment without pruning on the parameters of the number of male flowers and on the parameter of fruit weight with the best treatment being pruning, whereas for the treatment the dose of KCl fertilizer had a real effect on the parameters.

Adaptation Test of Several Promising Varieties of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in Lowlands

Cucumber plants exhibit a remarkable capacity for adaptation to varying altitudes. The objective of this study is to identify the cucumber hybrid candidates that demonstrate the highest adaptability in lowland environments, based on the diversity of both qualitative and quantitative growth characteristics exhibited by each hybrid of Cucumis sativus L. The research was conducted in Sumbersari Hamlet, Kencong Village, Kepung District, Kediri Regency, East Java Province. A completely randomized block design (CRBD) was employed, incorporating six treatments of cucumber varieties, which included five hybrid varieties and one control variety. The experiment was organized into four groups. The materials utilized in this study comprised cucumber seeds from the Cu12, Cu13, Cu14, Cu15, Cu16 varieties, along with the Top Tavi F1 variety as a control. Fertilizers used included NPK and Urea. Observations of qualitative characteristics were conducted in accordance with the test implementation guidelines (PPU), with color variables assessed using the RHS color chart. The qualitative analysis revealed that the cucumber leaves exhibited a green hue (greyish olive green), the flowers were yellow (brilliant yellow), the fruit skin displayed green and yellowish green tones (moderate olive green and strong yellow green), and the shape of the fruit base and slices was characterized as round and obtuse. In terms of quantitative characteristics, the Cu12 variety demonstrated the shortest harvest age, while the Cu16 variety exhibited the longest. Among the varieties tested, the Cu13 variety emerged as the most adaptive, possessing characteristics and traits that surpassed those of the control variety (Top Tavi F1).

Health Education for Adolescent Girls in Overcoming Dismenorhea without Medication

Dysmenorrhea is pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation which is generally caused by contractions of the myometrium due to prostaglandin production. In Indonesia, 43-93% girls experiencing dysmenorrhea. When experiencing unbearable menstrual pain, many women need medication to relieve it. However, the use of drugs often has side effects on the body. One of the non-pharmacological management methods that can be used is relaxation techniques that inhibit the brain from producing pain sensations and do not cause side effects for the body. The purpose of the community service activities carried out at Senior High School 1 Kandat, Kediri Regency is to provide education about non-pharmacological therapy methods in reducing the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain that are easy to apply, especially to adolescent girls when experiencing menstrual pain. The population of this community service is female students. The implementation of this community service activity is by providing health education on how to overcome menstrual pain without medication. The result of this activity was an increase in the level of knowledge of 85% of female students on how to overcome menstrual pain without medication. This activity concludes that it was implemented and resulted in changes by the target output, namely knowledge on overcoming menstrual pain without medication. It is hoped that the counseling provided can be implemented routinely and applied.
