Mengembangkan Keterampilan Komunikasi Melalui Model Pembelajaran AKIK untuk Guru PAUD di Kabupaten Katingan

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important foundation in children's development, influencing their cognitive, social, emotional and motoric aspects. To improve the quality of teaching, PAUD teachers must develop effective communication skills. In order to achieve this goal, the Katingan District Education Office held an Integrative Holistic PAUD Technical Guidance event which aims to improve the communication skills of PAUD teachers through the AKIK (Active, Communicative, Interactive and Collaborative) learning model. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, collecting data through observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research results showed that PAUD teachers participated more actively during the training, their communication skills improved, and they were able to design learning activities that were more communicative and collaborative. The application of the AKIK model has proven effective in creating an interactive learning environment, increasing teacher confidence in communicating, and strengthening collaboration between teachers.

Seeing The Spatial Readiness of Central Kalimantan as A Candidate For The Capital City Before The Decision of East Kalimantan as The New Capital

This paper describes how the data shows the readiness of Kalimantan candidates for capital city before the establishment of East Kalimantan as a new capital. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using interview and documentation methods. The findings of the research from the three regions studied are the municipalities of Palangka Raya, Katingan Regency and Gunung Mas Regency that the three regions have made some preparations in responding to the discourse of moving the capital as did the city of Palangka Raya in the form of building road expansion, expansion and renovation of city parks and expansion Airport area. While the Katingan district, is preparing candidates for airports, ports and areas of forest conservation, production forests, agriculture and offices. The same thing is also done by Gunung Mas who has poured in the regional spatial plan for 2014 - 2034, it can be said that the availability of land for the construction of office infrastructure and other development areas has shown adequate readiness and can meet the expectations of the community in service development, so that the availability of the land meets the expectations and discourse of moving the capital of the Republic of Indonesia to Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan.

Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Toleransi Dan Multikultural Melalui Huma Lentera Pada Masyarakat Desa Tarusan Danum Kabupaten Katingan

Strengthening the values of tolerance and diversity is essential in the life of the nation and state today. Horizontal conflicts based on Ethnicity, Race, Religion, and Class are increasingly influencing the situation. Therefore, it is important to promote genuine tolerance, as seen in Tarusan Danum Village, Katingan District. The purpose of community service there is to strengthen tolerance and diversity which is starting to decline. The method used in this service is PAR (Participation Action Research). The results show that in Tarusan Danum Village, in difficult situations, people help each other regardless of religion. Gotong-royong in cleaning public cemeteries is also carried out regardless of religious differences, because people see all religions as part of God's creation. This mutual help increases harmony between religious communities and promotes moderation and tolerance in religion. This service succeeded in strengthening religious moderation, strengthening tolerance, and building togetherness among people of various religions in Tarusan Danum Village

THE IMPACT OF PASTORAL MINISTRY BASED ON I SAMUEL 28:1-25 IN THE SPIRITUAL QUALITY OF EVANGELICAL KALIMANTAN CHURCH WHO FOLLOW THE TANTULAK AMBUN RUTAS MATEI IN KATINGAN CENTRAL KALIMANTAN

The Ngaju Dayak people still respect and appreciate their families despite their different religions. This attitude is based on the huma betang philosophy of the Ngaju Dayak tribe. That they are one big family, one descendant, one ancestor. Therefore it is difficult for the congregation to leave the traditional rituals for this reason, pastoral care is needed from the pastor of the Evangelical Kalimantan Church by building relationships to make it easier to provide a biblical understanding. It is indicated that pastoral care for the members of the congregation has not been maximally carried out by the pastor, resulting in the foundation of the congregation's faith being shallow in interpreting life in obedience to God's word. It can be seen from the indications that there are still members of the congregation violating the teachings of the Christian faith by practicing rituals related to the traditions and beliefs of their ancestors. Analysis of Protein and Calcium Content in White Swallow’s Nest Stew (Collacalia Fuchiphaga)

Swallow's nest (Collocalia fuchiphaga) is one of the high export commodities. This is because the bird's nest is considered to be nutritious in terms of health. In this research, using swallow's nest obtained from several swallow buildings in Subur Indah Village, Katingan District, Kuala Central Kalimantan. The purpose of this study was to analyse the protein and calcium content of boiled white bird’s nest (Collacalia Fuchiphaga). Determination of protein content was carried out using the Kjeldahl method while for determination of calcium content using the permanganometric titration method. Based on the results with 3 repetitions each, the protein content was 21.8; 22.92 and 22.15% at 4 hours of boiling then 19.7; 18.1 and 19.05% at 8 hours of boiling. Meanwhile, the determination of the calcium content resulted in 201.5; 198.2 and 205.6 mg / 100 g calcium at 4 hours of boiling and 182.5; 178.8 and 175.6 mg / 100 g calcium. The conclusion in this study is that the longer it takes to boil a swallow's nest, the less protein and calcium content is obtained

Analysis of Management Transfer Funds in Katingan District

Renewal of the government system into regional autonomy has a major impact on the administration of the government system and the scope of performance in the government in Katingan Regency. The Transfer Fund is intended to assist the region in funding the authority to provide services to the public and reduce the imbalance of government funding sources between the center and the regions, as well as to reduce the gap in government funding between regions. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Central Government transfer funds on capital expenditure for public services in Katingan Regency and analyze the management of transfer funds and their contribution to capital expenditure. The research is descriptive in order to explain how the Transfer Fund is managed by the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Katingan Regency. The results showed that the regional revenue of Katingan Regency originated from Regional Original Revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah or PAD), receipts from transfer funds, and other legitimate receipts. Receipt of transfer funds increases from year to year. The average transfer fund allocation that is intended for public services is increasing especially in the fields of health, sanitation infrastructure, markets, agriculture, road infrastructure, environment, assistance for Early Childhood Basic Education (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini or PAUD), health operational assistance, small and medium scale industries and the allocation of village funds also increased.

Pengembangan Danau Bulat Sebagai Destinasi Wisata Di Kabupaten Katingan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah

This research aims to determine the development of Round Lake as a tourist destination in Katingan district, Kalimantan Central province and its termination factor. This research uses a qualitative method that aims to find the meaning of a phenomenon in the background of a specific context and analyzed the reduction technique that is then presented sera done draw conclusions.
 The results of the research on the development of the Round Lake tourism destination in the Katingan regency of central Kalimantan province can be concluded that 1) has not been carried out marketing research in policymaking and program 2) innovation made Yet effective, thus demanding innovations in the field of development and marketing 3) still a mini chance for the community to engage in the development of around Lake tour. The inhibiting factor in the development is that the accessibility available is sufficient enough but the traveled distance is quite time-consuming and the road is passed perforated. Also, facilities and infrastructures that support the gate or post are not yet available, the direction to which the tourist destination also does not exist. Another factor is the data information system that belongs to the tourist destination and Aubulat is also quite minimal. The potentials that have not yet been once can be developed. This is because the community will be able to expand the tourism destination of the Round lake by the wishes.

Strategi Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Katingan Dalam Penanganan Bencana Kebakaran Hutan Dan Lahan Gambut Di Kecamatan Katingan Hilir Kabupaten Katingan

Forest fires and peatlands affect the destruction of the ecosystem and the manhood of the flora and fauna that grows and lives in the forest. The smoke caused also becomes air pollution that can cause diseases of the respiratory tract such as upper respiratory tract infections (ISPA), asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Also, smoke can interfere with visibility, especially for aviation transport. The BPBD of Katingan Regency became the hope of the government in the handling of forest and land fires, so that forest fires and peatlands can be reduced annually. 
 This research aims to know the strategy of BPBD in Katingan Regency in the handling of fire and peat land in Katingan district downstream of Katingan Regency. The research approach used is qualitative. Results Adapaun shows that the BPBD strategy of Katingan Regency in the implementation of forest fire and peatland in the region of Katingan Hilir, by involving the human resources that exist in the BPBD regency of Katingan.

Soil characteristics of rattan agroforests in Katingan district, Central Kalimantan

Rattan agroforest is a swidden cultivation systems, which apply slash-burning and fallow rotation in its development. This system is commonly practised by local farmers of Dayak in Central Kalimantan. The objective of the study was to assess soil characteristics of 5 land use types, namely forest, secondary forest (baliang), young rattan agroforest (bahu), complex ruber-rattan agroforest (CRR), and simple rubber agroforest (SR) in two villages in Katingan. The method used in the study was regular methods of soil analysis, such as pH (H2O &KCl), Corganic(Walkley & Black), Pavailable (Bray), Ntotal (Kjeldahl), and soil texture. The result showed that in the top layer (0-10 cm depth), forest has the highest C/N ratio, but the lowest ratio of Corg/Cref compare to others. Forest has the lowest Pcontent (4.02 ppm), while SR has the highest Pcontent (12.06 ppm). CRR and SR tends to have higher clay content than sand content. In general, farming systems determine characteristics of the soils. Forest conserves soil characteristics, while management that applied by farmers in the agroforestry system may improve soil fertility.

Ethnobotany, rattan agroforestry, and conservation of ecosystem services in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia

Rattan agroforestry is an important land use system in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, providing a wide range of products for subsistence communities. The ethnobotanical importance of rattan includes heritage values reflecting traditional ecological knowledge. This traditional forestry practice is consistent with necessary conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services currently threatened by expansion of oil palm plantations. We examined species composition and morphology (including life stages) of vegetation associated with rattan agroforests in the Katingan district, Central Kalimantan. An examination of harvested rattan plots revealed 101 species of vegetation of which 90% are considered to be useful (food, construction materials, medicines) and most (97%) were native species, typical of lowland tropical forest vegetation. Vegetation in the rattan agroforests was dominated by trees (in terms of species richness). There were 80 species of trees, representing 79% of the plants surveyed. Vitex pubescens (kaluan) had the highest importance value as it occupied more space, was represented by more individuals and was most frequently found in rattan gardens. These trees in general have a relatively open canopy with strong branches; properties considered ideal to support rattan. Canopy forming species are actively managed to provide for growth of useful understory vegetation (including rattan) important in the livelihoods of village communities. Rattan agroforests also provide cultural services reflecting traditional use (e.g. a sense of belonging and ancestral linkages for local forest-dependent communities). The importance of ethnobotanical approaches to rattan cultivation includes the socio-economic evaluation of land use and the promotion of sustainable land use policies in Indonesia. This is important in the context of oil palm expansion which has a demonstrably adverse impact on ecosystem services.

Is smallholder farmer maintaining biodiversity in rattan agroforest?

Rattan Agroforestry is usually developed by smallholder farmers in Katingan district, Central Kalimantan. The rattan is planted under woody tree species, mainly rubber. Both rubber and rattan have contributed in the economic development of Central Kalimantan. A vegetation analysis with purposive sampling plot was conducted in two villages in Katingan district to assess flora diversity in the gradient of Agroforestry system (simple to complex Agroforestry) compared with forest. The Agroforestry system consisted of baliang, bahu, complex rubber rattan agroforest, and simple rubber agroforest. Results showed forest has the highest tree diversity (H’=3.39), while simple rubber agroforest has the lowest tree diversity (H’=1.09). During the survey, 43 rattan species were encountered in the landscape of two villages (Tumbang Malawan and Tumbang Runen). The commonest rattan’s genus was Calamus (consisted of 22 species). Farmers applied an extensive management of rattan-rubber agroforest and they allowed regeneration occurred naturally in the farm. In the rattan agroforests, other tress with economic value, which produce food and fruits were intentionally planted to support food security to their family. Owing to low price, rattan currently is not intensively managed and harvested; nevertheless, the Dayak is still maintaining the rattan agroforest for their domestic and cultural needs.

Hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan pola perilaku dengan kejadian malaria di Kabupaten Katingan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah

Malaria disease is one of the environmental health problems, Health Office of Katingan District Kasongan District Health Center. Katingan Hilir is a malaria endemic area with an API value in 2010 of 5.6 ‰ and is a red zone in malaria stratafication. Malaria discovery rates from 2008 to 2010 always increase. The high rate of malaria morbidity is due to the lack of knowledge level and community behavior pattern.The aim of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge level and behavioral pattern about malaria with malaria incident in Kasongan sub-district of Katingan Hilir district of Katingan Regency. The type of research is analytic, research design using Fisher exact test. The number of respondents in this study was 58 respondents.Chi-square statistical test results with Continuity Correction obtained p-value 0.002 indicates that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge with the incidence of malaria and the results of statistical tests with Fisher exact test obtained p-value 0.002 that there is a relationship between behavioral patterns with malariaincidence.Efforts that can be done, among others, control the factors causing malaria such as the level of knowledge and behavior patterns as well as increasing the extension of public awareness.

Pelaksanaan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (Studi Kasus pada SMA Negeri 2 Katingan Hilir)

This study aims to: (1) To find out the implementation of school-based management (2) To find out the organization in the development of the curriculum used in the implementation of school-based management in Katingan Hilir 2 High School. This research was conducted in 2 (two) months, taking place at Katingan Hilir 2 High School, located on Tjilik Riwut km 2.5 road, Kasongan Lama Village. The method used in conducting this research is qualitative with the type of case study. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. To test the objectivity and validity of the data used triangulation techniques, using reference materials, and holding member checks. Data analysis used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that at Katingan Hilir 2 High School in Katingan District the implementation of school-based management had gone well. Because this can be done well because of the collaboration between the principal and the board of teachers and the school community.

Ex-situ conservation of Durio spp. at Bogor Botanic Gardens (West Java) and Katingan Botanic Gardens (Central Kalimantan)

Indonesia is one of the center diversity of Durio spp. of the world. Center for Plant Conservation Botanic Garden, known as Bogor Botanic Garden (BBG) as a member of Indonesian Botanic Gardens and Katingan Botanic Garden (KBG) as one of local/regional botanic garden are two institutions which have main role in conserving Indonesian native flora. Katingan BG alone has special theme for its collection, that is fruit plant of Kalimantan, Indonesia and other tropical areas. Bogor BG coordinated under Indonesian Institute of Sciences and has collected 10 identified species of Durio and other 14 unidentified species in the absence of fruits. Those plants collected from the forest around Kalimantan and Sumatera. Katingan BG is managed by regional government of Katingan District and has 7 species of Durio originated from the forest around Central Kalimantan. Few of the collection are endemic in Kalimantan. Furthermore, few species will be described its potential and rarity status based on IUCN Redlist.

POTENSI SAYUR ORGANIK LOKAL DAERAH RAWA DI KALIMANTAN TENGAH: “MANFAAT DAN TINGKAT KESUKAAN”

Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan Province has long time ago applied the local wisdom of healthy life and environmental friendly by consuming more local vegetables that grow wild. The research was conducted from July to September 2018, by conducting survey observations and interviewing respondents in Kapuas district, Pulang Pisau district, Katingan district, Gunung Mas district, and Palangka Raya city. There are a total of 14 species found from swamp areas, namely Singkah enyuh (Cocos nucifera), Singkah undus (Elaeis guineensis), Singkah hambie (Metroxylon sagu), singkah uwei (Calamus sp), Taya (Nauclea sp), Ujau (Bambusa sp), Bajei (Diplazium esculentum), Bakung (Crinum asiaticum), Kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris), Kujang (Colocasia esculenta), Uru mahamen (Neptunia olearecea), Pucuk teratai (Nymphae sp), Genjer (Limnocharis flava), dan Kangkung danum (Ipomoea aquatica). The benefits of local vegetables aside from being a food source that has the potential as a drug, pesticides, bioethanol and various other industrial materials. The majority of respondents aged over 40 years prefer vegetables (local) and food types were soup, while middle age (16-40 years) and young (under 16 years) can adapt to vegetables from outside and a new menu from outside Kalimantan. Factors for choosing the types of vegetables to be consumed are more influenced by taste reasons (54-86%), followed by habits (32-47%) and benefits for health (39-40%).

Accuracy and Spatial Pattern Assessment of Forest Cover Change Datasets in Central Kalimantan

The accurate information of forest cover change is important to measure the amount of carbon release and sink. The newly-available remote sensing based products and method such as Daichi Forest/Non-Forest (FNF), Global Forest Change (GFC) datasets and Semi-automatic Claslite systems offers the benefit to derive these information in a quick and simple manner. We measured the accuracy by constructing area-proportion error matrix from 388 random sample points and assessed the consistency analysis by looking at the spatial pattern of deforestation and regrowth from built-up area, roads, and rivers from 2010 – 2015 in Katingan district, Central Kalimantan. Accuracy assessment showed that those 3 datasets indicate low to medium accuracy level in which the highest accuracy was achieved by Claslite who produced 71 % ± 5 % of overall accuracy. The consistency analysis provides a similar spatial pattern of deforestation and regrowth measured from the road, river, and built-up area though their distance sensitivity are different one to another.

Cadangan Karbon pada �Kabun� di Kabupaten Katingan Kalimantan Tengah

Kabun is a traditional farming system commonly practiced by people in Katingan District, Central Kalimantan. Land management carried out by the people of Katingan District since long ago using shifting cultivation. This farming system is an agroforestry system. The existence of "kabun" is expected as one of the mitigations of climate change, by maintaining the vegetation in the "kabun." The purpose of this study is to predict carbon storage of "kabun" as well as the history of management in the Buntut Bali Village, Pulau Malan subdistrict, Katingan District, Central Kalimantan. This research was carried out destructively for understorey and litter, and nondestructive for tree biomass and woody necromasses were carried out in 3 observation plots. In the observation plot 1 was obtained carbon stocks of 88.915 tons/ha, the presence of tree biomass contributed to carbon reserves of 81.263 tons/ha; plot of observations of the 2 carbon stocks obtained was 66,928 tons / ha, the most significant contribution of carbon stocks came from tree biomass 61,209 tons/ha; The plot of observations of the 3 carbon stocks was obtained at 72,375 tons/ha, and the biomass contribution of trees was 65,643 tons / ha.

Implementasi Peraturan Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak Dan Gas Bumi Nomor 06 Tahun 2015 tentang Penyaluran Jenis Bahan Bakar Minyak Tertentu dan Jenis Bahan Bakar Khusus Penugasan pada Daerah Tanpa Penyalur di Kabupaten Katingan

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Regulation of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency Number 06 of 2015 concerning Distribution of Specific Types of Oil Fuels and Types of Fuels Specifically for Assignments to Areas without Distributors in Katingan District. The type of research used is qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis techniques. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants taken in this study were carried out using the snowball sampling technique. Based on the results of the research based on the results of research on the implementation of the Regulation of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency Number 06 of 2015 it can be concluded that the regulation cannot be implemented. This is indicated by the absence of the establishment of sub-distributors and the appointment of sub-distributors. Suggestions that researchers can give to the local government of Katingan Regency should consider the needs of regions with limited distribution so that researchers feel the need to establish sub-distributors that can empower community groups through cooperatives and Village-Owned Enterprises.

SISTEM PENUNJANG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN SISWA BERPRESTASI MENGGUNAKAN METODE WEIGHTED PRODUCT (STUDI KASUS :SMA MUHAMMADIYAH KECAMATAN KATINGAN TENGAH)

The selection of outstanding students at SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan Districtis conducted to appreciate the excellent students in order to be more motivated and activein learning activities. Building a website-based information system can apply the waterfallmethod and Weighted Product Method (WP) in its manufacture. The software developmentmethod used in making the support system for the students selection is the weighted productmethod (case study: SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan District) . This waterfallmethod according to Sommerville (2011) includes 5 (five) stages namely requirementdefinition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration andsystem settings, operation and maintenance.Application testing is conducted using the blackbox testing method, where the results of thetest can see that the overall website-based decision support system is functions properly.However, it is expected that this application can continue to be developed and optimized forits use in the future, especially in terms of available features.
