Pemberdayaan Masyarakat pada Kegiatan PKM Keagamaan di Masjid Baitul Muttaqin Desa Bulakan Kota Cilegon

Community empowerment is an effort to increase the strength and abilities of the community so that they can be more independent and develop their potential. One of the community empowerment activities in Bulakan Village, Cilegon City, is the religious activity of routine Islamic recitation. Community service in the religious sector at KKM 42 Bina Bangsa University through regular recitations at the Baitul Muttaqin Mosque in the Bulakan Village area, Cibeber District, Cilegon City, Banten Province as part of increasing religious harmony, strengthening Islamic brotherhood, and creating tolerance. This community empowerment is carried out through routine Islamic religious activities, namely routine recitations and religious counseling. This routine activity is followed by some fathers and young people who already understand and implement it in their daily lives. So this community empowerment activity needs to be intensified and improved further as a baton in facing developments in time and technology so that there is continued peace and prosperity.

The Role of Religious Education in Forming Social Consciousness

This research describes Islamic Religious Education as related to the lack of religious education for minority students. This research is qualitative research that uses a pedagogical approach. The data source in this research comes from interviews, while the parties interviewed were the principal, teachers, students and parents. Meanwhile, secondary data is taken from documents related to research. The research results show that a. Awareness of success can be seen from the practice or implementation of the school principal's plan regarding religious education, there is no prohibition on Muslim students from praying, in fact the school always holds Islamic religious activities. Social Success is seen from the elements found in the field, namely the relationship between teachers, teachers and students who appear close in intimacy without distinguishing between each other. The school's strategy in providing understanding of religion to Muslim students apart from teaching at school is through friendship by building communication with interfaith students leaders, religious institutions, educational institutions as well as through a socio-cultural approach and management of educational units to accept all Muslim to school without special requirements, and provide services to students regardless of ethnicity and religion.

Dynamics of Muslim and Catholic Communication in Building a Pluralist Village of Deliksari Semarang

The research aims to find out how the Deliksari Village community fosters the value of pluralism through communication. To gain a more comprehensive understanding, the author conducted field research using a phenomenological approach. To obtain information, the author conducted in-depth interviews with a number of religious figures, community leaders and the public. The results show that the pluralism that developed in Deliksari Village occurred because intense and harmonious communication was built by religious leaders and community leaders and there was no rejection from the community. Everyone works together to understand each other, both Muslim and Catholic communities discuss and deliberate to reach common ground when discussing a problem. In the researchers' findings, parents and religious leaders in the village provide a foundation for their children by involving children in reciting the Koran from an early age, learning prayer practices, and regular recitation for children. Apart from that, children are included in religious activities in the community, such as yasinan-tahlilan, IPNU-IPPNU, routine recitations for each RT, congregational prayers, grand recitations, and others. In major Islamic religious activities, church youth often take part, such as during recitations, etc. The interactions that occur in the Deliksari community are forms of interpersonal, inter-personal and group communication that alternate indirectly and are very intense.

Contribution of Islamic Religious Activities to the Social Intelligence of Adolescents with Gadget Addiction in Temanggung

This study aims to instill the value of social intelligence in teenagers addicted to gadgets and restore social order among adolescents. The influence of globalization has resulted in social inequality, coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic which shocked the world from 2019 to 2021. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of field research (field research) in case study groups. The results of the study show that youth activities play a very important role in the internalization of the value of social intelligence in adolescents addicted to gadgets. Karang Taruna activities that play a role include in the religious field, namely involvement in the administration of mosques, yasinan, sholawat tambourines. The social sector is the commemoration of national holidays, village arts, village libraries, and community service. Lastly in the health sector, namely sports and Youth PIK from activities above the value of social intelligence produced including situational awareness, presence, authenticity, clarity, and empathy.

Musicological analysis of the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in the musically-performed congregational worship

The Qur’anic recitation with melodious vocals and melodies has a significant role in implementing congregational prayers in a mosque. Musical recitation by a competent Imam can increase the worshipers’ comfort during the prayers. However, little is known to the general public about what is behind the beautiful recited voice. Some Muslims believe that the recitation of the Qur’an in prayer could not be included as music, even though some musicological aspects support its aesthetics. Although the artistic significance of the Qur’an’s recitation is not uncommon among Muslims and even contested openly, the musicological aspects of its recitation in congregational prayer rarely be discussed. The problem discussed in this study is what underlies the recitation of a trained Imam so that the worshippers sincerely feel comfort in following the congregational. This study aims to identify the scale modes within recited Qur’anic verses by the Imam during the congregational prayer at the Jogokariyan Mosque in Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative methods with a participating observation as its approach. The analysis unit of this study is the Al-Fatiha Chapter recitation by one of the best Imams of the mosque while leading the congregational prayers during the month of Ramadhan this year. Data disclosure uses musicological analysis involving field data recording transcription and theoretical methods. The research stage includes the field research process, transcription from the Qur’anic reading by the subject, theoretical analysis, and formulating findings. This study has resulted in an array of knowledge concerning the Imams and Muadzin management system and the characteristics of the Qur’anic recitation performed by the research subject. From a Western musicological perspective, the music transcription showed varieties of Qur’anic recitation tunes produced by the Imam within the framework of major and minor scale modes. The Imam clarified that the recitation implemented Islamic music theory known as maqam types. In conclusion, the Bayati maqam applied by the Imam resembles the Phrygian Mode of Medieval mode. Meanwhile, the Hijaz maqam resembles the Phrygian Dominant scale. Implication: While for some circles of Islamic society, music is controversial in reality, many valued aspects of Islamic religious activities can contribute to the development of musicological studies.

Kajian Dampak Pengembangan Islamic Center Terhadap Kondisi Sosial dan Lingkungan

The Islamic Center is the center of Islamic religious activities. Islamic centers emerged in America as a place for the growing American Muslim population. In Indonesia, there are quite well-known Islamic Centers such as the Jakarta Islamic Center, the Samarinda Islamic Center, and the West Nusa Tenggara Islamic Center. The Islamic center is a place that functions as a center for fostering and developing the Islamic religion, besides that it also functions as a space for the development of da'wah in the era of development.
 The construction of the Islamic Center in Surakarta City is a part of the construction of the Raya Zayed Mosque which has been completed. The construction of Masjid Raya Zayed and Solo Islamic Center came from a gift from the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Joko Widodo. The construction of the Islamic Center is in line with the policy direction of the 2021-2026 City of Surakarta RPJMD, which is to increase efforts to use and control spatial planning with indications of the Optimizing the development of the North Solo Region program. This will balance the development of the North Solo Region and the development of the South Solo Region. Politically, the bilateral Islamic center is a symbol of friendship. The Solo Islamic Center that will be built is a collaboration between the governments of the UAE and Indonesia; Symbolizes good relations between the two countries.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BIDANG KEAGAMAAN ISLAM DI KELURAHAN TIHU, KECAMATAN TELUK AMBON, PROVINSI MALUKU

The Community empowerment is an effort to provide strength and capability to the community to become self-sufficient and develop their potential. It is an effort to help the community improve their quality of life, whether in terms of religion, economy, or social aspects. One way of serving the community is through empowering them with Islamic religious activities. Community empowerment through Islamic religion in the Tihu Village, Teluk Ambon District, Maluku Province aims to increase religious awareness, strengthen religious values, develop skills, increase tolerance, and improve the welfare of the community. This community service activity is carried out by providing understanding and experience of Islamic religion that aligns with the values of goodness and truth. Community empowerment through Islamic religious activities is carried out through preaching, guidance, or religious counseling. Through these activities, 70% of the participants already understand and can implement worship activities, especially in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan. Therefore, community empowerment through Islamic religious activities needs to be continually encouraged and developed in building a peaceful and prosperous community harmony.

Relasi Manajemen Masjid dan Kegiatan Keagamaan Islam: Studi di Masjid Dawamul Ijtihad Semarang

This study aims to find out how mosque management improves Islamic religious activities and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing Islamic religious activities. Islamic religious activities at the Dawamul Ijtihad Mosque in Semarang. This research uses a qualitative method and a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. Analysis of data collection using (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) comparative analysis, and (4) drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data was carried out by (1) extending the observations, (2) increasing persistence, (3) using reference materials. Researchers obtained interview data with mosque administrators and members of the Dawamul Ijtihad Semarang Mosque. The results of this study indicate that the mosque management implemented at the Dawamul Ijtihad Mosque in Semarang is in accordance with the management functions carried out in managing Islamic religious activities at the mosque. Includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. In implementing mosque management there are several supporting factors, namely, good communication is established between administrators and the surrounding community. Secondly, mosque administrators have selected imams and teachers as well as reliable recitation speakers in order to increase Islamic religious activities. Third, the mosque has complete infrastructure and strategic layout of the mosque. But on the other hand there are also several inhibiting factors, namely, the lack of human resources and the younger generation who are interested in managing the mosque. Second, public awareness in the prosperity of mosques or participating in Islamic religious activities still needs to be increased

GEMBYUNG BUHUN ART PACKAGING IN A PERFORMANCE AT THE EDUCATIONAL TOURISM VILLAGE CISAAT-CIATER SUBANG REGENCY

Gembyung is a traditional art that uses large drums/tambourines as the main tool. Gembyung at the time of the performance displays traditional music and the music that is sung also contains sacred and solemn elements. This is firmly held by the Gembyung players to maintain the authenticity of the traditional arts passed down by their ancestors. Gembyung is a percussion instrument made of leather and wood. Based on the onomatopoeia (word follows sound), the word Gembyung comes from the sound of the percussion pattern gem (beat and hold) and byung (beat and release). At first the Gembyung Subang art developed in the pesantren environment. This Gembyung is usually performed at ceremonies of Islamic religious activities such as the commemoration of the Prophet's Birthday, Rajaban and Activities 1 Syuro which are held around places of worship. In the development of Gembyung, there has also been a change in the form of packaging in the presentation of performances as the goal of research on works of art. The research methodology is qualitative which is oriented towards works of art as a result of packaging products and innovative works, to be applied to performances in general in society.

Physical Distancing Visual Communication for Congregational Prayers as an Implementation of Health Protocols

Mosques are a place for physical activity that has great potential to become a cluster for the spread of the COVID-19 virus. At the beginning of the pandemic, mosques were prohibited from operating to carry out various Islamic religious activities, especially congregational prayers. Mosque administrators play a role in communicating the importance of maintaining a safe distance between prayers to contain the spread of the virus. Visual communication with distance markers between worshipers is an efficient way of implementing social distancing in the prayer room. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative for secondary data. The approach used is desk research. This research finds that there is no standard signage for physical distancing as an implementation of health protocol in the mosque. This is indicated by various signage configurations and approaches. There is a need for congregation prayer physical distancing visual signage standardization on a regional or national scale.

Indonesian Democracy and Islamic Religious Activities in the Age of "New Normal"

This paper discusses relations of democracy enforcement and religious freedom in the pandemic era of Covid-19 in Indonesia, especially Muslim. In the "new normal" climate, some believe that perhaps one of the best ways to stop the spread is to impose lockdowns. The centralized style of government typically adopts this policy. However, Indonesia does not implement this policy with various considerations. However, on the other hand, when democratic countries such as Indonesia want to impose restrictions on religious activities, this regulation seems a religious freedom limitation. In several cases at the beginning of Covid-19 that hit Indonesia in March, it was often connected to clusters of religious events involving many people. While the policy of restricting worship often drew protests from religious adherents. Against the backdrops of religious politics as the impact of the 2019 democratic party in the Presidential Election, this paper looks at how this phenomenon has become tremendously politicized and has a common thread between those who refused, ignored, and accepted, and even got involved to support government policy. Herein lies the government's importance in managing its citizens' awareness to fight Covid-19 without intending to restrict religious freedom and stopping the politicization of religion.

Islamic Center Design with Islamic Architecture Design Approach

At the time of the Prophet, the mosque was a center for worship activities and economic activities, learning, socio-politics, etc. From this mosque environment, great figures in Islam were born who were not only strong in religion but also intellectually and mentally. However, the mosque has decreased in function now so that it is only a place of prayer. This phenomenon also occurs in the city of Medan, which is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, with the majority of the population being Muslim. Therefore, Medan often becomes the center of various activities, including Islamic religious activities in the area. Unfortunately, Medan does not yet have adequate facilities that can accommodate various Islamic religious activities, so it needs an activity center known as an Islamic center. The design of the Islamic center in the city of Medan solves design problems with an approach methodology ranging from literature studies, site surveys, and design concept analysis. This Islamic center applies a design concept by taking Islamic values ​​that are not indifferent to the surrounding environment so that elements of the local culture are still considered. It is hoped that this Islamic center will not only be able to become a center of activity, especially Islamic religious activities in Medan, but also an area of ​​learning about Islamic and local values ​​in its design

Implementation Of Multicultural Education in Growing Tolerance Between Students in State Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru

<p align="center"><strong><em><span lang="EN-US">Abstract</span></em></strong><em></em></p><p><em><span lang="EN-US">Indonesia is a plural country with various ethnic groups, languages, religion, and culture. This is prone to friction such as conflicts between ethnicities, religion, and so on. This study aimed to know the implementation of multicultural education in growing tolerance between students in state Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru. This study used qualitative approach with case study type of research. The study was done from January 2020 until March 2020. Data was collected by in-depth interview, participant observation, and documentation technique. The informants in this study were 11 samples including the headmaster, teacher, and students. After obtaining the data, analysis was done through the series of reduction, display, and data verification. Meanwhile, validity test was done by triangulation. The result showed that the implementation of multicultural education in growing tolerance between students in state Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru through the school policy regulating that the rights of every student is equal, no obligation for non-Muslim female students to wear hijab, no obligation for non-Muslim students to attend Islamic religious activities, and religion subjects are customized to each religion, Muslim students learn Islamic studies, while non-Muslim students learn about their own religion, and they are free to learn religion studies in their own house of worship</span></em></p>

PENGARUH AGAMA TERHADAP KEBAHAGIAAN GENERASI MILENIAL DI INDONESIA DAN SINGAPURA

Happiness is not only related to money or wealth, but it can be influenced by religion. This article has a focus and purpose of exploring the views of the Indonesian and Singaporean people regarding the notion of happiness. This article also aims to see how respondents know the understanding of religion, the causes of human hearts that are sad or happy, and know the scientific basis of religion as a path to happiness. Also, to know how to be religious to achieve happiness. Qualitative and quantitative research is the research methods used in this paper—material obtained from guidelines, articles, and survey results. This paper's result is that human life's primary goal is to achieve prosperity and happiness in this world and the hereafter. The achievement of these two main goals must be based on religion because happiness belongs only to Allah. The results showed an influence between Islamic religious activities carried out on the happiness of the millennial generation in Indonesia and Singapore. Humans must uphold religious values to achieve this happiness because religion gives meaning to life. Happiness refers to a healthy heart to relate to Allah SWT as the owner of life. Being close to Him can make a heart calm and happy.

Religion at the Margins: Resistance to Secular Humanitarianism at the Rohingya Refugee Camps in Bangladesh

This paper joins the growing body of work on Human Rights and Religion and examines the impacts of religious practices in protecting the socioeconomic and cultural rights of Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh. Based on an empirical study at eight different camps in Kutupalong, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, this article documents how the refugees, through different Islamic religious activities and practices, protect their cultural identities, negotiate with the local governing agents, and maintain solidarity with the host communities in their camp lives. This article also describes how, in these camps, many secular humanitarian projects often get challenged, resisted, or rejected by the refugees since those fail to address their networked relations with religion. Drawing from a rich body of literature in forced migrations, socioeconomic human rights, and religious studies in the Global South, this article investigates how religion and religious activities cushion the refugees from different forms of marginalization that are often engendered by secular development agencies. This article further offers several insights for practitioners and policymakers to ensure socioeconomic and cultural integration in human rights activities in refugee camps in the Global South.

Islamisasi di Kota Surakarta dan Sekitarnya Masa Orde Baru: Sebuah Tinjauan Awal

This article discusses the spread of Islam in the city and the neighborhood of Surakarta, Central Java during the New Order period. The spread of Islam took place through massive Islamic religious activities, such as mass prayer. In addition, the expansion of the number of mosques and mushola (Islamic praying sites) indicates a massive expansion of the influence of Islam in the region. Based on data from newspapers and interviews with relevant informants of the time, this article found out that the spread of Islam in Surakarta was a political agenda set up by the New Order government in order to counter the remnants of Communist ideology, which was withheld by sympathizers of the then Indonesian Communist Party. This article concludes that the massive spread of Islam shaped Surakarta, which had been known as the center of syncretic Javanese culture, to become religious and the government’s fear of Communism could be reduced. However, the process also made a sharp dichotomy between Islamist-based and Javanese-based identity of the city.

WORSHIP FACILITY IMPROVEMENT IN KELURAHAN SEI KERAH HILIR I KECAMATAN MEDAN PERJUANGAN, KOTA MEDAN

Have been done community service activities such as the identification and provision of facilities requiring increased to accommodate Islamic religious activities, community involvement as a partner with which the Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) Serikat Amal Baik Mosque and SDIT Zahira school in Kelurahan Sei Kera Hilir I Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan, Kota Medan. Succession of transfer of energy-saving knowledge and training within the framework of Islamic spiritual education development in a sustainable manner. The concept of education link and match between the world of education with the implementation of direct education (practice) on the field is done in this activity by linking (linkage activity method) between SDIT educational activities by utilizing as part of religious practice is a real education. The result of this increase in worship facilities helped accommodate the nation's next generation of Islamic worship activities, SDIT Zahira students joined the surrounding community in an effort to promote the prosperity of Islam as well as preserving the architectural artifacts of the Amal Good Union mosque as the identity and landmark of Gang Sado, Medan.

Pembinaan Sosial-Keagamaan Lanjut Usia Dalam Membangun Konstruk Kesalehan Sosial

Tulisan ini adalah intisari dari hasil penelitian tentang pembinaan sosial-keagamaan lanjut usia (lansia) dalam membangun konstruk kesalehan sosial di Panti Sosial Lanjut Usia (PSLU) Bhakti Yuswa Lampung. Dalam kondisi yang tertekan, pemahaman keagamaan lansia memerlukan pembinaan agar mereka merasa dekat dengan Tuhan sehingga tentramlah hati dan perilakunya baik secara agama maupun sosial. Pembinaan sosial-keagamaan perlu dilakukan dengan tujuan mendidik dan mengarahkan lanjut usia agar mereka mampu mengadakan perubahan, perbaikan, peningkatan, dan pengalaman-pengalaman terhadap ajaran agama Islam sasuai dengan tuntunan al-Qur`an dan Hadist. Khususnya dalam berakhidah, beribadah, dan berinteraksi sosial. Fokus kajian penelitian ini adalah lanjut usia atau orang jompo di Panti Panti Sosial Lanjut Usia (PSLU) Bhakti Yuswa Lampung yang berusia 60 tahun keatas, tidak mampu mencari nafkah untuk keperluan hidup sehari-hari, tidak mempunyai sanak saudara yang dapat memberikan bantuan kelangsungan hidupnya. Panti Panti Sosial Lanjut Usia (PSLU) Bhakti Yuswa Lampung adalah sebuah unit pelaksanaan teknis Dinas Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan Sosial Tingkat Provinsi Lampung yang memberikan pelayanan kepada seluruh masyarakat khususnya yang kurang beruntung. Secara sosial dan cuma-cuma, panti ini memberikan pelayanan terhadap lanjut usia. Di tempat ini para lanjut usia mendapatkan cinta kasih, perawatan jasmani dan rohani, sehingga mereka dapat menikmati hari tuanya dan mendapatkan ketentraman lahir dan batin. Berdasarkan istilah tersebut maka penulis tegaskan bahwa maksud judul diatas adalah suatu penelitian tentang usaha atau kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh para pembina agama di Panti Panti Sosial Lanjut Usia (PSLU) Bhakti Yuswa Lampung yang berupa bimbingan terutama agama Islam yang diberikan kepada sekelompok lanjut usia dalam rangka memperbaiki dan meningkatkan sikap, perbuatan, dan tingkah laku agar selaras dan sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam.

Usrah Approach of Drug Addiction Treatment in a Fishermen Community: Psychology of Da’wah Perspective

The Psychology of da’wah (making an invitation) is part of the Islamic psychology approach based on the Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah. Da’wah in terms is invites people to do something benefit and abstain from evil. Psychology of da’wah is a part used in the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addiction to the drug addict. This article discusses the usrah (a meeting involving Islamic religious activities) approach as a means of assisting drug addict in fishermen communities to reduce addiction. The method used in this article is a qualitative study of past documentary literature review analysis and library document analysis. The result of the previous studies show that the psychology of da’wah through the usrah approach is one of the method to implement for rehabilitate the drug addict who ia a muslim. This is because this approach ia a based on Islamic teachings which has been implemented by the Messenger Muhammad Pbuh.
