This study attempts to investigate the health conditions in the city of Sulaymaniyah, through the generalhealth situation in Iraq and the impact of economic and political factors and government decisions that fallwithin the health services of the Iraqi individual.This study consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to the Iraqi government’s plan to manage thehealth sector, including the laws and finances allocated to this sector, as well as focusing on the internationalagreements in which Iraq has participated in the advancement of the health situation. The second part focused onthe health institutions in the city of Sulaymaniyah in terms of the numbers of hospitals and clinics and the capitalallocated to this sector, with mentioning the most important steps taken by the government to advance the sector.
