Nickel Price Projection Using Multivariate Regression Method and Investment Feasibility Analysis of Nickel Mining in Indonesia with Sensitivity Analysis and Monte Carlo

Nickel is one of the metals commonly used in various industries. Indonesia is one of the countries that has the largest nickel reserves in the world. Nickel prices will be formed through an equilibrium mechanism between production supply and nickel demand. This study will analyse the relationship between nickel price formation, supply, and demand. Nickel prices will also affect the feasibility of nickel mining investment in Indonesia. The data used in this study consists of market data derived from historical reports of the last 5 – 12 years (2010 – 2022) and mining plan assumptions derived from benchmarks with similar industries. The methods used in this analysis are multivariate regression, discounted cash flow, sensitivity analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation. The results of the analysis that have been carried out show the relationship between nickel supply and demand with prices, with estimated nickel price projection ranging from $16,750 / Ton – to $18,927 / Ton. The factors that most influence the feasibility of mining investment are nickel price, sales realization, water content, contractor costs, and fuel costs. The risk of nickel mining investment in Indonesia based on Monte Carlo simulations is estimated at around 11.36%. This shows that nickel mining investment in Indonesia is still very attractive.

Kelayakan Investasi dan Pola Pengembangan UMKM Berbasis Desa Wisata

Tourism villages are a government program designed to increase community potential and income based on local potential. The Barito Village area (Bambang, Bringin, and Pacokpicis) is a tourist village area still in development. Various activities carried out for the progress of the Barito Tourism Village Area are the establishment of economic destinations or MSMEs, which are expected to have an economic impact on community welfare and improve living standards. This research was carried out to provide an overview and direction to all parties in improving the welfare of the people of the Barito Village area through research formulations and objectives to analyze the feasibility of priority economic investments and determine the development pattern of Tourism Village-based MSMEs. The results of the identification carried out on the potential of existing MSMEs found 11 MSME units selected purposively from 58 samples. This research uses investment feasibility analysis, namely NPV (net present value), IRR value calculation, B/C ratio analysis, and payback period calculation. It analyzes descriptively in determining community-based development patterns for MSMEs. Based on the results that have been studied, five priority MSMEs forming the economy were obtained, which are suitable to continue sustainably because the NPV value is> 1. The IRR has a value greater than the existing interest rate. The BC ratio value is more than one, and the payback period follows the annual criteria: Biting Showroom, Barito Dairy Murni Industry, D'Ring Bringin Batik Showroom, The Rabbits of Barito, and Blacksmith Crafts. Meanwhile, the MSME development pattern is based on community-based development, which focuses on developing four aspects: growing economic aspects based on local wisdom, developing natural resource aspects, developing human resource aspects, and developing consumer or market development.

Evaluating urban mini plant factories: engineering and software cost perspectives for agriculture sustainability

Precision agriculture serves as a crucial solution to address the challenges of food security and agriculture sustainability. It provides significant benefits and enables effective monitoring of agriculture throughout the entire supply chain using a technology-driven approach that prioritizes internet connectivity and leverages big data. A noteworthy application of precision agriculture is the Mini Plant Factory, where plants are cultivated in closed systems with artificial lighting. The development of the Mini Plant Factory requires an economic feasibility analysis as a determinant of technology viability before widespread implementation, aiming to promote agriculture sustainability. The Software Cost Estimation Model (SCEM) assesses software development’s cost and time requirements. Engineering economics evaluates economic feasibility using metrics like NPV, BCR, IRR, PBP, and BEP methods. Function Point Analysis for UMPF software development estimates a cost of Rp 33,052,414, equivalent to 1,311 man-hours. Investment feasibility analysis considers the utilization of UMPF as viable, with an NPV of IDR 46,938,615, BCR of 1.08, IRR of 28%, and projected profitability within four years. Precision agriculture strategically addresses complex agricultural challenges, fostering sustainability with innovations such as the UMPF. The SCEM and engineering economics confirm the feasibility and rationale for implementing UMPF technology, providing essential insights for sustainable agricultural practices.

Analisis Kelayakan Usaha UMKM Batik di Surabaya Kriya Galery (SKG) Siola Tunjungan

The strategically placed Surabaya Kriya Gallery (SKG) Siola Tunjungan in the city center is one batik MSME that is gaining attention. Through the use of original designs, coloring methods, and marketing strategies, SKG Siola Tunjungan has worked to develop batik with a dash of originality and creativity. Nonetheless, a thorough feasibility study must be carried out to guarantee the company's survival and expansion. 
 The purpose of this study is to evaluate the SKG Siola Tunjungan Batik UMKM company's viability in Surabaya. Qualitative descriptive research is part of this study design. Interviews, documentation, and questionnaires are the methods used in this study to collect data. 
 Based on financial analysis using the feasibility Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C) which divides income by total costs. The highest value obtained was 0,89 and the lowest was 0,38, so the Batik UMKM business run by batik entrepreneurs in Surabaya Kriya Gallery (SKG) Siola Tunjungan was considered suitable to operate. Financial aspects are analyzed using Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) feasibility analysis which divides income by total costs. The highest value obtained was 1,89, while the lowest was 1,38. The financial aspect was also analyzed using Return On Investment (ROI) feasibility analysis, namely dividing the income by investment costs multiplied by 100. The highest value obtained was 0,85%, while the lowest was 0,66%.

Analisis Kelayakan Investasi Mesin Pencetak Adonan Guna Meningkatan Kapasitas Produksi pada UMKM Nek Wik di Bawean

UMKM Nek Wik is an UMKM that operates in the food sector, namely producing posot-posot which is a typical cracker from Bawean Island. In the production process, there is a process that is still done manually, namely the dough molding process, which takes a long time, making production slow and production targets and demand are sometimes not met, therefore it is necessary to procure a dough molding machine to speed up the production process and meet targets and consumer demands. With the addition of this dough molding machine, an investment feasibility analysis is needed to find out whether this dough molding machine is worth investing in or not. Based on the results of the analysis of the feasibility of investing in a dough molding machine at Nek Wik MSMEs, the following conclusion was obtained: from the calculation of the Net Present Value (NPV) a positive result of IDR was, which means NPV>0 so it is worth investing. From the results of the Internal Rate of Return calculation, a result of 43.45% was obtained, where this result was greater than the initial interest rate, namely 9.08%, so the investment was worth implementing. From the results of the Payback Period calculation, the investment value for the machine is 8.36 months or 251 days, meaning that because the payback period is less than the economic life of 5 years, the investment is feasible. From the results of the Profitability Index calculation, it is 1.43, which means the PI value is> 1, so the investment in purchasing a dough molding machine is feasible.

Scale Development of Aofa Farm Limousin Cattle Business Based on Investment Feasibility Analysis

Beef supply in Indonesia has not been able to reach demand. Currently, the need for livestock is increasing, so it is necessary to develop cattle farming. Aofa farm is a cattle farm that focuses on fattening limousine cattle that sells its products only during Eid al-Adha. Aofa farm plans to its business by increasing the number of cattle pens, increasing the number of limousine cattle, and purchasing concentrate feed. In addition, there was an increase in the price of limousine cattle seeds, an increase in feed prices, and a decrease in sales of limousine cattle. So necessary for it to analyze the feasibility of Aofa Farm's limousine cattle farm based on non-financial aspects financial aspects, and switching value analysis. The results of the feasibility of the non-financial aspects of the development of Aofa Farm are feasible to run based on descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis which shows the feasibility score on each non-financial aspect of more than 50 percent. The results of the financial aspect analysis obtained an NPV value of Rp 2,674,602,815, Net B/C of 8.39, IRR of 88.15 percent, and Payback Period of 2.26 years which shows that the Aofa Farm development plan is feasible to run based on financial aspects because the value obtained exceeds the eligibility criteria. The results of the switching value analysis show that Aofa Farm is sensitive to a decrease in limousine cattle sales.

Analysis of The Feasibility of Revitalization of The Type a Amplacing Terminal and The Performance of The Sisingamangaraja Road Section, Medan

The main objective of this research is to analyze and find out if the investment plan is profitable in the future so that it is feasible or not to be implemented. Apart from that, this research also aims to analyze the Operational Performance of the Sisingamngaraja Road Section which includes: Side Obstacles, Free Flow Speed, Travel Speed and Time, and Service Level. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews and observations. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from related agencies or services such as the Medan City Transportation Department. The analytical method used in this research uses two analytical tools, namely investment feasibility analysis and road segment performance analysis. The research results obtained from the Net Present Value for the next 10 years are IDR. 60,400,000. shows that it is feasible to revitalize the Amplas Type A Terminal. This can be proven from the investment acceptance criteria and the NPV method, namely if the calculation results show that the value is positive then the investment is worth implementing. From the calculation results, the IRR of 30.5% shows that the interest rate will equal the present value of the investment. With present value, the value of net cash receipts in the future. As a criterion for acceptance of this method, if the calculated interest rate is greater than the desired interest rate, the investment is accepted. In this case the interest rate is 20%, so the IRR of 30.5% is said to be feasible for the revitalization of the Amplas Type A Terminal. The Profitability Index (PI) is 1.10 (accepted) because PI > 1. From the results of the Payback Period calculation, the Payback period for the revitalization of the Amplas Type A Terminal is 22.2 years. This means it is shorter than the economic investment period, namely 35 years, so the Payback Period criteria for the revitalization of the Amplas Type A Terminal can be accepted because it is lower than the useful life period. The performance of the section on Jalan Sisingamngaraja by determining the size of the road capacity and traffic volume is known to still have problems with congestion during peak activity hours.

Feasibility Analysis of Investing in Additional Vehicles at An Egg Distributor

Business or investment feasibility analysis is research into a business plan that will analyze whether the investment to be made is feasible or not. Amalia Bintang Telur is located in the Cibitung area, Bekasi, West Java and has a branch located in Kalibata, South Jakarta which is the object of this research. This distributor has vehicles in the form of Grandmax type pick-up cars. The car's carrying capacity is 1800 kg. The problem faced by this distributor is that there are frequent delays due to a lack of vehicles for distribution, while there is high demand to be met. Usually, in dealing with these delays, distributors negotiate first with customers. If not addressed, the level of customer satisfaction with this distributor will decrease. There are several methods used to analyze the feasibility of an investment, namely, NPV, PP, Interest Rate (IRR) and Sum off Years Depreciation. It is concluded that the investment in adding a pick up car is worth doing, seen from the resulting positive NPV value of Rp. 942,260,893.38, based on the payback method this investment period is worth doing because the return occurs in the 1st year which produces a cumulative value of positive, the IRR investment method is worth investing in because the IRR value obtained is greater than the MARR used, namely 399% > 15%. For depreciation value, car prices tend to decrease every year. Feasibility Study of Chicken Slaughterhouse Business Investment

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of investing in a Poultry Slaughterhouse business at CV Rafika Foods Indonesia from a financial aspect. This research uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling. The investment feasibility analysis tools used are Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Average Rate of Return, Profitability Index, Break Event Point, Payback Period, Discounted Cash Flow, and Shutdown Point. The data obtained is primary data using interview techniques directly at the place of business. The calculations carried out resulted in a positive Net Present Value of IDR 16,098,182,271 and it was declared feasible. The result of the Internal Rate of Return of 358.120% was said to be feasible because it was greater than the Discount Rate. The Average Rate of Return of 958% was said to be feasible because it was more than 0%, the Profitability Index produces a calculation of 11.73 which is declared feasible because it is more than 1, Break Event Point on income of IDR 7,077,120,000 per year with a payback period of 1 year 1 month 13 days. Discounted Cash Flow calculation of IDR 21,360,209,670 and the results of the Shutdown Point analysis of the CV Rafika Foods Indonesia business with revenues of IDR 58,976,744,186 per year.

ANALISIS KELAYAKAN INVESTASI ALAT ROLL STREAPING PADA UKM MEKAR HANDCRAFT

UKM "Mekar Handcraft" produces woven bags. The initial process involves cutting the strings using a manual tool made of wooden blocks with nails. Predicting Investment Feasibility in Perumda Establishment Using Payback Period, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate Return

This study examines the feasibility of investing in the establishment of a Regional Public Company in the field of rice distributors in the Yahukimo Regency, Papua. The investment feasibility analysis used consists of evaluating the payback period, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate Return. The analysis is also combined with various possible conditions, namely pessimistic, moderate and optimistic conditions. The type of data used is secondary data with a qualitative descriptive research approach. The results of the study show that the attitude of PERUMDA of Yahukimo district in the field of rice distribution is that the Payback Period, NPV, and IRR values show that they are feasible. The feasibility of investing in PERUMDA as a rice distributor is feasible in optimistic, moderate and pessimistic conditions. The establishment of the New PERUMDA will contribute to the absorption of rice production by the Yahukimo Regency community as a business process on the upstream side. Financial Planning Strategy of "Container Villa Rental Company in the Mountains" in Indonesia

The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia has presented new business opportunities, including in the field of container villa rental in mountainous areas. This business promises attractive potential, but is also faced with various challenges related to proper financial planning. This research aims to analyze and understand the financial planning strategies adopted by container villa rental companies in Indonesia's mountainous regions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data in this study was collected through in-depth interviews with relevant parties in the container villa rental company, including financial management and other decision makers. In addition, data is also collected through document studies, namely financial reports, budgets, and company business plans. The collected data will be analyzed with a qualitative approach. The results show that financial planning for container villa rental companies in the mountains in Indonesia needs to be done systematically and structured. Financial planning in villa container rental companies in the mountains includes financial goals and objectives, financial planning elements, financial projections, investment feasibility analysis, and financial performance analysis.

Studi Kelayakan Bisnis Umkm Kota Tangerang (Studi Kasus Usaha Soto Daging Sapi “Mbah Man” Kondang Rasa)

UMKM Soto Beef "Mbah Man" Kondang Rasa is one of the MSMEs in Tangerang City engaged in culinary. In business development, it is necessary to analyze the feasibility of investment with a financial aspect approach and technical feasibility with a technical aspect approach which will ultimately produce an assessment or decision whether this business should be developed or not. Data collection method with direct observation and interview and data processing by tabulating data that refers to the calculation of aspects of investment feasibility analysis, namely Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index (PI) as well as technical aspect approach analysis. The results of the technical aspect approach are declared feasible in determining the location, layout and readiness of machines, the best inventory methods, and the need for labor. Business Feasibility Study Analysis of Dyora Raincoat Bandar Batang

This journal discusses the feasibility analysis of Dyora Raincoat business, a company engaged in the production and sale of raincoats. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of Dyora Raincoat business in terms of finance, market, and management. The research methods used are SWOT analysis and investment feasibility analysis. The survey data indicated that approximately 85% of the respondents regularly use raincoats in their daily activities, indicating a large market for raincoat products in Batang District. The analysis also showed that Dyora Raincoat has great potential for development due to itssignificant market share, outstanding product advantages, and appropriate marketing strategies. However, there are several risks that need to be considered, such as intense competition, high production costs, and fluctuations in raw material prices. Therefore, the company needs to take appropriate measures to address these risks in order to strengthen the feasibility of Dyora Raincoat business in the future

Analisa Kelayakan Investasi Proyek Moda Transportasi Masal Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jabodebek

This journal aims to analyze the feasibility of investing in mass transportation development project in Indonesia, specifically LRT Jabodebek project using Capital Budgeting method. The author conducted an investment feasibility analysis using four Capital Budgeting methods, which consist of Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). In addition, there is also a sensitivity analysis to measure the impact of important variable changes on the analysis results. The analysis results show that the LRT Jabodebek project is a feasible project to continue, which indicated by PP duration of 22.59 years, NPV above 11 trillions rupiahs, PI of 1.42, and IRR of 8.09%. Sensitivity analysis shows that LRT Jabodebek project is still in the feasible category after being recalculated by applying several scenarios. This journal is expected to have significant implications for decision-makers and stakeholders in the public transportation investment sector in Indonesia.

Cost management of power grid transmission and substation project based on BIM technology

Abstract With the rapid development of China’s electric power industry, the cost management of electric power projects, which is closely related to the power grid transmission and substation projects, has become more and more important. Do a good investment feasibility analysis of power projects. Optimize power engineering design. Reasonable determination of power project cost and effective control of power project cost are the main problems to be solved by the project cost management of power grid transmission and transformation projects. In this paper, DCN-BIM model is established based on DCN algorithm as the theory. A detailed calculation and analysis of the influencing factors and stage share of the cost management of power grid transmission and substation projects is carried out. Through calculation, it can be seen that the share of power products in the project cost is about 15.43% due to their special characteristics. The lowest cost share in the project cost is the project tender. Its share is only 10.03%. The highest cost share is for equipment materials. Its cost share is as high as 51.34%. The design phase accounted for 23% of the cost. The lowest cost share in the bidding phase was only 21%.

ANALISIS KELAYAKAN INVESTASI PADA KEGIATAN BATUBARA KUD SINAMAR SAKATO DENGAN METODA NPV

KUD Sinamar Sakato is one of the companies engaged in coal mining using an open pit system. The company has total reserves of 8,431,610 million tonnes. Mining at this company began in January 2021 with a production target of 400,000 tons of coal per year, but only reached 200,000 tons of coal in December 2021. KUD Sinamar Sakato realizes that mining companies require a lot of money, so an investment feasibility analysis is needed to determine whether the mine is economically feasible. , technical and environmental. The method used in this study is to use the Net Present Value. The NPV value in this study is greater than 0 or Rp. 496,473,602,258.14, which means that the project investment is considered feasible or profitable. The PBP value required by the company for return on investment is 2.13 years. The results of this investment feasibility analysis are profitable so that they can become a reference for the company to continue the project.
