These proceedings contain the peer-reviewed full papers presented at the 5th International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (ICMASS), held November 8-9, 2023, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. ICMASS is the conference where leading industry and academia meet to discuss and advance the latest in science and technology in maritime autonomous surface ships. The conference features contributions with clear technical applications as well as more application-oriented results.The theme of this year’s ICMASS is “Autonomy for Sustainable & Green Shipping”, featuring over 50 contributions covering topics such as AI & autonomy, onboard control, remote & shore control, smart ships as part of smart logistics, market uptake, safety evaluations, multi-vessel interactions, collision avoidance, regulatory & legal frameworks, as well as discussions on liability. The 7th International Conference on Mechanical, Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering (ICMAA 2023) was held virtually from February 24-26, 2023. On behalf of the Organizing Committee of this Conference, it is my great pleasure and honor to introduce the proceedings of ICMAA 2023.The proceedings include a variety of advanced research topics which were presented in the conference. Full papers submissions were blind peer-reviewed by at least two experts from the International Program Committee in order to ensure high quality standard of research. The papers are evaluated on the basis of their originality, innovation, technical value, and applicability. The selection process followed strict criteria and consequently only 28 full papers were selected and accepted for publishing.ICMAA2023 Conference Committee has chosen Zoom as the virtual platform and invited authors to give oral presentations based on their research works, followed by a short Q&A part. Before the Conference, all the authors are to prepare and submit videos as backups in case of unexpected technical issues. In the Conference, oral sessions were well organized with participation of scientists from all over the world. They actively discussed about Modern manufacturing system and technology, Mechanical structure design and strength analysis, Friction and material life analysis, Power machinery and system simulation and etc.The success of the Conference is in a large way attributed to the expertise and experience of the thematic coordinators in promoting and coordinating the overall organization and smooth running of the Conference. Project leader(s) in each branch has put much time and effort into soliciting papers from relevant researchers for presentation at the conference. The chairperson of each session has helped ensure a lively discussion during the Q & A and kept to the time allocation. The 2nd International Conference on Advances in Modern Physics Sciences and Engineering Technology - PSET 2023 has been held on April 29th-30th, 2023, in Wuhan, China. This conference is organized by the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China, and the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), in collaboration with Wuhan University, China, University of Huddersfield, UK, University of Messina, Italy, and University of Ferrara, Italy.The primary goal of this conference is to provide a platform for presenting the latest advancements and research findings in engineering technology and applied physics from around the world. We aspire to foster research opportunities and collaborations that will help to advance the fields of modern physics sciences and technologies, particularly for young scientists and engineers.This volume of proceedings comprises comprehensive research papers, experience reports, and empirical studies contributed by scholars from around the world. In total, 75 papers submitted to PSET2023 and 50 papers underwent a meticulous peer-review process, with each paper being evaluated by at least one expert in the relevant field. Following rigorous assessment for quality and originality, finally, 31 papers were chosen for inclusion in this volume for publication. These papers include research and development in various areas such as mechanical and materials science, industrial engineering technology and applications, simulation, modelling and optimization technologies. The conference showcased numerous informative technical papers, including groundbreaking research presented by participants from various institutions. It is truly my pleasure to welcome all of you to join 2022 3rd International Conference on Electronic Engineering and Signal Processing (EESP 2022). EESP aims to promote the research exchange in the field of Electronic Engineering and Signal Processing. Due to the global situation regarding the Covid 19 pandemic, the EESP 2022, which was planned to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, August 28-30, 2022, we decided to hold a hybrid conference during the same time period. Not only EESP 2022 publicizes many state-of-art papers in the mentioned research areas recommended by renowned international program committee, organized by distinguished scholars around the globe, it also holds several keynote and plenary talks presented by world-renowned researchers. The success of EESP 2022 certainly paves the path for a better event in the future.I was honored to join this important event. First, I would like to take this opportunity to convey my appreciation to the organizing committee for tireless efforts to manage this convention. This conference focuses on the latest research results in electronic engineering and signal processing, and provides an authoritative international exchange platform for researchers in related fields, so as to promote stimulating academic exchanges among scholars.  ICAMM 2023 received 12 abstracts and 55 papers submitted for presentation and was attended by 69 delegates from around the world. All submissions were peer reviewed by the international program committee on the basis of full manuscripts. Acceptance will be based on quality, originality and relevance.

Selected papers from the 25th edition of the International Conference on Spectral Line Shapes (ICSLS 2022) The 25th edition of the International Conference on Spectral Line Shapes (ICSLS 2022) was held inside the wonderful Monumental Complex of Belvedere di San Leucio, in Caserta, south of Italy, from 19 to 24 June 2022. Initially scheduled for June 2020, it was postponed by two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.ICSLS 2022 has brought together, in person, researchers from universities and institutions to stimulate new activities in those fields in which the analysis of spectral line shapes is of the utmost importance, including atomic and molecular physics, precision spectroscopy and fundamental metrology, plasma physics, astronomical spectroscopy, spectroscopy of planetary atmospheres and exoplanets, applications of spectroscopy to environmental, medical and industrial domains. There have been roughly 70 participants from 18 different countries, including Brazil, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, and USA. The scientific programme of the Conference consisted of 17 invited lectures, 28 selected talks and 29 poster presentations organised into two poster sessions. The traditional biannual International School on Condensed Matter Physics was held in the Black Sea resort Saints Constantine and Helena for the 22nd time from August 29th – September 2nd, 2022. This year’s edition commemorated the 50th anniversary of G. Nadjakov Institute of Solid State Physics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The main aim of the organizers was to keep the 42 years tradition alive and provide an attractive arena for renowned researchers and early stage scientists to discuss issues, challenges, and findings in broad interdisciplinary areas. The 2022 event was themed “State of the Art in Functional Materials & Technologies” indicating the need for continuous discussions on fundamental studies and technological applications of functional materials along with the traditionally covered topics, such as characterization of novel materials, materials processing, soft matter physics and applications.The School included two memorial, 21 invited and 12 oral lectures, as well as 59 posters that presented different studies in functional materials and technologies. We are indebted to our speakers and participants for their commitment and the thought-provoking contributions. A Technology-Enhanced ‘Assessment System for Teaching and Assessment using a Computer Algebra Kernel’ (STACK)

After two years of online meetings we had the great pleasure to host the meeting of the STACK Community 2022 at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben in Austria in a hybrid setting. STACK (System for Teaching and Assessment using a Computer algebra Kernel) allows for a wide variety of technology-enhanced teaching, learning and assessment approaches. The accelerated significance of this approach over the last couple of years has been impressively demonstrated at the 2022 community meeting. The best contributions to the meeting have been carefully selected by an international program committee and are collected in this special issue.

CABE 2021 was hosted by Biodiversity of Fishery and Marine Center LPPM UBT.The conference is organized by the Research and Community Services Center of Borneo Tarakan University, Indonesia. The primary objective of The CABE 2021 is to promote effective interaction and cooperation among scientists and technicians who are involved in agriculture research and development in the world with the view of encouraging and facilitating research activity, implementing research findings, sharing of information and publication of research results. The CABE 2021 focuses on both theory, design and applications. In addition to the technical sessions, there will be invited sessions, panel sessions and keynote addresses.At the moment, we are facing a new situation that has never happened before, the Global Pandemic caused by Coronavirus Disease of 2019 (Covid-2019). This issue has affected the lives of people globally, Including the lives of academics in education. The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented phenomenon for us all. The situation is continually evolving, and we must face new challenges every day. With the appeal above, the International conference on Conference on Climate Change, Agriculture, Biodiversity, and Environtment Study has been switch into virtually mode. Originally the coference was planned in a physical conference. However, until mid-September 2021, the conditions for Covid-19 were not normal. The participants really need the publication results as an annual performance report. In this case, all participants refuse if the conference is postponed. At 23-24 December 2021, all participants were invited virtually for preparation and simulation. In the conference day, all committee were organizing the conference in virtually using zoom application from Tarakan, Kalimantan, Indonesia. The structure were similar with the physical conference as indicated in the following conference program. The keynote speakers session was cunducted in the morning and continued with parallel sessions after lunch break. In the parallel session, each participant was preset their paper for 15 minutes including questions and answers. The 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Technology and Management for Sustainable Agroindustry (ITaMSA 2021) is a platform for academics, business actors, policy makers, and other practitioners who are engaged and have a vision to develop sustainable agroindustry. The 2nd ITaMSA is organized by the Department of Agro-industrial Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia in collaboration with the Indonesian Agroindustry Association (AGRIN), Indonesia.The mission of AGRIN is to promote agro-industry as a driver of economic growth and equity in the era of globalization, through active participation as mediators, facilitators, and accelerators of sustainable agro-industry development in Indonesia. In line with this mission, AGRIN together with the Department of Agroindustrial Technology of IPB University held the 2nd ITaMSA.The 2nd ITaMSA was held online from 25-26 October 2021. CEESD & WSM 2021 is co-organized by the Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering (APISE) and the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS). The conference strives to offer networking opportunities among leading scientists, engineers, and researchers, as well as industrial partners in environmental science and engineering.CEESD has been held for 5 years since 2016 with 5 successful conferences in Sanya, Koh Samui, Penang, Xiamen, and virtually in 2020, attracting a large number of researchers and students from many countries.
