In order to improve the quality of education in Russia, standards are regularly updated, competencies are refined, new technologies for measuring quality are being introduced, and the mechanisms for interaction with stakeholders in the educational process are being revised. This study analyses the satisfaction level of students, who are the key stakeholders in the university ecosystem, as a factor influencing the quality of education. In particular, thanks to the analysis of the Russian and international academic publications from Google Scholar, Scopus, Cyberleninka and Science Index, main elements of the university ecosystem were identified, and the level of student satisfaction with these elements was evaluated, based on the results of survey conducted to evaluate the satisfaction level with the quality of the educational program. The paper presents the components of the “student satisfaction” parameter in the context of measuring the quality of education for the Bachelor’s degree program in linguistics at the Department of Modern Languages and Communication at the University of Science and Technology MISIS. The survey was conducted among senior students majoring in teaching in May 2022 (N=102, 68% in total). The results of the survey confirmed the authors' hypothesis about the applicability of the ecosystem approach to measuring the level of student satisfaction in assessing the quality of the program. Thus, the novelty of the research results and the practical value are in the finding that assessment of the level of student satisfaction with key elements of the university ecosystem allows not only to analyze the current state of the educational process, but also to devise a management strategy in order to enhance both the level of student satisfaction and the quality of education program in general.
