The Influence of Internal Factors of Utilization of Posyandu Toddlers in the Working Area of the Sipiongot Health Center, Padang Lawas Utara Regency

Background: Posyandu is an important means of disease prevention and monitoring of the growth of toddlers. However, the level of community participation in Posyandu still varies, which is allegedly influenced by several internal factors. Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of internal factors on the utilization of Posyandu for toddlers in the working area of the Sipiongot Health Center, Padang Lawas Utara Regency. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study design on mothers under five who used Posyandu Madya and Purnama services in the working area of the Sipiongot Health Center. The sample was taken by accidental sampling technique for 60 days, involving 81 mothers under five. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to mothers of toddlers who came to the Posyandu. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square method and logistic regression. Results: This study showed that internal factors such as education (p = 0.001), occupation (p = 0.001), and knowledge (p = 0.001) had a positive relationship with the utilization of Posyandu for toddlers. Of the three variables, knowledge shows the strongest influence on the utilization of Posyandu with an Exp(B) = 15.312 value. Conclusion: Internal factors have an important role in encouraging the use of Posyandu for toddlers. Therefore, increasing public knowledge and awareness about the benefits of Posyandu is urgently needed to ensure the optimization of sustainable health services for toddlers.

Maximizing research impact: strategies for securing competitive funding in research and development centers

PurposeThis study analyzes the effectiveness of research and development (R&D) organizations’ strategies for obtaining competitive international funding and the role of research management offices (RMOs) in this process. It examines the internal factors that influence the proactivity and effectiveness of R&D centers and provides a theoretical model for improving the fundraising capacity and, ultimately, the competitiveness and sustainability of these institutions.Design/methodology/approachThe study sample comprised Spanish public R&D centers in the health and biomedical sectors. Partial least squares were used in the analyses to ensure the robustness of the results.FindingsSeveral independent variables showed a significant impact on the proactivity and effectiveness of R&D centers. The dispersed priorities of R&D managers reduce proactivity and fundraising effectiveness. Incentives and RMO workload increase proactivity, but workload alone also improves effectiveness.Originality/valueThis study focuses on the management of health and biomedical R&D centers. It examines the influence of internal factors, such as managerial priorities, RMO incentives and RMO workload, on competitive international funding. These findings have significant theoretical and practical implications for the development of internationally applicable management strategies to enhance the effectiveness of research funding acquisition.

Comparative Analysis of Growth Performance, Morphological Development, and Physiological Condition in Three Romanian Cyprinus carpio Varieties and Koi: Implications for Aquaculture

This study investigates the influence of internal factors on growth dynamics in four Cyprinus carpio varieties, three Romanian strains (Frăsinet, Ineu, and Podu Iloaiei) and the Koi variety. Fish were measured for total length, maximum height, and weight at four ontogenic stages, namely 7 days post-hatch, 3 months (0⁺), 18 months old (1⁺), and 36 months (2⁺). Weight Gain (WG), Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Relative Growth Rate (RGR), Fulton’s condition factor, and the profile index were calculated and analyzed. Results revealed significant intervariety differences in growth performance and physiological condition across life stages. At the 2⁺ stage, Podu Iloaiei exhibited the highest WG (849.73 ± 4.09 g), while Koi showed the lowest (403.99 ± 14.21 g). Koi demonstrated a unique growth pattern, with the highest SGR (0.18 ± 0.00% day⁻1) and RGR (0.98 ± 0.05 g day⁻1) at the 2⁺ stage. Fulton’s condition factor varied markedly, with Frăsinet showing the highest value at 7 days post-hatch (149.57 ± 17.485) and Koi the lowest at the 1⁺ stage (0.63 ± 0.011). The profile index decreased with age in all varieties, with Podu Iloaiei showing the most dramatic change from 4.22 ± 0.149 at 7 days to 2.18 ± 0.004 at 2⁺. These findings highlight the complex interplay between genetic and developmental factors in carp varieties, offering new insights for tailored breeding programs and aquaculture practices.

Analysis of factors influencing family support for child safety seat legislation based on Probit-Adversarial Interpretive Structure model

Objectives In recent years, China’s motorization process has accelerated, urban road traffic has become increasingly complex, and the safety of children has become increasingly prominent. China aims to encourage the use of child safety seats (CSSs) and stipulates in the Law on the Protection of Minors that “Parents or other guardians of minors shall take measures, such as equipping child safety seats.” However, the utilization rate of such seats in China is still low (<5%, 2021), an important reason is the lack of mandatory legislation. This study focuses on developing cities in China that do not have mandatory legislation on the use of CSS, explores the factors that families support child seat legislation, and explores the impact of children’s feedback on the transmission of values within families and the use of CSS in family decisions. Methods Four hundred and eighty-two subjects in several neighborhoods in Changsha City participated in this survey through an online questionnaire. We use the data to do a Probit analysis to find the influencing factors of parental support for child safety seat legislation, and the Adversarial Interpretive Structure model is used to assess the hierarchy of the influencing factors and the relationship between the influence of internal factors. Results The results showed that educational level and children’s feedback are root cause factors; monthly family income, number of children, confidence level in CSS, number of cars, and others’ behavior are intermediate factors; gender, penalty support, and subjective perception expenditure are surface factors. Conclusion Finally, the results have focused recommendations for the direction of child safety seat legislation, focused recommendations for law enforcement, advocacy, and educational interventions, and recommendations for installation training before the use of CSS.

ANALISIS KINERJA PETANI JAHE MENGGUNAKAN STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING (Analysis Of Ginger Farmers' Performance Using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares In West Manggarai)

This research aims to analyze the factors influencing the performance of red ginger farmers in Wae Bangka and Wae Mowol Villages, Lembor District, West Manggarai Regency. Specifically, this study investigates the impact of internal and external factors on farmer performance, as well as the role of entrepreneurial orientation as a mediating variable. The results show that internal and external factors have a positive but insignificant effect on the performance of red ginger farmers. Analysis of the relationships between variables reveals that entrepreneurial orientation as a moderating variable has an influence on farmer performance. Furthermore, it was found that internal factors do not moderate the influence of external factors on farmer performance. This study also reveals the important role of entrepreneurial orientation as a mediator. Entrepreneurial orientation is proven to mediate the influence of internal factors on farmer performance. However, entrepreneurial orientation does not mediate the influence of external factors on the performance of red ginger farmers in the region. This research provides valuable insights into the dynamics affecting the performance of red ginger farmers in Wae Bangka and Wae Mowol Villages, and highlights the importance of developing entrepreneurial orientation in improving farmer performance.

THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO THE ASSESSMENT OF THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF BANKING INSTITUTIONS

The article considers the essence of the concept of ‘financial stability of a banking institution’. The external and internal factors of influence on the activities of commercial banks in the current socio-economic conditions of Ukraine are identified. It is noted that the leading role in ensuring financial stability belongs to the bank, subject to effective regulation and the use of internal methods to ensure financial stability. The existing methodological approaches to assessing the financial stability of banks used in domestic practice are analysed. It is noted that in order to ensure financial stability, it is necessary to regularly monitor and analyse vulnerabilities and risks of the financial system based on macroeconomic and prudential indicators, as well as to respond to them in a timely manner with appropriate measures. It is determined that the use of integrated approaches and the latest methods, such as econometric modelling, fuzzy set methods and graphical methods, allows obtaining a more detailed and accurate picture of the financial condition of banks and ensuring their effective management. It has been shown that the development and implementation of new methods and improvement of existing tools for analysing financial stability are extremely important for ensuring the stability and development of the banking sector. Effective financial stability management requires the use of modern methods and approaches that allow timely and accurate risk assessment and adaptation to dynamic conditions

This dissertation examines the effects of internal factors, education, and policy on the entrepreneurial behaviors of students in Guangdong Higher Vocational Colleges. The research delves into the impacts of entrepreneurial awareness, cognition, self-efficacy, and education, alongside the significant role of entrepreneurship policy in molding students' entrepreneurial intentions. A mixed-methods approach was employed, blending quantitative and qualitative analyses to explore these relationships thoroughly. Results indicate that internal factors such as entrepreneurial awareness and self-efficacy are significant predictors of entrepreneurial intentions. Entrepreneurship education is identified as a crucial factor that enhances students motivation and capabilities to partake in entrepreneurial activities. The study also underscores the substantial influence of governmental policies in fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Additionally, this research explores the moderating effects of socio-environmental factors and gender on the nexus between entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors, revealing a complex interplay among personal, educational, and policy-related elements. This dissertation contributes to the academic understanding of entrepreneurial behaviors in vocational college settings and offers practical recommendations for optimizing entrepreneurship education and policies to better support students entrepreneurial aspirations.

The article deals with the actual issues of assessing the development potential of the enterprise in the context of ensuring economic security. Economic security is crucial to any enterprise's sustainable functioning, especially in an unstable market environment and growing competition. To ensure the enterprise's long-term development, it is necessary to systematically assess its potential, considering internal and external influencing factors. The main approaches to assessing the development potential of the enterprise are analyzed. Among them, financial, economic, strategic, and managerial approaches stand out, each with advantages and disadvantages. Financial approaches focus on analyzing the company's financial statements and assessing its solvency, liquidity, and profitability. Economic approaches include the analysis of macroeconomic conditions in which the enterprise operates and its ability to adapt to changes in the external environment. Strategic approaches are focused on long-term planning of the enterprise's development and assessment of its competitiveness in the market. Management approaches involve analyzing the company's internal processes, the effectiveness of management decisions, and the organizational structure. The assessment of development potential is a multifaceted and comprehensive process that involves the analysis of various aspects of the enterprise's activity. It is not a simple task, but one that requires a thorough and all-encompassing approach. The methods of ensuring the economic security of the enterprise were studied. Ensuring economic security involves minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities for enterprise development. A systematic approach to assessing economic security, which involves a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of the enterprise's activity and their interrelationship, is proposed. A model for assessing the company's development potential is presented as a significant contribution to the field. This model, which considers the main factors and risks affecting the company's activities, is a valuable tool for enterprise development. In addition, recommendations for enhancing the economic security of the enterprise have been formulated.

‘찾아가는 평생교육’ 정책의 동형화와 탈동형화 현상 분석: ‘D자치구’ 사례를 중심으로

Objectives The purpose of this study is to reveal how the ‘visiting lifelong education’ policy is accepted, settled, and changed and developed in the region from the perspective of the isomorphism theory of sociological institutionalism. Methods To this end, the case of D Autonomous District, which introduced the nation's first “visiting lifelong education” policy in 2009, was selected, focusing on the “visiting lifelong education” policy adopted and promoted by most lifelong learning cities as a major policy, and the phenomenon of isomorphism and decoupling of policies was analyzed. As a research method, in-depth interviews (FGI) were conducted with public officials and lifelong educators who worked from the introduction of the ‘D Autonomous Region’ policy until recently, and internal and external policy data were collected and analyzed to understand policy performance and changes. Results As a result of the analysis, the ‘visiting lifelong education’ policy of ‘D Autonomous Region’ was forced isomorphism according to institutional pressure and resource dependence pursued by the lifelong learning city policy to realize a learning society, and imitative isomorphism occurred while benchmarking Japan's lifelong learning city case. In addition, within the organization in charge of policy projects, a normative isomorphism pattern was also found through networking between lifelong educators and external experts. On the other hand, as policies were stabilized and systematized, decoupling phenomena such as compromise on the imbalance between supply and demand, strategic avoidance to maintain the current system and operation method, and refusal to demand social change appeared. Conclusions Through the isomorphism theory, this study was able to find out how lifelong education policies are accepted, changed, developed, and stagnated in the region in social, institutional, and organizational interactions. In the process of policy implementation, strategically selected isomorphism and decoupling strategies according to internal and external influencing factors create new policy practices and lead to policy regression and stagnation. Therefore, strategic policy choices and changes that respond quickly to changes in the historical and social environment are necessary to ensure flexible policy operation and sustainability in response to the demands of the new era.

Modeling the Influence of Internal Factors on Vehicular Mobility Performance

Traffic mobility is significantly influenced by road conditions and the internal factors governing vehicular performance. Internal factors play a crucial role in vehicular mobility, influencing vehicles operate and performance. While existing vehicular mobility models primarily address external factors, external factors such as governor, engine, gear train and differential unit remain underexplored. This study formulates a comprehensive model to address this gap, focusing on the internal components that affect vehicular mobility. The proposed model employs both analytical and numerical methods to derive transfer functions for these subsystems using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB), aiming to capture the dynamic behavior of vehicles under various conditions. The model was evaluated by examining vehicle transaction times across different road surface qualities, measured by the International Roughness Index (IRI) values of 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0, and tractive forces ranging from 4500 N to 17750 N, with applied pedal forces of 50 N, 100 N, 150 N and 200 N. Results indicated that higher tractive forces lead to reduced transaction times, with IRI values of 3.5 m/km showing a decrease from 122.0 seconds to 31.0 seconds as tractive forces increased from 4500 N to 17750 N. Similarly, for IRI values of 2.0 m/km, the transaction times reduced from 67.5 seconds to 7.5 seconds under the same conditions. The analysis further demonstrated that increased applied pedal forces correspond to higher tractive forces, thereby enhancing vehicular mobility and performance. These findings highlight the critical role of internal factors in optimizing vehicular mobility and performance, suggesting that internal subsystem dynamics should be integrated into future mobility models for more accurate and comprehensive assessments.

Efficiency of financial support and factors influencing strategic emerging industries: Based on an empirical analysis of listed companies in China

This paper analyzes the characteristics and influence mechanisms of financial support for China’s strategic emerging industries. Using a sample of 356 listed companies across nine major industries, we conduct an in-depth analysis of the efficiency of financial support and its influencing factors. In addition, this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of financial support for strategic emerging industries based on the relevant theory of financial support for industry development. It clarifies the internal and external influencing factors. Based on the theoretical analysis, a two-stage empirical investigation was conducted: The data of 356 listed companies in strategic emerging industries from 2010 to 2022 were selected as a sample, and the data envelopment analysis (DEA) method was applied to measure efficiency. The influencing factors were then analyzed using a Tobit regression and an intermediate effects test.

The article outlines the features of political communication of local governments in the context of new information challenges and threats. The role of municipal administrations in the formation of the information field is determined by the example of the Saratov region. The tasks facing the heads of local administrations in the process of information and communication support of their professional activities in social networks are analyzed. The risk factors for information support of the activities of local governments in the modern information space are identified. The article also examines information threats related to both internal processes and external factors of influence that local administrations of both large and small municipalities have to work with in the information space. The author also defines a number of criteria and recommendations that contribute to reducing information risks and threats, which significantly improve the effectiveness of political communication of local governments.

Factors Influencing Public University’s Role in Community Transformation

Paucity of knowledge exists on the factors that influence the capacity of universities to transform communities, particularly in the Ugandan context. This study examined the internal factors that influence the capacity of Gulu University to contribute to community transformation in Gulu City in Northern Uganda. A cross-sectional study design was used while employing self-administered questionnaire to sample 390 households. Logistic regression model was used to evaluate the influence of internal factors on Gulu University’s role in transforming the surrounding communities. Findings revealed that scholarships by the university (p=.000), enterprises developed within the community through Gulu University’s engagement (p=.007), religious meetings for spiritual transformation (p=.036), and the teaching done at the university (p=.045) had a statistically significant influence on the university’s role in transforming the surrounding community in Gulu city. The study concludes that universities, the central government, and other stakeholders need to focus more on scholarships for further education, enterprise development, supporting the church, and teaching in the university to realise multiplied transformation of the surrounding communities

The problem that is used as the object of research is teacher performance which is seen to have decreased due to the change in the learning system from offline to online. This can cause the quality of education to decline. This research aims to analyze: 1). The Influence of Internal Factors on Teacher Performance. 2). The influence of internal factors on the quality of education. 3). The influence of external factors on teacher performance. 4). The influence of external factors on the quality of education. 5). The influence of teacher performance on the quality of education. 6). The influence of internal factors on the quality of education is mediated by teacher performance. 7). The influence of external factors on the quality of education is mediated by teacher performance. The data collection technique was using a questionnaire given to 85 respondents (teachers) from 3 schools, namely SMA Al Adzkar, SM AI Sinar Cendikia and Sekolah Alam Bintaro. The hypothesis used is Smart PLS ( Partial Least Square ). The research results show that: 1). The statistical value of internal factors on performance is 3.116 with a p value of 0.00 2 and a p value of less than 0.05, so it has a positive effect on teacher performance. 2). The statistical t value of internal factors on the quality of education is 3.277, the p value is 0.001 and the p value is more than 0.05, then positive influence on the quality of education. 3). The statistical t value of external factors on teacher performance is 2.561 with a p value of 0.011 or less than 0.05, so it has a positive effect on teacher performance. 4). The statistical value of external factors on the quality of education is 3.920 with a p value of 0.000 or a p value of more than 0.05, so it has a positive effect on the quality of education. 5). The statistical t value of teacher performance on the quality of education is equal to a p value of 0.022, so teacher performance has a positive effect on the quality of education. 6). The VAF value is 0.598, this shows that teacher performance is a partial mediator in the relationship between internal factors and the quality of education. 7). The VAF value is 0.631, this shows that teacher performance is a partial mediator in the relationship between external factors and the quality of education. The research conclusion is that, 1). There is a positive and significant influence of f actors internal on teacher performance. 2). There is a positive and significant influence of internal factors on the quality of education. 3). There is positive and significant influence external factors on teacher performance. 4) There is a positive and significant influence external factors on the quality of education. 5). There is a positive and significant influence on teacher performance to quality of education. 6) There is a positive and significant influence between internal factors on the quality of education with teacher performance as mediation. 7). There is a positive and significant influence between external factors on the quality of education and teacher performance as mediation.

FAKTOR INTERNAL DAN PERSEPSI IBU TENTANG PERAN PETUGAS KESEHATAN TERHADAP PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF

During the first 6 month period, newborns who are exclusively breastfed consume solely breast milk and abstain from any other form of nourishment, such as food or liquids, including water. The government Indonesia has pledged to attain a target proportion of exclusive breastfeeding, with a goal of reaching up to 80%. The X Community Health Centre in Malang City achieved a relatively low level of exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2022, with only 51.18%. This falls far short of the established target. Internal variables and the mother's opinion of the involvement of health personnel are influential in determining exclusive breastfeeding. The aims of this research were to analyses the influence of internal factors and maternal perspectives on the role of healthcare providers in promoting exclusive breastfeeding. This cross-sectional study was conducted in January-March 2024 at the X Health Centre Working Area in Malang City. The study utilized observational analytics. The study's sample consisted of one hundred moms with children older than six months. Chi-square test yields identify there wasn't significant association between employment also having multiple children (p-value&gt;0.05). However, various factors related to exclusive breastfeeding, like as age, education, family support, and mother's intellectual and perception about the role of health workers, were found to be significantly associated (p-value &lt;0.05). The multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression revealed that family support has a significant impact on exclusive breastfeeding. The p-value of 0.006 and an odds ratio of 26,595 indicate that family support increased the likelihood of exclusive breastfeeding by 26-fold.

Abstract The minimum wage, through the lens of its effects, is constantly under the scrutiny of the authorities, employers and employees. The paper analyzes how certain endogenous (specific to each state) and exogenous factors (such as the implementation of the Directive on ensuring adequate wages for workers in the Union) influence minimum wage policies and their evolution over time. This article explores the impact of the minimum wage from economic and social perspectives, mainly in terms of the labour market and poverty. The arguments for or against certain aspects of the minimum wage support the conclusions of the article reinforcing the idea of the need for the existence of an adequate minimum wage and reveal that, depending on the criteria considered for adoption and the way of implementation, it can be one of the most effective tools for intervention on the labour market and for protecting employees with incomes located at the bottom of the income pyramid.

EFL teachers' attitudes toward online teaching (ATOT): A theoretical review

The emergence of online teaching has sparked significant scholarly interest, particularly regarding English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers' attitudes toward online teaching (ATOT). This review comprehensively examines educators' attitudes toward online teaching, focusing on EFL contexts globally and within Iran. Drawing upon theoretical frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the review emphasizes the pivotal role of educators' attitudes in integrating technology into virtual learning environments. It highlights the influence of internal factors, such as beliefs about technology, and external factors, such as infrastructure and training. Additionally, the review identifies key constructs—knowledge, appreciation, proficiency, and responsiveness—derived from Martin et al. (2019), which underpin educators' readiness for online education. Studies underscore the importance of comprehensive training, support, and policies to enhance educators' digital competencies for effective technology integration. In the Iranian context, research reveals gender disparities and the impact of variables such as education level, work environment, experience, and age on attitudes, guiding targeted strategies for technology integration (Kianinezhad, 2023). This review contributes to understanding educators' attitudes toward online teaching and offers implications for enhancing technology integration in education through tailored professional development and supportive policies. It also suggests avenues for further research to explore emerging trends and address ongoing challenges in the dynamic landscape of online education.

Neural networks for intelligent multilevel control of artificial and natural objects based on data fusion: A survey

Today the tasks of complex artificial and natural objects control have come to the fore in the majority of subject domains. The efficiency and effectiveness of solving these tasks directly depends of the efficiency and effectiveness of data fusion (DF). Data fusion methods are designed to integrate data from multiple sources and transform it in order to produce more consistent, accurate, and useful information than that provided by any individual data source. Although DF has been extensively studied for a considerable period of time it is still hardly applicable in practice in the processes of the control of the real world objects with complex structure and behavior as the data produced by the objects is, in the majority of cases, heterogeneous, multimodal, and imperfect, has huge volume. To ensure proper response to the changes in the state and behavior of the controlled objects that can be caused by both internal and external influencing factors the data should be processed with high accuracy and with minimum delays. Despite the importance of the tasks of complex objects control till now there are no researches that clarify to what extent the DF problem has been solved from the perspective of its application in the processes of objects control based on the data received from the objects. In the survey we define the requirements to DF in the interests of the control of complex artificial and natural objects, consider the structure of the multilevel process of intelligent object control, identify the neural networks that can be used in the control process for data fusion. Despite the wide capabilities of the existing NN we reveal that they still do not meet all the requirements to DF for complex objects control. Based on the analysis of NN architectures, we define requirements for advanced NN architectures and discuss future research directions. To facilitate our literature analyses, we also perform conceptual exploration of collected papers with lattices of closed itemsets and implications from Formal Concept Analysis and Data Mining used for knowledge processing in similar large-scale studies.
