THE EFFECT OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING LEARNING MODELS ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF PPKN VII GRADE STUDENTS SMP PGRI MUMBULSARI

Project-based learning focuses on hands-on learning, real-life assignments, or at least integration of learning materials with the real life of everyday life. Online learning is intended to avoid direct contact between teachers and students and between students themselves with the intention of preventing transmission The respondents of this study were 65 students of class VII SMP PGRI Mumbulsari, and the research area was determined using a purposive sampling method. This research is a quantitative research with a causal design. Data collection tools use questionnaires, tests, and documentation as well as interview aids. The validity and reliability of the instrument and the degree of validity and reliability of the test. Instrumental analysis tests used: 1) Descriptive Test, 2) Normality Test, 3) Homogeneity Test. Test the hypothesis with: 1) t-test and 2) F-test. The research results show the following: 1) Signature value. From the project-based learning variable of 0.000, the result is a signal. > 0.05 means that there is a project-based learning model for learning outcomes, 2) signal value. From the online variable of 0.000, the conclusion is sig. > 0.05 means that there is an online learning model for learning outcomes, 3) The results of the Fcount 31,654 regression analysis obtained a signature. 0.000, because > 0.05, there are joint project-based learning and online learning models around student learning outcomes. The assumptions made in this study are that project-based learning and online learning can be applied properly in the teaching and learning process because they can affect learning outcomes

Integrasi Budaya Lokal dan Pendidikan Islam: Internalisasi Nilai Moral dalam Geguritan ”Nurani Peduli” pada Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Moral education plays an important role in forming superior human beings. This paper aims to describe the moral values ​​contained in poetry or Geguritan "Nurani Peduli" by Handoyo Wibowo and look at the process of internalizing these moral values ​​in students of the Baitul Huda Islamic elementary school Semarang city through the Javanese language course. In addition, this paper also aims to see the implications of internalizing these moral values ​​for students. This paper uses a qualitative-phenomenological type of research that uses students, teachers, and school principals as research subjects. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that: First, the moral values ​​contained in geguritan include harmony, wisdom, humility, awareness, and development of taste. Second, the internalization process is carried out in three stages, namely the information stage by providing material on the moral values ​​contained in Geguritan "Nurani Peduli", the appreciation stage through direction and guidance and exemplary students, and the value application stage by providing motivation and encouragement to students to apply good grades in the form of actions. Third, the implications of internalization can be seen from three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Characterized by the integration of learning materials with an attitude of empathy, awareness, tolerance, and a sense of responsibility in social life.

Efek Bahan Ajar IPA Terpadu Sistem Pernapasan dan Ekskresi Terintegrasi Strategi CTL pada Kinerja Akademik Siswa SMP

The 21st century demands quality human resources and they have good performance. The goal of the 21st century is to produce people who have the ability to think critically, have strong character, and use information and communication technology. This ability can be developed in the integrated science learning process. However, the implementation of integrated science learning in schools and the integration of learning materials in integrated science books were still low. The solution to the problem was to use integrated science learning material of the excretory and respiratory system with a CTL strategy known as relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring or REACT. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of using science learning material on the theme of the integrated excretory and respiratory system with REACT strategy to develop the academic performance of grade VIII students. The design of this research was a non-equivalent control group design with only posttest. The subject in this research was grade VIII students of SMPN 8 Padang. The instrument for collecting data consists of three parts, namely a multiple-choice written test to measure knowledge, an observation sheet to measure attitudes, and a performance assessment sheet to measure discovery skills.Research data for aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and discovery skills have a normal distribution and homogeneous variance. For this reason, a two-mean comparison test for two independent sample groups was used to determine differences in academic performance for these three aspects.The important result of this research is that the use of integrated science learning material with REACT strategy of the excretory and respiratory system theme has a significant effect on the academic performance of students in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and discovery skills

THE EFFECT OF INTEGRATED SCIENCE WORKSHEETS CONTAINING NEW LITERACY THEME OF RESPIRATORY HEALTH AND EXCRETION ON THE STUDENT’S COMPETENCE IN SMPN 25 PADANG

In the 2013 curriculum, science learning was implemented based on integration to improve student competency. However, the real conditions in schools show that the integration of learning materials in the worksheet and literacy integration that were applied was in the low category. The solution to overcome this problem is to use a integrated science worksheet containing new literacy theme of respiratory health and excretion. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of integrated science worksheet containing new literacy theme of respiratory health and excretion on the students competence in SMPN 25 Padang. This type of research used quasi experimental design with randomized control group posttest only design. The instrument used in this research consisted of observation sheet for attitude competency, written test for knowledge competency, and performance assessment for skill competency. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be stated that the use of integrated science worksheet containing literacy new has a significant influence on student competence. These results indicate that the use of integrated science worksheet containing new literacy theme of respiratory health and excretion is effectively applied in schools.

Need assessment of STEM education based based on local wisdom in junior high school

The aim of this study was to determine the various needs for the implementation of STEM learning based on local wisdom in junior high schools. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the study were 17 natural science teachers in Lampung and 32 second graders in Junior High School 1 Seputih Raman. The teachers was chosen by random sampling technique while students were selected using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection was carried out by a questionnaire and descriptive qualitative is used to analyse the data. With regard to various needs in STEM learning implementation based on local wisdom, the results of this study showed; (1) the need for innovation in the learning approach (2) the need for knowledge about various approaches including the STEM approach, and (3) the integration of learning material with local wisdom.

Scaffolding support through integration of learning material

The ever-growing amount of learning material poses a challenge to both learners and teachers. In order to perform a learning task, students often need to search for additional information. Inquiry might be hampered if they do not know what exactly to search for, especially if they lack prior knowledge in a domain. Furthermore, they might need to recall meta-information, e.g., the implicit links between learning resources or the location of an explanation within a document. In addition, their performance in a learning task might suffer from the constant need for further information. As the authoring of learning material is a time-intensive task, reusability of resources in different contexts should be enabled. In this paper, we present the ALMA-Yactul ecosystem, a holistic approach for student-centered integration of learning material. Based on semantic annotations, learners are provided with scaffolding support for retrieving material related to their current study task. This integration of resources is showcased in a variety of applications and domains, such as a plugin for an IDE or an enhanced sketchnoting app. Moreover, we show how Yactul, a gamified student response platform, can benefit from semantic annotations and integration of learning material. Additionally, teachers are provided with semi-automatic annotation support in the popular Office 365 suite to foster the reusability of their content. Apart from presenting the results of its usage in university classes, we also show how high school students without prior knowledge benefitted from this scaffolding support. A significantly better performance in resolving programming-related tasks could be observed compared to a traditional search process. Finally, the ecosystem is evaluated against a state-of-the-art technology integration model.

PENYUSUNAN BAHAN AJAR DENGAN PENGINTEGRASIAN KOMPETENSI LISTENING DAN SPEAKING BAGI MAHASISWA PBI

(Title: Development of Teaching Materials By Integrating Listening and Speaking Competency For PBI Students). This study aims to produce teaching material models by integrating listening and speaking competencies. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development). The research subjects were 5th semester students who had taken the Listening for Academic Purposes and Speaking for Academic Purposes courses. The integration of learning material in the Listening for Academic Purposes (LAP) and Speaking for Academic Purposes (SAP) courses for PBI students in semester 4 is very necessary. The steps that have been carried out in this study have reached the stage of needs analysis and have succeeded in identifying several important things needed in developing teaching materials such as types of texts, activities needed and liked by students, types of media that can be used, reaction patterns and assessments . The learning material in the LAP course is prioritized on providing exposure to prepare students to be able to produce appropriate speeches and expressions in the SAP class. Pengaruh bahan ajar IPA terpadu bermuatan keterampilan literasi tema gerak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terhadap kompetensi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Padang

The 21 st century education should be able to develop the literacy of students. In addition, the 2013 curriculum also requires science teaching to be conducted in an integrated patter so that students can learn actively, holistically, meaningfully, and authentically. But the real condition showed that the science teachers experience some difficulties in integrating among the branches of science, namely Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. The integration of learning material in science textbooks was still relatively low and the integration of literacy in science teaching only reading literacy. The solution to this problem is the application of integrated science learning materials by integrating the literacy skills. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of integrated science learning material by integrating literacy skills on the theme of motion in everyday life towards the competencies of grade VIII students in SMPN 8 Padang. The type of research was a quasi-experimental with randomized posttest-only control group design. The sampling technique used both purposive sampling and cluster random sampling. The instruments for collecting data were observation at t itude sheets for attitude competencies, written test sheets for knowledge competencies, and performance sheets for skills competencies. T he data of the research were analyzed by using the descriptive statistical analysis and two means comparison test. Based on data analysis, it can be stated that integrated science learning material by integrating the literacy skills on the theme of motion in everyday life has a significant effect on the competency of grade VIII students including aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills at the 95% confidence level. This result indicates that the use of integrated science learning material by integrating literacy skills on the theme of motion in everyday life is effective to be applied in a scientific approach.

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA SMP

This study aimed at developing an integrated curriculum of art and culture and developing a model of evaluating art and culture learning at Junior High Schools (SMP). This study was a Research and Development study consisting of some stages, i.e. survey, designing instrument, testing the instrument, drafting the model of evaluating art and culture learning, limited and extended validation for the model, implementation, and analysis of the effectiveness of the model. This study made use the experimental method with pre-test and post-test. Data analysis was carried out using multilevel analysis. The results of the study are: 1) the development of integrated curriculum puts the emphasize more on the integration of learning material for art and culture subject rather than on the curriculum; 2) the appropriate evaluation model of learning art and culture should contain: Context, which is based on the previous competency and the school cultural environment, Learning Design, which is based on the descriptions of context and target; Implementation and Monitoring, which are carried out continuously; Product Measurement which includes the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects; Decision Making, which is based on the product, and Recommendation in the form of learning that concerns imitation, creation, or originality

The Impact of Learner’s Prior Knowledge on Their Use of Chemistry Computer Simulations: A Case Study

It is complicated to design a computer simulation that adapts to students with different characteristics. This study documented cases that show how college students’ prior chemistry knowledge level affected their interaction with peers and their approach to solving problems with the use of computer simulations that were designed to learn electrochemistry. Students with different prior knowledge levels were found to use different approaches to solving problems with the use of computer simulations. In particular, the cases showed that students with a high level of prior knowledge tended to use the equations and formulas to accomplish the learning tasks and then use the computer simulations to confirm their predictions. Students with a low level of prior chemistry knowledge used the computer simulations as the main resources to accomplish their tasks. Considerations of individual differences and the integration of learning materials were suggested for further research on instructional use of computer simulations.
