We can now feel the use of technology in services in various sectors, one sector that is quite influential in human life which cannot be separated from the use of technology, namely in the education sector. Education is a stage where students are guided and directed to get quality education in accordance with the National Education Standards. Implementation and fulfillment of National Education Standards can be done from various perspectives, one of which is from a technological perspective. Currently, SMP Unggul Sakti Jambi does not yet have an integrated information system in carrying out academic operations, therefore an enterprise architecture design is needed to develop and build information systems and information technology at schools. Enterprise architecture has the meaning of defining, classifying, planning and designing the connectivity of the various components that make up an enterprise. This study uses the TOGAF ADM framework which is limited to the initialization, vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture stages. The result of this research is a blueprint for an integrated information system architecture design that can be used by schools to support the implementation of the National Education Standards in carrying out business processes.

BHiveSense: An integrated information system architecture for sustainable remote monitoring and management of apiaries based on IoT and microservices

Precision Beekeeping, a field of Precision Agriculture, is an apiary management strategy based on monitoring honeybee colonies to promote more sustainable resource usage and maximise productivity. The approach related to Precision Beekeeping is based on methodologies to mitigate the stress associated with human intervention in the colonies and the waste of resources. These goals are achieved by supporting the intervention and managing the beekeeper's timely and appropriate action at the colony's level. In recent years, the growth of IoT (Internet-of-Things) in Precision Agriculture has spurred several proposals to contribute to the paradigm of Precision Beekeeping, built on different technical concepts and with different production costs. This work proposes and describes an information systems architecture concept named BHiveSense, based on IoT and microservices, and different artefacts to demonstrate its concept: (1) a low-cost COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) hive sensing prototype, (2) a REST backend API, (3) a Web application, and (4) a Mobile application. This project delivers a solution for a more integrated and sustainable beekeeping activity. Our approach stresses that by adopting microservices and a REST architecture, it is possible to deal with long-standing problems concerning interoperability, scalability, agility, and maintenance issues, delivering an efficient beehive monitoring system.

Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Garut is currently still experiencing difficulties in managing information related to social welfare services, so it is necessary to strive for better information management, one form of implementation is by implementing a computer-based information system and technology. In information technology there are three interconnected parts, namely: hardware, software, and databases. Planning an integrated information system architecture and in accordance with the organization's business goals is one of the efforts to improve services in a better direction so that they can compete with other organizations. This study discusses the architectural planning of social welfare service information systems using Enterprise Architecuter Planning (EAP) which was developed and integrated with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF at Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Garut, where the discussion is focused on four stages, namely: business architecture planning, data architecture planning, application architecture planning, and technology architecture planning. The results of the research that has been carried out are recommendations for the development of information system architecture to support the improvement of public service performance and system integration into all parts of the organization.

Regional Secretary (SETDA) of Bandung City is a local government agency that has the main tasks and functions to Realize Public Services and Excellent Service Personnel to support the Vision of Bandung City as the Superior City of Bandung. The Regional Secretary of the City of Bandung is currently experiencing difficulties in managing information relating to asset investment and management, so it is necessary to strive to manage information better, one form of its application is through information systems using computer-based information technology. In information technology there are three interrelated parts, namely: hardware, software, and database. Integrated information system architecture planning and in accordance with the organization's business goals is one of the efforts to improve services in a better direction so that it is able to compete with other organizations. In this study discusses the planning of information systems architecture management assets in the general section and equipment of the City of Bandung, a case study in the Regional Secretary (SETDA) of the City of Bandung. The discussion of this research is emphasized in four stages, namely: business architecture planning, data architecture planning, application architecture planning, and technology architecture planning. The results of the research conducted are the planning of information systems architecture management in the Regional Secretary of the City of Bandung, in the form of recommendations for the development of information systems architecture to support the improvement of public service performance and system integration into all parts of the organization. Perancangan Arsitektur Sistem Informasi Pondok Pesantren Dengan The Open Group Architecture Framework (Togaf)

Islamic boarding school is a place of learning in which there are very many facilities and services. Good mastery of language, creativity, religion, leadership and all kinds of knowledge must already exist in the boarding school. The current condition of many Islamic boarding schools does not yet have a specific and integrated information system architecture in Islamic boarding schools in accordance with the needs and objectives of Islamic boarding schools, the cause is because Islamic boarding schools have not yet focused on the process of developing their information systems. Therefore we need an information system in Islamic boarding school. In this study the author raised the information system design of Islamic boarding school by using TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) with the Architecture Development Method (ADM) method. The output that can be achieved from the design of Islamic Boarding School Information System is to produce a model and basic framework (blue print) in developing integrated boarding school information systems to support the needs of Islamic Boarding Schools.

PEMODELAN ARSITEKTUR ENTERPRISE MENGGUNAKAN METODE TOGAF ADM (Studi Kasus: SMAN 1 WATUBANGGA)

SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga is one of the schools in Kolaka Regency that implement the flagship program, but the current condition of SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga does not have an integrated information system architecture according to the needs and objectives of the school, this problem arises because the school has not focused on the process development of information systems. Therefore it is necessary design of information system architecture SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. Architectural modeling in this research using TOGAF Framework (The Open Group Architecture Framework) with ADM (Architecture Development Methode) method. Stages used are the preparation of architectural vision, business architecture, information system architecture, technology architecture, opportunities and solutions and migration plans.The result of this enterprise architecture modeling is the blue print model and framework in integrated school information system modeling to support the needs of SMAN 1 Watubangga.

The goal of this work is to analyze information about main principles of creating information systems using service oriented architecture and create RA integrated information system conceptual model. The proposed system model was developed based on service oriented architecture, with additional description of main principles. Final part contains RA information system service oriented architecture conceptual model with development principles. Using knowledge gathered from analyzes and examinations performed in this work, author gives proposals for integrated information system architecture development principles.

Design of School Management Information System Based on the Indonesian National Education Standard

With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools’ organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

Intelligent Radioactive Waste Management Platform for Radioactive Waste Storage Facilities

Radioactive waste management is now a much discussed public issue, especially since the Taiwanese government announced that three operating nuclear power plants will be decommissioned on schedule. Safe, efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions to the management of radioactive wastes are critical to the feasibility of the nuclear decommissioning project. Because of the lack of system integration within radioactive waste storage facilities, most of the radioactive waste information systems remain inconsistent. Therefore, the establishment of an intelligent integrated system that provides active assistance in tracing the processes of radioactive wastes is urgent.This study is based on the technology of radio frequency identification for detection of radioactive waste locations. An automatic identification mechanism can monitor the status of storage and instantly notify the relevant parties. Meanwhile, this platform also employs the software agent as the infrastructure to construct the integrated information system architecture; the software agent has been widely accepted as an effective method to integrate heterogeneous systems of the new paradigm. The overall framework will help enhance the monitoring performance for radioactive waste.

Advanced planning and scheduling (APS) and enterprise planning system (ERP) planning reference models for Personal Computer assembly industry: A process perspective

Faced with fierce market competition, the life cycle of computer products is shorter than other products which caused the supply and demand changing quickly. If the PC assembly industries still adopted ERP for material planning, it cannot response to customer’s demands swiftly. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt the advanced planning and scheduling (APS) system. The goal of APS is to solve a complicated supply chain planning and scheduling question. This study discussed the related issues of APS system implementation for Personal Computer (PC) assembly industry and developed an implementation process of APS system. The research applied ARIS’s EPC model to establish the reference planning models of APS and ERP from the process perspective. Finally, we proposed the integration of APS and ERP reference model to information system implementation for the PC assembly industry. A reference model of RFID-enabled application for traceability of foods production and distribution

This paper employs architecture of integrated information system (ARIS) as the holistic modeling methodology for analyzing step-by-step processes and radio frequency identification (RFID) as the tracking device for recording all procedures in logistics. The major purpose of this study is to establish an information traceability system on agricultural product for coordination and quality control over production, distribution, and consumption. The proposed model incorporates EPCglobal NetworkTM standards to generate, integrate, and disseminate the comprehensive records of paddy rice among farmers, distributors, inspectors, and consumers. Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis Method and Management Information System Reengineering for Solving Vendor-Managed Inventory Bottlenecks in the Notebook Computer Industry

Due to increased uncertainties in corporate demands the vendor-managed inventory method was developed; however, relevant literature indicates that the vendor managed inventory system has bottlenecks in implementation. Thus, this study applied the Fuzzy Delphi Analytic Hierarchy Process for selecting objective attributes, and constructed a vendor managed objective hierarchy structure. Using ABC Classification, category A multi-objective attributes was selected. Dynamic multi-criteria decision analysis was used to analyze category A multi-objective attributes, as selected by different sectors in the first year. If all the objectives have quantitative attributes, multi-criteria programming was used to construct the model. Further, comparisons were conducted for the results obtained from the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm, the Particle swarm optimization method, and the modified multi-criteria planning method. Modified Data Envelopment Analysis was used for performance evaluation. ARIS (Architecture of Integrated Information System) analyzed relevant corporate process reengineering, and the decision results were incorporated into the management information system.

KM-oriented business process reengineering for construction firms

Abstract This study develops a KM-oriented BPR model by combining Knowledge Management (KM) with Business Process Reengineering (BPR). In addition to improving weak/complicated processes in construction firms, this integrated model merges KM on routine process operations, and therefore enhances business competitiveness and promotes company innovativeness. This study developed and represented business processes based on a modified Architecture of Integrated Information System (ARIS). Furthermore, this study pioneered the application of single- and double-loop KM learning to analyze business operation processes, allowing process effectiveness and service gaps to be identified via the knowledge/activity/process-target Achievement Matrix and Knowledge-Life-Cycle constructing sheet. A KM-oriented process was then redesigned and developed based on process analysis results. The research possibilities were identified and tested by validating the model using a real case study. This study establishes a new direction for future KM-oriented process reengineering research.

The design and analyses of customer relationship management using ARIS technique

The prosperous development of electronic commerce (EC) has led to the appearance of enterprise resource planning (ERP) – a new information system attractive to owners of various kinds of companies or academies. However, the new challenge of business processes lies in the addition of new customers and in the retaining of old customers. The new challenge, customer relationship management (CRM), is the motivation of this work. We intend to design and develop the new process models of a CRM information system. A selling process flow of jointed consumer cards for CRM structure is applied as an example to demonstrate the results. The Architecture of Integrated information System (ARIS) is applied to set up a CRM reference model. By this approach, all relationships among customers are analysed in the proposed CRM model. The advantage of our performance is derived when the proposed model is applied smoothly. Business process reengineering (BPR) is another advantage induced by the proposed ARIS model. We hope that the proposed CRM reference model, using software package developed by Epicor, can have various applications.
