Analysis of Local Characteristic Tourism based on Gray Prediction and BP Neural Networks

This study explores the strategy of utilizing online platforms to promote the recovery and development of the tourism industry against the background of the impact of the 2020 COVID-19 on the tourism industry. The development trend of Harbin's characteristic tour-ism industry was studied through college students' survey data, combined with multiple regression, gray prediction and BP neural network analysis methods. The results of the study show that combining network publicity with special tourism programs and attracting young people groups is the key, and suggestions for sustainable development are put forward. By helping the inheritance and innovation of local traditional culture, this study aims to promote the innovative development of tourism. This research framework provides theoretical and practical guidance for promoting the development of local tourism.

Theoretical aspects og the implementation of models of innovative development of Ukrainian tourist enterprises

The purpose of the article is to generalize, systematize, and analyze the leading theoretical approaches to the formation and implementation of innovative models at tourist enterprises, as well as to determine the features of the process of forming the innovation management strategy of a tourist enterprise. The methodological basis of the proposed article is a systematic approach using general scientific and special economic methods of cognition, for example: comparative analysis during research on the need to apply innovative marketing at tourist enterprises. Scientific novely. The current state and directions of innovative development of enterprises in the field of tourism were studied, the main directions of innovative development of enterprises in the field of tourism and recreation were determined. An innovative type of development of tourist enterprises is proposed through the formation of a generalmodel of innovative development, which will make it possible to conduct further research on the example of specific tourist enterprises and offer recommendations for its implementation. Conclusions. Social aspects were analyzed and organizational forms of innovative directions of development of tourist enterprises were identified, which cannot be implemented without ensuring the effective functioning of the relevant organizational forms, including state authorities and local self-government; scientific and educational institutions; local communities and other communities; tourist enterprises and organizations; institutions in the field of service, transport and other networks; technical service institutions, consulting organizations; destinations; mass media, etc. Mechanisms of implementation of administrative and management and informational directions of innovative development of tourism and recreation are considered in detail. It was determined that the main directions of innovation are related to ensuring higher efficiency of management processes, increasing consumer loyalty, brand formation, etc. At the same time, technological innovations come to the fore, which is associated with the rapid development of information and communication technologies and their wide application in this field.

Exploring the High-Quality Development of Smart City Tourism in the Information Age

Abstract This article discusses the high-level guidance strategy and deep-level value embodiment of tourism informatization construction for smart city tourism. Based on the existing evaluation system of intelligent city tourism development, the article utilizes BP neural network for data screening. It combines the entropy weight method to complete the index assignment, and evaluates and analyzes the development of innovative tourism services in six intelligent cities. In the area of brilliant tourism information service, Beijing scored 94%. In clever catering and accommodation services, Beijing leads with a score of 90%, while Nanjing and Chengdu rank second and third with scores of 81% and 80% respectively. Regarding overall innovative tourism development, Beijing scored 0.4731, 0.1762, and 0.1168 in terms of scientific and technological innovation, economic development, and general development security, respectively. In addition, the intelligent tourism development trend from 2018 to 2022 shows that Beijing’s tourism revenue will reach 622.46 billion yuan in 2022, which is 30.36 billion yuan more than the previous year. By evaluating the development of intelligent city tourism services through BP neural network, this paper effectively identifies the critical factors for developing clever tourism construction. It puts forward effective strategies to improve the level of intelligent services. These findings have important theoretical and practical significance for the development of intellectual city tourism field, and provide an essential reference for the further optimization of smart city tourism services.

Theoretical aspects of the innovative tourism development

The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that today innovation is necessary in many areas, including tourism. The developing tourism industry needs to find new approaches to increase its competitiveness. The ability to interest tourists in their activities is a guarantee of stable income and business development, which is also facilitated by innovations that will distinguish the company from others. The scale and dynamics of changes in innovation activities have determined the need for research, systematization and streamlining of scientific knowledge and approaches in this area. Thus, the object of the study was innovative processes in tourism. The purpose of the work is to reveal the essence and significance of innovative tourism. To do this, the article carried out a comprehensive analysis of existing approaches to the definition of the terms innovation, innovation, innovation process, innovation in the tourism industry. The scientific and practical significance lies in the fact that the results of the study can be used by scientists and students involved in research on the problem, tourism companies to develop and implement plans for the introduction of innovative products and services, as well as state and local executive bodies to develop strategic and tactical plans. development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan. The study is based on the methods of theoretical analysis: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. The study revealed the main features of innovation in the tourism industry. The result of the analysis was the author's definition of innovative tourism.

EVALUATION OF INNOVATIVE PRINCIPLES OF POST-WAR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF SOUTHERN UKRAINE

The article examines the problems of innovative development of tourism at the level of territorial communities in the modern realities of Ukrainian decentralization and promising post-war reconstruction. The tourism potential of three territorial communities of Southern Ukraine was analyzed using the adapted Community Capitals Framework methodology in order to index three main types of capital, which are essential for the formation of innovative tourism products: infrastructural, cultural, and natural. Two of the communities studied remain temporarily occupied pending the completion of the study, which was initiated before full-scale war in 2022. An assessment and methods of solving the main problems or obstacles for the development of innovative tourism activities in territorial communities in the post-war period are provided. A new approach to determining the most innovative type of tourism for a particular community is proposed, which should be developed in the context of achieving the goals of sustainable development and within the framework of the formation of sustainable tourist flows and self-governing tourist destinations. Communities are recommended to develop certain types of capital within the framework of post-war reconstruction.

Innovative tourism development in a Hungarian regional centre in the 1930s

ABSTRACT Before the First World War, Pécs, one of the most dynamically developing Hungarian cities, was the largest in the region of Transdanubia. The losses of the world war and the subsequent three-year Serbian occupation caused considerable damage to the city’s economic and social fabric. Besides presenting the economic background of Pécs, the current study also discusses the local boom in tourism, which was developing at a rapid clip in the 1930s. Recognizing the economic role of tourism, local leaders started to develop the sector, establishing the Tourism Committee and Tourism Office in 1933. An enticing promotion campaign was launched, accompanied by conscious product development, focusing primarily on cultural and ecotourism. The tourism product featured local heritage and the natural beauties of the Mecsek mountain range. A high standard characterised the design of venues, including accommodation and restaurants. New transit hubs were established: direct airline connections were inaugurated to Budapest and Kaposvár and a rail connection to Vienna opened. In making urban development decisions, factors taken into account included the needs of tourism, embracing such still fashionable activities as the integration of local products into the tourism supply. The developments of the 1930s have an impact even on the contemporary tourism of the city.

MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM ENTERPRISES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF STRENGTHENING OF GLOBALIZATION PROCESSES

The article summarizes the features of world tourism development in the context of strengthening of globalization processes. It is established that the process of managing the innovative development of tourism enterprises should be structured and consistent. The stages of coordination of the management system of innovative development of tourism enterprises with modern tendencies of globalization and functioning of world tourism are determined. Priority measures have been systematized, which will ensure the effective functioning of tourism enterprises and minimize the risks of current activity in the context of strengthening of globalization. Differentiation of priority directions for coordinating the management of innovative development of tourism enterprises with the processes of globalization of world tourism depending on their specialization is carried out. It is concluded that the implementation of the proposed tools for coordinating the management of innovative development of tourism enterprises in the context of globalization creates the preconditions for improving the efficiency of their resource potential under increasing competition in the global tourism market.

Research on the Interactive Development of Dong Village Cultural Heritage Protection and Night Tourism: a Case Study of Huangdu Dong Village in Hunan

Under the policy of cultural tourism integration, the huge economic and social benefits brought by night tourism are gradually recognized. Based on the compatibility, in response to the needs of cultural heritage protection and night tourism development in the Southwest Dong area, a driving mechanism for night tourism and cultural heritage live protection with the spirit of place as the core is proposed. Taking the Huangdu Dong Village in Hunan as an example, the research explored the traditional night culture of Dong Village, analysed the development status of night tourism, and proposed interactive development strategies for Dong Village night tourism and cultural heritage protection, which will help the destination resource allocation shift from space expansion to time expansion and accelerate its innovative development on the basis of the protection of the authenticity of cultural heritage. The research has certain reference significance for the survival of traditional culture and the innovative development of tourism in ethnic minority villages.

New Silk Road infrastructure opportunities in developing tourism environment for residents better quality of life

Residents’ communities feature to make innovative tourism development strategies. Residents play an indispensable role in developing policies and sustainable tourism infrastructure projects. A few research studies have sought to understand the animated influence of sustainable tourism opportunities on residents’ life. The study examines how tourism opportunities enhance residents’ quality of life in the context of the New Silk Road Initiative. The main objective of the current research study is to analyze the interplay of perceived impacts of New Silk Road tourism infrastructure development on local communities’ perception of sustainable tourism development and perceived quality of life. Previous researches were focusing on sustainable tourism projects incorporated various approaches to describe the linkage between the chosen variables. This study built and tested a causal model that specified the direct and indirect interconnections of perceived tourism infrastructure, sustainable tourism development, and residents’ perception of the quality of life. This study incorporated a self-administered questionnaire to collect data sets from Kazakhstan’s residents. The findings indicated that both direct and indirect effects of the New Silk Road Initiative of tourism infrastructure exhibited significant and positive influence on residents’ quality of life through residents’ perceived sustainable tourism development. The results indicated that the New Silk Road Initiative for tourism infrastructure positively effects developing sustainable tourism opportunities, which, in turn, escalates residents’ life quality. Besides, findings are useful in designing the promotions of sustainable tourism governance and residents’ welfare under New Silk Road Infrastructural Projects. However, solely tourism infrastructure strategies cannot improve residents’ quality of life. Economic, social, cultural, and environmental factors are vital to developing sustainable tourism at the destinations and need concentration to stimulate and ensure the positive impact of tourism infrastructure on specific beneficial outcomes. The findings’ implications are useful in developing more infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan.

Innovative development as a direction of functioning of regional tourist systems

Purpose. The aim of the article is generalization of conceptual bases of innovative development of tourism at the regional level, allocation of perspective directions of innovative activity in functioning of regional tourist systems of Ukraine. Methodology of research. The following methods are used achieve this goal the: analysis of scientific literature ‒ to study approaches to understanding the essence and structure of the concepts “innovation”, “innovative activity”, “innovative development”, features of innovation in tourism; generalization and synthesis ‒ to substantiate the conceptual foundations of innovative development of regional tourist systems. Findings. It is proved that innovation is an important factor and result of modern tourism, and innovation development should be considered as a priority to increase the competitiveness of tourism enterprises, destinations, regions and countries; it has a complex structure and systemic nature. It is substantiated that the main directions of innovative development of regional tourist systems are: formation of innovative infrastructure (in particular, in the form of tourist clusters), intensification of innovative activity at enterprises, increase of efficiency of introduction and use of innovative technologies, wider involvement of administrative, scientific and educational subsystems to the processes of generating and supporting innovation. Originality. Theoretical and methodological bases of research of innovative development of tourism at the regional level are improved. The concept of innovative factors of regional tourist systems has been further developed. Practical value. The results of the study can be used in the practice of regional and state management of tourism development, strategic planning, and in the activities of tourism businesses. Management of the potential of tourism destinations

Purpose. The aim of the study is to develop the parameters of capacity utilization assessment and innovative development of tourist destinations at the expense of the created tourist product of the destination; studying the basic principles of its formation. Methodology of research. The empirical methods of research are used in the course of the research, namely: the method of generalization – when forming a multi-vector approach to the development of tourist destinations; the method of expert assessments – when positioning the tourist product in the tourism system; method of classification and system analysis – in the study of innovativeness of components of the tourist product. Methods of analysis and synthesis, scientific generalization and comparison – when researching data of scientific sources (monographs, articles of domestic and foreign scientists), as well as open sources of statistical information and official data of forums, ratings, international tourist barometer are used in the research process. Findings. As a result of research the problems of assessment of tourism potential are updated as a source of innovative development of tourism; indicators and methods of measurement are analyzed; definition of the category “innovative potential of tourism” is substantiated and a model of its evaluation at different levels of implementation, with various forms of interpenetration and facilities of influence, implementation of effectiveness, perception and realization of the potential of tourism enterprises is presented. The proposed valuation tools that allow to use the tourism resource potential of the country / region / destination have a positive impact on the value pricing of exhaustible resources for sustainable tourism development, allow forming capital resource potentially attractive resorts that will affect their investment and reputational status. At the end of the article the factors of formation of innovative tourist product of destination as an effective tool of realization of tourist potential of the region are offered. Originality. The complementary factors of influence on the formation of a tourist destination management system by realizing existing and enhancing effective development potential are determined. Unlike the existing ones, these factors make it possible to estimate the direct and indirect contribution of tourism in the country's GDP by exploiting existing and enhancing excellent tourism potential. Practical value. The proposed structure and content of the tourist product of the destinations, its innovative component is the basis for the formation of the product strategy of the destination product, raising its competitive status, sustainable development. ІННОВАЦІЙНІ ІНСТРУМЕНТИ РОЗВИТКУ РЕГІОНАЛЬНОГО ТУРИЗМУ

Ukraine, having lost its positive image as a country safe for traveling, faced the problem of its restoration. It is necessary to start from the own population, which instead of native regions of permanent residence preferring to have vacation on abroad resorts. Therefore, the search of innovative tools for the restoration of regional tourism is an urgent problem for most regions of Ukraine. The purpose of the research – definition of modern problems and systematization of relevant innovative tools for the development of regional tourism, taking into account the existing conditions for the functioning of the national tourism industry. The object of the research: theoretical and applied aspects concerning application of relative innovative tools for the development of tourism industry at the regional level. The methods of the research: systematic approach, structural-logical and statistical analysis, synthesis and generalization. The hypothesis of the research: envisages the use of the approach by which the development of tourism at the regional level should be fully harmonized with the overall strategy of the territory and state development strategy taking into account the needs of all stakeholders. The statement of basic materials. Overview of previous research and current trends of national tourism industry development in the context of certain territories and regions has allowed to identify six main problems and three groups of topical innovative tools for the development of regional tourism, among them: the introduction of the social dialogue concept and the formation of social partnership on its basis; branding of the area as an effective tool for managing the image of the territory; using technology "product placement" and IT innovations. The originality and practical significance of the research: the presented proposals are especially relevant for the old industrial regions and separated depressed territories, for which the development of the tourism industry on the basis of its own tourist flows will overcome the systemic socio-economic crisis. Conclusions. The proposed innovative tourism development tools at the regional level are not absolute innovations for Ukraine, but their distribution should have a lasting character for all without exception areas, which will solve most of the identified problems.

In addition, perspective development of the study with the positive modernization and diversification possibilities were stated in order to conduct probable future investigations in the future. Global innovations in tourism

The article is devoted to the increasing role of tourism in the world economy. The dynamics of international tourism indicators is investigated. The main global innovations in the tourism industry are identified: the growth of tourism types; the application of qualitatively new solutions of scientific and methodological and applied character; growing of tourism influence on the society; the existence of synergistic effect in the tourist industry as a result of combination of subjects efforts at all management levels; changing of the role of internal and external factors that encourage innovative tourism development. In the article, the interaction of global processes on tourism innovations is defined. These processes are: intellectualization, informatization, cooperation, formation of the global tourism market, liberalization of the national tourism markets, increased competition and the spread of transnationalization. Cooperation between Russia and the EU in the field of innovative development of tourism: the case of the Lithuania — Poland — Russia cross-border cooperation programme

48 The article focuses on key instruments of international cooperation between Russia and the European Union aimed at stimulating innovative development of tourism co-financed by the EU and Russia. The author describes specific projects implemented in the framework of the LithuaniaPoland-Russia cross-border cooperation programme for 2009—2013 in the field of tourism. Special attention is paid to analysing tourism innovations that have emerged as a result of the projects aimed at cooperation and tourism development in the border regions of Russia and the EU countries. A number of projects have been implemented under the supervision and with the participation of the author. The article focuses on the role of innovative types of tourism in the regional development of territories in the case of the Kaliningrad region. The current approaches to defining tourism innovations in Russian and international studies are not comprehensive and do not reflect the essence of innovative processes. Innovative development is often reduced to the introduction of new information technologies; i. e. informatization replaces innovative development. However, it is important to take into account other innovative tools: for instance, interactive network museums in developing innovative tourist attraction objects, e-marketing in introducing innovations in tourist product promotion, programmes of private-public partnership in the field of public regulation and tourism stimulation, etc. These technologies contribute to the transition from a certain economic agent, the industry as a whole, or a tourist destination to a fundamentally new level in terms of tourist product presentation and increase of competitiveness. The sources for innovations in tourism are both the providers and consumers of tourist services. In those regions where tourism is considered an economic priority, local authorities and even super-governmental organisations, such as the European Commission (through different co-financing programmes), can also become innovators.
