Analisis Kesiapan Guru dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 2 Panti

This research is motivated by the fact that teachers are not yet fully prepared to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in schools, as they do not fully understand the curriculum structure, Learning Outcomes (LO), Learning Objectives (LO), Learning Objective Flow (LOF), and the understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (PSPSP), which has not been fully comprehended by each teacher. Supporting facilities and infrastructure are available but are not yet complete. This study aims to analyze the readiness of teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 2 Panti, Panti District, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. This method was chosen according to the needs of this research, namely to analyze the readiness of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Panti in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Data analysis was conducted using a Likert scale. Based on validity tests by teachers, the understanding of the curriculum structure is categorized as very ready with an average of 92.33%. The readiness of lesson planning has an average of 95.33% with a very ready criterion. The readiness of the learning process has an average of 89% with a very ready criterion. The readiness of teaching modules has an average of 90% with a very ready criterion. The readiness of facilities and infrastructure has an average of 92% with a very ready criterion, and the readiness of assessment has an average of 94% with a very ready criterion. Teachers' readiness in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 2 Panti is very ready to execute the Merdeka Curriculum.

Digital Mental Health Interventions for Adolescents in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Scoping Review.

Digital mental health interventions (DMHIs) are increasingly recognized as potential solutions for adolescent mental health, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and universal health coverage are instrumental tools for achieving mental health for all. Within this context, understanding the design, evaluation, as well as the barriers and facilitators impacting adolescent engagement with mental health care through DMHIs is essential. This scoping review aims to provide insights into the current landscape of DMHIs for adolescents in LMICs. The Joanna Briggs Institute scoping review methodology was used, following the recommendations of the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews). Our search strategy incorporated 3 key concepts: population "adolescents," concept "digital mental health interventions," and context "LMICs." We adapted this strategy for various databases, including ACM Digital Library, APA PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar (including gray literature), IEEE Xplore, ProQuest, PubMed (NLM), ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science. The articles were screened against a specific eligibility criterion from January 2019 to March 2024. We analyzed 20 papers focusing on DMHIs for various mental health conditions among adolescents, such as depression, well-being, anxiety, stigma, self-harm, and suicide ideation. These interventions were delivered in diverse formats, including group delivery and self-guided interventions, with support from mental health professionals or involving lay professionals. The study designs and evaluation encompassed a range of methodologies, including randomized controlled trials, mixed methods studies, and feasibility studies. While there have been notable advancements in DMHIs for adolescents in LMICs, the research base remains limited. Significant knowledge gaps persist regarding the long-term clinical benefits, the maturity and readiness of LMIC digital infrastructure, cultural appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness across the heterogeneous LMIC settings. Addressing these gaps necessitates large-scale, co-designed, and culturally sensitive DMHI trials. Future work should address this.

Improving airway management in pediatric emergency intubation: A narrative review with a focus on bougie guidance in settings with limited resources

AbstractBackgroundEffective airway management in pediatric emergency settings, especially in resource‐limited environments, presents unique challenges that necessitate innovative solutions.ObjectivesThis review investigates the role of bougie‐guided pediatric intubation as a crucial technique in addressing these challenges.MethodsA comprehensive search of peer‐reviewed literature was conducted using reputable databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science. Suitable keywords and Medical Subject Headings terms were employed. Data extraction focused on study design, patient demographics, intervention protocols, primary outcomes, and safety profiles. A qualitative synthesis was performed to provide a comprehensive narrative review.ResultsPediatric bougies, known for their cost‐effectiveness and adaptability, emerge as promising tools for successful and efficient pediatric intubation. Comparative studies indicate that bougie use results in superior first‐pass success rates and reduced intubation times. Case studies highlight the bougie's versatility in managing difficult pediatric airways.ConclusionsThe bougie's cost‐effectiveness positions it as a practical solution to disparities in treatment levels. Successful pediatric intubation in resource‐limited settings requires improved accessibility, standardized proficiency, and infrastructure readiness. Integrating the bougie into pediatric airway management guidelines represents a proactive approach to these challenges.

Exploring the Readiness for Electronic Voting (E-Voting) in Emerging Economies: Evidence from Dodoma, Tanzania

There has been a lot of research on e-voting recently. Most studies assume that the implementation of e-voting is not merely about technology but also relates to several critical factors, such as the readiness of human resources and infrastructure, public trust, and others. This study explored the readiness for e-voting in developing countries, a case study of Tanzania. Specifically, the study aimed to examine the challenges of the current voting system, establish the e-voting readiness status in Tanzania, and find out factors for establishment of e-voting system in Tanzania. This study was quantitative in nature and obtained data from 196 respondents selected from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officers and voters in Dodoma using purposive and convenient sampling techniques. Data was obtained from questionnaires distributed to officers and voters. The obtained data were analysed through descriptive statistics by the help of MS excel. The results show that the current voting system is faced with several challenges including limited safety, lack of trust, threat and insecurity vulnerability to mention but a few. It was further revealed that respondents were ready to adopt and use e-voting because it improves voters’ trust, ease voting procedures, reduces transportation costs on election materials/equipment and saves time. The study recommends the Independent National Election Commission of Tanzania, through various stakeholders see the possibility of establishing e-voting to achieve free and fair elections.

Environmental Knowledge, Awareness, Attitude Toward Purchase Intention, Mediated by Infrastructure Readiness & Price Affordability of Electric Vehicle (EV): Case in Indonesia

The study investigates the impact of electric vehicle (EV) technology on Indonesia's automotive industry and economy, emphasizing EVs' role in emission reduction. Factors affecting EV uptake, including purchasing behavior and environmental awareness, are analyzed, contributing to the theory of planned behavior. Data from 136 respondents were collected through surveys, revealing positive correlations between environmental awareness, knowledge, attitude, and purchase intent. Price affordability emerges as an intervening variable. The study offers insights for the gradual integration of EVs into Indonesia's automotive sector, highlighting initiatives by both manufacturers and the government, such as introducing EV options and implementing regulations related to energy, charging infrastructure, and taxation. This research underscores the importance of addressing consumer perceptions and market dynamics to facilitate the transition toward electric mobility in Indonesia.

Impact Of International Trade On Regional Economic Growth

This study aims to analyze the impact of international trade on regional economic growth through literature studies. International trade is one of the main drivers of economic growth in the era of globalization. Despite a significant increase in the volume of global trade, the distribution of benefits is not always evenly distributed across regions. Some regions with adequate infrastructure access and supportive economic policies experience rapid economic growth, while other less developed regions face limitations in taking advantage of international trade opportunities. This study shows that international trade contributes significantly to increasing Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), investment, and job creation, although these impacts depend on the readiness of infrastructure and the competitiveness of each region. Factors such as government policies and access to global markets also play a role in influencing the benefits obtained. This study recommends policies for infrastructure development and strengthening the competitiveness of local products to ensure that all regions can feel the optimal benefits of international trade. The results of this study provide direction for the government in formulating policies that encourage inclusive and sustainable economic growth at the regional level.

Analysis of Educational Technology Approaches in Supporting Health Services at College Clinics

Educational technology is a growing area of interest, including healthcare management in higher education. This study aims to evaluate the role of educational technology in improving health service management in college clinics, with a focus on the Universitas Negeri Manado Clinic. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the triangulation method to identify key themes and in-depth interpretation of the influence of educational technology on health services. The results showed that the implementation of educational technology in college clinics can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health services. Information technologies such as electronic medical record management systems and e-learning platforms have helped to improve the process of planning, implementing and evaluating health services. However, there are challenges in terms of system integration and additional training needs for staff. This study found that while educational technology provides significant benefits, its successful implementation is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness and user skills. Suggestions for improvement include increasing technology training for staff, updating hardware and software, and strengthening evaluation procedures to ensure that technology can be optimally used to improve the quality of health services.

The singularity technology revolution promises profound transformations in education. This article explores how singularity technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the Internet of Things (IoT), are impacting teaching and learning methods. Exploring aspects of personalized learning, greater accessibility, and enhanced collaboration, the article examines the impact of these technologies on students, teachers, and educational institutions. While offering great potential to improve the quality of education, the adoption of singularity technologies also presents challenges such as infrastructure readiness, data security, and implementation costs. Teachers’ Readiness in Online Learning: Digital Literacy-Self-Efficacy, Pedagogical Competence, Attitude, Infrastructure, and Management Support

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are now used in education as a necessary tool. ICTs are used extensively in education, therefore, in order for teachers to effectively manage their classrooms, they need to be highly digitally skilled and have good attitudes. The spread of digital technology poses challenges as well as prospects, particularly for the younger generation. Online distance education provides individuals with convenient and accessible avenues for engaging in educational pursuits. The research aimed to analyze the teachers’ readiness in online learning: digital literacy- self–efficacy, pedagogical competence, attitude, infrastructure, and management support in Indonesia. The research conducted was a quantitative study employing a survey design. The survey data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with AMOS. A questionnaire was used to gather the data. There were 2.788 teachers involved as participants throughout Indonesia. The results show the relationship between the five indicators in digital literacy-self-efficacy (TR-DLSE), pedagogical competence (PC), attitude readiness (AR), infrastructure readiness (IR), and management support (MS). The readiness in terms of attitude explains the construct the best compared to the other four indicators with a value of 0.996. The square of factor loading (FL) on the readiness of attitude is 0.93, indicating that 93% of teacher readiness levels in online learning are influenced by the enthusiastic attitude of the teachers in Indonesia. It can be concluded that the teachers’ attitude readiness for online learning in Indonesia influences teachers' readiness. Suggestions for further research are provided.

Artificial intelligence drivers' effect on willingness to adopt the human capital supply chain in manufacturing firms: an empirical investigation from developing countries – a mediation model

PurposeThis study tries to examine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) drivers on the willingness to adopt the human capital supply chain (HCSC) in manufacturing firms (MFs) in developing countries (DCs) including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, which are listed in the Chambers of Industry of these countries.Design/methodology/approachThe quantitative methodology with a simple random sampling method was adopted using a questionnaire survey-based approach to collect data from 233 out of 1,055 participants (human resource (HR) managers and information technology (IT) senior managers) from various MFs (private and commercial), representing a 22% response rate. Covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) was used to analyze the raw data using Amos V.25.FindingsThe results of this study showed that there are positive and statistically significant direct association effects between the reliability of use (RoU), competitive pressures (CPs) and user confidence (UC) factors on the willingness to adopt AI in HCSC in the MFs in DCs. At the same time, there is no significant effect on a firm’s infrastructure readiness (FIRs), in addition to the indirect effect of UC in the relationship between CPs and FIRs on the willingness to adopt AI in HCSC.Originality/valueSuch findings of this study can provide insightful implications for stakeholders and policymakers regarding the importance of using predictive AI drivers' effect on willingness to adopt the HCSC in the MFs in DCs as emerging economies. Additionally, the managers might focus on the existence of a significant positive indirect effect of UC as a mediating factor in the relationship between FIRs and willingness to adopt AI and its applications in HCSC systems and departments.

Community preparedness for earthquake disasters: A preliminary assessment of awareness and disaster infrastructure response in Cianjur, West Java-Indonesia

Background The danger of earthquakes poses a serious threat to people worldwide. One of the most significant challenges is preparing communities to cope effectively with this disaster. Therefore, understanding earthquake hazards is critically important for preparedness, mitigation, and an effective response to this threat. This report aims to observe and conduct a preliminary assessment of the degree to which community preparedness for earthquake disasters has been implemented. Methods Empirical data were obtained from survey respondents and interviews. The respondents were members of a community affected by the Cianjur earthquake, which occurred on November 21, 2022. The data were analysed using the mean range approach, based on Likert scales. Additionally, the Spearman correlation method was employed to indicate the relationship between community awareness and infrastructure readiness. Result Based on empirical evidence and preliminary analysis, it is evident that the preparedness of the community to respond effectively to earthquake catastrophes is inadequate. An apparent lack of readiness is observed in the inadequate construction of housing that fails to meet disaster standards, and the absence of disaster response facilities is notable. Conclusions Based on our initial assumption, it appears that knowledge related to disaster resilience in this area has not been adequately disseminated or socialized. However, this premise requires further investigation.

Bandung as a Creative City in Indonesia: The Role of Community in Developing a Creative Tourism Urban Village Initiative

Bandung City Government, in collaboration with the Bandung City Culture and Tourism Office, has implemented the activation of creative tourism urban villages as a strategic measure to promote regional autonomy through the development of the creative economy. Prior studies have not extensively addressed the concept of creative tourism in urban villages as an alternative form of tourism. Therefore, this research aims to explore the involvement of communities in the management of creative tourism urban villages in Bandung, seeing them as the primary stakeholders. The objective of this study is to chart the potential and obstacles facing creative tourism urban villages in Bandung City from the perspective of tourism awareness groups as managers of creative tourism urban villages. The study employed qualitative methodologies with a phenomenological approach, specifically in-depth interviews with managers of creative tourism urban villages, as well as field observations of 8 activated creative tourism urban villages in Bandung city. The activation of creative tourism urban villages in the city of Bandung to promote the sustainable development goal is characterized by three primary themes: community dynamics, infrastructure readiness and external support. Community dynamics refers to the interactions that take place among community members as they collaborate to establish creative tourism urban villages in different regions through stories, conflicts and the active involvement of community members. The availability of infrastructure is contingent upon the presence of tangible assets that facilitate the execution of creative tourism urban village business operations, encompassing aspects such as road accessibility, parking availability, and building structures. Assistance from external entities refers to the support provided by external parties to foster the growth of creative tourism in urban villages, including mentoring, training, sponsorship, and collaboration networks. The activation of creative tourism urban villages needs to be accompanied by community independence and involvement in a bottom-up development process, not just a top-down one, so as to maintain the sustainability of creative tourism urban villages after the government no longer supports activities carried out by tourism awareness groups.

The Awareness Gap in Personal Data Privacy in Indonesia's Cyberspace

This study discusses the protection of personal data in the context of human rights, specifically the right to privacy in Indonesia. In the digital era, personal data has become a valuable asset that drives the operations of businesses, governments, and individuals. Digital literacy plays a crucial role in the protection of personal data, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to manage personal information effectively and safely. Although personal data protection laws in Indonesia have been implemented, many challenges remain, including the gap in public awareness about personal data protection and the readiness of infrastructure and human resources. This study also highlights survey results showing that the awareness of Indonesians about personal data protection is still low, with many data breach incidents occurring.

Rozwiązania instytucjonalne na rzecz rozwoju konkurencyjności sektora gazu ziemnego w UE

The study explores the subject of sectoral competitiveness on the example of gas sectors in different European countries. Literature review on sectoral competitiveness suggests that the concept has evolved considerably over time and that contemporary definitions of competitiveness span beyond traditional economic factors. Studies on gas sector in this context to date, however, have largely focused on export competitiveness of upstream activities. To address the research gap, a targeted approach is suggested to study and compare competitiveness of the entire national gas sectors, spanning beyond standard productivity measures. A dedicated synthetic indicator is designed to perform a comparative analysis of contemporary gas sectors, taking account of the gas price offered to the industry, institutional performance, infrastructure readiness and job creation potential. Then, the case study is presented and it examines four countries that have liberalized their gas sectors and are reliant on gas imports to a different degree. Results confirm that the application of a synthetic indicator factoring in different aspects of sectoral competitiveness is appropriate to arrive at a holistic view of gas sector’s relative performance. The significance of the institutional setup is also confirmed from the perspective of inducing investment, enhancing market liquidity, as well as creating sustainable jobs in the gas sector.

Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and Readiness of Educational Infrastructure in Elementary Schools

Education is a cornerstone in shaping competent and adaptable generations. Merdeka Curriculum was introduced as an educational reform effort in Indonesia to grant students the freedom to develop their potentials according to their interests and talents. However, the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum faces challenges, particularly in educational infrastructure readiness, especially at the primary school level. Adequate educational infrastructure, including physical facilities, access to information and communication technology (ICT), and availability of competent human resources, is crucial for the successful execution of this curriculum. This research aims to analyze the readiness level of educational infrastructure in primary schools to support the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum, identify challenges, evaluate the influence of infrastructure readiness on curriculum effectiveness, formulate strategic steps to address infrastructure constraints, and explore the roles of the government and relevant stakeholders in enhancing educational infrastructure readiness. The research methodology employed includes qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, involving data analysis from questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Findings indicate that the majority of primary schools still face infrastructure challenges, with only a small portion possessing adequate facilities. Schools with better infrastructure tend to implement Merdeka Curriculum more effectively, evidenced by improved student participation and higher academic outcomes. Recommended strategic steps include increasing budget allocations, providing sufficient ICT devices, and conducting intensive teacher training. The government plays a crucial role in supporting educational infrastructure development through supportive policies and adequate budget allocations. Collaborative efforts among the government, private sector, and local communities are expected to expedite improvements in educational infrastructure readiness, thereby enabling all schools to effectively support Merdeka Curriculum.

Exploring the barriers to implement industrial symbiosis in the apparel manufacturing industry: Implications for sustainable development

Industrial symbiosis, a promising approach for sustainable industrial practices, has garnered attention in recent days for its ability to enhance resource efficiency, minimize waste, and preserve the environment through collaborative exchanges among industries. In emerging economies like Bangladesh, integrating industrial symbiosis in the manufacturing industries offers the potential to balance economic growth with environmental sustainability. However, this integration encounters various barriers that complicate the implementation. Despite research on industrial symbiosis in robust economies, studies on emerging and developed economies are still scarce. To date, no research has yet investigated the barriers hindering the performance of industrial symbiosis in the Bangladeshi apparel manufacturing sector. To address this gap, this study integrates the Bayes theorem and the Best-Worst Method to identify and prioritize barriers to the Bangladeshi apparel manufacturing sector. From extensive literature reviews and expert validation, 17 barriers were identified. Findings reveal the “lack of technology and infrastructure readiness” as the most significant barrier, followed by “lack of inter-company cooperation” and “lack of management support”. Conquering these barriers empowers emerging economies to fortify the apparel manufacturing sector's resilience, resource efficiency, and environmental performance while fostering sustainable development via circular economy practices. This study is expected to guide policymakers and stakeholders in crafting targeted strategies for promoting steady growth and sustainable development in the apparel manufacturing sector of emerging economies like Bangladesh.

The Application of Information Technology in Teaching at University and College Levels in the Context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), characterized by rapid advancements in Information Technology (IT), the integration of these technologies into higher education has become imperative. This paper explores the transformative impact of IT on teaching methodologies at the university and college levels. Through a comprehensive review of literature, case studies, and qualitative analysis, the study examines how institutions are leveraging IT tools such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and immersive technologies to enhance learning experiences. Key findings highlight the benefits of IT adoption, including improved student engagement, personalized learning paths, and the cultivation of future-ready skills essential in a digital economy. However, challenges such as infrastructure readiness and faculty training remain significant barriers. By addressing these challenges and embracing innovative teaching strategies, higher education can effectively navigate the complexities of the 4IR, ensuring graduates are equipped to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.

Impact and perceptions of distance learning among undergraduate nursing students: An exploratory cross-sectional study in Saudi Arabia

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the rapid adoption of e-learning in education. Nursing students, unprepared for this shift, faced unique challenges. This study explored these challenges and influencing factors using a 53-item questionnaire completed by 184 nursing students in Saudi Arabia. Data was analyzed with SPSS version 21 at a 0.05 significance level. Most students (71%) showed positive attitudes towards e-learning, finding it useful (mean score: 3.26±0.88), with links to self-efficacy (mean score: 3.04±0.82) and time-management (mean score: 3.39±0.73). Barriers included inadequate infrastructure and technical support (mean score: 3.14±1.3), lack of training (mean score: 3.03±1.3), and poor internet connections (mean score: 3.92±1.3). Students reported uneasiness (mean score: 2.77±1.5), confusion (mean score: 2.64±1.4), stress, and nervousness (mean score: 2.55±1.4). Younger students and females showed more positive attitudes towards e-learning (p-values < 0.01 and < 0.001, respectively). Despite positive attitudes, anxiety due to lack of training and infrastructure readiness persisted. Addressing these issues is crucial to enhance the effectiveness of e-learning.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIRE EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEM AT DR. TADJUDDIN CHALID MAKASSAR

The growth and arrangement of existing buildings is often not balanced with the readiness of building infrastructure or gives the impression of forced development so that the resulting physical buildings pay little attention to fire hazards. Fire prevention is a building system that aims to save lives and property from the dangers of fire. Preparedness and handling before a fire occurs is a very important factor in preventing fires. The aim of this research is to see whether the implementation of the emergency response system at RSUP Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar is in accordance with standards. This research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach through in-depth interviews. The informants for this research are the person in charge of K3RS, Head of Sanitation Installation, members of the hospital emergency response team , hospital fire brigade team, hospital management team and Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Maintenance. The research results showed that RSUP Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar has implemented a fire emergency response system that is in accordance with standards, but it is not yet optimal, such as evaluation of training and education that has not been implemented, in the active fire system there are still APARs that have expired and several hydrants that are not attached with instructions for use, then in the system passive fires, there are still gathering places that are still used as parking lots and there are no emergency stairs specifically for patients who use wheelchairs. FEASIBILITY OF EDUCATIONAL METAVERSE FOR IMMERSIVE TRANSFORMATION OF TEACHER EDUCATION

The rapid advancement of immersive technologies has catalyzed transformative shifts across various sectors, particularly in education, where the potential for immersive learning environments holds considerable promise. However, empirical studies focusing on the implementation of immersive technologies within developing countries like Pakistan remain limited, presenting a critical gap in the literature. This study investigates the integration of the educational metaverse into teacher education in Pakistan, emphasizing infrastructural readiness, stakeholder roles, and ethical considerations. Despite the transformative potential of immersive technologies in enhancing pedagogical processes, significant challenges persist related to technological infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, and policy frameworks. Through qualitative analysis of interviews with key educational stakeholders, the research identifies critical barriers and opportunities within the Pakistani context. The findings of this study advocate a strategic, phased method to financing and establishing a robust support systems vital for the effective adoption of educational metaverse in teacher education. This study provides a practical and theoretical understanding of implementation of immersive technologies, hence presenting a framework for universities and policymakers of teacher education focusing to harness immersive innovations effectively.
