Improved Ship Deformation Measurement System Based on OCC

With the development of image sensor frame rate and the intelligent terminal embedded camera, the Optical Camera Communication technology (OCC) which developed from the existing image sensor is being applied in more areas. Based on the principle of OCC technology and the research of 3D ship deformation measurement system, an improved 3D ship deformation measurement scheme is put forward. The hardware structure of the system is improved by using data simulation, and the time unit is integrated into the system by using infrared communication technology, and the circuit design is also carried out. The results show that the improved measurement system has lower hardware complexity and higher availability.

Spatially resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy of crescent-shaped plasmonic antennas.

We present a study of the optical properties of gold crescent-shaped antennas by means of electron energy loss spectroscopy. These structures exhibit particularly large field enhancement near their sharp features, support two non-degenerate dipolar (i.e., optically active) localised surface plasmon resonances, and are widely tunable by a choice of their shape and dimensions. Depending on the volume and shape, we resolved up to four plasmon resonances in metallic structures under study in the energy range of 0.8 - 2.4 eV: two dipolar and quadrupolar mode and a multimodal assembly. The boundary-element-method calculations reproduced the observed spectra and helped to identify the character of the resonances. The two lowest modes are of particular importance owing to their dipolar nature. Remarkably, they are both concentrated near the tips of the crescent, spectrally well resolved and their energies can be tuned between 0.8 - 1.5 eV and 1.2 - 2.0 eV, respectively. As the lower spectral range covers the telecommunication wavelengths 1.30 and 1.55 μm, we envisage the possible use of such nanostructures in infrared communication technology.

Applied Technology in Design and Implementation of Infrared Communication Module

Infrared communication technology is a short-range wireless communications technology widely adopted in the world today range .This paper detailedly introduces the basic principles of infrared protocol. Infrared communications applications of this paper is to achieve system applications of infrared communication between two development boxes with an infrared transceiver modules.The program consists of PC program and lower computer program two parts,also are called infrared communication basic procedures and infrared communication console program.Running PC program on a PC,running lower computer program on the development box.Based on Borch-company's S3C2410-S ARM9, experimental development box implements a infrared communications infrastructure lower computer program based on serial meeting SIR standards.By calling the Qt graphics library,using the programming language C++,it achieves a visual infrared communication console PC program under linux system.

Research and Design of Touch-Screen Domestic Universal Remote Controller with Self-Learning Function

This paper discusses a universal remote controller of household electrical appliances using the touch screen. All the household electrical appliances, such as televisions, air conditionings, drinking fountains, fans and lamps, use only one remote controller. It is convenient for the disabled people to use the household electrical appliances. The remote controller is based on the computer controlling technology and infrared communication technology. The touch screen, microcontroller, infrared emitter and receiver compose the remote controller. The controller could control all the household electrical appliances with self-learning function. Household electrical appliances without remote control could also be controlled remotely by installing the receiving circuit. The remote controller has human friendly interface through the interaction between the hardware and software of the touch screen. The result shows that our remote controller has clarified its effectiveness.

The Research on Intelligent Wireless Communications Robot Collaboration Control System

With the rapid development of robot technology, the work of a single robot has been limited. Simultaneously, the development of the multi-robot cooperation has not been effectively resolved yet. In the background of wireless communication technology, the essay which is based on the in-depth analysis of infrared data transmission and theoretical wireless communications protocol combines the infrared communication technology with the robot automatic control technology and proposes the research design of the robot collective control system. The essay also builds a hardware platform which is used for researching the robot collective control system. In return, the communication protocol can be designed, the control program can be written and the performance of the system and be analyzed, which can represent that the research achievement can be obtained.

Design of Coal mining Roof Pressure Monitoring System Based on Labview

In order to monitor the press of mining roof in combined face, the paper design a coal mining roof pressure monitoring system. The system includes roof pressure testing device, intelligent portable data acquisition meter and upper lever computer monitoring and processing system. Roof pressure testing device is mainly testing the pressure of mining roof and transmitting pressure data to intelligent portable data acquisition meter by infrared communication technology within the allotted time. Intelligent portable data acquisition meter can also transmit pressure data to upper lever computer monitoring and processing system for further analysis and storage. Test results indicate that the system can achieve long-term continuous monitoring to roof pressure and provide the reference frame about roof control through the analysis of the monitoring results.

Remote Access and Control System Based on Infrared Communication Technology

With the development of world science and technology, people's quality of life and living standard is also improving gradually, so the technology of remote access and control system will be born. The household appliances are carried out the remote access based on infrared communication technology, to construct the infrared communication coding protocol procedures, it can pass through the procedures to achieve the related functions of various electrical appliances with the organic coordination, in order to remote access for the household appliances. At the same time through the timing function of the infrared communication technology, it can be form a complete access and the control system, and can be the formation of the received infrared communication and emission flow diagram, in order to achieve the largest household appliance function and use, effectively guide people better infrared communication technology to be widely and effectively used.

Infrared Communication Technology Applied to Indoor Mobile Healthcare Monitoring System

In the context of healthcare monitoring, it is necessary to transmit vital information from the patient to an interface managed by the hospital staff. In this paper, the authors consider a system in which a patient can move within a hospital room and the data collected by sensors are transmitted to a distant receiver placed on the ceiling. The authors investigate the potentiality of using infrared communications for the transmission of information in this mobile context, by considering the simplest modulation scheme based on On-Off Keying (OOK) technique. In order to represent patient mobility in the room, the authors use a model for the patient location based on a Gaussian distribution over the three axes of mobility in the room. In addition, they consider different scenarios, considering either a Line Of Sight (LOS) configuration or a diffuse one. From the obtained results, the authors can determine by evaluating the transmission probability of outage, the potentiality of this technology to ensure the communication between sensors and the collecting point.

Ultrasonic Measurement System with Infrared Communication Technology

In order to achieve remote control of ultrasonic measurement system, an infrared communication-based ultrasonic measurement system is developed combining wireless communication technology with ultrasonic measurement technology. The hardware circuits of entire system and the achievement of several key technologies are discussed, including transducer structure and parameters selection, design of the corresponding circuit. The system is composed of host and slave parts. The host part is composed of host microcontroller, receiver circuit, liquid crystal display circuit and infrared communication module. The slave part is composed of ultrasonic transmitter, infrared communication modules and single-chip component. The host and slave parts transmit data through the infrared communication module. AT89S52 microcontroller is used as systems main control unit and ZHX1010 infrared communication chip for wireless data transmission. The system has low-cost, the implementation of convenient, easy- to-use, convenient, flexible, reliable transmission of data, and stable performance. A Review of Indoor Optical Wireless Systems

Optical wireless communication offers a viable alternative to radio frequency (RF) communication for indoor use and other applications where high performance links are needed. These systems use infrared technology (IR), which has significant advantages over RF. This paper presents a review of the most significant issues related to infrared communication technology, which will enable the realization of future high performance and cost-effective indoor optical wireless systems. Several possible configurations for indoor optical wireless systems, modulation and multi-access techniques are presented as well as their advantages and limitations discussed.
