Revitalizing Religious Learning in Madrasah Through the Use of Technology

In today's digital age, the use of information technology (IT) has become commonplace in many aspects of life, including in education. This study deals with the use of IT as a tool for revitalizing religious learning in madrasah with the aim of improving the effectiveness and quality of teaching learning processes. In the context of the madrasah, religious learning is often considered monotonous and less attractive, so the use of IT is expected to enrich teaching methods and expand students' access to diverse learning resources. This research uses literary methods by searching for references in accordance with the context of the research. Research results show that IT has great potential in supporting more interactive and enjoyable learning. Some examples of successful IT implementations include the use of interactive learning applications, social media for learning discussions, the creation of digital content such as educational videos and podcasts, and the implementation of Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate student progress tracking. However, the study also identified barriers, such as infrastructure constraints, lack of training for teachers, and resistance to change on some sides. To overcome these obstacles, joint efforts between educational institutions, governments, and communities are needed to improve the availability of facilities, as well as conduct a comprehensive teacher training programme in the use of IT. Therefore, with adequate support and mature planning, IT can be a powerful tool in revitalizing religious learning in the madrasah, thereby producing a more dynamic, interactive, and adapted learning process

This is a crucial step in maximizing the value of information technology investments. The goal is to address concerns regarding the delay in digital transformation and the role of information technology in establishing a sustainable and irreplaceable competitive advantage. The research methodology utilizes a qualitative approach, specifically a single case study with semi-structured interviews for data collection. The theoretical framework incorporates the resource-based view (RBV) and contingency theories. The key findings of the study emphasize the challenges encountered during information technology implementation, especially concerning the complementarity of organizational and human resources with information technology resources. Based on these challenges, the factors contributing to successful information technology implementation are categorized into three groups: pre-implementation phase, alignment of information technology strategy, and collaboration and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the implementation process.

Audit Sistem Jubelio Pada Perusahaan Peralatan Elektronik Menggunakan Domain Service Design ITIL V3

Electronic equipment companies in Jakarta have used information technology (IT) for daily operational activities, the IT used is an application or Jubelio system to support the smooth running of the organization in supporting its business needs, with the help of this IT equipment it is hoped that it will improve its service both internally such as employees and management as well as external customers, namely. Because the system has been implemented for so long, an audit of the application is needed using the ITIL V3 standard. This standard is used to see the extent of IT's success in carrying out its functions and will also carry out a design review of additions to the Jubelio system. This service helps companies gain a better understanding of the need for additional features for applications, and the future challenges faced by users at the company. Of course, this all involves users within the organization in the design process. The final result of the Jubelio application audit is that the company received recommendations from researchers, namely improving IT services even better, showing that Service Catalog Management, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Information Security Management, and Supplier Management is at the current level of 1.43 to 2.75, from the expected level of 3.00 with a gap between 0.25 to 1.67.

ANALISA IT/IS STRATEGIC PLANNING TERHADAP ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DALAM KONTEKS KINERJA ORGANISASI PADA UMKM

The research objectives to analyze the impact of Information Technology/Information Systems (IT/IS) strategic planning on the adoption of Information Technology (IT) within the context of organizational performance in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). In the continually evolving digital era, the ability of SMEs to integrate and effectively leverage IT is crucial for their sustainability and growth. The research methodology involves surveying and analyzing data from a range of SMEs that have implemented IT/IS strategic planning. The findings indicate a positive correlation between IT/IS strategic planning and the level of IT adoption in SMEs operations. SMEs with mature IT/IS strategic planning are more likely to efficiently implement and utilize information technology, thereby enhancing organizational performance. Factors such as budget allocation, technological literacy, and understanding the benefits of IT play a significant role in this relationship. This research contributes significantly to understanding how IT/IS strategic planning can act as a catalyst for successful IT adoption among SMEs. Practical implications of the research include recommendations for policy formulation, human resource training, and the development of technology empowerment strategies for SMEs. Thus, this research holds substantial relevance in supporting the growth and competitiveness of SMEs in the digital era.

Identifying Human Temperament and Character Type for E-Learning Needs Using a Fuzzy Logic Approach

Today, online training and counseling is becoming increasingly popular. This has been achieved through the use of various successful information and communication technologies and electronic tools - Electronic (ICTE). Therefore, significant changes are needed in the training process. People have different perceptions of information and different types of temperament. That is why the training process should be tailored to the needs of each. The training system should take into account that people have different styles of perceiving information according to the temperament and character type of the student-aplicant. This would reduce online training and increase its quality.Traditional psychometric tests are usually very long and difficult, based on a person’s opinion of themselves and thus, they give different results depending on the person’s mood. Also, depending on the mood and need, the person may be manipulated by possible answers. This is because the answers to such test questions are largely based on ongoing processes in consciousness. So from traditional tests there are other types of tests separately from questionnaires: drawing, colors, geometric figures, pictures, card games, numbers, scenarios, manuscript analysis, drawing and other tests. A special advantage of these types of tests is that they rely more on ongoing processes in the subconscious and are therefore more free to manipulate, while also requiring significantly less time and less dependent on mood.Autors task was to combine several other types of tests and create a free test-short program with the ability to present and process subjective information using modern fuzzy technology, which would allow us to determine the applicant's temperament and character type for e-learning and other needs.

Design Factors in Evaluating and Formulating IT Governance Systems in Public Organizations

The application of information technology (IT) by central and regional governments to public services is intended to efficiently and effectively improve performance and public services. However, many studies have shown the ineffective application of IT. In Gorontalo province, this can be seen in the e-readiness value of Gorontalo province as a prerequisite for successful IT implementation, which is still at 58.15 points, which means that it is at a moderate level of readiness. This shows that implementing IT governance in the local government of Gorontalo province is still not optimal in terms of performance or public services. This study aims to identify the design factors that need to be considered when implementing IT Governance to achieve better public service performance. This study uses a quantitative approach based on a survey method. The results showed six models at Level 3: BAI06, BAI07, DSS01, DSS03, DSS04, and DSS05. In addition, four models were at level 4: APO12, APO13, BAI10, and DSS02. Levels 3 and 4 show that the IT governance capability of the Gorontalo provincial government in each model is not yet optimal. This study recommends that the Gorontalo provincial government evaluate and formulate an effective IT Governance system by focusing on each model's IT Governance design factors to improve public service performance.

Calculation Of Incident Management Maturity Level At PT XYZ Using ITILv3 Framework

One of the keys to successful information technology (IT) is good IT service management planning [1]. Implementation of ITIL also makes IT functions more valueable and user oriented, better structure and coordination in IT functions through standardization and process documentation, clear roles and responsibilities, better synchronization of various IT services and increased transparency. PT XYZ is one of the IT companies and the largest data center service provider in Indonesia. Improving service quality is a target for companies to provide good services to the IT services. Based on data in 2022, from the ITS Division, the average incident report that can be completed on time is around 78% from all services reported in IT Services. Based on the data obtained, it is necessary to evaluate the measurement of the maturity level of IT services that have been implemented at PT XYZ. The results of the overall process maturity level based on the maturity assessment used in handling incidents show that the average maturity at PT XYZ is at level 3-Defined, which means the distribution of documentation covering all processes.

Mitigating risk of failure in information technology projects: Causes and mechanisms

This paper shows how causes and mechanisms behind past information technology (IT) project failures can be used for systematic risk mitigation in new IT projects. This is significant because successful IT projects are needed to realise the benefit potential of digitalisation, whereas failed IT projects overspend resources and underdeliver benefits. In this paper we a) identify factors and causes that lead to IT project failure, b) analyse the consistency over time of the identified factors and causes, c) expose mechanisms of failure by analysing failure factors, causes, and common features of IT projects, and d) show how this knowledge can be used in IT project risk evaluations. The paper uses hermeneutic literature review, statistical analysis of failure factors in the literature, content analysis of the reviewed literature, and process tracing.

The Effect Of Technology Characteristics In The Continued Use Of Charity Crowdfunding Platforms Through Trust And User Satisfaction

This research's objective is to examine the effect of technological characteristics on trust and satisfaction in using a charity crowdfunding platform so that the user will reuse the platform. The use of technology in excellent and sustainable online donation fundraising requires the fulfilment of technological characteristics. A study by Bhattacherjee (2001)) stated that continued use influences information technology's success. Another significant area in information systems research is user satisfaction because it is an essential factor in measuring the use and success of an information system (Bailey and Pearson, 1983; Ives et al., 1983; Doll and Torkzadeh, 1988; Delone and McLean, 1992 in Roca et al., 2006). This study used the purposive sampling method and tested the hypothesis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). This research proves that trust affects the satisfaction of using a charity crowdfunding platform, but not with technological characteristics. Meanwhile, users' satisfaction influences continued use but not trust.

Unlocking Success in IT: A Systematic Exploration of Soft and Hard Skills and Their Collaborative Dynamics across Information Technology Roles

The ability to identify and develop critical soft and hard skills is paramount for professionals seeking to excel in the Information Technology (IT) industry. A groundbreaking and systematic exploration of the essential soft and hard skills required for various IT roles is presented in this paper, along with a discussion of how collaborative dynamics influence their interconnection. In this study, we propose a novel model that explains the intricate relationships between these skills and how they impact performance within and across IT roles, based on a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, in-depth interviews with industry experts, and a large-scale survey of IT professionals.
 Our findings indicate distinct soft and hard skill requirements for each IT role, emphasizing the importance of a well-rounded skill set for effective collaboration and synergy. Moreover, our research reveals the dynamic nature of the IT sector, indicating a growing need for professionals who are capable of adapting and growing their skills as technology advances.
 As IT professionals, educators, and organizations strive to understand and develop the skills necessary to succeed in the industry, the proposed model serves as a valuable resource. Furthermore, our findings contribute to the ongoing discourse regarding the future of work in IT, providing insights into the evolving nature of skills and roles, as well as the critical connections that drive innovation and progress.

Navigating Competitive Transfer Pathways: Transfer Student Experiences in Health and IT Majors

The health care and information technology (IT) fields demand a more diverse set of qualified graduates who can appropriately fulfill the needs of the varied communities they serve. Currently, community colleges serve as stepping stones for diverse student populations and groups. When it comes to pursuing Health- or IT-related fields, community college students are often drawn to those majors with positive career placements and outcomes. Such majors include nursing, business, engineering, and education. However, at many colleges and universities, these majors are considered limited access, meaning that they have strict academic admissions criteria and accept only a limited number of students each year. This study seeks to understand community college student experiences and perceptions related to health or IT transfer pathway careers and success. We specifically examine Health and IT transfer pathways for students studying at a public community college in the Midwest (MidCC) to a large public research institution in the Midwest (MidU) and the faculty and staff working with these populations of students.

Successful IT Entrepreneurship in Nigeria: The Contingent Role of Mentorship

ABSTRACT This paper principally explores the determinants of successful information technology entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s IT sector. It further examines the moderating effect of mentorship (either by an IT practitioner or a non-IT practitioner) in the correlation between the independent variables of interest and dependent variable. Literature from the developed markets underscores a positive relationship between training and successful entrepreneurship. However, such relationship is seldom explored within the context of developing markets such as Nigeria. Thus, this paper explores the impact of specific factors such as IT-focused entrepreneurial training, being born by entrepreneur parents, business school training, faith in a supernatural and mentorship on IT entrepreneurial success A quantitative research design involving a web-based survey was used to collect data among 297 participants. All collected data were screened and analyzed using binary logistic regression and Exploratory Factor Analysis. The results showed that IT entrepreneurs who are born by entrepreneur parents are more likely to succeed than those without such family backgrounds. Also, the attendance of a business school is a significant predictive factor for IT entrepreneurial success in Nigeria. Surprisingly, no significant correlation exists between formal education in the IT field and IT entrepreneurial success. Further, no significant moderating effect of mentorship was present. This implies that IT entrepreneurs in Nigeria need to harness the benefits of entrepreneurial family background and business school education to sustainably grow their businesses and become successful. Also, committed federal government backing is needed to introduce innovative entrepreneurial initiatives to improve competence among IT entrepreneurs in Nigeria. General business/management training is needed besides conventional IT training as the former is a better predictor of success among IT entrepreneurs. Finally, trainings need to focus on building competencies for relationship management to aid access to resources for innovation and growth. Future studies should consider a qualitative approach to investigating the mediating impact of mentorship on IT entrepreneurship success in Nigeria.

How to improve information technology strategic planning effectiveness using balanced scorecard, risk and maturity analysis, case study health information technology? A qualitative study.

Although many health strategic plans have been developed by scholars and organizations, they still suffer from a limited view. Since most health-related strategies in the future will depend on information technology (IT), as the main driver of today's industry, technology, and society, IT merits attention in health strategic plans. While the majority of the health strategic plan developed based on the interviews and questioner and these plans didn't consider the role of IT in their actions, this research will develop a framework to integrate risk and maturity analysis with the strategic planning process in health information technology strategic plan. The present research introduces an integrated framework based on a balanced scorecard (BSC) and control objectives for information and related technologies (COBIT). Also, The American Productivity & Quality Centre framework and COBIT were employed in this model to define the processes and activities of health IT (HIT) organizations. The organization's maturity and risk are analyzed in terms of information and management criteria using BSC, COBIT, and the analytical hierarchy process. Later this model was implemented in a Remote Health care System to improve the strategic management process for this technology. Using this framework, 17 business goals have been developed and presented for the case. Also, the total related risk was 48% and the maturity level was at 1/18. The results are presented as decision-making parameters and strategies for successful IT implementation. The presented framework provides deeper insight for the decision-maker through integrating risk and maturity analysis in the HIT strategic planning process. Evaluating Organizational Level IT Innovation Adoption Factors among Global Firms

This study explores a range of organizational factors that drive success in organizational level information technology (IT) innovation adoption. A comprehensive model of organizational level IT innovation adoption is presented based on a context-mechanism-outcome perspective and by drawing on relevant theories. The proposed model is empirically tested using data from 1988 company executives across a wide range of organizations globally. A research model and the related hypotheses are tested using structural equation modelling. The study found that organizational level IT innovation readiness conceptualized through technology readiness and internal expertise is a key mediator for successful organizational level technology adoption. Other organizational factors such as top management support, organizational structure, and organization culture, were positively related to the overall level of IT innovation readiness and organizational level technology adoption. Considering that there are many organizational factors that influence the adoption of technology, future research should extend the research framework and include additional variables that could support IT innovation adoption outcomes. The study makes a significant contribution to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence related to the organizational factors necessary for a successful IT innovation adoption at an organizational level.

Teachers' Successful Information and Communication Technology Integration in Primary School

Despite extensive research on ICT integration among teachers, limited knowledge was given to understand the successful integration of ICT among teachers. For those purposes, a single-case study aimed to explain the successful integration of ICT by teachers into teaching in one national primary school in Malaysia. Data were collected using multi-method of data collection including in-depth interviews, non-participants observations, and document analysis. The results discovered three models that lead to teachers' successful ICT integration in teaching, explaining how the interactions between the contradictions, causes of contradictions, and resolutions of contradictions have hindered or influenced the teachers to integrate ICT in their teaching. The findings indicate the activity system of department and school (prior activities) influencing activity system of the classroom (recent activity), led to the successful integration of ICT by teachers in teaching.

Measurement of information technology governance capability level: a case study of PT Bank BBS

The very close involvement of technology in the banking industry makes almost all banking activities and products currently dependent on information technology (IT). PT BPRS Bhakti Sumekar (PT BBS Bank) is one of the banks that realizes the importance of IT in the digital era and has included IT as part of the company's strategic plan. The company states that compliance with regulations, best practices, and standards is key to a successful IT implementation. In this study, the measurement of the capability level of corporate IT governance was conducted to determine what IT priorities were based on the company's strategic objectives and what recommendations could be given based on best practices to improve IT services in support of the company's strategic goals. The framework to be used is control objective for information and related technology (COBIT); the most widely used framework suitable for service-oriented organizations. The results of research using COBIT 2019 show how IT governance is needed by the company and what should be prioritized. The measurement results found that there is still a gap between management's expectations and the current level of capability and provide recommendations on what companies need to improve performance in order to meet expectations.
