Implementasi Metodologi Prototype dalam Pengembangan Sistem Manajemen Kehadiran Pegawai Perusahaan Berbasis Web

Employee Attendance data has an important function in evaluating productivity and work discipline. The current management of employee attendance data at the CV Baja Diva Manufaktur company requires the administrator to check attendance data from the Excel file generated by the fingerprint machine. This management is done by checking the attendance data of each employee individually. In addition, administrative processes related to permits, warning letters, and overtime are also carried out manually, which requires employees to report directly to the office. This process is time-consuming and prone to data input errors. Therefore, this research aims to develop a system that is more efficient and flexible in managing employee attendance data. The research also revealed that most employees have little to no experience in information technology-based management systems. The methodology applied in this research is the prototype methodology, which was chosen because it can provide a better understanding of user needs and perspectives through continuous feedback during the development process. The implementation of the prototype methodology involved four iterations, where each iteration included the stages of listening to user feedback and complaints, building and refining the prototype, and testing and evaluating the prototype with users. The results of the prototype were then implemented using the CodeIgniter framework. Feedback from users showed that the prototype effectively met users' needs and significantly improved the efficiency of attendance management. The usability testing results using questionnaires from 20 users showed an average satisfaction rate of 95.85%, indicating that this system can be applied in various organizations.

ANALISIS SISTEM MANAJEMEN BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU OUTPUT PESERTA DIDIK DI MI NURUL HUDA SIDOARJO

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nurul Huda must provide quality education services and be supported by information technology in improving academic and non-academic quality. This study aims to determine information technology-based management systems at MI Nurul Huda and to analyze information technology-based management systems in improving the quality of student output at MI Nurul Huda. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The subjects in this study were the principal, the vice principal, and the teacher council. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the information technology management system that takes place at MI Nurul Huda is computer-based learning, E-Learning, data-based applications, E-Rapot, Fingerprint, PPDB Online, and also webinars; efforts made by madrasas to improve the quality of output at MI Nurul Huda include: organizing digital-based learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic and carrying out face-to-face learning assisted by technology, although it is still limited to improving the quality of teaching and learning; sending talented students to take part in academic and non-academic competitions, motivating students, and providing directions to students who wish to continue to a higher level, the use of information technology can make a significant contribution in improving the quality of student output both in data management students, the learning process, a collaboration between teachers, students, and parents.

A framework for information technology-based management against COVID-19 in Iran

BackgroundThe COVID-19 pandemic has become a global concern. Iran is one of the countries affected most by the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. As a result, the use of information technology (IT) has a variety of applications for pandemic management. The purpose of this study was to develop a conceptual framework for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic via IT management, based on extensive literature review and expert knowledge.MethodsThe conceptual framework is developed in three stages: (1) a literature review to gather practical experience with IT applications for managing the COVID-19 pandemic, (2) a study of Iranian documents and papers that present Iran’s practical experience with COVID-19, and (3) developing a conceptual framework based on the previous steps and validating it through a Delphi approach in two rounds, and by 13 experts.ResultsThe proposed conceptual framework demonstrates that during pandemics, 22 different types of technologies were used for various purposes, including virtual education, early warning, rapid screening and diagnosis of infected individuals, and data management. These objectives were classified into six categories, with the following applications highlighted: (1) Prevention (M-health, Internet search queries, telehealth, robotics, Internet of things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data, Virtual Reality (VR), social media); (2) Diagnosis (M-health, drones, telehealth, IoT, Robotics, AI, Decision Support System (DSS), Electronic Health Record (EHR)); (3) Treatment (Telehealth, M-health, AI, Robotic, VR, IoT); (4) Follow-up (Telehealth, M-health, VR), (5) Management & planning (Geographic information system, M-health, IoT, blockchain), and (6) Protection (IoT, AI, Robotic and automatic vehicles, Augmented Reality (AR)). In Iran, the use of IT for prevention has been emphasized through M-health, internet search queries, social media, video conferencing, management and planning objectives using databases, health information systems, dashboards, surveillance systems, and vaccine coverage.ConclusionsIT capabilities were critical during the COVID-19 outbreak. Practical experience demonstrates that various aspects of information technologies were overlooked. To combat this pandemic, the government and decision-makers of this country should consider strategic planning that incorporates successful experiences against COVID-19 and the most advanced IT capabilities.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-BASED MANAGEMENT EDUCATION IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS

This study aims to analyze the role of information technology-based management education in vocational schools. The implementation of technology was conducted in several schools, covering managerial aspects as well as academic aspects. This research utilizes a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data obtained through literature review and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results show that technology-based management education is essential to provide information to support and facilitate the management and academic processes daily. Schools must invest in technology-based school systems to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of school management generally.

PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN UNTUK MENJALIN KERJASAMA DENGAN WALI MURID

This research found out the implementation of management information systems in SMP N 1 Talamau. We used qualitative research methods. The result showed that the existing management information system meets standards, both in terms of students, curriculum, human resources, facilities and quality of users, who are able to manage the activities that exist in schools. Then, the role of parents is also important in implementing management information systems to improve the quality of education in SMP N 1 Talamau, implementing special strategies that utilize information technology-based management information systems, namely information and consultation rooms that function as a center for consultation between schools and parents in providing access to parents to see the development of students' academic values.

Includes data management and data storage management is done simply where data is only stored in excel. It looks less effective and efficient in technology’s development. Now, in Education, the lack of good cooperation between the school and parents to support the application of management information systems to improve quality of education. This is the implementation of Management Information System is already being adopted by schools, especially in SMP N 1 Talamau. The researcher use field research method that is qualitative research. The outcomes are that existing management information systems already meet the standards, both in terms of the student, curriculum, human resources, the facilities and the quality of the user, who is able to manage the activities that exist in the school. And then, the role of parents is also important in implementing management information systems to improve the quality of education. SMP N 1 Talamau applies a specific strategy that utilizes information technology-based Management Information Systems, namely an information and consultation room that functions as a consultation center between the school and parents and gives access to parents to see the development of students' Academic values.
