The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of user involvement, training and education, and top management support on the performance of accounting information systems. The dependent variable in this study is the performance of accounting information systems. While the independent variables are user involvement, training and education, and top management support. The sample taken in this study were 54 respondents who were employees of the Sentani Malang Oncology Hospital who used the accounting information system. The analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and PLS analysis using warpls7. The results of this study show: (1) There is a positive and significant direct influence between user involvement on the performance of the accounting information system, (2) There is a positive and significant direct influence between training and education on the performance of the accounting information system, (3) There is a positive and significant direct influence between top management support on the performance of the accounting information system.

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence and analyze the influence of user friendliness, top management support, system formalization, education and training and company size on the performance of accounting information systems. The population in this study are hospitality employees whose work uses accounting information systems. The number of samples used was 103 respondents using purposive sampling technique. This research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire with Likert scale measurement. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis.
 From the results of this study indicate the influence of user involvement, the formalization of the system has no effect on the accounting information system and top management support, education and training, company size influences the accounting information system

The accounting information system helps in terms of making external reports, supporting routine activities, supporting decision making, planning and controlling and implementing internal control. The effectiveness of accounting information systems can be influenced by a number of factors including: the involvement of users or employees who use accounting information systems, the complexity of the work done by employees, and the support of top management. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of user involvement, task complexity, and top management support on the effectiveness of the use of accounting information systems in Saving and Credit Cooperatives in South Denpasar District. The population used in this study were all Savings and Loan Cooperative employees in the South Denpasar District of 285 people. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling so that 83 people were obtained as samples. After testing the instrument and testing the classic assumptions, then data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression analysis, determination, t test, and F test. The results of the analysis showed that the influence of user involvement on the effectiveness of the application of accounting information systems obtained a regression coefficient of 0.678, a t-test value of 8.831 and a significant value of the t test of 0.000 <0.05, so H1 was accepted. The effect of task complexity on the effectiveness of applying the accounting information system obtained a regression coefficient of -0.261, a calculated t value of -2.069 and a significant value of t test of 0.042 <0.05, so H2 was accepted. The influence of top management support on the effectiveness of the application of accounting information systems obtained a regression coefficient of 0.451, a calculated t value of 2.636 and a significant value of t test of 0.010 <0.05, so that H3 is accepted. It is suggested to cooperatives to keep trying to develop and implement a better and quality accounting information system.

Pengaruh Keterlibatan Pengguna pada Efektivitas Penggunaan SIA dengan Kapabilitas Personal Sistem Informasi Sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi

This study aims to determine the effect of user involvement on the effectiveness of the use of accounting information systems and to determine the personal capabilities of information systems in moderating the influence of user involvement on the effectiveness of using accounting information systems at PT. Bali Regional Development Bank. The number of respondents used in this study were 52 people who served as executors in the Information and Accounting Technology (TIA) section. Data collection is done by survey method with data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out using moderation regression analysis. The results of the study show that user involvement supported by the personal capabilities of information systems is able to increase the effectiveness of the use of accounting information systems at PT. Bali Regional Development Bank.

Dukungan Manajemen Puncak Memoderasi Keterlibatan Pengguna dan Kemampuan Pengguna pada Kinerja SIA DISPERINDAG Provinsi Bali

The use of computerized accounting information systems can assist in the processing of corporate data so that the data will produce an information that can be useful for the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of user involvement, user ability and top management support on the performance of accounting information system at the Dinas Perindutrian dan Perdagangan of Bali Province. This study took a sample of all users of Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah (SIPKD) at Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Bali Province based on non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique as much as 40 sampling. Data collection was done by survey method. Analytical techniques in this study using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that user involvement has positive implications on the performance of Accounting Information Systems and the ability of users to have a positive implication on the performance of Accounting Information Systems. The result of Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) shows that Peak Management Support strengthens the influence of User Involvement on Accounting Information System Performance while Top Management Support is unable to moderate User Ability to Accounting Information System Performance.

Influence of End Users Involvement in Procurement Decision Making on Purchasing Performance at Kenya Police College, Kiganjo

This study was intended to establish the influence of user involvement in procurement decisions making on purchasing performance in Kenya Police College, Kiganjo. The study was a survey as primary data was collected for the purpose of the study. The target population for the study included all employees in Kenya Police College, Kiganjo. All the employees were involved in the study making this a census study. The study was guided by Consumer Involvement Theory and Principal-Agency Theory. Data was collected through structured questionnaires that were issued through drop and pick technique. Collected data were coded and analyzed through SPSS and presented through tables accompanied by relevant discussions. The research variables were studied through descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) while the influence of end user involvement on purchasing performance was studied through inferential statistics (correlation and regression analysis). F-test was used to test research hypotheses. A multiple regression model was developed to guide the study. The findings revealed a statistically significant influence of user involvement on specification development, purchasing planning and tender evaluation on performance of purchasing activities. The study recommends that management of Kenya Police College, Kiganjo as well as other public organizations should consider involving users in specification development and purchasing planning while the procurement function should provide guidance during the process. Tender evaluation should be conducted by well constituted and well informed committee. Further studies should be conducted to establish the role of end users in development of organizational procurement policies such as e-procurement, procure to pay etc. Similarly, study should be conducted to establish factor hindering end user involvement in purchasing activities especially in public organizations.

The Influence of User Involvement and Personal Innovativeness on User Behavior

The search for factors that influence user behavior has remained an important theme for both the academic and practitioner Information Systems Communities. In this paper we examine relevant user behaviors in the phase after adoption and investigate two factors that are expected to influence such behaviors, namely User Involvement (UI) and Personal Innovativeness in IT (PIIT). We conduct a field study to examine how these factors influence post- adoption behavior and how they are interrelated. Building on theoretical premises and prior empirical findings, we propose and test two alternative models of the relationship between these factors. Our results reveal that the best explanation of post-adoption behavior is provided by the model where UI and PIIT independently influence post-adoption behavior. Our findings have important implications for research and practice. To that end, we offer directions for future research.

Introducing Role and Service Changes in Health and Social Care: The Impact and Influence of User Involvement in England and Wales

A key characteristic of the English and Welsh system of care provision is that the supply function is divided between two types of organisation: the National Health Service (NHS) and local authorities. These inter-organisational and the related inter-professional divides have long been recognised as problematic from a user and carer viewpoint; and various policy changes have attempted to address them. This paper draws on three different research projects to describe practical experiences of user and carer involvement in this context (a) the Evaluation of the 1999 Health Act Section 31 flexibilities encouraging more effective service delivery partnerships between the NHS and local authorities in England; (b) a Baseline Study of Partnership Working and Flexibilities Use in Wales; and (c) the Evaluation of the NHS Changing Workforce Programme, which implemented new ways of working to improve patient care across health and social care in England. In synthesising the studies' findings, the paper also begins to explore relationships between involvement effectiveness and different types of NHS–local authority partnership as they seek to introduce change and deliver more effective services.

The influence of user involvement on the learning of mental health nursing students

This comparative study investigates the effect of user involvement in classroom work on mental health students' learning while undertaking the Diploma in Higher Education and Nursing programme. Recent policy recommendations suggest there should be user involvement in all aspects of the nursing curriculum. However, there appears to be a dearth of literature evaluating the outcomes of this on student learning. In this study, triangulation of methods was utilised; this consisted of classroom observation, student questionnaires and focus group discussion to evaluate the user involvement. A user-centred measurement tool was developed from earlier work that provided a measure on three dimensions: the use of terminology and jargon, empathetic understanding, and an individualised approach when identifying and responding to clients' needs. The outcomes indicated that students who were given an experience of user involvement in classroom work differed from those in the same cohort who had not been exposed to similar user input - they were less likely to rely on the use of professional terminology and jargon, more able to empathise with clients' distressing experiences, less likely to use defensive 'distancing' and more likely to take an individualised approach to assessment and intervention. This supported the intended aims of the project: that user involvement would enable students to take a more user-centred approach to mental health assessment.
