Pengaruh Sustainability Reporting, Dewan Komisaris Independen Terhadap Financial Distress dengan Sales Growth Sebagai Variabel Moderasi

The phenomenon that occurred in this research regarding the growth ratio in chemical sector manufacturing companies in Indonesia in 2019-2022 experienced a decline due to fluctuations which would result in financial difficulties. This research aims to determine the influence of sustainability reports, an independent board of commissioners on financial distress and sales growth as a moderating variable. The data collection technique is downloading annual reports from the official Indonesian Stock Exchange website www.idx.co.id or chemical sector manufacturing company websites, so that there are 25 companies as a population with a sample size of 100 using a purposive sampling method. Data processing with SmartPLS version 4 software uses a partial least squares (PLS) approach. The results of this research show that the variable sustainability report, independent board of commissioners has a significant influence on financial distress. Sales growth can moderate the influence of the sustainability report on financial distress and the influence of the independent board of commissioners on financial distress.

Pengaruh Solvabilitas, Profitabilitas, Kepemilikan Institusional, Dewan Komisaris Independen, dan Kepemilikan Publik terhadap Pengungkapan Manajemen Risiko: Studi pada Perusahaan Sub-sektor Perbankan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2018-2022

The object of this research is a banking sub-sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. This study aims to determine the effect of leevrage, profitability, institutional ownership, independent board of commissioners, and public ownership as independent variables and risk management disclosure as the dependent variable. This study used 35 companies, so there were a total of 175 samples used. The study used purposive sampling as a sample selection method used for the selection of certain criteria. This study applied descriptive statistical analysis method and panel data regression analysis. The results of this study show that all variables simultaneously influence risk management disclosure. Meanwhile, leverage, profitability, and independent board of commissioners each have no effect. Meanwhile, institutional ownership and public ownership positively affect risk management disclosure.

The Effect of Profitability and Good Corporate Governance Mechanisms on the Timeliness of Annual Financial Report Publication: An Empirical Study on the Infrastructure, Utilities, and Transportation Subsector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020 - 2022

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and the mechanism of Good Corporate Governance, as proxied by the independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, and the audit committee, on the timeliness of annual financial report publication. The study uses companies from the infrastructure, utilities, and transportation sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2022. The data analysis technique used is purposive sampling. The sample in this study consists of 27 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that profitability and the independent board of commissioners do not affect the timeliness of the annual financial report publication. Managerial ownership and the audit committee do affect the timeliness of the annual financial report publication.

Pengaruh Tax Avoidance, Earnings Persistence dan Sustainability Report terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dengan Dewan Komisaris Independen Sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi

Business performance, investor expectations and growth prospects are reflected in the firm's value. High value makes a business more attractive to shareholders and investors and makes it easier for companies to obtain external funding. The aims of this research is to analyze the effect of tax avoidance, earnings persistence and sustainability report on firm value and analyze the effect of tax avoidance, earnings persistence and sustainability report on firm value with independent board of commissioners as a moderating variable. Research in mining sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2020-2022 uses quantitative methodology. A total of 97 companies became the population of this study. Purposive sampling was used in this study to collect data into 77 samples. The data analysis stage uses three steps, namely prediction testing, classical assumption testing, and statistical analysis of variance with SPSS software. The findings show that tax avoidance has no effect on firm value. However, firm value is influenced by sustainability report elements and earnings persistence. In addition, the independent board of commissioners has an influence in terms of strengthening/weakening the relationship between earnings persistence and sustainability report on firm value. Meanwhile, in tax avoidance, the board of commissioners has no influence in strengthening / weakening the relationship to firm value. The conclusions of this study have consequences for regulators and prospective shareholder. Findings from this research can be useful for policy makers, especially those related to tax avoidance, earnings persistence and sustainability reports to increase firm value in Indonesia.

Peran Moderasi Dewan Komisaris Independen dan Auditor External Dalam Hubungannya Diantara Pengungkapan Akuntansi Lingkungan dan Nilai Perusahaan

Research objective: To provide empirical evidence of independent boards of commissioners and external auditors in moderating the influence of environmental accounting disclosures on firm value. Method/approach: This research uses multiple regression analysis and purposive sampling method with the sample criteria being firms that take part in the environmental management assessment of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. A total of 112 companies in 2021 and 2022 were used from various sectors except the financial sector. Results: Environmental accounting disclosures, company size, profitability and audit committee were found to have no influence on company size. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners and the big four external auditors were found to have an influence on environmental accounting disclosures, however only the independent board of commissioners could moderate the influence of environmental accounting disclosures on firm value. Practical implications: Independent boards of commissioners in natural resource, service and manufacturing firms have exercised their independence as proven by being able to moderate the influence of the spread of environmental accounting on firm value. This may attract the attention and investment interest of investors and stakeholders. Originality/novelty: Making the independent board of commissioners and external auditors as moderating variables, adds evidence to agency theory that simply giving power and appointing firm management is not enough but the independent board of commissioners must carry out independent supervision so that it can increase firm value.

VALUE OF THE COMPANY : THE MEDIATING RETURN ON EQUITY

The grand theory in this research was built by combining Signal Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Agency Theory as a conceptual basis for hypothesis development. Signal Theory highlights how information companies convey, such as implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG), can influence investor confidence and investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of CSR and GCG on company value (Tobin's Q), mediated by financial performance, with a focus on Islamic Social Responsibility (ISR), Independent Board of Commissioners (IBC), and Institutional Ownership (IO). They are using a quantitative method. The data is derived from the annual financial reports of 39 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2021. The purposive sampling technique was chosen to ensure that the sample used was relevant and could provide valid data to test the relationship between the variables studied and answer the research hypothesis comprehensively. Secondary data was collected from www.idx.co.id, and path analysis was employed as the analytical method. The findings reveal that CSR, ISR, IBC, and IO positively and directly influence company value (Tobin's Q). These results underscore the critical role of CSR and GCG in shaping a company's financial performance and market value.

Impact of The Corporate Governance on Sustainability Report Disclosure with Environmental Performance as A Moderation Variable in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate governance on sustainability report disclosure, with environmental performance acting as a moderating variable. The analysis focuses on the role of the board of directors, independent commissioners, audit committees, and financial performance in influencing the quality of sustainability reporting, particularly within the Indonesian context. Environmental performance is measured using the PROPER scale. The study utilizes data from the annual and sustainability reports of 20 companies in the basic materials and energy mining sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022, amounting to 100 observations. The data is processed using SPSS 23. The results show that the presence of female directors significantly enhances the quality of sustainability disclosures, as they tend to prioritize social responsibility. Moreover, financial performance, as measured by Return on Assets (ROA), positively affects sustainability reporting, with companies in better financial health being more transparent in their disclosures. Environmental performance, when combined with strong independent oversight, further improves reporting quality, reflecting the positive influence of independent commissioners and sound financial governance. The study concludes that environmental performance, as measured by the PROPER scale, plays a significant role in improving sustainability disclosures in Indonesia. It recommends that the Indonesian government provide stronger support and clearer regulations to help companies improve their sustainability practices and contribute to the G20 agenda.

The Effect of Institutional Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners and Profitability on Tax Avoidance in Technology Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

This study aims to analyze the effect of institutional ownership, independent board of commissioners, and profitability on tax avoidance in technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021-2023 period. The research method used is quantitative with secondary data analysis from financial reports published through the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Analysis techniques include descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results of the study partially show that Institutional Ownership has a significant but negative effect on tax avoidance with a t-value of -6.350 and a significance of 0.028, which is greater than 0.05. The Independent Board of Commissioners has a significant but negative effect on tax avoidance, reflected in the t-value of -5.395 and a significance of 0.034, which is greater than 0.05. Likewise, profitability has a significant but negative effect on tax avoidance with a t-value of -1.758 and a significance of 0.048 greater than 0.05. Simultaneous analysis shows that the combination of these three variables as a whole has a significant effect on tax avoidance. In conclusion, each variable partially and simultaneously shows a significant influence on tax avoidance, which indicates that these factors need to be considered in the company's strategy related to tax avoidance. PENGARUH GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN PROFITABILITAS SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance proxied with independent board of commissioners, audit committee, and institutional ownership on company value proxied with Tobin's Q with profitability proxied with Return On Asset (ROA) as a mediation variable. The population in this study was obtained using purposive sampling method on Banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019-2021 and based on predetermined criteria, a sample of 68 companies was obtained. The analysis method used is path analysis and sobel test with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) Version 25 application tools. The results of the research analysis prove that: 1) The independent board of commissioners has an effect on profitability, 2) The audit committee has no effect on profitability, 3) institutional ownership has an effect on probability, The independent board of commissioners has an effect on the value of the company, 4) The independent board of commissioners has an effect on the value of the company, 5) The audit committee has no effect on the value of the company, 6) Institutional ownership has an effect on the value of the company, 7) Profitability has no effect on the value of the company, 8) Profitability as a mediating variable is not able to mediate the influence of the variable of the independent board of commissioners on the value of the company, 9) Profitability as a mediating variable is not able to mediate the effect of audit committee variables on company value, 10) Profitability as a mediation variable is not able to mediate the influence of institutional ownership variables on company value

The Influence of Good Corporate Governance Mechanism and Audit Quality on the Level of Accounting Conservatism

The objective of this study is to determine whether Managerial Ownership, an Independent Board of Commissioners, a Board of Directors, an Audit Committee, and Audit Quality influence Accounting Conservatism in Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2019 and 2022. The sampling technique was purposive sampling of 37 companies that satisfied the criteria. The technique employs panel data regression analysis with the Eviews 12 software. The outcomes of the study show that partial managerial ownership and the board of directors have an impact on accounting conservatism. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners, audit committee, and audit quality all demonstrate that they have little impact on accounting conservatism. Simultaneously, the research findings reveal that managerial ownership, an independent board of commissioners, a board of directors, an audit committee, and audit quality all have an impact on accounting conservatism.

Good Corporate Governance, Intellectual Capital, and ICSR in Companies in Jakarta Islamic Index

ABSTRACT Indonesia's sharia economy and finance is increasingly developing and encouragingthe birth of social responsibility based on Islamic norms called Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR). The aim of this research is to determine the influence of good corporate governance and intellectual capital on Islamic corporate social responsibility. The GCG components used are the size of the board of directors, audit committee and independent commissioners. The type of approach in this research is quantitative. The companies in the sample are companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2018-2022 period using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is panel data regression. The results of data testing explain that the size of the board of directors, independent commissioners, and intellectual capital have a significant positive influence on ICSR. Meanwhile, the size of the audit committee does not have a significant influence on ICSR disclosure. Simultaneously, GCG and Intellectual capital have an influence on ICSR disclosure.

Determinant Factors of Firm Value in Coal Mining Firms: Evidence from Indonesia

This research investigates how firm value in coal mining companies is influenced by profitability, leverage, and corporate governance between 2014 and 2020. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a descriptive methodology, the study analyzed secondary data from 21 coal companies, totaling 147 data points, sourced from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). Findings reveal that Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) and the presence of an Independent Board of Commissioners positively affect firm value. Conversely, managerial ownership and the Audit Committee's impact on firm value were negligible, due to limited managerial stakes and inadequate audit committees. Return On Assets (ROA) did not affect firm value, likely due to significant data variation and decreasing trends. The study suggests that a robust corporate governance structure ensures informed decision-making and minimizes strategic errors. Management should focus on enhancing operational efficiency to boost profitability.

Mekanisme GCG Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan dengan Kinerja Lingkungan sebagai Variabel Intervening

This study integrates the variables that have been studied into a mediation analysis. The population used in this study are Manufacturing Companies Listed on the IDX and PROPER for the 2019-2021 period, totaling 69 companies. The selection or sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely the selection or sampling technique with certain considerations and criteria in mind. So that the sample data in this study were 117. The analysis technique used was multivariate with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Sequare (SEM-PLS). The research results of the board of directors have an effect on financial performance but have no effect on environmental performance, the board of commissioners has an effect on environmental performance but has no effect on financial performance, an independent board of commissioners has an effect on environmental performance but has no effect on financial performance, the audit committee has no effect on financial performance and environmental performance, institutional ownership has no effect on financial performance and environmental performance, managerial ownership has no effect on financial performance on environmental performance. Environmental performance cannot be an intervening variable in the relationship between the proportions of the board of directors, board of commissioners, independent board of commissioners, audit committee, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership of financial performance.

The Effect of Good Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility toward Corporate Value

This study aimed to determine the effect of the size of independent commissioners, boards of directors, audit committees, institutional ownership and CSR disclosure on the value of manufacturing industry companies listed on the IDX in 2018 – 2022. This study employs a method with secondary data as the data source—methods of data collection in this study using literature or documentation studies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with multiple regression analysis techniques as the data analysis technique. The number of data used in this study is 175 samples. The results showed that the size of the independent board of commissioners and audit committee affected firm value, and other variables partially had no effect on firm value. In addition, simultaneously, the size of the independent board of commissioners, board of directors, audit committee, institutional ownership and CSR affect firm value.

Te Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Influence on Corporate Financial Performance

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of CSR which will be viewed from CSR disclosures carried out by the company and GCG PROXIED by institutional ownership, managerial ownership and an independent board of commissioners on the company's financial performance. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed on the BEI in 2019 - 2021. Sampling used the purposive sampling method that collected 37 companies. The analysis was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that corporate social responsibility, institutional ownership and managerial ownership do not affect on financial performance. Independent board of commissioners has a positive effect on financial performance. The results of this research are expected to provide the government an evaluation material regarding corporate social responsibility regulations.

Corporate Governance and Market Response: Mediating Role of Firm Performance Empirical Evidence from Indonesia

This research aims to investigate the influence of corporate governance on market response (Rit) through company performance (ROI). Corporate governance uses measurements of the intensity of participation of managerial ownership, independent board of commissioners, audit committee and institutional ownership in the process of monitoring the company's managerial processes. Using a quantitative approach with ordinary leasquare analysis techniques and path analysis. Data from 60 manufacturing companies with the observation period 2017 to 2021, totaling N 285 samples. The research results show that corporate governance variables are dominated by managerial ownership in influencing company performance (ROI) and the ROI variable partially mediates the relationship between managerial ownership of the company and stock returns. Meanwhile, independent commissioner ownership, audit committee and institutional ownership do not affect company performance or stock returns. Thus, the governance conditions of manufacturing companies in Indonesia are dominated by managerial ownership compared to the ownership of independent boards of commissioners, institutional ownership and audit committees. In other words, supervision of managerial process governance is only dominated by managerial ownership.

Pengaruh Pandemi Covid 19, Financial Distress, Good Corporate Governance terhadap Manajemen Laba pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2018-2022

This research aims to test and determine the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, financial distress, good corporate governance (independent board of commissioners and managerial ownership) on earnings management. Leverage and company size are control variables. This research uses companies operating in the manufacturing sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018 to 2022. The sample used is 36 samples of manufacturing companies over a 5year period. This research uses descriptive statistical methods for data analysis. estimation for making panel regression models, model testing and hypothesis testing using the Eviews12 program. The research results show that the Covid 19 pandemic has a positive effect on earnings management, financial distress has no effect on earnings management, an independent board of commissioners has no effect on earnings management, and managerial ownership has no effect on earnings management.

Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance Dan Corporate Social Responsibility Pada Tax Avoidance

Good corporate governance and CSR are the foci of this research since they may have an impact on tax evasion. Quantitative studies based on secondary sources are used in this investigation. For the years 2019–2022, forty-three businesses operating in the food and beverage manufacturing subsector and listed on the Indonesian stock market (IDX) made up the study's population. The 88 samples were obtained using the purposive sampling approach that relies on criteria. Using SPSS version 22.0, the data was analysed using multiple linear regression analysis. This research found that tax evasion is reduced when management ownership is applied. When it comes to avoiding taxes, the board of directors is not on board. Tax evasion is negatively impacted by institutional ownership. When it comes to tax evasion, the Independent Board of Commissioners is a drag. Tax evasion is negatively impacted by the Audit Committee. Tax evasion is impacted negatively by corporate social responsibility. Companies are less likely to evade paying taxes if there is more management and institutional ownership as well as an independent board of commissioners, audit committee, and CSR initiatives.

Influence of Inventory Turnover, Receivable Turnover, and Sales Growth on Profitability with Good Corporate Governance as a Moderating Variable

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of inventory turnover, receivable turnover and sales growth partially and simultaneously on ROA in trading and distribution business companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research are trading and distribution business companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used in this research was the purposive sampling method and 12 companies were obtained. The analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the SPSS 29 program. The results of this research conclude that inventory turnover has an effect on profitability while receivable turnover and sales growth have no effect on profitability. While the Independent Board of Commissioners can significantly influence the relationship between inventory turnover and profitability, the Independent Board of Commissioners cannot influence or is unable to moderate the relationship between receivable turnover and sales growth and profitability.
