Economic Factors Affecting Corn Commodity Switching (Zea Mays) To California Papaya Commodity (Carica Papaya L.) In South Oku District

Current conditions in South Ogan Komeroing Ulu Regency, generally California papaya farming income is greater than corn farming income. This is influenced by several economic factors. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the economic factors affecting the transfer of corn commodity (zea mays) to California papaya commodity (carica papaya l.) in South OKU District. This research was conducted in South OKU District, Muaradua Subdistrict and Buay Rawan Subdistrict. Determination of the location was carried out intentionally (Purposive). The sampling method used was the multistage sampling method. Multistage sampling with a total sample size of 60 samples. The research method used in this research is the survey method. This data processing method used is the logit regression analysis method. Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that the economic factors that influence land conversion from corn commodity to California papaya in South OKU Regency are independent variables, namely price, farming costs, farming experience, land area and income have a significant effect on consumer decisions.

Peran Petani Jagung Dalam Meningkatkan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Margo Lestari

Corn farming holds immense potential in Margo Lestari Village. The community views it as a promising avenue for income generation and improved living standards. This study delves into the characteristics of corn farming experience, labor and capital allocation, and their impact on the community's economic well-being. Additionally, it identifies the obstacles faced by farmers in developing this lucrative crop. The qualitative data analysis reveals that farming experience, labor allocation, and capital play crucial roles in determining corn farming income. Land ownership and control also influence revenue levels. Labor is a vital factor, particularly during the harvest season. However, farmers encounter several challenges. Labor shortages during peak periods, pest and disease attacks, and limited access to eco-friendly pest control measures hinder progress. Even mild pest infestations can significantly impact corn production, leading to increased reliance on chemical pesticides. Furthermore, marketing through middlemen and lack of transportation facilities to reach traditional markets restrict profit margins. Based on these findings, the study proposes several solutions. Mobilizing and regulating labor allocation can optimize production and potentially increase revenue. Seeking environmentally friendly pest control alternatives can ensure the sustainability of corn farming. In conclusion, corn farming holds significant promise for Margo Lestari's economic development. By addressing the identified challenges and implementing the proposed solutions, the community can harness the full potential of this valuable crop and boost its collective prosperity.

Efisiensi Produksi Usahatani Jagung Pada Sistem Budidaya Olah Tanah Dan Tanpa Olah Tanah Di Kabupaten Lombok Barat

The objectives of this research are 1). Analyze the level of corn productivity in the OT and TOT systems 2). Analyzing the costs and income of corn farming in the OT and TOT systems, 3). Analyze the factors that influence corn production, 4). Analyzing the efficiency of corn production in the OT and TOT systems, and 5). Analyzing the efficiency of using corn production factors in the OT and TOT systems in West Lombok Regency. This research uses descriptive methods, data collection uses survey techniques. The types of data in this research are quantitative data and qualitative data. The respondents in this study were corn farmers who are members of Gerung District, Sheet District and Sekotong District because these three Districts are the Districts that produce the most corn in West Lombok Regency. The determination of respondents was determined by quota sampling of 90 people, where from each sub-district, 15 farmers were taken using the tillage system and 15 farmers with tillage, who were taken using simple random sampling (simple random sampling) by drawing randomly. Shows that the average cost of corn farming with a tillage system is IDR 33,429,620.05 greater than the cost of corn farming with a no-till system of IDR 29,951,766.48. Production is also the same, OT 11,212.64 Kg and TOT 9,598.44 Kg. and OT income of IDR 13,663,486.65 and TOT 10,323,900.19. The production function equation for the tillage system is as follows: Y = 98,363 + 7285,316 + 10,684 - 23,083 - 0.251 - 1,070 + 67,469 + 96,180 + 148,929 - 5,275 - 0.869. The production function equation for the no-till system is as follows: Y = 376,366 + 1,398 + 56,372 + 33,368 + 1,757 + 17,095 + 513,285 + 591,852 + 648,293 + 7,566 - 112,733. The results of the production efficiency analysis show that the R/C ratio for corn farming with a tillage system is 1.84 and corn farming with a no tillage system is 1.81, which shows that both are efficient in terms of production. The results of the efficiency analysis of the use of production factors in farming with tillage and no tillage systems are at an inefficient level due to the use of production factors which is still high.

Perbandingan Pendapatan Usahatani Jagung Berdasarkan Etnis Petani Di Desa Sidodadi Kecamatan Sangkub Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara

This study aims to identify the comparison of corn farming income based on the ethnicity of farmers in Sidodadi Village, Sangkub Subdistrict, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The data collection method used in this research is primary data obtained through direct interviews to respondents and secondary data obtained from relevant government agencies in the research location. Sampling sampling used is Simple Random Sampling (Simple random sample) the sample is taken randomly. which will be sampled as many as 15 samples consisting of 5 Javanese Ethnic, 5 Minahasa Ethnic, and 5 Gorotalo Ethnic. The results of this study indicate that the highest total income of each ethnicity is Javanese Ethnicity with a total income of IDR 4,420,714 and the lowest total income is Gorontalo Ethnicity with a total income of IDR 1,635,625.

PENGARUH FAKTOR SOSIAL EKONOMI TERHADAP PRODUKSI USAHATANI JAGUNG DI DESA BADARAI KECAMATAN WEWIKU KABUPATEN MALAKA

This research was conducted in Badarai Village, Wewiku Sub-district, Malacca Regency from January to February 2023. This study aims to (1) estimate corn farming income, and (2) find out what socioeconomic factors affect corn farming production. The results showed that (1) The average revenue earned by hybrid corn farmers is Rp. 11,489,063 with a total production cost of Rp. 2,879,947. Then by using the income formula, the average net income per farmer is Rp. 8,609,116. While the average revenue per hectare is 12,884,930 with a total production cost of Rp. 3,229,847 so that an average net income per hectare of Rp. 9,655,083. (2) Simultaneously, the results show that there is a real influence between age, education level, land area, capital, number of labor, and farming experience on corn farming production. The findings of the partial test indicate that the factors land area, age, capital, number of workers, and farming experience have a substantial impact on corn farming production. Meanwhile, the variable of education level does not significantly affect the production of corn farming in Badarai Village, Wewiku Sub-district, Malaka Regency.

Pendapatan Usahatani Jagung Di Desa Tumani Selatan Kecamatan Maesaan Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan

This study aims to calculate corn farming income in Tumani Selatan Village, Maesaan Sub-district, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from June to July 2023. Sampling using sample survey method with 16 farmers as respondents. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data and use income analysis calculations. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis in determining production, revenue and income. The results showed that the average revenue of corn farmers per hectare in South Tumani Village, Maesaan Subdistrict, South Minahasa Regency in one harvest was IDR16.588.090. The average income of corn farmers per hectare amounted to IDR8.537.786.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN EFISIENSI USAHATANI JAGUNG PADA LAHAN KERING DI KECAMATAN WAWO KABUPATEN BIMA

Increasing maize production can be done by utilizing dry land as a potential land for maize farming development. This research aims to determine the income of corn farming and calculate the efficiency of corn farming on dry land in Wawo District, Bima Regency. Based on the research results, the value of corn farming income amounted to Rp 4,886,423.69/ha. The efficient value of farming based on the calculation of the R/C ratio is 1.37, meaning that corn farming is in the efficient category to be implemented.

Analisis Pendapatan Usahtani Jagung Di Kelurahan Inobonto Kecamatan Bolaang Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow

This study aims to determine the amount of corn farming income according to the area of land they cultivate in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from November 2022 to January 2023. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained in the research field, namely from interviews with corn farmers, while secondary data were obtained from agencies related to the research. The sample used is homogeneous, so the sample determination is carried out proportionally according to the tenure of the land area of 15 respondents. The results of the data obtained, then processed using farming analysis according to Suratiyah. Based on the calculation results of corn farming analysis in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, the farm income with a land area of L < 1 Ha is IDR16,418,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 2.20, and for Land Area 1 < L < 2 Ha With an income of IDR49,702,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.00 while Corn farming income with a Land Area of L> 2 Ha is IDR96,546,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.97. So for all land areas the R/C ratio is greater than 1.

Productivity and Income Analysis of Corn Farming in Lalodati Sub-District Puuwatu District Kendari City

This study aims to determine the productivity of corn farming, the influence of land area, the amount of use of seeds, fertilizers, herbicides, and labor on the productivity of corn farming, as well as the income of corn farming in Lalodati Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari City. This research was conducted from June to August 2022. Determining the number of samples in this study used the Census Method, so the respondents were 25 farmers. The data analysis used is the method of productivity analysis and income analysis. The results showed that the average productivity of corn farming was 1,867 kg/ha/planting season. In contrast, the average income earned by farmers is IDR 5,184,283/per planting season.

Skala Produksi Jagung (Zea mays spp) Di Kecamatan Gunung Sugih Kabupaten Lampung Tengah

Corn is one type of food crop that has high economic value. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cost and income of corn farming, to analyze the factors that influence corn production, to analyze the economies of scale for corn farming in Gunung Sugih District. This research was conducted in Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency. The sampling method uses probability sampling with 32 respondents. The data analysis method used is income analysis, analysis of production factors with the Cobb-Douglas production function and the level of business scale (return to scale). Based on the results of the analysis it is known that the average income of corn farming is IDR 10,148,235.09/ha. Production factors that significantly influence corn production in Gunung Sugih District are land area (X1) and seeds (X2). Corn farming activities are at the level of business scale in field II (constant return to scale), which means that if the use of production factors is added, it will result in an increase in production in the same proportion as the input allocation.

Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Usahatani Jagung Di Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it was found that the variable land area has a significant effect on the income of corn farmers because the wider the land owned will increase the income of farmers because the more land planted is also encouraged by other factors such as plant care. The variable cost of fertilizer has no significant effect on the income of corn farming because the use of fertilizer must be in accordance with the recommended dosage. If it exceeds it can cause plant death and continuous application of fertilizers can have a bad effect on soil conditions. Soil becomes quickly hardened, less able to store water. The cost of pesticides has no significant effect on the income of corn farming because the excessive use of pesticides is not friendly to the environment and the health of farmers, because nutrients in the soil are eroded in the long term and productivity decreases. Seed costs do not have a significant effect on corn farming income. That is, the more seeds used, the greater the production yields, but there is still a maximum limit for this use, if it is used beyond this limit it will reduce production yields. The variable amount of labor does not have a significant effect on the income of farmers because the more labor used will reduce income to provide wages, the labor used in this case is daily workers and only at harvest time. The output price variable does not have a significant effect on farmer income where the increase or a decrease in the total output price will result in an increase and decrease in corn income in the Waterfall Village, Pantai Cermin District.

ANALYSIS OF FARMING BUSINESS AND STRATEGY FOR INCREASING CORN PRODUCTION (ZEA MAYS)

The research objectives were: (1) to find out how much corn farming income was in the research area, (2) to find out the efficiency level of farming income in the research area, (3) to find out strategies for increasing production in the research area. The sampling method uses saturated sampling method (census) with a sample of 30 farmers, the data used are primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using I = TR-TC to calculate income, to calculate the level of efficiency a = R/C, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the average income of corn farmers per hectare in Sena Village was Rp. 6,455,000. R/C value of 1.51 means corn farming is efficient and feasible to cultivate. From the results of the IE matrix, it can be found that the internal X point is 0.9 and the Y point is 0.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI JAGUNG DI DESA MOJOREJO KECAMATAN JUNREJO KOTA BATU

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the production and income of corn farming in Mojorejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. The location of this research was carried out in Mojorejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. The sampling technique used was random sampling method. The total population is 40 corn farmers with sample size taken using the slovin formula. Data analysis techniques used to determine the factors that affect corn farming production in this study used multiple regression models and income analysis. The results showed that the factors that affected corn production in Mojorejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City which had a significant effect on corn production (Y) were seeds (X2), organic fertilizer (X3), and liquid fertilizer (X4). Variables that have no significant effect on corn production (Y) are land area (X1), labor (X5), education (X6), age (X7), experience (X8) and family dependents (X9). The income received from corn farming in Mojorejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City is Rp. 11,453,398,96/planting season (MT) with an average land area of ​​0.45 Ha. ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI JAGUNG DI DESA SIDONDO II KECAMATAN SIGI BIROMARU KABUPATEN SIGI

This research aims to find out how much the income of corn farming in Sidondo II Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research was carried out in Jamuary to March. Determination of respondents was carried out using the simple random sampling method. The data collected in this study are in the form of primary and secondary data.The number of respondents determined as a sample in this study was 31 people from the total population of 102 people. The results of the analysis show that the average acceptance of corn farmer respondents is Rp.8.890.322,58/0,75ha /MT or equivalent to Rp.11.853.763,44 MT/ha, the average total cost of respondents to corn farmers is Rp.4.199.989,48/0,75ha /MT or equivalent to Rp.5.599.985,97/ha/MT, so that the income obtained by the respondents of corn farmers is Rp.4.690.333,10/0,75ha /MT or equivalent to Rp.6.253.777,47/ha/MT.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI JAGUNG BERDASARKAN KEPEMILIKAN LAHAN DI DESA SANGKUB III KECAMATAN SANGKUUB KABUPATEN BOLAANG MONGONDOW UTARA

This study aims to analyze the income of corn farmers in Sangkub III Village based on land ownership. This research was carried out from November to January 2022. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 20 respondents (10 respondents from owner farmers and 10 respondents from rented farmers) using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the government of Sangkub III Village and other institutions related to this research. Sampling method using simple random sampling method or simple random technique. The variables measured were the respondent's characteristics, land tenure status, expenditure, income and revenue. The data analysis method used is farm income analysis. The results showed that, the average income of corn farming in Sangkub III Village, Sangkub District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency in one planting season was obtained by the owner farmer of Rp. 3,756,551/ha, while the average income obtained by rented farmers is Rp. 3,674,520/ha.

COMPARISON OF RICE FARMING INCOME WITH CORN AND WATERMELON FARMING IN SUBAK PANGYANGAN PANGYANGAN VILLAGE, PEKUTATAN DISTRICT

Subak Pangyangan is one of the subaks that still rely on the cultivation of food crops to lift their family's economy, where rice plants are still a food crop that is widely cultivated compared to other crops including corn and watermelon, so the corn and watermelon plants in Subak Pangyangan are Opoortunity Cost or "cost" (as a lost benefit) of the product after making a choice. . The purpose of the study is: 1) analyzing the comparison of rice farming income with opportunity cost (corn and watermelon). 2) describe the obstacles faced by rice, corn and watermelon farmers in Subak Pangyangan, Pangyangan Village, Pekutatan District. Sample collection is used census method that uses the entire population as a research sample. The first goal is analyzed with business income analysis, R/C ratio analysis and one-way anova test to find out the average revenue breakdown using SPSS 25 software, while the second goal is with descriptive analysis methods. The results of the study showed: 1) there is an average difference in nominal terms between the income of rice, corn and watermelon farmers per hectare in one growing season where each agricultural income is Rp 9.510.234.00, corn farming income of Rp 40,895,631.00, and watermelon farming income of Rp 32,526,710.00. The lowest rice R/C ratio among the three types of farming is 2.00, while corn is 5.45 and watermelon is 2.82. Statistical tests showed a marked difference between the three types of farming at a level of 5%. The obstacles faced by farmers include an uncertain climate, pest and disease attacks, price changes, finance / capital and marketing. Income and Efficiency Analysis of Maize Farming in Pringgabaya District East Lombok Regency

East Lombok Regency is one of the maize development areas in NTB Province, however, maize productivity in that area is still relatively low due to the inefficient use of production inputs.The aims of this research are to; 1) analyze the income of corn farming in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency; 2) analyze the factors that influence corn production in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency; 3) analyze the level of economic efficiency in the use of production factors in corn farming in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The location of the research was carried out in Bagek Papan Village and Pringgabaya Village, Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. Respondents in this study were farmers who cultivate corn in paddy fields as many as 30 respondent farmers. Data collection techniques used in this study are survey and interview techniques. Analysis of the data used in corn farming is farm income analysis, Cobb-Douglass production function analysis and efficiency analysis of production factors. The results showed that the income of farmers obtained from corn farming in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency in 2021 was IDR 11,671,745 per arable area or IDR 15,559,705 per hectare. The factors that affect production that have a significant (significant) effect on production are land area at a significant level of 5% and NPK fertilizer at a significant level of 10%. Meanwhile, other variables, namely labor, seeds, urea, TSP and pesticides had no significant effect at the 5% and 10% levels. The production factors used in corn farming in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency are not and have not been efficient to cultivate, this can be seen from the efficiency criteria that have not and none have achieved efficiency with a value of NPMx/Px = 1.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN RISIKO USAHATANI JAGUNG DI KECAMATAN METRO KIBANG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR

This study aims to examine the comparison of income, risk, risk mapping, and risk management strategies by farmersof corn farming in dry land and rainfed land. The survey was conducted in Metro Kibang District, East Lampung Regency in January 2021. The respondents were randomly selected as many as 70 farmers consisting of 40 dry land farmers in Margototo Village and 30 rainfed land farmers in Kibang Village. The data were analyzed using the income difference test, the coefficient of variation difference test, risk mapping, and descriptive analysis of farmers’ strategies. The results showed that the income of corn farming grown in dry land and in rainfed land was different, but both were profitable. The risk of production and income of corn farming in dry land is greater than in rainfed land. The risk mapping in dry land and rainfed land shows that the highest risk source come from pests. In general, dry land farmers and rainfed land farmers have similar strategies, i.e: doing replanting and spraying pesticides for controlling pests. ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHA TANI JAGUNG DI KELURAHAN KAWANGKOAN BAWAH KABUPATEN MINAHASA SELATAN

This study aims to analyze the income of corn farming in Kawangkoan Bawah Village, South Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from June 2021 to October 2021 starting from research preparation to the preparation of the research report. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from the field through interviews using questionnaires with respondents while secondary data is data obtained from government agencies such as government agencies at the research location, Central Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Agriculture and other related parties. Sampling in this study were corn farmers from the village of Lower Kawangkoan who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Respondents needed in this study were 30 (thirty) respondents. The results showed that the total cost of the production component of corn farming in kawangkoan bawah village was Rp. 5,103,379 per planting season. Net income on corn farming per ha in Kawangkoan Bawah Villaget Per one planting season is Rp. 21,246,430.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI JAGUNG MANIS DI KELURAHAN TANI AMAN KECAMATAN LOA JANAN ILIR KOTA SAMARINDA (Analysis of Income of Sweet Corn Farming in Tani Aman Urban Village Loa Janan Ilir Subcity Samarinda City)

Corn plants are very well known by the people of Indonesia, even in some areas it is used as a staple food. One type of corn plants that people like is sweet corn. The aim of this study were to determine the income obtained by farmers in sweet corn farming. This research was conducted in Tani Aman Urban Village, Loa Janan Ilir Subcity, Samarinda City, with a total sample of 24 people. The data collected were primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the amount of sweet corn farming income was IDR293,438,733.33 cropping season (cs)-1 with an average of IDR12,226,613.89 cs-1 respondent-1. The value of R/C ratio of 2.1 indicates that sweet corn farming is profitable to cultivate.
