Progress and Challenges: Implementation of the UK Antimicrobial Resistance National Action Plan 2019-2024 within the Beef Cattle Sub-Sector.

The five-year UK antimicrobial resistance (AMR) National Action Plan (NAP) was published in 2019 focusing on reducing the need for, and unintentional exposure to antimicrobials (AMs); optimising the use of AMs; and investing in innovation, supply and access of AMs. This study aimed to evaluate the progress made in the beef cattle sub-sector in addressing specific NAP commitments related to improving animal health and welfare and responsible antimicrobial use (AMU). A thematic analysis was conducted of 21 semi-structured interviews with stakeholders from government organisations, farms, veterinary practices, levy boards and livestock associations. The findings indicate substantial progress, with various initiatives implemented targeting data collection, farmer and veterinarian engagement, and herd health planning. However, there remain a number of challenges and barriers that need to be addressed in order to assess the impacts of these initiatives, such as the availability of AMU and AMR data. Ensuring the adequacy of resources was found to be critical for the sustainability of effective initiatives, considering competing demands on people's time. Additionally, the importance of other outcomes from these initiatives such as developing and strengthening the farmer-veterinarian relationship should not be underestimated since it is fundamental to successfully addressing issues such as AMR.

Penyuluhan Tentang Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan di SMP N 1 Sungai Tebelian Tahun 2024

Increasing the age of marriage is an effort to increase the age at first marriage, namely the minimum age of 21 years for women and 25 years for men. The aim is to find out the healthy age limit for marriage and the impact of early marriage and unwanted pregnancy. The activity method is counseling on preparation for menarche including surveys, determining implementation schedules and data collection, pre-tests, socializing activities with outreach media, namely videos and leaflets. The activity was held on June 12 2024 at SMPN 1 Sungai Tebelian which was attended by 59 students aged 12-15 years. Post test and evaluation of questionnaire data processing using the Paired Sample Test. The results of data analysis show changes in the increase in knowledge of young women in pre-test and post-test Sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion is that there is a difference in the increase in knowledge before and after counseling on maturation during marriage at SMPN 1 Sungai Tebelian. This outreach activity increases students' knowledge about healthy marriage age limits and the impact of early marriage and unwanted pregnancies.

The goal of this research is to outline the criminal penalties for those who engage in sexual activity with minors in terms of victim protection. The normative approach method is used in this investigation. Secondary data is used. Documents and literature are examined to implement data collection procedures. In the meantime, the analysis is descriptive and employs qualitative analysis. The study's findings indicated that the criminal penalties meted out to those who engage in sexual activity with minors do not fairly compensate for the victims' protection.

Boosting inpatient exercise after hip fracture using an alternative workforce: a mixed methods implementation evaluation

BackgroundHip fracture has a devastating impact on individuals and is an increasing burden for health systems and society. Compared to usual care, increased physiotherapy provision has demonstrated efficacy in improving patient and health service outcomes in this population. However, physiotherapy workforce challenges prevent sustained implementation.MethodsOur aim was to evaluate the safety, feasibility, acceptability, effectiveness and implementation cost of thrice daily physiotherapy for patients in the acute care setting after hip fracture at two public hospitals. We added twice-daily exercise implemented by an alternative workforce, to usual care consisting of daily mobility practice by a physiotherapist. Sites identified their preferred alternative workforce, with pre-registration physiotherapy students and allied health assistants chosen. We used a mixed methods approach, using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) as a determinant framework to guide implementation planning and data collection. We compared hospital length of stay data to a reference cohort.ResultsWe recruited 25 patients during the study period. Acute care hospital length of stay decreased from 11 days in the reference cohort to 8 days in the BOOST cohort (mean difference − 3.3 days, 95%CI -5.4 to -1.2 days, p = 0.003). Intervention fidelity was 72% indicating feasibility, no safety concerns were attributed to the intervention, and uptake was 96% of all eligible patients. The intervention was acceptable to patients, carers and healthcare providers. This intervention was cost-effective from the acute orthopaedic service perspective.ConclusionHigher daily frequency of physiotherapy can be safely, feasibly and effectively implemented by an alternative workforce for patients in the acute care setting following hip fracture surgery.

Reproductive care in community health centers: Multi-method evaluation of the Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN!) demonstration program

ObjectivesNearly one-third of low-income women of reproductive age in the U.S. receive care in federally qualified community health centers, but comprehensive reproductive care is not consistently provided. Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN!) is an initiative addressing the access gap to high-quality contraceptive care with a focus on normalizing reproductive health screening for patients in federally qualified community health centers (FQHCs). Study designThis multi-method program evaluation used the Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, Maintenance (RE-AIM) framework, with retrospective and prospective data collection from three Illinois FQHCs who participated as Quality Hubs, and from a Community Advisory Board. We conducted descriptive analysis of patient surveys using the Person-Centered Contraceptive Counseling (PCCC) measure (n = 142); clinician and staff pre-and post-training surveys (n = 210); and Community Advisory Board surveys (n = 8) collecting quantitative and qualitative feedback. We ran logistic regression on claims data from 15- to 49-year-old patients identified as female at birth (n = 103,756). ResultsReach assessment showed patients receiving contraceptive or preconception care increased from 1063 per month in 2020 to 1236 per month in 2021 (16% increase), while general volume increased 2%. Effectiveness showed most patients (78%) described the quality of contraceptive counseling as “excellent” on the PCCC. Adoption assessment showed knowledge increases after clinical training on Modern Contraception (85% pre-training, 95% post-training) and Reproductive Justice (RJ) (58% pre-training, 70% post-training). Implementation assessment found that most Community Advisory Board members felt ICAN! was responsive to community needs. ConclusionsThe ICAN! demonstration year increased provider knowledge and volume of reproductive care at three Illinois FQHCs. ImplicationsContraceptive access initiatives that operationalize same day access to birth control methods while training FQHC providers on RJ and modern contraception, show promise on several measures. Early evidence from ICAN! indicates increased reproductive health service provision, as well as increases in provider knowledge of RJ and modern contraceptive care.

HEGEMONY OF SOCIAL IRREGULARIT (CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF PRESIDENT JOKO WIDODO'S SPEECH RELATED TO THE PROHIBITION OF HOUSES OF WORSHIP)

This research aims to uncover the social irregularities behind President Joko Widodo's speech on 17/01/2023 entitled "Remarks by President Joko Widodo at the Opening of the National Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads and Forkopimda throughout Indonesia in 2023" related to the prohibition of the establishment of houses of worship. By using the qualitative model of Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis method to uncover social injustice sourced from primary data websites, videos, and literature. Using data collection techniques of free listening and note-taking techniques. The researcher is an instrument of planning, implementing data collection, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting findings. The results of the lexical pragmatic text analysis found social irregularities of rejection and destruction of houses of worship which represent that the applicable constitution can not be implemented, disobeyed, disobeyed, denied, trivialized, and the existence of resistance to the constitution. It was found that there were obstacles to handling social irregularities in the form of consensus (agreement) of community groups in the form of counter-hegemony and the application of regulations in the realization of contradictions between the 1945 Constitution and PBM Number 9 and 8 of 2006. This shows that there are social irregularities that are deliberately perpetuated so that the apparatus and instruments of state power work. So it is necessary to apply intellectual hegemony to apply the constitution, ideology and power. So it concludes that the government to overcome social irregularities must use total hegemony (integral) without violence, using the constitution and the state ideology apparatus, so that power can regulate the order of worship and religion in Indonesia.

Pecoah Kohon: The Restriction on Inter-Cousins Marriage in Indigenous the Rejang Society

This study aims to examine the prohibition of Pecoah Kohon in the indigenous marriage Rejang tribe. Pecoah Kohon is a union between a man and woman related by blood, namely one grandmother. In this study, the problem emphasized a customary prohibition on the union, regardless of its non-prohibition by Islam. This qualitative-field analysis used a normative-sociological approach, with the implemented data collection techniques prioritizing interviews and documentation. A purposive sampling technique was also used to determine the informants. The results showed that the survival of Pecoah Kohon tradition was due to the socialization carried out by traditional officials in a systematic, structured, and hierarchical pattern toward the Rejang community. Sanctions were also considered quite strict against customary violations. Moreover, the good communication and cooperation between traditional officials and the community was a strong foundation for the preservation of Pecoah Kohon tradition and the Islamic religious insights of the Rejang community were increased. From this context, the debate about the tradition had various meeting points and solutions. This indicated that Pecoah Kohon supporters believed the tradition did not include prohibitions and cancellations of marriage, with its performance considered a tribute and cultural preservation. Religious experts also understood that Pecoah Kohonwas solely a custom and not a belief exceeding or equalling religion, indicating needless argumentative efforts.

A Design Method for Controlling the Safe Distance of Convolution Image Recognition Based on FPGA

This is an FPGA-based image recognition system. It is built on the FPGA-SOC platform, which uses less power and operates more quickly. This method can be used to remind people inside to maintain a safe distance to stop the coronavirus from spreading. The system can ensure a high accuracy rate and identification speed. At the same time, the system detects the safe distance and issues pertinent prompts according to the training of the private data set. Finally, the system’s implementation is appropriate for tiny IoT devices with extremely low power consumption. The system is implemented by utilizing a custom CPU on an FPGA. The RISC-V architecture used in the self-developed CPU allows for 32-bit embedded CPU performance and operating effectiveness at the expense of an 8-bit CPU. An HD camera and an infrared camera that work together are put on it. The upgraded Tiny YOLO2 algorithm in the CPU can help the infrared camera process the HD camera’s data and perform recognition and judgments. Finally, it is possible to implement data collection based on 720p resolution, which precisely determines whether the direct distance between individuals is a safe distance and then sends the appropriate reminders. Its power usage is 1.3 W. It can address the issue of preventing epidemics and the security risks brought on by a large population density in public areas.

Analisis Tabuhan Babun pada Iringan Tari Kuda Gipang di Sanggar Asam Rimbun Desa Pantai Hambawang Timur

The purpose of this study was to describe the pattern of the typical Baboon wasp/Banjar dialect to the accompaniment of the Kuda Gipang dance at the Asam Rimbun studio through sound study and notation. Qualitative descriptive research methods are used as a reference in implementing data collection techniques by interviewing, observing and documenting. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed to get the conclusion of the research findings in the form of the Banjar baboon notation. In this study, the Kuda Gipang Igal Anak dance was the sample. This activity lasts for 4-5 months. The results of the study are as follows: The Variety of Movements in the Kuda Gipang Dance at the Asam Rimbun Art Studio, is very much based on the rhythm of wasps of baboons. There are 11 distributions of wasp patterns based on the variety of motions, namely (1) Initial punch, (2) Timangan 1, (3) Timangan 2, (4) Kijik Punch, (5) Lagurih Punch, (6) Kapak Taguk Punch, (7) Punch Jumping Horse, (8) Horse Ax Punch, (9) Hunjal Punch, (10) Dump, (11) Sambah Dump. Baboons have Pambaduk and Rumpiang parts. There are 10 basic sound colors for baboons, 3 of which are produced by Pambaduk, 5 for Rumpiang and 2 for Pambaduk and Rumpiang Combined. Each pattern has 8 beats, using a 4/4 time scale, where there are 4 beats/counts in each bar -his. The. Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a form of motor neuron disease caused by a mutation in the survival motor neuron 1 gene (SMN1), which results in a wide disease spectrum affecting children and adults. There are four subtypes of SMA depending on age of onset and maximum acquired motor function. The recent advances in drug development have highlighted an urgent need to establish stronger clinical networks and data collection to gain a better understanding of the impact of new drugs on the natural history of the disease. In collaboration with SMA Reach UK (paediatric and data collection network) and the UK SMA Patient Registry, the Adult SMA Reach study aims to implement a standardised dataset and use systematic data collection to generate knowledge on the natural history and the evolving phenotype of adult SMA, the impact of new treatments and management. Adult SMA REACH is a longitudinal observational study, planning to collect clinical data and outcome measures about SMA patients age ≥16 years with genetically confirmed 5q SMA, with a sample size of approximately 209 treated patients and 140 non-treated patients. A working group of UK neuromuscular clinicians and physiotherapists has designed a specific data collection form and the data collection will be performed using an online database, specifically for this study. The visit schedule will be at baseline and thereafter 4-6 monthly for Nusinersen-treated patients and a minimum of 12 monthly, for non-treated patients or treated with other SMA treatments. Data monitoring will be carried out to ensure data quality. This study will link with the UK SMA Patient Registry and collect vital Patient Reported Outcome Measures. Data from the first year of data collection will be presented in the conference. This study will help us to collect information about the natural history of the disease, the impact of new treatments, monitor the safety of treatments and the implementation of new functional scales. Co-designed strategies for delivery of positive newborn bloodspot screening results to parents: the ReSPoND mixed-methods study

BackgroundNewborn bloodspot screening identifies presymptomatic babies who are affected by genetic or congenital conditions. Each year, around 10,000 parents of babies born in England are given a positive newborn bloodspot screening result for one of nine conditions that are currently screened for. Despite national guidance, variation exists regarding the approaches used to communicate these results to families; poor communication practices can lead to various negative sequelae.ObjectivesIdentify and quantify approaches that are currently used to deliver positive newborn bloodspot screening results to parents (phase 1). Develop (phase 2), implement and evaluate (phase 3) co-designed interventions for improving the delivery of positive newborn bloodspot screening results. Quantify the resources required to deliver the co-designed interventions in selected case-study sites and compare these with costs associated with current practice (phase 3).DesignThis was a mixed-methods study using four phases, with defined outputs underpinned by Family Systems Theory.SettingAll newborn bloodspot screening laboratories in England (n = 13).ParticipantsLaboratory staff and clinicians involved in processing or communicating positive newborn bloodspot screening results, and parents of infants who had received a positive or negative newborn bloodspot screening result.InterventionsThree co-designed interventions that were developed during phase 2 and implemented during phase 3 of the study.Main outcome measureAcceptability of the co-designed interventions for the communication of positive newborn bloodspot screening results.ResultsStaff were acutely aware of the significance of a positive newborn bloodspot screening result and the impact that this could have on families. Challenges existed when communicating results from laboratories to relevant clinicians, particularly in the case of congenital hypothyroidism. Clinicians who were involved in the communication of positive newborn bloodspot screening results were committed to making sure that the message, although distressing for parents, was communicated well. Despite this, variation in communication practices existed. This was influenced by many factors, including the available resources and lack of clear guidance. Although generally well received, implementation of the co-designed interventions in practice served to illuminate barriers to acceptability and feasibility. The interventions would not influence NHS expenditure and could be cost neutral when delivered by teleconsultations.LimitationsParticipants with a pre-existing interest in this topic may have been more likely to self-select into the study. The researchers are experienced in this field, which may have biased data collection and analysis. COVID-19 hindered implementation and related data collection of the co-designed interventions.ConclusionsThere was variation in the processes used to report positive newborn bloodspot screening results from newborn bloodspot screening laboratories to clinical teams and then to families. The various practices identified may reflect local needs, but more often reflected local resource. A more consistent ‘best practice’ approach is required, not just in the UK but perhaps globally. An Approach to Data Processing for the Smart District Heating System

The article deals with the district heating systems transition to intelligent systems by developing a united information system and obtaining a high level of controllability of the entire system. During the implementation of automated control systems of district heating, a number of information tasks of the lower level are being introduced, including the data collection for thermal and hydraulic modes of operation for monitoring, operational management and analysis of the effectiveness. One of the problems of intelligent systems is data collection and its further storage and processing. Methods for data collection for real energy facilities are considered and the usage of multi-level system with the allocation of the upper level in the cloud storage has been proposed. In addition to the currently implemented data collection scheme in automated control systems, a generalized method of data acquisition with the introduction of duplicate streams has been proposed to ensure their integrity. The paper presents the approaches to identifying the collected data, ensuring the stability of the collection process, reliability of data storage and their integrity. Role-based security model with a dedicated single certification authority helps to protect data. Approaches to further processing of the collected data are shown, differing in the way of parallel data processing. The next stage of development is global monitoring systems that will be aimed to prompt response at all levels. The accumulated data will allow bringing the operating systems to a new level through the use of tools such as forecasting and simulation modeling, which will allow creating digital twins of heat supply systems. The proposed data collection system will perform forecasting and modeling at a higher level, and, as a result, help in the formation of more balanced management decisions.

THE INFLUENCE OF FAMILY HARMONY AND EMOTIONAL REGULATION ABILITY ON JUVENILE DELINQUENCY

This aims to discover the influence of family harmony and emotional regulation ability on the juvenile delinquency of public senior high school students in the region of Ekskotip Cilacap (former sub-districts-level region of Cilacap). The implemented types of study are ex post facto with correlational design. The population of the study is public senior high school students in the region of Ekskotip Cilacap with 320 students as the sample chosen by implementing the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The implemented data collection instruments are the juvenile delinquency scale, family harmony scale, and emotional regulation ability scale. The results of the study show that: (1) there is an influence between family harmony on juvenile delinquency (R = 0.476; p < 0.05; t(-9.657) < -1.967); (2) there is an influence between emotional regulation ability on juvenile delinquency (R=0.369; t(-7.074) < -1.967; p < 0.005); (3) there is an influence between family harmony and emotional regulation ability on juvenile delinquency (R = 0.513; p < 0.005; F(56.704) > 3.024). The significant influence of family harmony and emotional regulation ability on juvenile delinquency is shown by the effective contribution of 26.3%. This study suggests that as a mean to prevent juvenile delinquency, it can be done by providing informational service on the effects of juvenile delinquency and service on content mastery about methods of emotional regulation as well as how the children participation in maintaining the family harmony.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0968/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Abstract Aims Service provision and assessing the impact of future innovations can best be assessed by accurate data collection. Methods We have devised a simple dataset and implemented prospective data collection detailing patient referral source and outcome (consecutive days from 19.08.20 to 06.01.21) of Acute Surgical admissions. Results 2706 patient episodes. Conclusions These baseline figures demonstrate referral source and outcomes. Traditional Emergency Department referrals via the Surgical Registrar result in a noticeable difference in admission rates compared with novel pathways such as ASU Direct which allows admission from ED without discussion. These data are essential to facilitate proper evaluation of service delivery, the impact of novel pathways and would allow units to compare / combine results.

The aim of the study is to implement data collection through creation and validation of the app ABOUTCOME, to allow data storage and facilitate patients to fulfil questionnaires.

Principles for data management, visualization, and communication to improve disaster response management: Lessons from the Hurricane Maria response mission.

Data visualization and communication are important components in disaster response management. Data management should be a basic part of emergency preparation in the same way as prepositioning essential supplies. For this preparation to be effective, well-conceived data structures and data collection systems must be in place before disasters happen, and required hardware should be designed to operate in contingency environments. However, due to challenges in disaster complexities and data management, there is still a pressing need for improvement. This paper identifies key principles to assist practitioners and software developers in designing and implementing data collection and reporting systems that can be used for data visualization during a disaster response. The authors reviewed existing literature on data and disaster management and incorporated their personal experiences as first responders with the US Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane Maria response mission to develop principles for improving data management and visualization during a disaster response. These principles are illustrated by two case studies from the Task Force Power and Operation Blue Roof mission efforts in Puerto Rico during 2017-2018. Suggested principles include considering data management as part of disaster preparedness, having flexible data tools resilient to unprecedented disaster outcomes, eg, interruption of telecommunications networks, and using diverse graphics and tools that are appropriate to their communication purpose and audience.

A Novel Joint Optimization Method Based on Mobile Data Collection for Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Networks

In wireless sensor networks, energy efficiency is a very critical issue as it impacts the network's lifetime and performance. Mobile data collection and wireless charging are two promising emerging techniques for enhancing energy efficiency. To achieve high charging rates and implement data collection with less energy consumption of sensors, we design a joint data collection and energy charging scheme by taking the strengths of these two techniques. The mobile charger is able to implement the energy charging and data collection simultaneously when it is equipped with the appropriate communication and charging hardware. We provide a two-step method for this joint problem. First, the topology is constructed by a novel clustering algorithm that aims to balance the number of clusters and the energy consumption of inter-cluster communication. Second, two modes of scheduling schemes are developed for facing the scenarios with different delay requirements (i.e., delay-tolerant scenario and delay-aware scenario) with heuristic algorithms. Compared with existing state-of-the-art methods, the simulation results present that our proposed scheduling schemes achieve the outperformance on packet delay and charging efficiency.
