СИСТЕМАТИЗАЦІЯ КРИТЕРІЇВ ІДЕНТИФІКАЦІЇ ТА ПАРАМЕТРІВ ПОЗИЦІОНУВАННЯ ТЕРИТОРІАЛЬНИХ ГРОМАД: ІННОВАЦІЙНИЙ АСПЕКТ

The article deepens theoretical and methodical provisions on the attractive image formation for the territorial communities in terms of systematization of their identification criteria and positioning parameters, strengthened in this context local innovative aspect of the implementation of sustainable development concept. The theoretical and methodical provisions regarding the marketing tools of economic entities at the local level have been analysed, which made it possible to research the territorial community as a complex and innovatively active system characterized by emergence and synergistic metasystem connections between its elements that require ordering. This ordering became possible due to the methodological research platform, which based on the positions of the systemic and integrated approach, D. Forrester counterintuitive method of system dynamics, A. Marshall partial equilibrium approach and the principle of stable disequilibrium. The authors proved that the process of determining and ordering identification criteria and positioning parameters depends on the existing institutional frames for the functioning and development of territorial communities, which have a narrowing effect on the search opportunities and alternatives in choice. The discreteness of the coverage of the unique characteristics, which made it possible to distinguish the community among many others based on the established scientific hypothesis, justified the choice of 15 identification criteria and 13 positioning parameters that form the idea of a territorial unit. The provisions of the article systematized of certain criteria and parameters by constructing appropriate classification schemes based on a descending hierarchical chain of classification taxa “class – type – criterion / parameter – result (value) of criterion / parameter”. This made it possible to distinguish between the classes of identification criteria into key and auxiliary ones, and the classes of positioning parameters into single (quantitative) and complex (qualitative) ones. The article proves importance of the implementation of identification criteria and positioning parameters in the practice of the territorial communities strategizing to improve their innovative activity and determine key development positions in a strategic perspective.

The Convertibility Forecast Model of Space Structure in Architecture Programming——Collective Housing in Taiwan for example

House refurbishment related to the convertibility of space organizations is nowadays a common phenomenon in Taiwan, reflecting user demands for the diversity of unit plane and space expansion in quantity, and forming an important research topic over the implementation of sustainable development concept in living environment. In this paper, apartment mansion-type amalgamated dwellings were quantitatively analyzed and investigated, and four models, which were dimension combinations of influence factors, were compared through the field survey and logistic regression model (binary regression method). The results showed that the variables in Model IV consisted of three dimensions—space organization, building entity and spatial planning, with the optimal prediction rate (74.5%), so it was regarded as a convertibility prediction model of space organization; the significance and goodness of fit of each model were analyzed by comparing each variable coefficient with the expected symbol, and next, the concrete meaning of each influence factor belonging to each dimension of each model was indicated by means of coefficient correction, which could further predict the convertibility of space organizations, accurately obtain the factors influencing the convertibility prediction, and improve the prediction accuracy. This research, which conforms to the concept of sustainable environmental development, will contribute to construction project planning and design of residential buildings.

Contradictions and barriers to sustainable development of territories

The aim of the study is to identify contradictions and obstacles to the transition to sustainable development in the territories. The methodological framework is analysis and synthesis, the concept of sustainable development, institutional analysis approaches, limited rationality and opportunism in behaviour, ideas about stakeholders, and systematic and scenario-based approaches. The Sustainable Development Goals reflect interests of the world’s population. However, the search for consensus on a strategy to achieve them is hampered by existing and emerging contradictions. The paper describes the practice of formulating a compromise on the environmental situation in the territory. The analysis of factors is presented in the context of theoretical constraints, interests of various territories and social groups. Gaps and various contradictions have been identified in the implementation of sustainable development concept in the territories. The contradictions between components of sustainable development; the essence of sustainable development tools; the competitiveness of the territory’s products and an effective system of internalization of externalities; various stakeholders are considered. The territories’ transition to sustainable development requires the removal of considered and potential contradictions. Possible directions for this are presented.

The sustainable development of gas transmission companies of Ukraine through the formation of an effective energy saving mechanism

The annotated article deals with the features of formation and functioning of the energy saving mechanism for business under the implementation of sustainable development concept. Herewith, the energy saving mechanism has been considered as an organic component of the mechanism of business management enabling to integrate energy saving problems with effective current business management problems. The main focus of this study is to develop the algorithms and the evaluation methodology for energy efficiency of the enterprise. In particular, the article suggests evaluating the effectiveness through the following stages: the assessment of energy saving potential use of the enterprise; the development of a system with operating performance indicators of the energy saving mechanism; the determination of the integrating indicator of the energy saving mechanism. The article approves the suggested methodology by means of highly specialized gas transmission companies and discovers the level of use of such components of energy saving potential of the enterprise, as technics and technology, finances, management, personnel. An assessment of the average annual energy saving potential was performed and the forecast of the integrating indicator of the energy efficiency mechanism of the gas transmission companies was carried out The suggested methodological approach has been proven to be useful in the system of energy saving at the enterprise.

Implementation of Sustainable Development Concept in Hotel A Surabaya

Hospitality is one of the important sectors in the growth of the Indonesian Economy, which it continues to increase each year. But on the other hand it also has a negative impact. The higher use of the hotel, the higher the resource and energy expended to serve the guests of the hotel. This study aims to determine the implementation of sustainable development concept of Hotel A in Surabaya. This hotel is under auspices of the Accor Group, one of international hotel management groups, which already implemented the concept of sustainable development. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher using qualitative analysis techniques to process the primary and secondary data obtained, to find the answer on how far the application of sustainable development at the Hotel A. The research results show that Hotel A has conducted various measures to support sustainable development in several aspects. But they just apply 3 of 7 pillars of ecology as envisioned by the Accor Group. This study shows the aspects of eco-friendly management that can be carried out by a hotel.<p> </p>

Methodological basis of forecasting of sustainable development of economic system

Since the adoption of the Rio-Declaration in 1992 the concept of sustainable development is raising more and more awareness in public perception. The concept requires the integration of economic, environment and social considerations into all decision-making, fostering intra-generational equity through the alleviation of poverty by concentrating the benefits of development in lesser developed areas and considering the needs of future generations to ensure that inter-generated equity exists. The implementation of sustainable development concept requires certain means. One major instrument is forecasting of development by using sustainable development indicators. In this article the problems of methodological basis of forecasting of sustainable development of economic system are considered. The authors investigate these problems on an example of Republic of Kazakhstan.
