Innovative projects involve a large amount of resources and time required to implement and achieve the required product parameters. Well-known methods of economic evaluation of the effectiveness of projects can provide an accurate analysis for the first few years, without taking into account all possible factors. Due to the importance of setting the effectiveness assessment as accurately as possible for the implementation of innovative projects, regardless of the duration, the methods currently used are insufficiently developed. The amount of resources required to create an innovative project can reach such levels of indicators, which will significantly affect the financial and economic performance of the enterprise. The proposed new method in the article, based on the calculation of the socio-physical potential of the project, takes into account both economic and non-economic factors, regardless of the duration of the project. Unlike other methods, it takes into account the parameters of the product being created, which allows you to get more correct estimates and ensure the correct allocation of resources during implementation. The method of using socio-physical potential allows us to find a new and more accurate approach to evaluating the effectiveness of innovative projects. The purpose of the study. The paper considers the issue of comparing the evaluation of the effectiveness of calculations using socio-physical potentials and existing approaches. It is stated that the effectiveness assessment should take into account diverse factors of a qualitative and quantitative nature. Based on the analysis of existing approaches, it is concluded that the reliability of the assessment is low. The inability to evaluate correctly leads to excessive costs that accompany the processes of product development and operation. Materials and methods. An efficiency assessment model based on the calculation of the socio-physical potential is presented. A model of the socio-physical potential is presented. The method of determining efficiency is described, the application of which is described in a comparative example of the analysis of the choice of the machine. Results. With the complexity of the implementation of innovative projects, the transition to assessment using socio-physical potential ensures a more efficient allocation of resources for project development. A method of using socio-physical potential for calculating the effectiveness of innovative projects was proposed and justified. Conclusion. In conclusion, it is concluded that in order to increase efficiency, it is necessary to carry out an assessment using the method of calculating socio-physical potentials, since the results are more accurate in comparison with known methods.

The article examines the main indicators that allow assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of innovative projects in the activities of financial companies. The purpose of the article is to clarify the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of innovative projects in the financial sector. Methods of analysis, synthesis, tabular and graphical methods of presenting information, etc. were used. The author clarifies the methodology for assessing the level of efficiency of implementing innovative projects in the work of modern financial organizations. The assessment methodology was tested on the example of one of the financial companies of the Russian Federation.

The experience of the leaders of various industries and sectors of the economy shows the importance of innovative component of the enterprises. Russian and foreign scientists define innovation as a special tool, a new look, a set of measures, the final result of new technologies introduction into various production and commercial processes. Through the development and implementation of innovative projects of the organization, enterprises change and optimize both technologies, goods, business processes, and management system, organizational structure, and etc. The work on innovative projects should integrate the efforts of specialists, employees of the enterprise and departments to achieve the goals of efficiency increase. Application of various approaches to the development and implementation of innovative projects is based on assessment and understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each of them, possibility and prospects of its application in practical activities of a particular enterprise. Innovative design includes perception of the project as a set of elements. It is regulated by various normative documents, in particular GOST defines the composition and structure of project documents. The article describes various approaches to innovative projects classification, such as: according to the importance of the impact on the economy, according to the area of efforts application, according to the level of scientific and technical significance of the results, and etc. The main problem areas and issues of innovative design are identified. Applied issues of the development and implementation of innovative project are considered on the example of trading enterprise. Promising directions of innovative development were identified, various technologies and approaches were analyzed, and main directions, goals, objectives, and main results of innovative project to optimize logistics activities were formulated.

Features of the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in the Regional Integration Systems of the EAEU Countries

Aim. To study the features of strategic planning and practical implementation of the concept of sustainable development of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals in the context of the formation of a new architecture of the world structure and a change in the current world order.Tasks. Consider the essence and principles of the SDG implementation; identify the specifics of the integration of the SDGs into the national strategies of individual states of the post-Soviet space; analyze the features of the localization of SDGs at the regional level using the example of Eurasian integration; determine the role of the EAEU in the context of the formation of a multipolar world system and strengthening the its position as a macro-regional center of the power; justify the priorities for achieving the SDGs in the context of sustainable development of the EAEU.Methods. To achieve the set goals the following methodological approaches were used in the article. The constructivist approach makes it possible to determine the essence of sustainable development, its significance for society and the economy, as well as to analyze the regulatory and legal framework of the EAEU countries in this area. Comparative analysis made it possible to determine the relationship of SDGs with changed world architectures in retrospect and the current conditions. Empirical analysis makes it possible to assess the practical steps and efforts of the EAEU countries to achieve the SDGs, including the implementation of innovative projects and the rational use of the resource base.Results. Understanding and regulation of sustainable development in the EAEU is justified. The study made it possible to establish that the countries of the Union attach importance to sustainable development, but at the legislative level there remains a problem of insufficient consistency of regulatory legal acts on this topic. This highlights the need for a clearer and more concrete regulatory framework for sustainable development. The study allowed to analyze the impact of globalization on the world and regional structure. It is argued, that the EAEU, as a regional association, has a unique opportunity to gain a foothold as one of the macro-regions in the multipolar world system. This provides strategic advantages in the context of a change in the world order on the way to multipolarity.Conclusions. The study identified a number of priority tasks contributing to the achievement of the SDGs in the context of the sustainable development of the EAEU. The most important factors in this context are: food independence, energy sustainability, strengthening economic integration, infrastructure development, focus on hard innovation and digitalization.

Construction of an innovative entrepreneurship project learning platform introducing a group recommendation algorithm for college students

This work aims to construct an innovative entrepreneurship project learning platform based on a group recommendation algorithm, which assists college students in better identifying and utilizing appropriate team resources during the entrepreneurial process. In order to achieve this goal, the genetic algorithm and probability models are introduced in the research process to improve the accuracy and personalization of group recommendations. First, the genetic algorithm is designed based on the initial population of individuals consisting of college students' diverse innovative entrepreneurship project information and personal characteristics. Individuals are iteratively optimized to find the optimal team combinations through crossover, mutation, and selection. Simultaneously, a probability model is employed to establish the group recommendation algorithm, and a large number of data samples and features are utilized for model training and prediction. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed Genetic Algorithm-Probability Model-Group Recommendation (GAPMGR) is validated through experiments and comparative analysis. The research findings indicate that the GAPMGR method proposed has significantly improved team combination recommendations for college students' innovative entrepreneurship project learning platforms. Compared to traditional methods, the GAPMGR algorithm's group recommendation performance has improved by 4.92%, enabling more accurate matching of suitable team resources. By introducing the genetic algorithm and probability models, the innovative entrepreneurship project learning platform based on group recommendation can effectively enhance students' entrepreneurial abilities and team collaboration effects. This platform can provide personalized team resource recommendations for students, promote interdisciplinary cooperation, and facilitate the successful implementation of innovative entrepreneurship projects. In the fields of education and entrepreneurship, this work provides a valuable entrepreneurial learning tool for college students and serves as a reference for educational institutions and entrepreneurship mentors. In the field of technology, this work explores the application of the genetic algorithm and probability models in group recommendation, offering new ideas and methods for further research and application.

A system for achieving the strategic goals of the project of chartering the fleet of shipping companies in the post-war period

The beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukraine caused significant human, economic and political losses, as well as destruction of the shipping system of water transport. Nevertheless, in the future (in the post -war period) all losses received must be restored according to projects and programs in the post-war period. This paper examines the current scientific and applied problem of developing approaches to managing the success of fleet chartering projects based on proacti ve research of shipping companies. The authors have identified the main factors affecting fleet chartering processes: trends in the charter market; the volume of transport work in already developed markets, opportunities to enter new markets, the level of prices for ships, the state of the turbulent environment. The main strategic goals that determine the need to replenish the shipping company's fleet have been established. The main types of fleet replenishment projects corresponding to the following options for fleet replenishment have been identified: shipbuilding, ship acquisition, leasing (bareboat charter), short - and medium-term lease of ships (time charter). Classification of the main types of fleet replenishment projects, regarding their classification features, definition of products, specifics of life cycles, value and composition of stakeholders, which fully characterizes fleet replenishment as an object of project management. As a result of the time charter lease, the company is limited in its rights to the vessel and can only carry out commercial activities, and this type of lease allows solving short- and medium-term tasks related to market activity and the need to replenish the fleet. The concept and model of the proactive formation of fleet chartering project parameters in specific market conditions, taking into account their further development, which ensures the establishment of project product characteristics and the life cycle, taking into account the integral influence of the dynamics of the market conditions related to the project. For each selected type of fleet chartering project, the main classification features, specifics of life cycles, value and composition of participants are established. Thus, the formation of management models for the implementation of innovative projects, programs, in particular in Ukraine in its post-war conditions, in the paradigm of uncertainty of crises in the post-war period, remains relevant.

Risk management as a basis for assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of international innovation projects

The Application of Green Seismic Survey Technology in Forested Areas and Its Ecological and Economic Effectiveness: Methodology and Practice of Application

The issues surrounding the employment of technology targeted at enhancing environmental safety to increase the productivity of the reproduction process of the natural gas and oil resource base are equally important. The paper discusses the use of green seismic survey technology to determine the oil and gas potential of the subsoil. A methodological toolkit is proposed for carrying out technical and economic calculations to determine indicators of the environmental and economic efficiency of using innovative resource-saving technology for geological surveys in areas densely planted with forests. The purpose of the work is to establish the viability of employing resource-saving technology known as green seismic technology to search for promising hydrocarbon resources in forested areas and determine the expected environmental and economic benefits of geological exploration using the suggested enhanced methodology for their evaluation. The tasks set to achieve the goal were solved using methods of geological and economic assessment of the hydrocarbon raw material potential of territories and water areas; environmental assessments of the negative influence of anthropogenic environmental impacts on the natural environment; and economic and statistical methods of performing technical and economic calculations to determine performance indicators for the implementation of innovative projects in the field of geological exploration. The novelty of the results obtained lies in the proposed improved algorithm for conducting an environmental and economic assessment of geological exploration for hydrocarbon raw materials; a conceptual description of the green seismic technology; systematization of technical, economic, and environmental risks; and justification of new regional directions for geological exploration using resource-saving seismic exploration technology.

The Implementation of Innovative Technology-Based Project Based Learning Models in Enchancing Student Creativity

Abstract. This research aims to understand the implementation of the innovative technology-based project-based learning model in improving students' creativity and to determine the influence of the innovative technology-based project-based learning model on enhancing student creativity. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey research design. The population size is 40 individuals, and a sample of 20 individuals was selected through random sampling. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Assumptions were tested for normality and linearity. Data analysis involved a simple linear regression test. The results of this research indicate that (1) The description of the implementation of the innovative technology-based project-based learning model falls into the "excellent" category for 3 students, or 15%, and the "good" category for 17 students, or 85%, (2) There is a positive influence of the Innovative Technology-Based Project-Based Learning Model on Enhancing Student Creativity.Keywords: Project Based Learning, Innovative Technology, Creativity

Project activity as the communication systems innovative functioning: The Ukrainian libraries experience

The purpose of the article is to highlight the leading Ukrainian libraries project activities as a factor of their innovative functioning. The research methodology is based on the application of systemic-structural and activity approaches, which led to the complex use of generally-logical and theoretical methods used in humanitarian research. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in clarifying the role and significance of libraries project activities, summarising the most relevant projects implemented by leading libraries of Ukraine, as well as in highlighting the characteristic consequences of innovative library projects implementation and their classification depending on the target nature. Conclusions. It has been established that the characteristic features of the projects are their clear purpose, uniqueness, as well as: social and cultural significance and social effect; for users – new services and new opportunities; for libraries and library specialists – implementation of innovations, professional development, modernisation of production processes, etc. It has been emphasised that thanks to the implementation of innovative projects there were: a) significant transformation of library technologies and functional areas of library activity; b) fully justified attraction to corporatism in the information and search systems creation and information resources consolidation; c) innovative transformations in the library-information service system for users; d) arrangement of innovative library space. The whole set of library projects is grouped according to the purpose: social and communication projects, technological and functional projects. It has been concluded that the project activity of libraries expands and at the same time enriches the libraries’ functional capabilities and their information and resource base, promotes new services mastering and their development, and also establishes libraries as an important social and cultural institution and space for communication

Fuzzy rule-based classification of complex biogas energy projects

The work is devoted to the problems analyzing the effectiveness of projects in the field of biogas energy. The purpose of the work is to build an intellectual toolkit for classifying innovative bioenergy projects. To form a variety of classification characteristics, it is proposed to use the Ishikawa cause-and-effect diagram, which makes it possible to systematize the factors influencing the features of the project. The specifics of biogas technologies, associated with the possibility of generating not only electrical but thermal energy, as well as waste disposal and the production of organic fertilizers, are taken into account by introducing an additional group of factors reflecting the need for these types of products. Expert technologies for assessing factors led to the use of the methodology of fuzzy analysis. The constructed classification procedure is based on a system of fuzzy production rules that reflect the cause-and-effect relationships of the subject area.The developed tools make it possible to reduce the labor intensity of comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of innovative bioenergy projects by identifying the class of compared projects.

ACCOUNTING AND INFORMATIONAL SUPPORT FOR FINANCING AND MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES

Introduction. The development, financing, and implementation of innovative projects require the organization of effective innovation management, with the primary source of information being the accounting of innovative activities. The purpose of the article is to optimize theoretical principles and enhance the methodology of preparing and using accounting information for managing innovative activities, as well as financing innovative projects. Results. The interconnection of operational, investment, and financial activities of enterprises within the innovation environment has been substantiated, encompassing the creation, implementation, and realization of innovations. The positioning of accounting information about the operational, investment, and financial activities of enterprises in the management and financing of innovative processes has been investigated. In order to ascertain the substantive content of accounting information about the innovative activities of enterprises, a classification of its objects from the perspective of management, accounting, and financing has been carried out. For the effective accounting of diverse and variable innovative objects, the utilization of universal principles for the preparation and application of accounting information has been proposed. It has been demonstrated that adhering to fundamental provisions ensures an efficient integrated interaction between accounting, management, and financing of enterprises' innovative activities. The distinctive features of forming and using accounting information within an integrated system of accounting and management of innovative processes have been identified. Conclusions. The effective preparation and utilization of accounting information, utilizing the provided suggestions and recommendations, in the management and financing of innovative activities ensures the realization of its goals and the attainment of positive financial outcomes. Further research is needed for the methodology of accounting for variable innovative objects with the preparation of reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

ОРГАНИЗАЦИОННО-ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКИЙ МЕХАНИЗМ РАЗВИТИЯ ИННОВАЦИОННЫХ НАПРАВЛЕНИЙ СФЕРЫ УСЛУГ

The article considers theoretical approaches to the formation of organizational and eco-nomic mechanism of development of innovative areas of the service sector, which allows designing long-term strategies aimed at improving the efficiency of innovative projects of enterprises of this sphere. The concept of organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative direc-tions of the sphere of services, its main characteristics and requirements, according to which it should ensure the effectiveness of innovative development of the sphere of services, is considered. It is offered to understand a totality of organizational and economic levers of managerial influence di-rected on formation, use and improvement of organizational, industrial, technical-technological, fi-nancial, economic, personnel, ecological and safety resources for maximization of profit of the en-terprise, and also strengthening of competitive advantages in the market and cost of business under the organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative directions of the sphere of services. The dynamics of indicators of innovation activity of enterprises of the service sector in Russia is investigated. Generalized indicators of innovative development of enterprises of the Russian service sector are systematized, according to the results of which it is concluded that enterprises are mainly engaged in modernization and optimization of processes to reduce production costs. The or-ganizational and economic mechanism is presented, the mutual coordination of the process stages and the influence of its components allow formalizing and managing the development and imple-mentation of innovations. The construction of organizational and economic mechanism of manage-ment of innovative development of enterprises in the service sector creates the necessary prerequi-sites for improving the efficiency of innovative projects and ensuring the sustainability of competi-tiveness in the conditions of growing competition and increasing the level of globalization of the world market of services. The described organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative directions of the service sector allows designing long-term strategies aimed at improving the efficiency of innovative projects implementation.

EVOLUTION AND INNOVATION IN ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT IN THE DIGITAL ERA

Rapidly changing conditions of business functioning, caused by global changes in geopolitics, economy, acceleration of the pace of development of digital technologies, require greater adaptability, flexibility and speed of response from the organization's management. In this connection, the concept of management 4.0 is formed and developed, which combines advanced strategies, innovative approaches and the use of modern information and communication technologies. The research is aimed at revealing the essence of this concept in the form of an analysis of the evolution of management systems and modern challenges, as well as at the development of effective strategies and tools for successful modern management, which ensures the competitiveness and stability of the enterprise on the market. In the course of the study, types of organization management were identified, including scientific, administrative, strategic, innovative management, and quality management. The article substantiates the need for improving approaches to administration in the organization, introducing innovations and advanced digital technologies into the enterprise's activities. The concept was formed and the key components of management 4.0 were determined, taking into account the modern realities and needs of Ukrainian business. Challenges faced by domestic companies are highlighted; strategies, approaches and practical recommendations for overcoming them are presented. It is proven that the application of the process approach in management contributes to the realization of internal reserves of growth and development of the enterprise, simplification of the organizational structure of subordination. And if earlier its implementation was associated with radical changes in the company, now evolutionary methods of its implementation are being actively developed. The process approach to management is aimed at reducing the company's costs, which has a positive effect on the company's profit, and therefore on financial opportunities for the implementation of innovative projects.

IMPROVING THE APPROACH TO ASSESSING THE ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY OF REGIONAL ENTERPRISES

The results of the analysis of existing approaches to the selection of indicators and criteria for assessing the economic sustainability of regional enterprises show that a large number of different indicator systems are used. However, none of the approaches takes into account the innovation component, despite the growing role of the scientific and technical factor in the activities of regional enterprises. It is proved that the innovative attractiveness of enterprises is an important component of investment attractiveness, since investors associate the prospects of investment with innovations and invest in economically sustainable enterprises. Accordingly, the paper considers the innovation attractiveness of regional enterprises from the perspective of ensuring economic sustainability and defines it, unlike existing approaches, as the ability of an economic entity to ensure and maintain a high level of innovation activity over time. This approach involves the development of an innovation strategy and the implementation of innovative projects, contributes to building up the innovation potential, ensures and maintains high efficiency of innovation activities. To analyze the innovation attractiveness of enterprises, the economic sustainability of activities is structured by the following components – financial, social, production and technical, marketing, innovation, and indicators for their evaluation are proposed. It is proved that the number of indicators required to assess the innovation potential that can ensure the economic sustainability of enterprise activity should be limited by their practical applicability, the cost of development and obtaining information. The allocation of the innovation component ensures not only the fulfillment of complex production tasks in a changing environment of functioning of regional enterprises, but also contributes to the overcoming of the economic crisis with minimal consequences for them, since innovative solutions contribute to the optimization of production and use of resources, provide flexibility in terms of the realities of doing business. The proposed set of quantitative indicators, calculated on the basis of financial and statistical reporting data, allows to determine the economic sustainability of regional enterprises, taking into account their innovative attractiveness.

Management models of innovative projects and program products in the field of water transport and environmental protection activities in the post-war period

The beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine caused significant human, economic and political losses, as well as destruction of infrastructure. Nevertheless, in the future (during the post-war economic recovery) all the resulting losses must be compensated and restored. Thus, the formation of management models for the implementation of innovative projects, in particular programs for the recovery and development of Ukraine in its post-war conditions, remains relevant. The goal of the work was to build a model that would allow in the future to ensure the highest efficiency of management during the implementation of innovative projects in the post-war period, to describe the possibilities of its use in practice. The main methods used during the research were analysis, modeling and abstraction. Thus, within the framework of the study, a conceptual model of management for the implementation of innovative projects and programs in the post-war period was built. An analysis of the modern theoretical base of management of innovative projects was also performed, and the problem of substantiation of product parameters of innovative strategic development programs and projects was singled out. Network models were described, their features and possibilities of use to provide a clearer picture of the works of the environmental project, more effective management of resources in it. The work emphasizes that infrastructure projects are often divided into two phases: creation and operation; in addition, the importance of environmental protection infrastructure projects for efficient transportation of goods and passengers and their impact on the economy, ecology, and competitiveness of the transport system are described. This study allows for a more detailed understanding of the features of managing the phases of the implementation of infrastructure projects, especially in the conditions of the post-war period, and also brings new knowledge to management in terms of building large-scale investment programs. Obtaining maximum benefits from participation in innovative projects of freight transportation by water transport, taking into account the component of international mechanisms of balanced post-war development of Ukraine, which provides for high productivity, fair distribution of opportunities and results of profits from activities in logistics centers, hubs, ports in the paradigm of uncertainty of crises and post-war economic infrastructure restoration.

Implementation of innovative technologies in Kazakhstan: A case of the energy sector

The implementation of innovative renewable energy projects is designed to meet the growing electricity demand and reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. In order to avoid resource dependence of the economy and meet the demand for electricity in remote areas of Kazakhstan, the development of renewable energy sources is urgent. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of existing mechanisms for the implementation of innovative renewable energy projects through auctions. Moreover, it identifies their shortcomings and offers proposals for improvement. The analysis uses data from the Kazakhstan Bureau of National Statistics on renewable energy sources, namely alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power plants, excluding biogas. The methodology provides for the assessment of projects implemented through auctions for 2018–2021, taking into account such indicators as the dynamics of the number of wind and solar energy projects, their capacity, the percentage of auction price reduction for a specific year. The paper discusses the mechanism for conducting auctions of solar and wind electricity, which, through the auction organizer, connects authorized bodies and investors. The main indicators of auctions for individual years are noted, and the main shortcomings of this mechanism are identified. The analysis of barriers to innovative renewable energy project implementation revealed the presence of contradictions in the price regulation of renewable electricity, the lack of market pricing mechanisms, and the unpreparedness of the energy infrastructure for integration with renewable sources. Efficiency of the Implementation of Innovation and Investment Projects at Healthcare Institutions: Integral Analysis and Ways of Enhancement

Introduction. Improving the quality of medical services and raising the effectiveness of the operation of the subjects of the medical system of Ukraine requires intensifying innovation, which needs significant investments. So, the application of qualitative methods for analyzing the efficiency of such projects is of great importance.Problem Statement. Scholarly research and methodological framework and practical recommendations deal with the identification of problem areas and aspects of the implementation of innovation and investment projects at healthcare institutions in Ukraine.Purpose. The purpose is to comprehensively analyze and to identify the problematic aspects of the implementation of innovation and investment projects by healthcare institutions and to determine the measures to address them as well as to increase the effectiveness of the innovation. Material and Methods. In the course of the study, the method of economic and mathematical modeling has been used to perform a composite analysis (using the weighted average method) of the effectiveness of the implementation of innovation and investment projects by the example of healthcare institutions.Results. It has been established that the efficiency of the implementation of innovation and investment projects at healthcare institutions of Ukraine is satisfactory, but such components as the financial and economic sustainability of the project and the quality of intellectual and personnel support, especially the structure of investments and their profitability, staff turnover and the level of professional qualification of medical personnel remain problematic. ‘Beyond places of safety’ – a qualitative study exploring the implementation of mental health crisis care innovations across England

BackgroundMental health acute and crisis care consumes a large share of mental health budgets internationally but is often experienced as unsatisfactory and difficult to access. As a result, there is an increasing move towards developing innovative community crisis services, to improve patient experience and relieve pressure on inpatient and emergency services. This study aims to understand what helps and hinders the implementation of innovative mental health crisis care projects in England.MethodsUsing a qualitative approach, 18 interviews were conducted with crisis care service managers exploring their experiences and views of the development and implementation of their service developed with support from an English national capital funding programme. A framework analysis was conducted informed by implementation science.ResultsKey facilitators to implementation of innovative crisis services included bottom-up development, service user involvement, strong collaborative working, and leadership and management buy-in. Key barriers that affected the projects implementation included the complexities of crisis care, workforce challenges and resourcing issues.ConclusionThere is a recognised need to improve, update, and innovate current crisis care offers. Results from this study suggest that a range of models can help address the heterogenous needs of local populations and that new approaches can be implemented where they utilise a whole-systems approach, involving service users and relevant professional stakeholders beyond mental health services in planning and developing the service.

A MODEL ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP, TRANSACTIONAL LEADERSHIP, ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP, AND THE INNOVATION PROCESS

To enhance competitiveness, organisations should excel in adopting new business processes and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative projects. This study examined the impact of transformational, transactional, and entrepreneurial leadership styles on the innovation process, with a focus on employee innovative behaviour and the climate for innovation as mediating factors. A total of 303 participants from three organisations in the financial services sector (banking and insurance) in Namibia took part in the study. The findings suggest that employing transactional and entrepreneurial leadership styles proves beneficial for fostering innovation within organisations. Specifically, entrepreneurial leadership demonstrates positive effects on both employees’ innovative behaviour and the establishment of an innovation-friendly climate. The study reveals that a conducive climate for innovation significantly contributes to overall innovation. Moreover, the results indicate that only the climate for innovation serves as a significant mediator in the relationship between transactional leadership and the innovation process, as well as between entrepreneurial leadership and the innovation process.
