The Effects of Air Quality and the Impact of Climate Conditions on the First COVID-19 Wave in Wuhan and Four European Metropolitan Regions

This paper investigates the impact of air quality and climate variability during the first wave of COVID-19 associated with accelerated transmission and lethality in Wuhan in China and four European metropolises (Milan, Madrid, London, and Bucharest). For the period 1 January–15 June 2020, including the COVID-19 pre-lockdown, lockdown, and beyond periods, this study used a synergy of in situ and derived satellite time-series data analyses, investigating the daily average inhalable gaseous pollutants ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and particulate matter in two size fractions (PM2.5 and PM10) together with the Air Quality Index (AQI), total Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) at 550 nm, and climate variables (air temperature at 2 m height, relative humidity, wind speed, and Planetary Boundary Layer height). Applied statistical methods and cross-correlation tests involving multiple datasets of the main air pollutants (inhalable PM2.5 and PM10 and NO2), AQI, and aerosol loading AOD revealed a direct positive correlation with the spread and severity of COVID-19. Like in other cities worldwide, during the first-wave COVID-19 lockdown, due to the implemented restrictions on human-related emissions, there was a significant decrease in most air pollutant concentrations (PM2.5, PM10, and NO2), AQI, and AOD but a high increase in ground-level O3 in all selected metropolises. Also, this study found negative correlations of daily new COVID-19 cases (DNCs) with surface ozone level, air temperature at 2 m height, Planetary Boundary PBL heights, and wind speed intensity and positive correlations with relative humidity. The findings highlight the differential impacts of pandemic lockdowns on air quality in the investigated metropolises.

Energy performance analysis of multi-chiller cooling systems for data centers concerning progressive loading throughout the lifecycle under typical climates

AbstractThe increasing demand for cooling energy in data centers has become a global concern. Existing studies lack a comprehensive analysis of the energy performance of widely used multi-chiller cooling systems in air-cooled data centers throughout their lifecycle, especially concerning progressive loading. To bridge this gap, this study conducts a thorough assessment of the energy performance of multi-chiller cooling systems throughout the entire lifecycle. Additionally, the impact of climate conditions on the energy efficiency of the cooling systems is analyzed, considering design variations for typical climates. Multi-chiller cooling system models are developed using the test data of cooling equipment and typical control algorithms. The energy performance of the cooling system is thoroughly analyzed under full-range cooling loads and climate conditions. Results show that free cooling time could differ up to 1442 hours at different part load ratios in the same location. Furthermore, the cooling system’s coefficient of performance (COP) varies significantly, by up to 6, at different part load ratios, corresponding to a difference in power usage effectiveness (PUE) up to 0.14. Notably, the average cooling system COP throughout the lifecycle loading is found to be only 11.7, 2.9 lower than the design system COP.

Sand dunes Groundwater Quality in the context of Climate Change: A Case Study of Phao Dai Hamlet, Tien Giang, Vietnam

Abstract Climate change is currently the main cause for deteriorating freshwater sources worldwide. It has raised sea levels and fluctuated rainfall over the years, causing salinity intrusion among coastal areas. Therefore, sand dunes, one of the primary freshwater sources formed by depositing alluvium at higher sea level altitudes, have been affected by climate change. This study focused on the impact of climate conditions on the freshwater supply in these potential areas. Fifteen groundwater samples from 06 dug wells in Phao Dao hamlet, Tien Giang province, Vietnam, were collected monthly from August 2016 to March 2017 to be analyzed at the Institute of Coastal and Offshore Engineering (ICOE). The results showed that most of the nutrient-related analyzed parameters were within the thresholds of QCVN 09 – MT: 2015/BTNMT for groundwater use and QCVN 01:2009/ BYT for drinking water quality, but not salinity-related parameters. In addition, salinity, CaCO3, and TDS unpredictably fluctuated depending on the seasons and lowered from the coastal to inland areas.

Unmasking seasonal cycles in a high-input dairy herd in a hot environment: How climate shapes dynamics of milk yield, reproduction, and productive status

This study aimed to predict the annual herd milk yield, lactation, and reproductive cycle stages in a high-input dairy herd in a zone with prolonged thermal stress. Also, the impact of climatic conditions on milk yield and productive and reproductive status was assessed. An autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model was used in data fitting to predict future monthly herd milk yield and reproductive status using data from 2014 to 2020. Based on the annual total milk output, the highest predicted percentage of milk yield based on the yearly milk production was in February (9.1%; 95% CI = 8.3–9.9) and the lowest in August (6.9%; 95% CI = 6.0–7.9). The predicted highest percentage of pregnant cows for 2021 was in May (61.8; 95% CI = 53.0–70.5) and the lowest for November (33.2%; 95% CI = 19.9–46.5). The monthly percentage of dry cows in this study showed a steady trend across years; the predicted highest percentage was in September (20.1%; CI = 16.4–23.7) and the lowest in March (7.5%; 4.0–11.0). The predicted days in milk (DIM) were lower in September (158; CI = 103–213) and highest in May (220; 95% CI = 181–259). Percentage of calvings was seasonal, with the predicted maximum percentage of calvings occurring in September (10.3%; CI = 8.0–12.5) and the minimum in April (3.2%; CI = 1.0–5.5). The highest predicted culling rate for the year ensuing the present data occurred in November (4.3%; 95% CI = 3.2–5.4) and the lowest in April (2.5%; 95% CI = 1.4–3.5). It was concluded that meteorological factors strongly influenced rhythms of monthly milk yield and reproductive status. Also, ARIMA models robustly estimated and forecasted productive and reproductive events in a dairy herd in a hot environment.

Modeling HVAC degradation due to climate shocks and stresses using dynamic Bayesian networks

The impact of climate conditions on infrastructure is a major concern for the sustainability of built environment. Two main issues that add uncertainty and complexity in climate-change impact are of interest: multiple hazard types and non-stationarity of climate actions. This paper proposes an approach using dynamic Bayesian networks to assess the reliability of a building system considering both gradual and extreme climate factors over the service life of the asset. The methodology is illustrated on a case study that examine an HVAC system, considering overheating fault and degradation risk. Compared to conventional Markov model, the results show stochastic dependence in the degradation process at different time instants and hence affect the variability of degradation. The proposed approach includes economic-based impact analysis to determine costs and payoffs accrued as the consequences. By integrating climate stress and shock and accounting for dynamic changes of the hazard, this method helps decision-makers in identifying and prioritizing adaptation strategies for building system under climate change.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY AND MONITORING OF TEMPERATURE AND SURFACE ROUGHNESS AND MICRO-HARDNESS OF THE WHEEL–RAIL CONTACT IN THE DESERT REGION OF THE OUARGLA TRAMWAY

Public transport via trams has become increasingly important in daily life to meet the growing demand for economic and environmental considerations. In order to ensure the safety of the railway system and reduce service costs, it is necessary to understand the tribological behavior of the system. There are various types of damage such as fatigue, wear, and cracking that can harm the wheels and rails. To determine the wear mechanisms and identify the situations in which wear movements occur, it is crucial to monitor factors such as temperature, surface roughness, and contact micro-hardness between the wheel and the rail. The objective of this study is to analyze the tribological behavior and the impact of climatic conditions on the wheel–rail contact system in the desert area of the Ouargla tramway in Algeria. To achieve this, an intelligent sensor programmed by a microcontroller was utilized to measure the temperature of the wheel–rail contact. Additionally, a hardness tester was used to measure the micro-hardness of the rail, and a roughness tester was utilized to monitor the surface condition of the rail. The measured temperature values during the passage of the tramway varied between ambient temperature and a temperature of 450∘C. The micro-hardness values ranged from 270 Hv to 440 Hv, and the roughness values varied between 0.4[Formula: see text][Formula: see text]m and 2.7[Formula: see text][Formula: see text]m.

The Impact of Climatic Conditions, Human Activities, and Catchment Characteristics on the Propagation From Meteorological to Agricultural and Hydrological Droughts in China

AbstractDroughts are one of the most frequent and destructive natural disasters worldwide. In the past decades, drought events in China are frequent and caused severe socio‐economic losses. To better predict and manage droughts, the spatiotemporal characteristics of the three types of droughts and propagation time (PT) from meteorological to agricultural and hydrological droughts in China during 1982–2014 were analyzed based on drought indices, while the causes of drought propagation were discussed. The results showed that meteorological droughts exhibited an insignificant trend. Agricultural droughts mainly aggravated in the northeastern and central regions. And the hydrological droughts were long‐lasting and exacerbated in most areas. The propagation speed from meteorological to agricultural and hydrological droughts was extremely rapid (1–2 months) in southeast China, and the relationships among droughts were close (correlation coefficient/R > 0.6). The propagation from meteorological to hydrological droughts was slower (6–8 months) in central China. In northwest China, the association between meteorological and hydrological droughts was weak (R < 0.4). Climatic conditions (especially temperature) played a dominant role in the propagation from meteorological to agricultural and hydrological droughts, explaining 63.3% and 52.6% of the variations in the PT, respectively. Urbanization, agricultural activities, elevation, and vegetation contributed to the propagation from meteorological to agricultural droughts. Reservoirs, agricultural activities, and vegetation also affected the propagation from meteorological to hydrological droughts by regulating hydrological processes. These findings are of vital significance to the prediction, warning, and management of different droughts.

Specifics of realization of strategic projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

Aim. To identify the specifics of realization of strategic projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (RF).Objectives. To define the actual territory of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation; to characterize the natural and climatic conditions and the significance of natural resources of the region; to analyze the importance and role of the Arctic zone in the Russian economy, energy and ecology; to identify the features and problems of infrastructure, transport and logistics in the Arctic zone; to establish indicators of the quality of urban environment; to identify the cities of the Arctic zone with the most and least favorable urban environment.Methods. Based on the strategy methodology of the scientific school of the Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) V. L. Kvint. L. Kvint, a number of factors that have a significant impact on the development and implementation of strategic projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation have been identified. The authors applied the following research methods: data interpretation, information-logical analysis, situational analysis, generalization.Results. The peculiarities of the development of strategically important projects to be implemented in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation are due to the fact that the Arctic is a territory with specific harsh natural and climatic conditions and, at the same time, a strategically important region rich in natural resources and, consequently, playing a significant role in the geopolitical context. In this regard, the development and subsequent successful implementation of projects in the Arctic is a complex task that requires taking into account the unique characteristics of the region. The author analyzes the importance and role of the Arctic zone in the context of the Russian economy, energy and environment, as well as the impact of climatic conditions and geographical remoteness of the Arctic on the process of development and possible implementation of projects in the region. The peculiarities and problems of infrastructure, transportation and logistics in the Arctic zone are identified, and the need to ensure environmental sustainability of the projects under development is substantiated. As an important aspect in the development and implementation of projects in the Arctic zone, the authors see interaction with indigenous peoples, taking into account their opinions and interests. The scientific novelty of the study consists in identifying the specifics of strategic projects implementation in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, determined by factors of three main groups. The classification including natural-climatic, socio-economic and production-economic factors that constitute the specifics of regional development of the Arctic zone has been developed. The main indicators of urban environment quality are determined and the cities of the Arctic zone with the most and least favorable urban environment are identified.Conclusions. In the article the authors summarize the theoretical and practical experience of development and implementation of strategically significant socio-economic, environmental, transport projects in the Arctic zone. The conducted research shows the necessity of realization of socially oriented strategy, substantiates the expediency of application of complex approach, taking into account the interests of all participants of the projects, and the balance between economic prospects and preservation of natural resources.

Artificial intelligence for forecasting sales of agricultural products: A case study of a moroccan agricultural company

This paper presents a study focused on the analysis of phytosanitary treatment sales in the Souss Massa region of Morocco. The objective of the study is to predict the sales of agricultural products, particularly crop protection solutions, aiming to optimize supply chain operations and meet customer demand effectively. Data for this study are collected from multiple sources, including the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called Microsoft Dynamics AXAPTA used by a leading agricultural company operating in the region. Information such as the date of sale, farming type, climate, and specific sales locations within the Sous Massa region is gathered. Machine learning techniques are applied for forecasting. Various regression models, including the Gradient Boosting Regressor algorithm, are employed to determine the most accurate predictor. Evaluation of the models reveals promising results, with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.0035 and a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.0066. The results obtained by applying various regression models, including the Gradient Boosting Regressor algorithm, demonstrate promising prediction scores. These findings contribute to the field of sales prediction in the agricultural industry while considering the impact of climate conditions, farming practices, and regional factors.

Impact of Climate Conditions on Pollutant Concentrations in the Effluent from a One-Stage Constructed Wetland: A Case Study

This paper reports the results of an investigation into the influence of precipitation and air temperature on the efficiency of pollutant removal processes and effluent pollutant concentrations in a one-stage constructed wetland with subsurface vertical flow. We studied an on-site constructed wetland system that used Phragmites australis for the treatment of domestic wastewater. The system was located in central Europe, in the south-east of Poland, in a temperate climate zone with transitional features. Physico-chemical analyses of influent and effluent wastewater, as well as measurements of precipitation and air temperature were carried out in the years 2001–2010. It was shown that the pollutant removal efficiency of the treatment plant was significantly higher in the growing season than outside the growing season (the mean efficiency is usually a few percent higher but generally this parameter is highly varied). This indicated that temperature determined the efficiency of the wastewater treatment. We found that the amount of precipitation affected the concentration of pollutants in the effluent. The more rainfall there was, the lower the content of pollutants in the effluent from the treatment plant, which demonstrated that rainwater diluted the concentrations of pollutants in the treated wastewater—thus improving the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant.

Uncovering the Efficiency and Performance of Ground-Source Heat Pumps in Cold Regions: A Case Study of a Public Building in Northern China

In cold regions, due o the impact of climatic conditions, the heat load in winter and the cooling load in summer are unbalanced. In the long-term operation of the ground-source heat pump (GSHP), the soil heat imbalance phenomenon has still not been successfully solved. Therefore, this study took the GSHP of a public building in the cold area of northern China as the research object. Based on the unit performance data of the system over 8 years and the measured data of the soil temperature field, the long-term operation efficiency of the GSHP in the cold region and the variation law of the soil temperature field were explored. In order to further study the problem of soil heat imbalance, the effect of heat exchange hole groups at different intervals on the underground soil thermal environment after 30 years of operation in the system was simulated, and the optimization scheme of heat exchange hole spacing was proposed. The research results support the improvement and optimization of GSHP design and construction, and have important practical significance for the popularization of GSHPs in cold regions.

Integrating a passive downdraught evaporative cooling tower into a Saudi house - The impact of climatic conditions on PDEC performance

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) generates the most electricity of any country in the Gulf region, and virtually all that electricity is produced by the burning of fossil fuels - natural gas and crude oil. The residential sector accounts for about 50% of the total electricity demand in the Kingdom, and around two-thirds of that electricity consumption is used for air conditioning. As the Kingdom transitions away from its reliance on fossil fuels, reducing air conditioning energy demand in dwellings becomes a key objective. Passive cooling systems can significantly reduce cooling energy loads for buildings while maintaining thermal comfort. This study investigated the potential of integrating a passive downdraught evaporative cooling (PDEC) tower into a typical Saudi Arabian villa. A computational model of a spray PDEC tower was developed in IES-VE software and calibrated against field data. Then, an actual Saudi villa was monitored, modelled, and validated before a PDEC tower was digitally integrated into the villa. Finally, the villa and its PDEC digital twin were used to conduct a series of parametric analyses to determine the PDEC performance in different rooms and cooling energy consumption in the villa as functions of wind speed and direction. The research found that, counterintuitively, higher wind speeds reduced the effectiveness of the PDEC system to cool rooms in the villa and that wind direction also played a role in the degree of cooling experienced in different villa spaces. In the summer season, the results indicated that the total villa energy consumption was approximately 32,415 kWh in the base case, with cooling energy representing 88% of the total energy used (28,337 kWh). The integration of the PDEC tower resulted in a reduction of approximately 22% in cooling energy consumption, from 28,337 kWh to 22,032 kWh, while the PDEC was operational continuously throughout the day.

Urban residents' attitudes towards the impact of public spaces on urban life quality: the case of Adana

PurposePublic spaces, which offer opportunities for social, cultural and recreational activities, enhance urban life quality (ULQ). Thus, this study aims to investigate the impact of public spaces and physical-environmental criteria affecting the usability of ULQ in Adana city, Turkey.Design/methodology/approachThe study method consists of three stages. Firstly, public spaces and physical-environmental criteria that can be effective in ULQ were determined. Secondly, the effect of the determining criteria on ULQ was evaluated through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire (1 = very negative, 5 = very positive). The survey was conducted with 601 people in the four central districts of Adana, including Çukurova, Seyhan, Sariçam and Yüregir. Participants evaluated ULQ for both the residence district and Adana city. Lastly, factors affecting ULQ were determined using exploratory factor analysis (EFA). In addition, MANOVA was used to determine the changes in factors according to socio-demographic characteristics.FindingsBased on the EFA, the results show that the criteria affecting the ULQ are grouped into four factors, including (1) open spaces, (2) cultural, sports and recreation, (3) environmental and (4) transportation. In evaluating these factors, while gender does not affect the perception of ULQ, residence districts show a statistically significant difference in the perception of ULQ. Cultural and transportation factors show statistical differences according to education and age.Research limitations/implicationsThis study has a limitation in that it relies solely on the quantitative perceptions of residents with varying demographics, such as age, gender and educational level, to evaluate public spaces and physical environment criteria. While these perspectives are valuable, they may not necessarily reflect the qualitative reality of the urban environment. Therefore, future studies combining quantitative and qualitative data could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting ULQ in urban areas.Social implicationsThe implementation of the survey showed the subjective perception of ULQ in Adana city. Urban green spaces, including cultural, sports and recreational areas, should be improved in areas with insufficient facilities that affect the quality of urban life. Additionally, the impact of climate conditions on the quality of life should be taken into account when designing the city to ensure maximum utilization of public spaces. Furthermore, safe cycling transportation networks should be developed.Originality/valueThe novelty of this study lies in its unique approach to investigating the effects of public spaces and physical environmental criteria on ULQ based on combining residents' perceptions, literature review and data analysis. The study provides a valuable perspective often overlooked in urban planning research, especially in developing countries like Turkey. Additionally, the study's findings can inform the development of strategies to enhance ULQ.

Impact of climatic conditions on radial growth of non-native Cedrus libani compared to native conifers in Central Europe.

Ongoing climate change increasingly affects growth conditions of native conifers such as Picea abies (Norway spruce) and Pinus sylvestris (Scots pine) in Central Europe. These conifers are primarily cultivated for wood production. To obtain ecologically and economically stable forests, forestry seeks alternative species that might be less prone to novel climatic conditions, such as Cedrus libani (Lebanon cedar). We aim at investigating growth responses to climatic factors of C. libani compared to native P. abies and P. sylvestris in Central Europe for 25 years (1994-2019). Growth responses were used as a proxy for tolerance towards climatic stress events, such as heat and drought. Height, diameter at breast height (DBH) and radial increment were measured for 40-year-old tree stands of C. libani and native conifers. Radial growth responses to selected climate parameters were analysed using bootstrapped correlations with detrended growth index chronologies and growth response indices for drought years (2003, 2012, 2015, 2018). For C. libani, radial growth was positively correlated with high water availability in late winter and spring, while for P. abies, February and summer and for P. sylvestris, July showed such a relationship. Cedrus libani exhibited the highest resistance, recovery, and resilience in response to climatic extremes. Against the background of climate change, C. libani could serve as an alternative conifer species to establish climate-resistant viable forests in Central Europe.

Comparing the Measured Frequency Characteristics of PCBs with Modal Reservation Before and After Failure at Different Temperatures

Introduction . Modal reservation (MR) is a new way of reserving electrical circuits by means of strong electromagnetic coupling between their conductors, which not only increases their reliability, but also ensures their electromagnetic compatibility. Although showing much promise for critical radio electronic devices, MR has so far been studied exclusively at room temperature, without taking climatic conditions into account. Aim . Presentation of the results of an experimental study into the frequency characteristics of printed circuit boards (PCBs) with MR based on coupled microstrip lines under climatic impacts in the form of low and high temperatures to evaluate the MR effectiveness before and after failures. Materials and methods . PCB prototypes based on a microstrip line from a domestic material of the STF brand without and with MR (before and after two types of failure) were manufactured at the Polyus research and production center, Tomsk, Russia. These prototypes simulated the device operation before and after two types of failures. Using a vector network analyzer, frequency dependences of S-parameters of the prototypes were experimentally investigated in a heat-cold climatic chamber at temperatures ranging between minus 50 and 150 °С. Transmission and reflection coefficients in both directions of signal propagation were measured. Results . It is shown that for the working circuit of PCBs with MR, before and after failures, an increase in temperature from room temperature to 150 °С leads to a decrease in the transmission and reflection coefficients in both directions (to a maximum of 2 dB and 29 dB, respectively). Conversely, a decrease in temperature results in an increase in these coefficients (to a maximum of 0.8 dB and 23 dB, respectively). At low and high temperatures, a shift of resonances (up to 500 MHz) towards high and low frequencies, respectively, is observed. Conclusion . The MR effect is shown to remain after failure, having almost no influence on the useful signal, except at high temperatures, at which the operating frequency range of the useful signal can be significantly reduced. Future research should be aimed at reducing the sensitivity of the characteristics to temperature changes by means of selecting other PCB materials, as well as at investigating the radiated emissions from PCBs with MR before and after failures under the impact of climatic conditions.

An Assessment of the Effects of Flood on Agricultural Production in Auyo Local Government Area of Jigawa State, Nigeria

Within the past decades, the impact of climate conditions is evident on crop productions across the Nigeria’s different regions. Between the years 2021 and 2022 Nigeria witnessed one of its worst floods in the last decade as hundreds of villages and urban centres were submerged in waters, displacing over 2.4 million people. These events had negative impacts on crop yield. Crop yield is the product of both growth and development. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the effects of flood on agricultural production in Auyo Local Government Areas of Jigawa State, Nigeria spanning a period of 30 years (1993-2022), with the aimed of conducting a land-use and land-cover change of the study area; analyze the temporal trends of rainfall in the area of study; examining the yields of agricultural production in the area and to establish the relationship between agricultural yields and flood occurrence in the Auyo Local Government Area. Thus, both primary and secondary sources of data were employed in this study. In view of this, Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM) of 2002 and Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) data of 2022 where used. In order to examine the trend in rainfall and agricultural yields series, 5-year running mean and linear trend lines was calculated and plotted using Microsoft Excel Statistical Tool. The rainfall and agricultural yields series were also sub-divided into 5-year non-overlapping sub-periods and Cramer’s test was then used to compare the means of the sub-periods (5-years) with the mean of the whole record period (30 years). The relationship between the flood and agricultural yields were tested using R statistical analysis. The study revealed that built-up increased from 14% in 2002 to 19% in 2022. Bare lands occupied about 50km2 of the total area examined in 2002, but decreased to about 44km2 in 2022. In addition, the water body decreased from about 172km2 in 2002 to 155km2 in 2022. Besides, the positive nature of relationships between rice yields and flood occurrences indicated a significant degree of relationship at 95% confidence level. In view of this, it was recommended among other measures, the need for the development of a Response Farming Technique and longitudinal approach for comprehensive measures to address the shock and destruction that comes with re-occurrence of flood.

Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) crop is grown worldwide, under a range of agro-environments. This crop is primarily grown for its edible oil but also for its achenes (confectionery types), both commonly used in human food. With ongoing climate change, sunflower, as a spring crop, could be more exposed to the direct effect of heat stress and to different drought scenarios, resulting in severe yield losses, oil content decrease and alteration of fatty acids composition. The oil concentration in sunflower (whether linoleic or oleic varieties) is valued above the contribution of genotype, of environment but also of the crop management. In our study, with different sunflower hybrids, experimented in different conditions of the environment, we obtained results on oil content and fatty acids composition. The oil content in kernels is influenced by climate. This depends by air temperature in period of anthesis or during grain filing, also by rainfall. The unsaturated fatty acids of sunflower oil are much more affected by genotype and environment than the saturated ones. Cooler regions offer a more favorable climate for the oil and linoleic acid synthesis. There is an indirect relationship for oleic and linoleic content, in sunflower oil.
