The comparative study on the osteocranium of red snappers Lutjanus malabaricus (Schneider, 1801) and Lutjanus timorensis (Quoy & Gaimard, 1824) harvested from Pulo Aceh Waters, Indonesia

Red snapper fish is one of the most economically important marine fish groups in the world with high morphological similarities. Currently, the taxonomy of snappers relies on external morphological characteristics and genetics (DNA barcoding). Relying solely on morphology for taxonomy might lead to invalid results, whereas the genetic approach is known to be costly and time-consuming. Therefore, this study aims to examine the difference in the head bone (Osteocranium) osteology of two red snappers species namely Lutjanus malabaricus and L. timorensis, harvested from Aceh waters, Indonesia using an alternative approach based on osteological characteristics. A total of five fish samples of each species were collected from fishermen operating in the northern waters of Aceh and were landed at the Lampulo Fish Port, Banda Aceh City, Indonesia. Osteology samples were prepared through six steps, including exterior muscle elimination, immersion in 70% alcohol solution, drying, photographing bones, image editing, and identification of terminology. The results showed that the cranial of Lutjanus is supported by 25 bones, where 13 bones showed differences among the two species of red snappers, namely the nasal, preethmoidal, ethmoidal lateralis, prefrontal, foramen frontal, pterotic, lacrimal, crista occipital, interopercular, opercular, palatinum, preopercular, and premaxilla bones. Among these, a significant difference was found in the angle of the crista occipital bone, where L. timorensis was higher than L. malabaricus. Therefore, it was concluded that the crista occipital bone was a key characteristic to distinguish between the two species of red snappers examined. This study showed that the osteocranium approach can be employed to validate the taxonomic status of these species.

US FDA public meeting: identification of concepts and terminology for multicomponent biomarkers.

The US FDA convened a virtual public workshop with the goals of obtaining feedback on the terminology needed for effective communication of multicomponent biomarkers and discussing the diverse use of biomarkers observed across the FDA and identifying common issues. The workshop included keynote and background presentations addressing the stated goals, followed by a series of case studies highlighting FDA-wide and external experience regarding the use of multicomponent biomarkers, which provided context for panel discussions focused on common themes, challenges and preferred terminology. The final panel discussion integrated the main concepts from the keynote, background presentations and case studies, laying a preliminary foundation to build consensus around the use and terminology of multicomponent biomarkers.

The Value of Research Methods in Literary Studies

Most research in different branches of science (Natural and Social), including literature and art, takes its source from the objective needs of humans and society. Likewise, many countries are investigating underground resources to strengthen economies and meet the needs of their people. This topic is very important to the value of literary research because if a researcher writes the history of his language’s literature, there are some problems with the sources, such as: how many poets with the same name have died in a certain period? If the speeches, writings, and poems are mixed up, their names are confused, or there is doubt about their effect, research can answer all these problems; therefore, there is a need for research and investigation for the development and advancement of knowledge, science, art and literature. The purpose of the article was to show the value of research methods in literary research. In the relevant part, the use of library methods in the field of literature identification, the research definition, types, and the literal meaning terminological identification, value, and importance of the “Method” term have been pointed out. The value of research methods in the field of Pashto literary research is very significant and important.

Public diplomacy: terminological, ontological, and applied research results

Abstract. The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of public diplomacy. Over time, the term ‘public diplomacy’ has undergone a semantic transformation, shifting from a mere designation of diplomatic style to encompassing the way of conducting relevant activities. It has also experienced a cognitive transformation, transitioning from life-experiential cognition to a scientific one. Within the problematic field of research, public diplomacy can be defined by the concept’s fundamental social and historical circumstances, content, or individual features. The empirical findings only present a terminological identification and propose it as a scientific hypothesis, lacking a complete and universally recognised scientific system. The multifaceted nature of the phenomenon and ambiguous interpretation of its possible application in practice require further research to identify the concept’s content and specify its institutional elements. The study aims to define the complex concept of public diplomacy by analysing its historical and logical features, encompassing the transformation of the term, and determining the fundamental socio-historical circumstances that led to its emergence. It also seeks to establish a cause-and-effect relationship between these circumstances and public diplomacy, explore its essential features, assess the cause-and-effect link between public diplomacy and its specific forms identified in scientific literature, and evaluate their alignment with the concept’s scope. Additionally, the study aims to determine the institutional elements of public diplomacy and estimate its significance as a resource of the state’s foreign policy power in Ukraine. The study employs general scientific methodological tools, including comparative analysis, categorical analysis, complex analysis, hypothetical and deductive methods, cause-and-effect analysis, generalisation, and systematisation. Integrating corpus-based and NLP approach to extract terminology and domain-oriented information: an example of US military corpus

Within the modern information, communication and technology (ICT), seeking high efficient and accurate corpus-based approaches to process natural language data (NLD) is critical. Traditional corpus-based approaches for processing corpus (i.e. the collected NLD) mainly focused on quantifying and ranking words for assisting human in extracting keywords. However, traditional corpus-based approaches cannot identify the meanings behind the words to properly extract terminologies nor their information. To address this issue, the main objective of this paper is to propose an integrated linguistic analysis approach that combines two corpus-based approaches and a rule-based natural language processing (NLP) approach to extract and identify terminologies and create the text database for extracting deeper domain-oriented information by using the terminologies as channels to retrieve core information from the target corpus. Military domain is an uncommon research field and often classified as confidential data, which caused little researches to focus on. Nevertheless, military information is vital to national security and should not be ignored. Hence, to verify the proposed approach in extracting terminologies and information of the terminologies, the researchers adopt the US Army field manual (FM) 8-10-6 as the target corpus and empirical case. Compared with AntConc 3.5.8 and Tongpoon-Patanasorn’s hybrid approach, the results indicate that from the perspectives of terminology identification, texts database creation, domain knowledge extraction, only the proposed approach can handle all these issues.

Formation of Technical and Technological Competence Among Future Engineers-Educators in the Process of Professional Training: Research Results

Scientific and technological progress determines the transition to high-tech production, innovative development of the economy, which creates new requirements for the training of qualified labour and the need to modernize engineering and pedagogical education with the strengthening of the technical and technological component of the professional competence of the engineer-teacher. The article reflects the stages, content, processes and research tools for the formation of technical and technological competence in future engineers-teachers in the process of professional training. The analysis allowed the authors of the study to determine the content of the technical and technological activity of the engineer-teacher, to carry out a conceptual and terminological identification of basic definitions, and then to determine the essence of the technical and technological competence of engineers-teachers, the structure of which is a system of interrelated components – motivational-value, communicative, cognitive and reflective. The authors refer to the theoretical foundations of the study as a set of methodological approaches to the formation of technical and technological competence: competence-based, practice-oriented, activity-oriented, personality-oriented, com- municative, integrative. As a result of the study, the diagnostic tools have been improved in the context of determining the criteria (motivational-value, cognitive, communicative and reflexive), indicators and levels of formation of the technical and technological competence of future engineers-teachers. Attention is focused on the substantiation and development of pedagogical conditions for the formation of technical and technological competence in future engineers and teachers. The mechanisms and tools by means of which the complex of pedagogical conditions in the process of professional training of students of the experimental group was realized are described. The effectiveness of the developed pedagogical conditions, their productive influence on the formation of all components of technical and technological competence are shown. It was revealed that only under the condition of the comprehensive implementation of the presented pedagogical conditions there is an effective formation of the technical and technological competence of future engineers-teachers, which is confirmed by the methods of mathematical statistics. The directions of further research of the problem of the formation of technical and technological competence of future engineers-teachers in the plane of integration of economies, further modernization of production, digitalization trends in all spheres of public life are indicated.

СТАНДАРТИЗАЦИЯ КАДРОВЫХ ПРОЦЕССОВ СИСТЕМЫ МЕНЕДЖМЕНТА КАЧЕСТВА ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ

The article considers an approach to the standardization of personnel processes in the integrated quality management system of the organization. The possibility of standardization of functional areas of the organization's management on the basis of international and authentic national standards is analyzed. The absence of international (national) standards regulating a number of functional areas of activity in the organization, in particular the activities of human resource management of the organization, is revealed. The expediency of research and adaptation to the specifics of domestic management developed by the technical committee ISO/TC 260 «Human Resource Management» family of international standards ISO 30400, which regulates personnel activities in the organization, is substantiated. The limitations and possibilities of integrating the set of standards under consideration into the quality management system of the organization are investigated. An approach to the adaptation of international standards ISO 30400:2016 is proposed based on the identification and interpretation of personnel terminology, taking into account national specifics, as well as the dual nature of human resources. The expediency of using the proposed approach to the standardization of personnel processes of the organization's QMS is argued.

Terminology Data Processing: Model of the Dictionary of Librarianship, Information and Book Science

This paper focuses on terminological data identification, management, standardization and linguistic modeling techniques used in preparing a new model of the Lithuanian-English Dictionary of Librarianship, Information and Book Science at the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania. This model is analysed from the point of view of current trends in terminology and standardization, and can expand knowledge exchange and help in its exchange accross these areas as well as improve the quality of professional content management in the future. Another aim of this paper was to update the importance of glossaries of technical terms for linguistic representation and global digital dissemination of scientific data in Lithuanian. This can help improve the quality of librarianship, information and communication knowledge, publicity, and wider use.

Comparative osteology of Tor tambroides (Bleeker, 1854) and Tor tambra (Valenciennes 1842) vertebral column (ossa vertebrae)

Information related to osteology plays a vital role in support ecomorphology and phylogenetic relationship analysis in fish. This study aimed to describe the comparative morphology of the vertebral column between Tor tambroides (Bleeker, 1854) and Tor tambra (Valenciennes 1842). Samples of Tor tambroides and Tor tambra were obtained from fish traders in the Tangse River area of Pidie Regency and Sampoinet River area, Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province. Vertebral column preparation consists of five steps: muscles and scales separation, immersion in a formaldehyde solution, drying, morphometric measurements, photographing and image editing, and identification of terminology. The results showed that there are morphological differences between Tor tambroides and Tor tambra vertebral column, particularly in the axial vertebrae, posterior vertebrae caudales, and urostylus regions. The pleural costae of Tor tambroides have a posterior curve with the left and right sides interlocking. The lateral Tor tambroides process tends to curve posteriorly, while the Tor tambra tends to round up parallel to the dorsal costae. Tor tambroides tend to have stronger ligaments marked by the absence of a foramen between the hypural. Morphometrically, Tor tambroides tend to have higher centrum ratios (length, width, and height), neural spine, haemalis spine, and costae compared to Tor tambra. The significant difference in morphometric results in observed the axial vertebrae and the posterior vertebrae caudales region. Further research related to the correlation of vertebral column morphology with the environmental condition of these fish is still necessary.

OUTSOURCING IN MANAGEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE POTENTIAL

The article reviews the conceptual characteristics of outsourcing, its terminological identification and, based on the approaches of researchers to the interpretation of its features, presents the author’s vision of its essence. It is revealed that from the point of view of potential management, outsourcing is an organizational and economic lever that allows the management of the enterprise to concentrate activities on the main types of products or certain specific (profile) business processes and transfer part of functions or types of non-core activities, to a secondary contractor, in order to meet the needs and attract the potential of its resources, capabilities and competencies. The main obstacles to the use of outsourcing and its insufficient efficiency are caused by: unsatisfactory quality of products and works, low productivity of production and labor, lack of investment in modernization and technological renewal of production, not developed culture of contractual relations, inertia of enterprise managers to change the practice of business relations that have developed, the mentality of the Ukrainian owner "everything should be mine", the lack of legislative and regulatory acts to regulate partnerships in the process of outsourcing implementation. On the other hand, large agricultural holdings, through the creation of subsidiaries to optimize the use of resources, output and will continue to output non-core business processes. It is determined that in conditions of complex and branched economic activity, outsourcing becomes a tool that forms competitive advantages in managing the potential of the enterprise, and may have a positive or negative opinion of its implementation and use. It is also noted that outsourcing combines economic and managerial components and, unlike other forms of interaction, has fundamental differences from purchasing, and is not a contractual form of labor organization. Scientific research has led to the provision of outsourcing as a network structure, which consists of companies connected by outsourcing contracts and includes companies-customers and contractors, working together and sharing the processes, necessary to produce a finished product of a system integrator, which is the owner of a trademark. The Status of Professional Vocabulary in the Language System

Although in various classifications of social dialects the professional language (professional lexical system) is singled out sufficiently clearly, but its internal heterogeneity and terminological identification have long been the most complex theoretical problems. The professional vocabulary has received in the Russian linguistic tradition a lot of different names: argot professional vocabulary, professional argo, professional argotisms (B.A.Larin, D.S.Likhachov), professional jargons, professional jargon words (V.M.Zhirmunsky, L.P.Krysin), professional terms, professional terminology (B.L.Bogorodsky, O.N.Trubachev), not standard professional vocabulary, industry jargon words (M.A.Grachev), etc. In order to eliminate terminological inaccuracy and reveal the basic properties of the professional vocabulary is classified in the article according to the following criteria: nomination methods, normative, functional-style characteristics, emotional-expressive characteristics, dictionary fixation. The proposed classification allows us to identify three groups of vocabulary — terminology, professional vocabulary and professional jargon — each of which has its own characteristics. It seems that the identified criteria and characteristics of a professional language can be considered as basic.

The Problem of Multiple Terms in Modern Criticism Structuralism and Literary Genre (As a Model)

The fragmentation of knowledge fields on themselves, and the import and export of what suits their topics and paths is a sign of openness and inclusiveness that makes their concepts vulnerable to accountability, criticism and scaling, which requires the opportunity to move from the conceptual stage to the terminological identification stage that reduces what it deems appropriate from those concepts, and the fact that the monetary field among the fields most in need of terms due to the fragmentation of intellectual philosophies and ideological affiliations of writers, critics and scholars; We decided to delve into the maze of two important terms: structuralism and literary genre. The research plan included the following: Introduction: In it we talked about how to move from the field of concepts to the field of the term, which is affected by historical development and the environmental factor; And it is in the form of word or composition. The first chapter: In it we clarified the multiplicity of visions of critics on the western and Arab levels, and from there is a difference of names, especially the emergence of the term curriculum and its tyranny over other terms. The second chapter: We talked about the differences between the critics as well, on the western and Arab levels, and how the term genre dominates neighboring terms such as type and form. In conclusion, we ask Almighty Allah to be satisfied with what we have presented, and we wish to benefit those who wish to have benefit.

The Kazakh terminology recognition system in the IT field

The design and development of the Kazakh language terminology recognition platform in IT field is one of the important means for more effective use of term resources in the field. Used a conditional random field (CRF) and manual modification method in the platform and based on the characteristics of the Kazakh language itself, this paper analyzes the rules of terminology formation and related terminology identification methods as well as describes the basic framework of the term recognition platform and the workflow and main functions of the training corpus, terminology recognition, feature template and term extraction in the system.

ІНФОРМАЦІЙНО-АНАЛІТИЧНА СКЛАДОВА ПРОФЕСІЙНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ МАЙБУТНІХ ДОКУМЕНТОЗНАВЦІВ

У статті розкрито поняття інформаційно-аналітичної компетентності майбутніх фахівців з документознавства як складової частини професійної компетентності документознавців через аналіз термінологічного апарату і виявлення особливостей формування даної компетентності. Зокрема, проаналізовано поняття «компетенції», «компетентність», «професійна компетентність», «професійна компетентність документознавців», «інформаційно-аналітична компетентність документознавців». Розглянуто існуючі в науковій літературі класифікації професійних компетенцій фахівців-документознавців, запропоновані Г. Малик, Л. Філіповою та іншими дослідниками. Зосереджено увагу на інформаційно-аналітичній компетентності майбутніх документознавців. Зокрема, простежено співвідношення інформаційного й аналітичного компонентів у структурі компетентності фахівців різних профілів, при цьому наголошено, що документознавці (інформаційні аналітики, аналітики консолідованої інформації), маючи пряме відношення до різних видів інформації та її аналізу, повинні володіти спеціально сформованою інформаційно-аналітичною компетентністю фахівця. Закцентовано на важливості й необхідності формування саме таких результатів навчання, пов’язаних з інформаційно-аналітичними знаннями, уміннями та навичками. Розкрито потенціал навчальних дисциплін інформаційно-аналітичного профілю, які мають вводитися до навчальних планів підготовки фахівців. Наголошено на посиленні аналітичного компонента у структурі інформаційно-аналітичної компетентності підготовки відповідних фахівців. Запропоновано робоче визначення інформаційно-аналітичної компетентності майбутніх фахівців з документознавства як складової частини професійної компетентності документознавців, що інтегрує знання, уміння, навички й професійно значущі якості, необхідні для пошуку, систематизації й аналізу різних видів інформації, презентування опрацьованої інформації у доступному форматі, виявлення закономірностей у певній галузі та прогнозування подальшого розвитку ситуації на ґрунті виявлених закономірностей та іншого роду інформації.

Identification Of Terminology Used By Business People To Express Data Quality

Problems associated with data quality cost companies millions of dollars every year because of bad decision-making based on inaccurate information, noncompliance with regulations, or failure to timely deal with customer problems. Nowadays, data have become one of the most valuable assets of organizations; data quality is no longer a task involving only information technology managers, business managers are increasingly more implicated. In the context of business management processes, the early specification of data quality requirements can be crucial. This article reveals the results of a research study conducted in specialized sites, blogs, forums, and literature related to how business people (not specialized in information technology) express data quality needs. Additionally, how the result was validated is shown through the participation of business experts and analysts. The outcome were lists with 18 types of problems associated with data quality and 35 characteristics that data must comply with in relation to quality.

Development of mechanism and machine science in Belarus by an example of gears and gear transmissions

In a paper, the important original results on various topics of gears and gear transmissions are generalized and enhanced, which are described at large in the monograph ‘Gears and Transmissions in Belarus: Design, Technology, Estimation of Properties’, Minsk, 2017 (in Russian). Achievements of Byelorussian scientific schools in field of mechanical gear transmissions and polymer composite gears are presented. Technological aspects, models and methods for calculation and design of drives and their components as well as estimation of lifetime, noise and vibration characteristics are described. The complex of key issues for development, manufacturing, diagnostics and testing gears, which largely determines the competitiveness of machines and their transmissions, is considered. The activities of Belarusian scientists in IFToMM are characterised, including their contribution to identification of terminology on gears. The paper is a kind of guide on science-intensive developments of Belarusian specialists in the field under discussion.

EVALUATION OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY BUSINESS-PRACTICES: EU AND UKRAINE

The research presents a comparative evaluation of modern CSR business-practices of the European and Ukrainian companies. In this study we compare modern business practices of CSOs of European and Ukrainian companies for their terminological identification and levels of understanding. We also evaluate their motives, main areas of application, the existence of a formalized CSR policy, forms and tools of CSR practices, key barriers, methods of interaction between companies and their stakeholders, perspectives and priorities for the development of CSR practices in Ukraine.
