Human Research Development for Purpose Drug Research Function Increasing Case Disclosure in the Jurisdiction of the Cirebon City Police

<p><em>The narcotics problem in Indonesia is still very high, including cases of narcotics abuse. This problem also occurs in the legal area of the Cirebon City Police with an increasing trend in drug abuse. However, at the same time there is a decrease in the number of P21 which implies a decline or other factors that influence member performance, both internal and external. Therefore, handling drugs is a special concern for various groups. Not only the state apparatus, including outside the apparatus are involved in handling drug cases. In particular, the National Police is the front guard in handling drug cases. In the East Belitung area, the Police have the authority to handle drug problems which are directly handled by the Narcotics Research Unit (Satresnarkoba) which is tasked with carrying out the guidance and guidance of investigative functions, investigations, supervision of investigations into criminal acts of abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs and their precursors, as well as guidance and counseling in the context of prevention and rehabilitation of victims of drug abuse.</em><em></em></p>

Work systems of persons with disabilities in the company

The absence of an integrative work pattern between schools, companies and the government is a major obstacle for the employment of people with disabilities. Hence, there is need to create adequate partnerships between these stakeholders in the form of systematic and integrated work system and structure. The purpose of this study is to formulate a work system of people with disabilities in the company. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was used involving four participants, consisting of a principal and a skill teacher at a special school for deaf children, a Head of the Human Research Development (HRD) Division in a Company X, and a Head of the Department of Manpower in Bandung. Data digging is done through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The study consist of three stages, including 1) Assessment of field needs, 2) System Formulation, and 3) Execution Tests. Subsequently, the outcome is used to produce a guideline of Work System for People with Disabilities in Companies, comprising the assessment needs of Schools, Companies and the Manpower Office, alongside Work Principles and Mechanisms, as well as Evaluation. The results is the stakeholders reached an agreement on the value of meaningfulness as a guide. The process of establishing human resources is changing life patterns in line with industrial era 4.0. It is practicing education by guidance booklet need analysis. It is a planning roadmap for 2021. It is a practicing guidance booklet in line with the need of the industrial era of 4.0. the strategy and process of human resource development enhancement could be done maximally by the new year. It is when the vision and mission of government will be changed following 4.0 industrial era.

The role of ethics and research integrity in the training of health professionals and in the development of human research

These aspects are essential when engaging in research and for the identification of these elements in research papers. This knowledge will contribute to successful and evidence-based approaches when individuals are working with patients, teaching, or engaging in research.

Galileo y Zubiri… los inicios de la técnica moderna. El método experimental como «probación física de la realidad»

Este artículo busca pensar los orígenes de la Técnica moderna en la vida y obra del científico pisano Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) a la luz de dos ideas fundamentales, por una parte, lo acontecido en la propia época de Galileo (siglos XVI y XVII) y, por otra parte, en la categoría fundamental de «experimentación» como «probación física de la realidad» que aparece en la obra Inteligencia y razón (1983) de Xavier Zubiri (1898-1983). Desde esta categoría de análisis podremos ver la riqueza de la inicial investigación científico-técnica de Galileo y cómo ésta ha sido decisiva en el desarrollo ulterior de la investigación humana a lo largo de la Historia.

Employment opportunities in home science education

Home science is a unique discipline with a blend of science and art which gives a variety of skills to the youths such as cooking, catering, processing, stitching, decoration, boutique, fashion designing, day care and health care. It also provides social and cultural values with the communication and human research development. The present study mainly focused on an overview, emerging employment opportunities and major institution of home science education in the country. In India, home science education is in its emerging stage of development, so home science graduates and post graduates have ample employment opportunities not in private sector but also in co-operative, government and semi government sector along with entrepreneurship opportunities. Home science professionals have a lot of employment opportunities in private sector (cooking, fashion designer, housekeeping, dietitians), NGOs (social welfare officer, food analysts, research officer, fashion designer) government sector (scientists, professors, research assistant) and self-employment sector (boutique, cloths designing, grooming centre, hobby centre, child care, catering and health care). Thus, home science is an emerging academic discipline which has ample opportunities of employment and entrepreneurship development in academic as well as in corporate sector.

Human research development: A case study of an NGO in Assam

The present paper discusses about development followed by human development. Concept like human research development has also got due importance in the paper citing its need in context to present day condition. The paper has further highlighted the contribution of an NGO named “Society for North East Handmade Paper Development (SNEHPAD)” of Assam, India in the field of Human Research Development through a case study. The paper has been concluded with few suggestions made by the authors on the basis of the data collected through case study.

The impact of international experience on cultural intelligence: an application of contact theory in a structured short-term programme

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of a short-term international experience, which is designed to address the conditions outlined in Allport’s (Allport, G.W. 1954. The Nature of Prejudice. New York: Perseus Book Group) contact hypothesis, on each of the four factors which make up cultural intelligence (CQ). A sample of 135 university students was broken up into test and control groups. The results for the test group suggest that the short-term experience ranging from 7 to 12 days within a structured study abroad service programme, including modest pre-trip preparation, found a significant increase in each of the four factors of CQ. At the same time, there was no significant change in the control group. Implications for human research development research and practice as well as limitations and suggested areas for future research are discussed.

The current state and status of HRD research

Another conclusion is that human resource development research is developing the potential to lead in fundamentally changing the nature of organisation, management and work. A final conclusion is that the concept of human resource development and that of the learning organisation have much in common.Originality/valueProvides possible links between the concepts of a learning organisation and human resource development.

An Exploratory Examination of the Literature on Age and HRD Policy Development

Older workers are a differentiated employee group with different workplace issues. A literature review was conducted to further develop the framework (the three traditional components of human research development [HRD]—training and development, career development, and organizational development—combined with the three working patterns of remaining, returning, and retiring). In each intersection, a question was raised to assist HRD practitioners evaluate organizational policy and practices concerning older worker issues. Using the scanning method, emergent trends and issues were identified through a content analysis of abstracts. This study suggests a new conceptualization of the workspace as a field of interacting forces in which the older workers' decisions to remain, return, retire, or renew the work contract is moderated by organizational decisions to retain, retrain, recruit, or redesign the work contract for older workers.
