Three-Dimensional Visualization Algorithm Simulation of Construction Management Based on GIS and VR Technology

With the development and application of information technology, the digitization of information management and the virtualization of physical models have become very important technical application fields in the world. The establishment of the 3D landscape model and the realization of the 3D geographic information system (GIS) are based on this, and there is not only a wide range of development prospects in many aspects such as urban planning and management, planning and design, local government construction, housing industry development, land monitoring and management, and environmental monitoring and evaluation. There are not only research studies and formulations but also a practical significance in other analysis, evaluation, decision making, and other departments. In recent years, the research of 3D city modeling has been developed rapidly, and most of the existing 2D-GIS can be transformed into 3D visual landscape. Based on the three-dimensional geographic information system and desktop drawing software AutoCAD, this paper takes the two-dimensional line drawing (DLG) of a residential district as the base map, expounds the design process of the three-dimensional simulation model of the urban community from the aspects of map preprocessing, building simulation model construction, texture mapping, and virtual visualization, and discusses the problems encountered in it. The main contributions of this paper are that this technology puts forward a new solution for the integrated corridor operation and maintenance management, greatly improves the intelligent management level of the integrated corridor operation and maintenance work, and simplifies the complex integrated corridor operation and maintenance management. It is helpful to improve the work efficiency of operation and maintenance, reduce the dependence of personnel, and respond to the long-term construction needs of the smart city at the same time.

Strategic priorities for development of housing construction and renovation sector

The article highlights the problem of sustainable development of the living environment and living standards of the population, which is rather relevant for the governments of most developed countries including Russia. In recent years, the anthropogenic impact of aggressive external medium on the quality of human life increases, which reduces the working capacity of citizens and consequently lowers their labor productivity. The implementation of «Concept for the Transition of the Russian Federation to Sustainable Development», which was elaborated and adopted in 1996, implies a gradual transition to the balanced solution of pressing social and economic issues and problems that concern preserving natural resources in order to meet the needs of present and future generations. The authors emphasized the need for a scientific-theoretical and methodological substantiation of preparing the strategic priorities of the housing development planning with a focus on creating competitive residential housing and renovation projects. The authors note that the greening of housing construction and renovation industry helps to ensure high living standards and contributes not only to improving human well-being and increasing person’s lifetime but also enhances his or her working capacity and labor productivity. The elaboration of strategic priorities of the housing industry development involves the consideration of current challenges of the national economy.

Measuring the symbiotic development of rural housing and industry: A case study of Fuping County in the Taihang Mountains in China

Rural areas are in decline, globally, and their revitalization requires the symbiotic development of rural housing and industry. Whereas previous studies have examined the relationship between urban jobs and housing and rural population flows, a systematic examination of the relationship between rural housing and industry is lacking. In the Taihang Mountains in China, natural conditions and other factors have constrained symbiotic rural housing–industry development, leading to their separation in most areas. Consequently, a case study of Fuping County, in this region, was conducted to measure the rural housing–industry symbiotic level (HISL). The HISL was established through an assessment of population, land, and industry indicators that were used to construct an evaluation model. The spatial characteristics of HISL, population–land–industry interaction forces, and functional zones were analyzed to ascertain the causes of the rural housing–industry disjuncture. The results of the analysis indicated that the county’s overall HISL was low, with clear spatial east–west differences. The unbalanced development of the population–land–industry system and the interactions of its components have led to the emergence of three village types: population–land force leading (PLL), population–industry force leading (PIL), and land–industry force leading (LIL). Three functional zones relating to symbiotic rural housing–industry development were identified: key development, potential development, and steadily improving zones. The low level of population–industry coordination is a significant cause of the housing–industry disjuncture. The use of the above model for assessing the relationship between rural housing and industry can yield insights for promoting sustainable rural development and revitalization through geographical engineering.

This article deals with social and economic essence of strategy of the housing industry development, both complex system of economic relations in field of production and consumption, which is regulated through the mechanism of prices and implemented through formation and realization of priority directions. Developed criteria for classification of housing construction projects as environmentally friendly and the quality criteria of variables for assessment of the environmental friendliness of residential buildings allowed to determine the ways of development of the industry on the basis of creation of competitive projects in interrelation with quality, environmental friendliness and price of consumption.

The study of the spatial differentiation of the residential land-use in Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Holiday Resorts

A reasonable degree of spatial structure of urban residential land will not only affect the quality of life of residents, but also affect the development efficiency of the entire city. Residential land nature of structural changes is the change in the social structure of residential land on the spatial distribution of specific performance. Under the background of the rapid urbanization, fevelopment of National Tourist Resort also presented the phenomenon of urbanization and promoted its interior spatial variation of the formation of residential land. This article aims to examine the Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Holiday Resort spatial differentiation of residential land-depth analysis of the phenomenon, based on the three-phase SPOT5 and satellite sensing data of Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Holiday Resort between 2003 to 2012. This paper, by using GIS technology combined with differentiation index D and multiple-group differentiation measure model D(m), analyzes residential space differentiation process, the distribution and the driving mechanism of Jishitan in villages scales, optimizes the allocation of resources, and promotes the healthy and steady development of domestic tourism resort. Results show that:(1) Between 2003 and 2012, there were differences among the varying degrees of various types of residential land-use in Jinshitan. Rural residential differentiation gradually increased, and the differentiation of the rest of other types declined. Differentiation of the garden house ranged from 0.06 to 0.65, which showed the most dramatic fluctuation. The spatial distribution intensity of Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Holiday Resort differed within a reasonable range.(2) In the background of the traditional residential type gradually being replaced by the new ones, the area of the garden houses, commercial residential and common residential had been growing rapidly and the distribution had been ranging, which was mainly distributed along the coastline or scenic areas, and it was becoming more widely. The number of the rural houses was increasingly decreasing, while the covering area was more and more scattered even disappeared. In general, residential land area increased significantly.(3) In the three stages of the development of housing industry, the driving mechanism of residential land differentiation in Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Holiday Resort is multifaceted. The government decisionmaking is the control power. The social class differentiation is an important force. The market mechanism is the dominant force. The personal choice is the auxiliary power. These factors interact with each other, and work together on the development of tourism real estate in Jinshitan National Tourist Resort. Jinshitan National Tourist Resort is regarded as the representatives of the first state-level tourist resorts, therefore it has a profound reference for studies on its evolution and formation mechanism for the development of other similar tourist resorts.

A Review of Malaysian Terraced House Design and the Tendency of Changing

The construction of terraced houses is the main contributor to the successful development of housing industry in Malaysia but illegal changes and modifications by buyers and occupants may diminish its original identity or characteristics. The physical adaptation and adjustment made by the occupants to fit their utilitarian needs could result in the extensive modification of the housing facilities and the relocation of spatial distribution. Since alteration and renovations are always done and made without proper control, terraced house in Malaysia has lost its originality. This paper provides literature reviews on housing modifications specifically in terms of design consideration and changes in design. It describes the relationship between human and their territory and space which then leads to changes in lifestyle and design. Finally, a conclusion is drawn on the effect of altering the appearance and the change of the original architectural character.

Research on Residence Common Value

This paper reviews the concept of customer value and its development at home and aboard. As there are still problems in our country’s housing industry development, it will be limitation to study housing value using customer value theory.
