Manual booking and writing down records on paper are not efficient and prone to mistakes. The current system suggests a solution that is contemporary to the vices mentioned above and also improves the security and access to the documents. Use of Code Refactoring Transformation in Software Advancement

In this paper, discuss the refactoring object-oriented code effects on software quality. We can say that refactoring is the reengineering process of code in software development, sometimes it is very helpful because it is not as expensive. The external behavior of software will not be changed, that is the big advantage of code refactoring. A lot of different researcher’s research on it to evaluate the results and check the software quality because companies do not compromise on quality standard. In this paper, refactoring technique shift to software requirements because if requirements are clear and definite then all the development will be good and up to the mark. We will check it at an earlier phase of software development so in this sense it is not very expensive. Different five research questions and their answers are also part of this paper. We will use requirements divided approach in it. Staring with requirements gathering then filter, break, prioritize, numbering and then convert it into requirement document. Apply this approach to a case study (Hotel Management System) and derive the results at each phase.

Online Hotel Management System

Design and development trend of hotel management system based on Web technology

In the rapid development of modern society, how to build and promote the integration of guest rooms, catering, business culture and other various service facilities for the consumption of places, is the main issue that the domestic and foreign hotel industry actively explore. Nowadays, China's hotels have a large organization, provide more service items, and collect a large amount of information. In order to further improve the level of labor production, control costs, and improve service quality, it is necessary to achieve information management and control with the help of computers. Therefore, after understanding the current research status and development trend of hotel management system, this paper mainly studies the design of hotel management system based on Web technology according to system demand analysis and system function analysis, and puts forward effective measures from the perspective of long-term development of the industry.

The Role of Task-Technology Fit on the Design and Use of a Hotel Management System

Hotels have many problems regarding how to improve their service performance by using technologies, especially when the hotels have a bit of understanding the importance of their employees’ tasks and the technology fitness. This study designed a hotel management system based on the tasks that the employees use to provide services. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of task-technology fit on the intention to use the designed hotel management system. In addition, statistical testing methods are also carried out on the system by measuring the impact of task-technology fit on the suitability between user task needs and technology, on user perceptions of technology and how these perceptions affect user intentions and behavior in accepting and using technology. The results of this study indicate that task-technology fit has a significant impact in facilitating its use. The results of this study contribute to the academic implementation of task-technology fit theory in the hotel reservation management system.

Implementation of Hospitality Management in the Program Islamic Tourism in South Aceh

Objective: The purpose of this research is being delivered to the concept of hospitality management with global standards in the Islamic tourism program in South Aceh District while at the same time being able to provide the right solutions to the constraints faced by related parties. Method: This study uses descriptive and analytical methods, since in this study the researcher tries to describe the phenomena or relationships between the phenomena studied in a systematic, factual and precise way. To obtain concrete data, the researcher conducted interviews with informants who understand the problem. Result and Conclusion: While the results of the research in this study are that hospitality management must be applied in its entirety so that it does not contrary to Islamic religious values, such as in terms of food, types of entertainment, accommodation, transportation, security, health, and others. Then, the recommendation in this study so that the application of hospitality runs with global standards in the Islamic tourism program in South Aceh District is to build a tourism boarding school. Research implications: The background of this research is that the development of tourist destinations in South Aceh Regency has emerged so rapidly in recent years, but has not been followed by the applicable hotel management system. This should be done immediately for the production of guides or servers that can be used in the tourism sector of the Viceroy South of Aceh, to understand Islamic religious values. Originality/value: The ultimate goal is for non-Muslim tourists to be impressed positively with the teachings of Islam. Providing tour guides as well as preachers to be able to explain to tourists the state of the desired tourist object as well as guides can carry out their da'wah about Islamic values.

Design and Implementation of a C++Based Hotel Management System

In this paper, we use C++ as the development language and QT to design and develop a hotel management system for the current development of the hotel industry. The system adopts the B/S model to connect the object with the database, so that it has better flexibility and reusability. Its functional modules mainly include customer service module, front-end processing module, back-end management module, data storage module and other parts, which mainly realize the hotel customer's reservation, check-in and check-out and the management of the hotel internal staff and other functions. The development cost of the system is low and the operation is simple, which reduces the learning cost of the staff, improves the management efficiency of the hotel and facilitates the maintenance and management at a later stage.

This software will assist the administrator in managing client information, room assignment information, payment information, driver information, reserving rooms of two distinct types, etc. With the aid of the NetBeans IDE, it is constructed in the Java programming language. Java is used for its frontend and MySQL for its backend.

Critical success factors for virtual hotel operator partnership with small- and medium-sized hotels: perspectives of owners and operators

PurposeThis paper identifies the critical success factors (CSFs) of virtual hotel operator (VHO) in using hotel management system partnerships with small- and medium-sized hotels (SMSHs).Design/methodology/approachThis study uses a qualitative approach, with 25 semi-structured interviews with hotel owners and VHO management. Thematic analysis is used to determine themes to evaluate hotel owners and operators' perceptions.FindingsCSFs for VHO partnership with SMSHs include marketing and promotion strategies, client relationships, training and human resources development, hotel operation management, innovation strategies, capital expenditures and property management systems (PMSs). VHOs also have a symbolic impact on the mutualistic relationship with SMSHs by increasing service and enhancing product competitiveness and profitability.Research limitations/implicationsFindings are beneficial for VHO in determining the most significant CSFs, thereby establishing additional metrics in business performance and increasing resilience in the accommodation sector. Further studies can measure the digital technology factors from VHO, including PMSs and mobile applications.Originality/valueThis study first identifies CSFs for VHO companies from the perspectives of hotel owners and management. This contribution adds to the literature on CSFs in the context of digital technology implementation in SMSHs. Moreover, implications are beneficial for VHO management in determining the most significant CSFs for companies to measure the business performance of the companies and increase resilience in the accommodation sector.

Poliwangi Jinggo Hotel reservation system as a pilot project for Teaching Factory (TEFA)

Poliwangi Jinggo Hotel is specially addressed for educational purpose which will be used as a Teaching Factory (TEFA), so in other words this hotel will go public in near future. To support the process and everything related to hotel operation, as a baby step it is necessary to create hotel management system. The system was designed using Windows-based application (Bistone Hotel Management System). Subsequently, the research and development were carried out based on waterfall model (Requirements Analysis and Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and Unit System Testing, and Operation and Maintenance). As for the evaluation, the room reservation system was measured by quantitative approach using 30 respondents. The results obtained in this study were hotel reservation system which included setting room types, room rates, facilities, room numbers, guest input, making reservations, and printing invoices/receipts for the initial process. Based on USE Questionnaire, the results showed that the percentage of usefulness 81.2%, ease of use 80.2%, ease of learning 80%, and satisfaction 76%. Therefore, it can be concluded that Poliwangi Jinggo Hotel room reservation system is feasible to use, together with some developments and operation & maintenance process.

An online statistical analysis of the hotel management and operation performance model

Abstract With the rapid development of Internet technology, the field of hotel management has begun to carry out informatisation construction, through which the management level and operational efficiency of hotels can be improved. The traditional hotel management work with a complex structure and cumbersome process is facing huge challenges. Therefore, this paper aims to design, develop and implement a small and medium-sized hotel management system based on customer relationship management (CRM), according to the characteristics of small and medium-sized hotel management. Management and system setting management of small and medium-sized hotels can reduce the hotel operating costs and increase the profitability by using this system. The department and employee performance appraisal can be divided into four dimensions, finance, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth for job analysis and design, using the key performance indicator method to lock key appraisal indicators, and ignore or omit irrelevant or insignificant indicators. Then the analytic hierarchy process is used to scientifically determine the indicator weights. The Delphi and in-depth interview methods are used to complete construction of the performance appraisal system, and the constructed CRM performance management system is used to achieve the hotel’s strategic goals, thus completing the fundamental goal of using the CRM model. The slacks-based measure model is based on the assumption of variable returns to scale, considering that the input redundancy and output deficiency of ineffective decision-making units are measured based on their slack. This paper defines input inefficiency as the ratio of input slack to actual input, and output inefficiency as the ratio of output slack to actual output. The total input inefficiency rate of the hotel industry in China’s ineffective provinces and regions is 0.458, while the total output inefficiency rate is 0.077, indicating that if the total investment in the hotel industry is reduced by 47.8% on average and the total output is increased by 6.9% on average, the hotels in these ineffective provinces and regions can all be relatively effective. Finally, the overall performance of the system will be evaluated, and a set of safe, convenient and friendly hotel management system will be developed.

In addition to assessing the value of an online reservation system for Sri Lanka's hotel industry, this paper will examine how the environment's components should be set up, integrated, and built, as well as how the requirements, design, construction, and test phases of the application development lifecycle should be combined to create an overall system and how a developer would actually go about creating applications that would be used in practical situations.

Covid 19 impact was affected by that. This study aims at explaining in detail how technology can use to improve the tourism sector. The main reasons for the loss of revenue in the hospitality industry are the risks of spreading COVID-19 and the need to comply with anti-epidemiological measures, which requires the creation of adequate to the challenges of modern enterprise management system based on marketing principles. management systems of hotel and restaurant enterprises in the context of ensuring their competitiveness in the process of marketing activities. Research results. The theoretical and methodological basis for writing the article were the development of domestic and foreign economists in the field of management systems, areas of competitiveness, the principles of formation and implementation of marketing policy. The importance of such an element of forming an effective management system of hotel and restaurant enterprises on the principles of marketing as a subsystem of marketing services, aimed at using modern information and communication technologies to ensure free access of customers to goods and services. Simultaneously with the large-scale introduction of the latest technologies, it is necessary to develop other management subsystems, which will accelerate the introduction of modern approaches to solving current problems in the marketing activities of hotel and restaurant and tourism businesses. Prospects for further research are the development and implementation of modern tools for the formation and implementation of management decisions aimed at solving problems of marketing efficiency of hospitality enterprises.
