Perancangan Sistem Informasi Sekolah SD Negeri 4 Kerta Payangan Menggunakan Metode Design Thinkin

School information systems are one of the most important needs in educational institutions. Building a school information system is the right step to help provide more relevant information and also in processing data in schools into useful information. However, there are some schools that have not implemented it such as SD Negeri 4 Kerta, In providing conventional information that is done manually where all data or documents are stored in hardcopy form, as well as in processing data such as school profile information, academic and school finances. The purpose of this study is to determine the design of the school information system user interface to be a solution to these problems. This research uses the Design Thinking method implemented to design a website-based school information system for SD Negeri 4 Kerta. The user interface design of the school information system is built in the form of a prototype using the figma application. This study used interview methods and literature studies in collecting data and related information. And the result of designing the user interface of the SD Negeri 4 Kerta school information system is to design a website to provide school information and to process school data and process the financial section.

In-training and private physicians' knowledge, attitudes, practices and perceived barriers on the utilization of low dose chest CT scan as lung cancer screening for high-risk patients in a tertiary hospital: Single center experience.

150 Background: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Aside from smoking cessation efforts and guidelines from all proficient panels, utilizing Low dose CT scan (LDCT) of the chest as lung cancer screening (LCS) has been poorly adopted. Methods: This was conducted after institutional review board approval. The respondents were handed hard copy or electronic consent forms and survey questionnaire depending on the platform of their choice. Results: Majority of the respondents were in-training female physicians with median age of 31 years old who specialized in Internal Medicine practicing between 1-5 years who catered to more than 10 patients per week in outpatient clinics. Nearly half of the respondents answered that the recommended frequency for lung cancer screening (LCS) for high-risk individuals is done bi-annually. Majority agreed that lung cancer screening is effective in decreasing lung cancer mortality and morbidity. Most respondents have initiated discussion about the risks and benefits of low dose chest CT scan (LDCT) as lung cancer screening among eligible high-risk patients. However, most of the respondents disagreed that lung cancer screening is cost effective. The top three perceived barriers on the utilization of Low dose chest CT scan as lung cancer screening reported in descending order revealed that it is not cost-effective, some forgets to screen patients and lung cancer screening has the potential to cause mental anguish or anxiety to patients. Conclusions: This study recommends conducting further studies exploring the socio-economic burden and impact assessment of lung cancer in the Philippines to enable translation of more meaningful strategies for local and national lung cancer screening access, health policies and financing. Promoting continuous lung cancer screening forums, lectures and information dissemination of annual LDCT of the chest among high risk patients will encourage and strengthen interdepartmental and multidisciplinary referral and collaboration in increasing earlier detection of lung cancer and decreasing related morbidity and mortality.

Financial literacy, financial technology, and financial inclusion: Effect on the financial management of MSME

This research analyzes the effect of financial literacy, FinTech, and financial inclusion on the financial management of MSMEs in Indonesia, using the Resource-Based View theory and the Technology Acceptance Model. This research uses quantitative methods with a population of 27,162 MSMEs in Badung Regency. The sampling method uses probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique, with a sample of 395 MSMEs. Data was collected through questionnaires in hardcopy form and Google Form. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) version 4. The research results show that financial literacy, financial technology and financial inclusion have an influence on financial management. The strongest variable that has an influence on financial management is the financial technology variable. This shows that technology adoption can increase effectiveness in financial management. It was found that the higher the financial literacy and adoption of financial technology, as well as financial inclusion, the wiser MSMEs in Badung manage their finances. They are better prepared to face challenges, increase transparency, and gain access to financing. This research recommends using a wider sample, for example using samples from all districts/cities in the province.

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Arsip Daerah Pada Dinas Perpustakaan Dan Kearsipan Tanah Laut Berbasis Web

The District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut Regency is a local government unit responsible for assisting the government in organizing library and archives affairs. In these activities, the archives are still in the form of hard copies, which can be lost or damaged in case of fire, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. Moreover, hardcopy archives are also subject to deterioration with age. To address these challenges, the author developed a Web-Based Regional Archive Management Information System at the District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut. The system was built using the incremental model and programmed in PHP (CodeIgniter Framework), HTML and CSS, while being designed using Entity Relationship Diagram and Unified Modeling Language. The system underwent black-box testing conducted by Batuah Teknologi Semesta, resulting in successful testing of the system's features and performance. The data used in the Web-Based Regional Archive Management Information System at the District Library and Archives Office of Tanah Laut consists of hardcopy archive data from each department within Tanah Laut. Therefore, the system was developed to provide various features that enable users to perform essential tasks. The main features of the system include the management of inactive, obsolete, and static archives.

Highlighting the importance of biodiversity conservation through the Holy Qur'an.

Religious environmentalism relies upon religious texts and leadership to promote effective and long-lasting change for environmental problems, such as responsible use and conservation of natural resources and biodiversity. World religions note the importance of biodiversity and humanity's responsibility in stewarding biodiversity as a member of ecological communities. We reviewed Quranic verses that relate to biodiversity and align with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Holy Quran was reviewed in electronic and hard copy formats, and verses related to biodiversity were translated to English and tabulated by Qur'anic chapter, verse, and narrative citation. Twenty-one Qur'anic verses were identified that addressed biodiversity. Scriptures were divided into 5 groups that addressed provision of resources, governance or stewardship of resources, nature as a teacher, and human life in nature's communities or described creation of biodiversity. Qur'anic verses were aligned with 4 SDGs (goals 12-15), which address sustainable consumption of natural resources, global climate change, life in marine environments, and life in terrestrial environments, including freshwater ecosystems. This alignment demonstrates the interconnectedness of life, that conservation of biodiversity is referenced in the Quran, and how positive management of natural recourses can be beneficial to Muslim communities on local, national, and global scales. Positive movement toward ecofriendly practices, sound environmental resource use and management, biodiversity conservation, and governmental policies on conservation can be promoted through scriptures from the Holy Qur'an.

Impact of integrating smartphones in the teaching and learning of Mathematics in Chegato Cluster, Mberengwa district, Zimbabwe

Worldwide, the utility of smartphones in the teaching and learning of Mathematics has been greatly recognized and taken advantage of. This is mainly because of the precisions this technology can bring in the classroom. This study investigated the impact of integrating smart phones in the teaching and learning of Mathematics at secondary schools in Chegato Cluster in Mberengwa district, Zimbabwe. It also examined strategies that can be used to enhance the use of smartphones in these schools. The study used a mixed method approach where both qualitative and quantitative data was gathered and was used to answer the formulated research questions. Ten parents, 10 Mathematics teachers, 4 school heads and 40 learners participated in the study. The study found that the introduction of the competence-based curriculum by the ministry of Education in Zimbabwe, which is in solidarity with Education 5.0 calls for the use of smart phones in the teaching and learning of Mathematics which ensures that several modern skills are being acquired by learners in Chegato secondary schools. Learners in Chegato Cluster benefit by using smartphones to store soft copies of various Mathematics textbooks which are often scarce in hard-copy form. Learners also benefit from Mathematical applications that are installed in their smartphones. Teachers use smartphones as media in the classroom to enhance learner-understanding of the concepts. Again, in Chegato, the use of smartphones has exposed learners to various Mathematical technological skills that help in the learning of Mathematics and has the potential of improving the pass rate. School heads and teachers acknowledged that the availability of smartphones in the schools has greatly assisted “O” level Mathematics learners to accomplish their tasks.Strategies that can be used to enhance the use of smartphones in secondary schools include the use of individualised student passwords which are controlled and monitored by the school administrators to ensure that the activities of each learner on the Internet can be tracked and any attempts by learners to visit undesirable sites are detected. Also, the use of software applications, such as Mikrotik Hotspot Blocker, can be used to block learners from accessing unsavoury Internet sites. The study concluded that though challenges such as lack of technological resources and some teachers’ negative attitudes towards the use of smart phones affect Chegato Cluster, most participants found it helpful to use smartphones in the classroom because the gadget expose learners to new and better ways of dealing with Mathematical concepts. The study finally calls for all the involved parties in the cluster and beyond to actively take up their responsibilities facilitating the use of smartphones for the benefits of the learners.

Knowledge, attitude, and practice of blood donation among undergraduate medical students in Syria.

Timely transfusion of blood products is crucial, particularly in critical medical situations. Inadequate blood donation rates pose a significant threat to public health, potentially compromising patient care. This study aims to investigate the attitudes and willingness of Syrian college students to engage in blood donation, assess the prevalence of voluntary blood donation, evaluate their understanding of the determinants and procedures involved in the donation process, and identify the key factors influencing their behavior. A cross-sectional study was conducted employing a self-administered questionnaire, distributed in both electronic and hard copy formats among college students. Data analysis was performed using the R Statistical Software. Results were presented in terms of odds ratios (OR), with statistical significance defined at a P value of .05 and a 95% confidence interval. A total of 673 medical students participated in this study, with an average age of 21.6 years. The majority (59.2%) reported a good economic status, and a high level of knowledge (99.7%). A substantial proportion (40.4%) agreed with the notion that blood donation constitutes a personal duty for every eligible individual. Multiple comparison tests revealed a statistically significant P value of .0009716, specifically concerning individuals with low economic status. Our study demonstrates a positive attitude among college students towards voluntary blood product donation. However, the majority have not engaged in voluntary activities unless mandated for specific certification purposes. Donation rates were relatively higher than the reported rates in other similar studies conducted in Middle Eastern countries.

QR Code-Based Smart Document Implementation Using Distributed Database And Digital Signature

In digitized world, digital documents are essential for information sharing. However, some organizations continue to place their reliance in traditional hard-copy formats concerning about the legitimacy of documents. This study presents an innovative approach to document verification with digital signatures, distributed databases, and QR codes. Using a two-step process for data integrity and document authentication, the study approach entails developing a Smart Document with a QR code and digital signature. For increased security and scalability, the system design distributes hash fragments among several databases using the hash split approach. The system's excellent performance, resistance to sluggish HTTP-based attacks, and effectiveness in document verification are highlighted by the results and debates. The report ends with recommendations for future improvements to strengthen the system's resilience, like implementing more secure database engines and enhancing fault tolerance. In conclusion, this method offers a viable way to verify documents in hardcopy and electronic formats in a secure and scalable manner.

Radiographic Diagnostic Choices of Palestinian Dentists for Implant Therapy

ABSTRACT Aim: To report the radiographic preferences during dental implant therapy in Palestine. Materials and Methods: Fourteen multiple-choice questions were delivered in electronic and hardcopy formats questionnaires during the Sixth International Implantology Conference (Palestine). The questions investigated the radiographic techniques that are mostly used based on various clinical scenarios and treatment phases. Results: One hundred and thirty-seven responses were captured. The majority of the participants were general dentists with implant experience (79.6%). Less than a third of the participants (27.2%) were members of the Palestinian Association of Dental Implantology. The majority (85.9%) of them have their practice in a city zone. Panoramic radiograph (PAN) combined with cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) was the most preferred radiographic technique during the planning stage. Conclusion: PAN and CBCT was the preferred choice during the planning stages. A PAN was preferred postoperatively and if no complications were associated. In the case of symptomatic patients, CBCT was the radiograph of choice.

How does digital payment transform society as a cashless society? An empirical study in the developing economy

Purpose After analyzing these uncountable benefits of digital or cashless payment, many European countries like Sweden, Finland and Canada has been trying to convert their payment system into cashless. Following these developed countries, the Bangladesh Government has taken a decision to transfer society as a cashless society by using information technologies for adopting the fourth industrial revolution over the world. Digital payment system is among the various options available for transforming a cashless society. First, this empirical study presents demographic information and digital payment characteristics on the basis of income levels. This study identifies influential factors of adopting digital payment systems. Finally, this study aims to justify how digital payments transform the Bangladeshi economy into a cashless society in developing countries. Design/methodology/approach The study was administered to a sample of 1,000 Bangladeshi customers who had engaged in online banking transactions for the purpose of acquiring items and services through both social media platforms in Google Form format and face-to-face interactions in hard copy format. Among these, 647 questions were deemed usable and were used for data analysis, where the response rate was 68%. The SmartPLS is used to create and validate the structural equation modeling model presented for the research, as well as to evaluate the hypothesized correlations between the different constructs. Findings This cross-sectional study conducted the extended technology acceptance model (TAM) with perceived security (PS) and personal innovation (PI) variables to identify the influencing adoption factors of digital payment systems. This study finds that perceived ease of use, PI and perceived usefulness have a favorable impact on individuals’ attitudes toward adopting digital payment methods (DPMs). The study also indicated that PS did not influence negatively the adoption of digital payment system. Besides this, the adoption of digital payment will help to transform society into a cashless society in the future. Research limitations/implications Increasingly prevalent across the nation. Several variables are required to facilitate the transition toward a cashless society. This study exclusively focuses on DPMs. Additionally, the data has been obtained exclusively from a single urban area. The adoption of DPMs has become increasingly prevalent across the nation. Practical implications This study would help policymakers, marketers and bankers understand which factors affect digital payment infrastructure expansion. So, they can produce digital payment apps that are compatible with different devices, have fast transactions, are user-friendly, easy to use and highly secure to maintain good attitudes toward digital payment systems. Social implications Few studies have examined how DPMs affect cashless societies in developing countries like Bangladesh. According to researchers, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first study to explore how digital payments affect cashless society in Bangladesh and raise awareness about it. Originality/value The study extended the TAM model to PS and PI. This paper is also unique in the conceptual arguments and the subject theme of the research area.

Web-based E-Report Information System Design

The E-Report application information system is a system that can assist and facilitate users in creating performance reports for a company. In this study, a web-based e-report system was developed and designed for digital reporting by field employees at PT. Cipto Sarana Nusantara, which specifically operates in the gas pipeline installation sector. Previously, the company generated field worker performance reports through manual systems, in the form of hard copies or sent via chat applications. This led to poorly organized reports received by administrators. To address this issue, the author developed E-Report, a web-based application that aims to facilitate field workers and administrators in submitting and collecting reports. By utilizing this system, reporting performance significantly improves in terms of reporting speed, accuracy, and ease. Quality of Life in Female Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors in a South African Municipality.

Breast cancer diagnosis and treatment processes affect patients physically and mentally, and have an impact on their quality of life, even years after receiving treatment. The objective of this study was to determine the quality of life in female breast cancer patients and survivors in a South African context. The municipality within which participants were recruited for this study was Ekurhuleni, based in the Gauteng province, South Africa. This study followed a cross-sectional research design. Quantitative data was collected. The Quality-of-Life Patient/Cancer Survivor Version (2012) was used to determine participants' quality of life in 4 subscales, namely, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. The questionnaire was accessible to participants via the online Google Forms platform as well as in hard-copy format at local medical facilities. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to compute statistics, and the level of significance was set at 95% (P < .05). One hundred female breast cancer patients and survivors from the region of Ekurhuleni, South Africa, took part in this study. The findings demonstrate that the quality-of-life subscale with the highest score was spiritual well-being (6.66 ± 2.07) and the lowest was psychological well-being (4.91 ± 1.93). No significant difference was found between quality of life and type of facility attended. Significant differences were found in quality-of-life ratings between breast cancer patient and breast cancer survivor populations. Breast cancer can result in a compromised quality of life, and with the increased prevalence and survival rate of breast cancer patients, both the short- and long-term effects of the condition and its treatments are heightened.

An evaluation of drug promotional literature in clinical practice

Background: In current clinical practice, pharmaceutical companies use drug promotional literatures (DPLs) as a promotional tool to introduce new products entering into the market to medical practitioners. DPLs play a major role in providing important information about the drug to the health-care professionals and to convince them to prescribe the same. Aims and Objectives: The aims and objectives of the study are to evaluate the appropriateness of DPLs as per the World Health Organization (WHO) criteria for rational drug promotion and for other information such as the pictures given and the presence of self-boasting words, if any. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted from December 2022 to May 2023 at a tertiary care teaching institute in southern Rajasthan, India. 330 DPLs, using convenient sampling, were collected in the form of hard and soft copies of flyers, leaflets, brochures, and pamphlets from various registered medical practitioners from a variety of departments and were evaluated based on the WHO guidelines. Results: A total of 330 DPLs were evaluated. Generic name was present in 98.2%, brand name in 97.9%, amount of active ingredient in 90%, name of manufacturer in 100%, and reference to scientific literature in 57.6%. About 75.5% of DPLs depicted photographs and 53% mentioned self-boasting words or phrases. Conclusion: Only few DPLs fulfilled all eleven criteria laid down by the WHO. Hence, doctors should not rely solely on promotional literature and appropriate policies must be made for vigilance of the DPLs.

THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH WORK MOTIVATION AS A MEDIATION IN ISLAMIC BANKING IN BANDA ACEH

This research aimed to see the Organizational Culture and Work Environment's impact on Employee Performance, and how employee work motivation mediates in the model. Sampling used the probability sampling method using a census. The research method used was a quantitative method by distributing 102 questionnaires in electronic and hard copy form to Bank Aceh Syariah (BAS) Banda Aceh Branch employees. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). This study’s results revealed that Organizational culture affected motivation, environment affected motivation, Organizational culture affected employee performance, environment did not affect employee performance, Motivation affected Employee Performance, Motivation mediated the Organizational Culture’s impact on Employee Performance, Motivation mediated the Work Environment’s on Employee Performance. Motivation in these findings was also proven to function as a partial mediator in the culture affecting employee performance, and as a full mediator in the environment affecting employee performance. These findings explain that the model has been verified, where the model for improving employee performance at BAS is based on suitability to organizational culture, a work environment that supports performance, and high employee motivation. This model is a premise that can be used in the development of advanced theory through further research, and is a basis for practitioners, especially BAS, to formulate strategies to improve their performance.

Gambaran Stereotype Gender di Wilayah Kabupaten Jember

The discussion about gender Stereotypes is something complex that occurs among the general public. Gender Stereotypes will greatly influence a person's perception and even behavior towards a particular gender. The focus of this research is to examine more deeply the depiction of gender Stereotypes that exist and develop in society, especially in the Jember Regency area. The number of research participants was 160 respondents aged 18 - 68 years, male and female, with a minimum education equivalent to high school. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The sampling technique in this research used accidental sampling. Distribution of the questionnaire was carried out directly in hardcopy form and also online, namely with the help of Google form. The psychological measurement scale used was a modification of Firin which was adapted by Firdausia (2018). The results of the study showed a high score for gender Stereotype attitudes. This means that there is a strong belief or view regarding the ideal attributes, characteristics, functions, roles, responsibilities, characteristics among men and women that can be accepted by a group of people.

SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS UMKM ASMAMI (ASOSIASI MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN) DI KOTA BONTANG

The ASMAMI organization (Food and Beverage Association) is experiencing problems, namely not having a system that can manage and present geographic information for mapping MSME locations, making it difficult for the community to obtain information on partner data and ASMAMI MSME locations in Bontang City. In addition, the ASMAMI organization in registering and collecting data on partners still uses documents in the form of hardcopy forms. So if there are potential partners who want to register, they must come directly to the ASMAMI secretariat to take and fill out the registration form provided. Meanwhile, document storage is in the form of an archive folder. This has the potential for errors and data loss. In an effort to deal with this problem, an ASMAMI (Food and Beverage Association) MSME Geographic Information System was designed in Bontang City using the CodeIgniter framework. This system was built using the waterfall system development method and tested using the black box method. The results of this study are the MSME Geographic Information System ASMAMI (Food and Beverage Association) in Bontang City which can present maps and profiles of MSMEs and can register and collect data on MSME partners online. In addition, this system is also equipped with a route feature from the visitor's position to the partner's position to be addressed.

Decision Support System for Determining Employee Bonuses using Analytical Hierarchy Process

Determining employee bonus salaries is one of the problems faced by every company, especially PT. Pyridam Farma, where the company finds it difficult to determine employees who are eligible to receive bonus salaries. There are many factors that cause this, including the fact that it takes quite a long time and the possibility of data being lost because it is still in hard copy form. This research uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a weighting method for the basic criteria in determining employees who deserve a bonus salary, including length of service, absenteeism (attendance rate) and employee performance. The decision support system application determines employees who are eligible to receive this bonus salary on a web basis. The system that is built is able to determine which employees will receive bonus salaries based on predetermined weights and is able to determine what percentage of bonus salary employees will receive based on the assessments that have been carried out. This system can provide a solution for PT. Pyridam Farma to determine which employees will receive bonus salaries

Transactional Management, Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Teaching Competencies of Teachers in Basic Education

There are concerns about teachers’ pedagogical competencies in the Philippines due to reports of poor performance by Filipino students in various academic disciplines. This study examined the teaching competencies of elementary school teachers and identified which, among the elements like transactional management, transformational leadership, and organizational culture, are the best predictor/s of teaching competencies. Questionnaires, in the form of hard copies and Google Forms, were used as data collection tools after undergoing rigorous scientific testing to ensure accuracy and consistency. Using Raosoft sample size calculator and reliability guidelines (Howard, 2016), this research study gathered information from 479 primary school teachers in two divisions: Gingoog City and Misamis Oriental. They were chosen using a proportionate stratified random technique. As implied by the results, it has been observed that teachers possess remarkable teaching competencies when planning, developing, and achieving desired outcomes. In addition, the teaching competencies of elementary teachers are significantly influenced by the levels of transactional management and transformational leadership exhibited by the school head, as well as the organizational culture they foster. The warehouse is one of the most important parts of a company. Ineffective warehousing processes can disrupt warehouse operations. Recording warehouse transactions that are done manually will require checking one by one on the hardcopy form that has been stored. Therefore, this internship program aims to improve the performance of warehousing operations at PT XYZ. The method used in the analysis is data collection and application system design using the prototype method. The data is taken based on the results of interviews and observations in the warehouse. This activity creates a web-based warehouse management system application to help control incoming and outgoing inventory. The system built makes it easy for administrators to see the number of items made for each event. The results of black box testing show that the application has 100% functionality. The test results illustrate that the application functions properly according to user needs and has been accepted by PT XYZ
