PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN GURU SDN KEPUTIH 245 SURABAYA MELALUI KEGIATAN TRAINING OF TRAINER

Abstract : Dental and oral health in Indonesia is still a health problem that needs attention, especially in children at elementary school age. One of the efforts to overcome dental and oral health problems in Indonesia and the participation of dentists in supporting the "Caries-Free Indonesia 2030" program, especially for school-age and adult groups. Faculty of Dentistry, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya in collaboration with Unilever conducts promotive – preventive activities. The activity is called "Training of Trainer". This program was carried out at SDN Keputih 245 Surabaya with several activities carried out including providing training on oral and dental health, how to brush teeth properly and monitoring the correct brushing time. The final result of this program is expected to prevent the improvement of dental and oral health, especially at SDN Keputih 245 Surabaya. Effectiveness of the Combination of Cat Stretching With Green Tea on Pain Intensity of Primary Dysmenorrhea

Dysmenorrhea is lower abdominal pain during menstruation which is usually accompanied by sweating, headaches, diarrhea, and vomiting. It can be treated non-pharmacologically, namely by stretching with green tea. The results of a preliminary study conducted on students at Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru were that they did not know that yoga (cat stretching) with herbal products (green tea) could reduce dysmenorrhoea. This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the combination of stretching paint with green tea on the intensity of dysmenorrhea in midwifery undergraduate students at Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru in 2024. This research used a two-group test post-test design and was quasi-experimental. The sample population of 298 female students in this study used purposive sampling taking into account the inclusion criteria with a sample size of 40 respondents divided into 2 groups, 20 for the experimental group, 20 for the control group, and data collection via questionnaire links and questionnaire sheets. Wilcoxon Test and Mann-Whitney Test analysis methods. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that there was an effect of giving a combination of stretching paint and green tea on the intensity of dysmenorrhoea pain (p-value=0.000). The Mann-Whitney test showed that there was a difference in the intensity of dysmenorrhoea pain in the two groups (p-Value=0.000). It is hoped that future research can use samples that are not small or have more than 40 respondents.

THE EFFECT OF ADDING DRIED MORINGA OLEIFERA L. ON PHYSICOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND ORGANOLEPTICS PROPERTY CRACKERS

Moringa oleifera L. leaf contain energy, fat, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamin A, and vitamin C. Crackers are a processed food made from a hard dough. The addition of dried Moringa oleifera L. leaf is expected to enhance the nutritional value and turn crackers into a functional food with benefits. This study aims to determine the influence of adding dried Moringa oleifera L. leaf on the antioxidant content and organoleptic properties, including taste, color, aroma, and texture of the crackers. The research was conducted at the Food Processing and Biochemistry Laboratory of Yudharta University, Pasuruan, and then Nutrition Laboratory of Airlangga University Surabaya and then Basic Laboratory of chemistry and biology of Hang tuah University Surabaya. from April to June 2023. The research method employed a Completely Randomized Design with six treatments (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 30%) repeated three times, resulting in 18 experiments. Physicochemicals data analysis used Minitab software to conduct Analysis of Variance, and Tukey Method was applied for notation determination. Organoleptic testing employed the Friedman test, while the best treatment was determined using the modified De Garmo Effective Index test by Susrini (2003). The results indicate that the addition of dried Moringa oleifera L. leaf significantly affected (p<0.05) the antioxidant activity, taste, color, aroma, and texture of the crackers. The best treatment was P1 (195 grams of dried moringa oleifera: 5 grams of dried Moringa oleifera L. leaf ) with an antioxidant activity of 91.1% Breaking power of 3.67%, moisture content of 5.98%, ash content of 3.3%,and high organoleptic values for taste 3,64%, aroma 4,32%, color 4,32%, and texture 4,08%. The addition of moringa oleifera L. leaf to crackers can enhance the nutritional value of the crackers.

The Effectiveness of The Blended Learning Method as A Learning Innovation During The Covid-19 Pandemic at Faculty Of Dentistry, Hang Tuah University Surabaya

Background: The covid-19 pandemic has an impact on many sectors include the education sector. Dental education students are not only given academic knowledge but also need to be trained for their dental practice skills. Various obstacles during covid-19 pandemic require educational institutions to make innovations to maintain the quality of graduates. One of the innovations that can be implemented is blended learning. Blended learning combines online methods for lecture substitution and face-to-face methods for clinical activities on phantoms. The indicator of success of this method is by getting pass in the National Competency Exam for Dentist (UKMP2DG). Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the blended learning method as a learning innovation during the covid 19 pandemic at the Faculty of Dentistry, Hang Tuah University Surabaya. Methods: This is an observational analytic study by comparing the percentage of UKMP2DG’s passing rates during the period before the covid 19 pandemic (2019) and during the implementation of the blended learning method (2021 and 2022). Data analysed using one-way Anova with an error of 5%. Results: The results of oneway Anova showed p value = 0.120> 0.05. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between the number of UKMP2DG passing rates from 2019, 2021 and 2022 means blended learning method can provide the same number of pass rate as other previous methods.

The Influence of Social Media (Tiktok) on Public Speaking Mastery of Students of the Communication Science Department Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru

Social media is a new trend that can provide extensive knowledge to every user. One example is the TikTok application. This application can provide various education for its users, such as mastery of public speaking. This research is experimental research using a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Where this research aims to see the influence of the TikTok application on the mastery of public speaking of 11 students majoring in Hang Tuah University, Pekanbaru, who are the subjects of this research. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 22.00 program. The instrument used is an observation sheet that refers to public speaking indicators, namely pronunciation and intonation, voice volume, fluency, relationship and accuracy of content to topic, gestures, and mimicry. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that Zscore = 4.370> 0.135 and Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) is 0.000> 0.05 so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on these statistical tests, it can be concluded that there is an influence of TikTok social media on the public speaking mastery of students at the Communication Science Department, Hang Tuah University, Pekanbaru. This is also supported by the increase that occurred in the pre-test and posttest results, which were initially 46.91 in the Fair category to 76.63 in the Good category

Pengaruh E-Service Quality dan Customer Satisfaction Terhadap Customer Loyalty pada Konsumen Grab di Fisip Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya

Customer loyalty is an important aspect for service/product provider companies because it is one of their valuable asset. There are also several aspects related to customer loyalty such as e-service quality and customer satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of e-service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty among Grab consumers at FISIP Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This research was conducted on Grab consumers at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. There are subjects taken using a purposive sampling technique totaling 65 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of hypothesis testing found a significant value of 0.000, sig <0.05, otherwise the correlation coefficient value is 40.705, which means that the t count is greater at N = 65 and a significance level of 5%, namely 2.75 (40.705 > 2.75) The result shows that the e-service quality and customer satisfaction variables have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. This means that the higher the service quality, the higher the customer loyalty. E-service quality and customer satisfaction have an effect of 55% on customer loyalty, the remaining 45% is influenced by other factors.

Development of a Shipping Higher Education Curriculum that is Responsive to the Challenges of Industry 4.0

The rapid development of technology and the emergence of Industry 4.0 have brought new challenges to the field of shipping studies. To prepare students for this challenge, it is necessary to develop a curriculum that is responsive to the changing needs of the industry. This study aims to explore the development of a higher education curriculum for maritime studies at the Vocational Shipping Studies Faculty at Hang Tuah University that is responsive to the challenges of Industry 4.0. This study uses a qualitative research design, using a review of relevant literature and documents. The objective of research is the higher education curriculum for maritime studies at the Faculty of Vocational Sailing Studies at Hang Tuah University. Data obtained through review of relevant documents from experts. The findings show that responsive curriculum development requires a thorough understanding of industry needs and expectations, as well as a commitment to continuously improve and adapt. Based on these findings, this research proposes a framework for the development of a responsive higher education curriculum for maritime studies that incorporates elements such as industry collaboration, competency-based learning, and integration of technology and digital skills. This research has important implications for institutions seeking to develop curricula that are responsive to changing industry needs, and can contribute to the development of a skilled and competent workforce in the field of shipping studies

The Correlation between Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic Learning Styles with SOOCA Examination Scores in Students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya

Learning style is one way that someone chooses to understand the material more quickly and easily. Everyone needs to identify their learning style in order to determine the most efficient learning method according to their characteristics. There are three kinds of learning styles, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Every student has a basis for this learning style, but not all of them develop proportionally, but some become dominant. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the three learning styles and sooca exam scores in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all pre-clinical students in semesters 2, 4, 6 with active student status at the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya who took the SOOCA (structure Objective Oral Examination) exam and were willing to fill out the questionnaire in the period of June to December 2022. The sample size was obtained in the time period is 86 respondents. The results showed that out of 86 respondents, 3 (3.5%) were 18 year old students, 10 (11.6%) were 19 year old students, 26 (30.2%) were 20 year old students, 39 (45.4%) ) students aged 21 years, 8 (9.3%) students aged 22 years. A total of 64 (74.4%) respondents were female, and 22 (25.6%) respondents were male. 13 (15.1%) respondents have a visual learning style, 13 (15.1%) respondents have an auditory learning style, and 60 (69.8%) respondents have a kinesthetic learning style. Conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between Visual, Auditorial, and Kinesthetic Learning Styles with Sooca Examination Scores in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. The learning styles of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya, class of 2018, 2019 and 2020, mostly have a kinesthetic learning style.

HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENYESUAIAN DIRI DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TEMAN SEBAYA DENGAN STUDENT WELL-BEING PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS VOKASI PELAYARAN UNIVERSITAS HANG TUAH

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-adjustment, peer social support and student well-being in Students of the Vocational Shipping Faculty, Hang Tuah University. The research method used is quantitative. The analysis used is Pearson Correlation and multiple correlation. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out with 3 (three) scales. Student well-being scale (α=0.967), self-adjustment scale (α=0.835) and peer social support scale (α=0.936) with 180 student respondents. The results showed that the hypothesis was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between self- adjustment and peer social support with student well-being in students of the Vocational Shipping Faculty, Hang Tuah University (sig 0.000 <0.05). There is a relationship between self-adjustment and student well-being (sig. 000 <0.05) with an effective contribution of 43.4%. There is a relationship between peer social support and student well-being (sig .000 <0.05) with an effective contribution of 42.3%.

Analisis Perilaku Konsumen Produk Fashion Local Brand Erigo dalam Memutuskan Pembelian Online melalui E-commerce Shopee

In this online and digital world, shopping can also be done online, such as at Shopee. As we already know, along with the development of technology and information, nowadays many online shops have sprung up in various groups, from teenagers to adults. The business sector currently experiencing intense competition is the fashion business sector, one of which is the local brand Erigo. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative methods using a case study approach that explains phenomena through data collection without prioritizing population size or sampling. to get depth data. The research subjects consisted of five Adm study program students. Business Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. Consumer behavior refers to the purchase decision process which consists of five stages, namely problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post- purchase behavior. Therefore, the decision making made by some students looks different. Even so, all their needs and desires to get Erigo brand products are still fulfilled by choosing shopee to make purchase transactions because transactions are more convenient, complete information, easier searching, more affordable prices, more flexible time and good consumer confidence. Meanwhile, the consumer's process of deciding to purchase Erigo products online is based on reviews, prices, ratings, as well as the existence of flash sales programs, extra free shipping and discounts. On the other hand, the trust of the informants remains loyal in buying Erigo products using Shopee involving friends and needs related to fashion.

KOMUNIKASI ANTAR PRIBADI DOSEN DAN MAHASISWA DALAM MEMOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA ILMU KOMUNIKASI UNIVERSITAS HANG TUAH PEKANBARU

Lecturers and students have a close relationship in building good learning motivation. Through learning when lectures take place is a major effort in developing the potential possessed by these students, motivation plays an important role in creating a quality learning process. This can be realized, of course, cannot be separated from the role of the lecturer who always socializes students in the educational aspect. Socialization is also carried out in the learning process including in increasing the learning motivation of these students. The stimulus and response that occurs between students and lecturers will affect the lecture objectives that have been prepared previously. This is because between motivation and results are always related to each other. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in which the results of this study explain that the communication that exists between lecturers and students in motivating learning for Communication Science students at Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru is carried out face-to-face or directly and also indirectly through WhatsApp media. Through personal communication between lecturers and students, lecturers try to provide motivation and direction for students to have high learning motivation. Messages delivered persuasively and messages conveyed by lecturers lead to the achievement of lecture objectives to be achieved by students

Implementation of community services of glaucoma counseling in Citra Medika Hospital of Sidoarjo

Background: Glaucoma is a disease attributed to damage to the optic nerve, resulting in decreased visual field and vision function. Glaucoma's main risk factor is the increment of intraocular pressure due to an imbalance of aqueous humor production and secretion. If this condition goes untreated, it will lead to retinal ganglion cell degeneration. These cells are part of the central nervous system, which has cell bodies in the retinal layer and axons in the optic nerve. These cells' degeneration causes cupping, which is the appearance of the optic disc and vision loss. Glaucoma's cause has yet to be identified, and not all factors that cause its progression have been found. Objectives: this community dedication was written to access the society knowledge about glaucoma. Methods: This project entailed counseling the community around Citra Medika Hospital, Sidoarjo. This community service was conducted by co-assistant members of the Faculty of Medicing, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. It aimed to provide participants with an understanding of glaucoma, including its types, risk factors, and preventive measures. Discussion: The participants in this community outreach were the individuals waiting for their relatives at the eye outpatient installation at Citra Medika Hospital, Sidoarjo. In total, 30% of the participants were male and 70% were female. Conclusion: This community service is expected to increase public awareness of glaucoma. As a result, they may then carry out examinations when they encounter glaucoma-related symptoms.

ENHANCING PUBLIC SERVICE THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS: A CASE STUDY OF EAZY PASSPORT SERVICE AT UNIVERSITY HANG TUAH HOSPITAL

The community service carried out by the Immigration Class I Tanjung Perak Office and the Immigration Polytechnic through the Eazy Passport Service activities at Hang Tuah University Hospital has proven a significant positive impact on the people who use it. In order to analyze the results of this collaboration, the experimental method approach is used as the basis of the research. The results identified included increasing the accessibility of passport services, efficiency of the processing process, increasing public trust in the government, empowering the community, and increasing knowledge about the requirements and procedures for obtaining passports. In addition to the direct benefits, this collaboration also creates opportunities to improve the overall quality of public services. Despite success, the challenges of implementation and ongoing evaluation must still be overcome. These findings encourage the development of similar collaborative approaches across sectors to optimize public services and meet community needs more effectively.

Nursing Student's Experience with Electronic Nursing Assessment Form: A Phenomenology Study

The transition to the digital era also occurs in the health sector. This transition requires adaptation and learning starting from school, such as using electronic medical records. This study aimed to determine the experience of nursing students at Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru using the electronic assessment format. This research uses a phenomenological study approach. Participants used the electronic nursing assessment form (ENAF) which is still being develop by the research team. This study used a consecutive sampling technique that involved 33 nursing students who did clinical practice for the basic nursing skills course. Focus group discussion (FGD) was used to collect the data, it was divided into three groups. The data were analyzed using content analysis. There were two main themes with 7 sub-themes. The themes are dimensions of ENAF and future improvement. Mostly, participants agreed to use ENAF because it was considered more efficient and economical. In addition, the data is also safer without the fear of paper damage. The display of documentation results is also clean, and easier to analyze patients’ problems. Based on participants’ experience using ENAF, there are several obstacles such as forgetting to save the results of the assessments and technical problems when using ENAF on mobile phones. All participants agreed with using ENAF because ENAF is more practical and cheaper than using a paper-based assessment form. Nursing students should be prepared with the ability to use electronic health records so they can adapt to the digital era, especially in the documentation system.

HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP TERHADAP KEPATUHAN UNTUK MELAKSANAKAN PHYSICAL DISTANCING DALAM MEMUTUS RANTAI PENYEBARAN COVID-19

COVID-19 is a severe pandemic outbreak caused by SARS CoV-2 in China on December 2019, it has spread to various countries very quickly. The preventive spread of the virus is applied to physical distancing. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the level of knowledge and attitude towards behavior to carry out physical distancing to breaking the spread of COVID-19 to 7th-semester students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. Analytic observational method with a quantitative approach to cross-sectional study design. A total of 67 samples using the simple random sampling method. The information has been collected online on November 2020 in 7th-semester students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. The Results Spearman's correlation test analysis showed that the p-value=0.604 (> 0.05) for the knowledge and behavior variables, while the p-value = 0.385 (> 0.05) for the attitude and behavior variables, so HO accepted. The correlation value is 0.064 for the knowledge and behavior variables, while the correlation value is 0.108 for the attitude and behavior variables. Both indicated “very weak” strength and positive direction of correlation. The conclusion of this study is uncorrelation between the level of knowledge and attitude towards behavior to carry out physical distancing to breaking the spread of COVID-19 to 7th-semester students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya.

Counseling STBM Program of Household Drinking Water Management at the Rumbai Pesisir Health Center - Pekanbaru City during the Covid-19 Period

STBM (Community-Based Total Sanitation) pillar 3 is the Management of Drinking Water and Household Food (PAM-RT) which is an important thing to pay attention to during the Covid-19 pandemic and also in stunting prevention. The purpose of this activity is to be able to improve the implementation of STBM for household-scale Drinking Water Management for STMB Cadres in the Rumbai Pesisir Health Center which is a target area of ​​community service activities for the second period of 2020 from a lecturer in Master of Public Health, Hang Tuah University Pekanbaru as an implementation Tri Dharma college. The method of this Community Service Activity is through socialization and triggering to 34 STBM cadres from 4 kelurahan and related parties in the Puskesmas and Kec. Rumbai Pesisir in February 2021. The results of socialization and discussions with cadres stated that generally the problem for drinking water is that they consume gallons of drinking water and also use drinking water that is cooked by themselves from PDAM and also wells whose quality has not been tested for quality standards so that they require supervision and also outreach from the health department. STBM, District and Community Health Center cadres need support from academics through community service activities to provide input and evaluation so that the program remains enthusiastic about running, especially during the Covid 19 period and also stunting prevention.

Analysis of Academic and Administration Information Systems Using Servqual and Kano Methods

Academic and Administrative Information System (SIAKAdm) is an online-based information system service for students of Hangtuah University Pekanbaru. With the development of information systems in the academic field, we must also test information systems, there are several problems that users feel that the quality of service of the Academic Information System (SIAKAdm) has not run effectively and efficiently, such as, there are often delays when filling in KRS, color contrast in the system is too disturbing to the user's eyes, there is no edit menu on the student profile, and finally there is no complaint lyanan menu or C3 servicedesk menu. This research was conducted using the ServQual method and the Kano method. The ServQual Method can be said to be a method used to measure the quality of service attributes of a dimension, while the Kano Method can be interpreted as a model built to understand how well their product or service meets the needs of users. This data collection process is by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires of 98 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data was obtained using IBM SPSS 26 and calculated the GAP value using Microsoft Excel. The results of this study The highest gap value was in the Assurance variable, with a GAP value of -4.54. While the lowest gap value is in the Responsivennes variable of -2.51.

The Effect of Workload and Autonomy on Organizational Commitment with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable in Permanent Lecturers at Hang Tuah University Surabaya

This study aims to determine the effect of workload and autonomy on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at Hang Tuah University Surabaya with 64 permanent lecturers as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert scale 1-5 questionnaire given to respondents and several supporting documents from Hang Tuah University Surabaya. In this study, the data was processed using the PLS-SEM method with WARP-PLS as the analysis tool. The results obtained indicate that the workload has no significant effect on job satisfaction; autonomy has a significant effect on job satisfaction; job satisfaction has a significant effect on organizational commitment; workload has a significant effect on organizational commitment; autonomy has a significant effect on organizational commitment

HUBUNGAN ANTARA HARDINESS DENGAN ADAPTABILITAS KARIR PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS VOKASI PELAYARAN DI UNIVERSITAS HANG TUAH SURABAYA

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hardiness and career adaptability at the Vocational School at Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to survey methods and uses product moment correlation. Data collection uses a hardiness scale of 15 items and a career adaptability scale of 24 items. The number of subjects in this study were 100 cadets at the Faculty of Vocational Shipping, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between hardiness and career adaptability at the Vocational Vocational School at Hang Tuah University, Surabaya.

HARDINESS DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN ADAPTABILITAS KARIER PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS PSIKOLOGI

The research aims to determine the existence of: (1). The relationship between career hardiness and career adaptability; (2). The relationship between social support and career adaptability; (3). The relationship between hardiness and social support with career adaptability in Psychology Faculty students, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. The research uses a quantitative approach to survey research methods. The number of subjects is 194 students. The sampling technique in this study used quota sampling. Data analysis used product moment and multiple correlation. The career adaptability scale consists of 24 items (α=0.914). Hardiness scale consists of 18 items (α=0.831). The social support scale consists of 12 items (α=0.956). The major hypothesis obtained F value sig. Change of 0.003 < 0.05. The close relationship between hardiness and social support with career adaptability is 6%. These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a positive relationship between hardiness and social support with career adaptability for students of the Psychology Faculty, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. From these results, there are several implications including being able to contribute to development institutions related to career adaptability and can be a useful reference for the development of student knowledge.
