PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN GURU RAUDHATUL ATHFAL DALAM MENCIPTAKAN SENAM KREASI MELALUI PROGRAM PELATIHAN

Gymnastics has become a routine activity carried out by teachers and children at the PAUD institution. Gymnastics activities that are attached to PAUD often lead to competitions. Gymnastics competitions for early childhood are usually creative, that is, teachers or students are directed to create gymnastic movements based on their creations. However, most teachers only imitate existing gymnastics movements without being able to create their own. Based on the results of the observations carried out in August 2023 at the location of the creative gymnastics competition for RA children in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District, 7 of RA Institutions that took part, almost all of them used existing gymnastics movements. The aim of this community service (PKM) is to improve the skills of RA teachers in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District in creating and implementing creative exercises that are interesting and beneficial for young children. The method used in PKM is service learning. The result of this PKM activity is the increase of RA teachers’ skill in creating gymnastics creations for early childhood in Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi District. This improvement in teacher skills can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest scores based on 3 indicators, namely, 1) understanding the concepts with an average pretest score of 13.08 and posttest of 35.38. 2) composing the music with an average pretest score of 1.58 and posttest of 2.58. 3) creating the gymnastic movements with an average pretest score of 1.16 and posttest of 2.84. The intention of this PKM program is inviting the RA teachers in Tegaldlimo District, Banyuwangi, to make exercise videos that are created by themselves and apply it to learning activities in their respective institutions.

The Influence of Physical Fitness, Motor Skills, and Learning Motivation on Cartwheel Skills in Physical Education

Background Problems: During the observation, many students were unable to perform cartwheel skills. This research is important so that students can pass the minimum completion criteria so that their physical education learning outcomes are not low. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the skills of cartwheel. Methods: This type of research is quantitative. The population amounted to 392 students in class XI. The technique used to obtain the sample is simple random sampling using the slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. Based on this, the sample amounted to 80 students. The physical fitness test instrument used the Indonesian Student Fitness Test, the motor ability test instrument used the Barrow Motor Ability Test, the learning motivation data was collected using a questionnaire, and the cartwheel skill data used an observation sheet which contained the criteria for implementing the cartwheel movement. Path analysis was used as a data analysis technique. Finding/Results: The results of the study consist of: 1. Physical fitness and motor skills have a significant influence on cartwheel skills. 2. Learning motivation has no significant effect directly on cartwheel skills. 3. Physical fitness indirectly through learning motivation has no significant effect on cartwheel skills. 4. Motor ability indirectly through learning motivation has no significant effect on cartwheel skills. Conclusion: Physical fitness and motor skills have a significant influence on cartwheel skills. Students need to do it outside of PJOK class hours. For Further Researchers Conduct research on other gymnastic movements.

Poesia em movimento: uma história do solo da Ginástica Artística para mulheres

In Women's Artistic Gymnastics, the floor exercise apparatus highlights beauty, expression and choreography. On this apparatus, gymnasts recite poems through movements and are able to tell stories with their bodies. However, women gymnasts faced some struggles to be incorporated in Gymnastics. In this conjuncture, the floor exercise event underwent many changes from its emergence in gymnastics for men to the incorporation of women in Artistic Gymnastics. Thus, this article seeks to gain better understand about the development of floor exercise event though historical research. We identified that the skills that make up the floor exercises today were present in Ancient Egypt and in medieval troupes. However, it was in the European gymnastic movement that the genesis of contemporary floor exercises occurred. Initially, the role of women was to be spectators of men’s Artistic Gymnastics, and their participation in Artistic Gymnastics sports universe was achieved through small steps in the XX century. Despite advances over the years, female gymnasts were limited by the femininity considered essential for life in society and by the defense that only sports with aesthetic plasticity would be more recommended for this public. However, we argued that the female gymnasts dictated the (new) direction of this sport, through creativity and incorporation of gymnastic acrobatic skills. Later, these elements became trends and have changed the ways of thinking the sport.

The Influence of the European Gymnastic Movement on Brazilian Physical Education: A Historical Analysis

This research aims to analyze the influence of the European gymnastic movement on the history of physical education in Brazil. Through a qualitative and bibliographic approach, it seeks to understand how the different European gymnastic methods (Swedish, German, and French) were introduced and adapted to the Brazilian reality, and what their impacts were on the institutionalization of physical education in the country. The analysis shows that European gymnastics played a fundamental role in the training of teachers, the creation of schools and sports associations, and the organization of events and competitions, contributing to building a sports culture and valuing the body and health in Brazilian society. However, the research also points out the challenges and tensions present in this process, such as the need to adapt gymnastic methods to the Brazilian reality and criticism regarding the rigidity and disciplinary nature of some European models.

Introduction: CrossFit® is an sport modality that involves high-impact and intense exercise, gymnastic movements and weightlifting, whose practice has achieved great popularity in recent years, despite the high prevalence of urinary or fecal incontinence (UI e FI) associated to this practice. Therefore, the objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the literature to understand the impact of CrossFit® on pelvic floor dysfunction compared to other exercise modalities. Material and method: Following PRISMA (Preferred Reported Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) guidelines, a search was conducted in scientific databases. A total of 7 studies out of the 53 obtained were qualitatively evaluated and selected for the systematic review. Results: Stress UI seemed to be greater in female CrossFit® participants, than in female kickboxing, bootcamp, aerobic exercise and no CrossFit® practitioners, and also in comparison to sedentary women (P<0.05). Running was suggested to produced higher FI than CrossFit® (P<0.001), while no differences were observed in intra-abdominal pressure and pelvic floor contraction capacity through pelvic examination between female CrossFit® participants and women who practice light exercise, nonCrossFit® practitioners and sedentary women (P<0.05). Conclusion: CrossFit® practice appears to favor IU in a greater extent than other exercise modalities but not FI which seem to be more prevalent with running practice, although differences between exercise modalities were not observed through direct examination of pelvic floor contraction. Further studies are needed to clarify these findings, defining more accurately the assessment instruments, influencing factors and control groups.

Gymnastics Assistance for the Independent Elderly: Service in Efforts to Prevent Dementia in Bulak Village, Surabaya

Degenerative diseases are infections that almost occur in old age, with decreased physiological function will have an impact on several chronic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoarthritis, Alzheimer's, heart disease, kidney failure, therefore, to prevent the occurrence of these diseases it is necessary to strive for promotive, preventive, and rehabilitative measures. One of the efforts made is to carry out community service in the form of assisting the elderly so that they can live independently and have a good quality of life. Community service for Departemen of health Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya which was carried out at RW 2 Bulak Village in the form of counseling, health checks, nutrition fulfillment education and elderly gymnastics. The results of counseling education about degenerative diseases and their prevention have shown a 90% good level of understanding, and the elderly have high enthusiasm to participate in gymnastics movements and do health tests. Furthermore, the continuation of this activity is expected to be followed up by improving effective communication between puskesmas officers, elderly cadres so that the elderly program can run optimally

In Europe, in the second half of the XIX century, the first children's and youth movements were created. Their goal was the physical and moral development of young people. Moral values were instilled through Christian education. The Russian Empire was no exception, and since 1909, the scout and "potesnnie" movements began their activities in it, paying much attention to the Orthodox upbringing of their wards. In emigration, religious education became even more important. In the conditions of a foreign environment, the threat of assimilation and acculturation of Russian children increased. It was planned to resist this with a great emphasis on the study of national culture, including its religious component. Since it was not possible to cover all children in Russian schools in the scattering, more flexible children's and youth organizations became more important. In those colonies where churches existed, they participated in divine services, helped in holding Christian holidays, invited priests to classes and camps. In the richest and most numerous diasporas, such as the Parisian one, field churches in summer camps have become popular. In addition, classes on the Law of God were held in children's associations and exams were passed on knowledge of the basics of Orthodox culture, which made it possible to reach children living in remote regions. There were several main organizations that worked with children: scouts (NORS, ORYUR, NORR, ORPR), the gymnastics movement "Sokol", the national organization "Vityazi" under the Russian Student Christian Movement. All of them paid a lot of attention to religious education, although the "vityazi" were the most active in this regard. A certain indicator of the success of such work can be the fact that many children who passed through such associations later became priests and bishops.

Efektivitas Gerakan Senam Dasar dalam Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Belajar Anak

Learning concentration is the ability to concentrate on the learning process, very important for students because it supports good understanding and memory. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of basic gymnastics in improving children's learning concentration. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review to collect, evaluate, and synthesize data from various sources about the research subject. Articles published on Google Scholar are the source of data for these research articles. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data submission, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are that this physical activity can stimulate blood flow to the brain, improve cognitive function, and reduce stress and anxiety. Through basic gymnastics movements, children can learn to be more focused, disciplined, and organized in completing school assignments. Basic gymnastics also helps children develop social and emotional skills, such as cooperation and self-control, which are very useful in a learning environment. Routinely doing basic gymnastics provides an energy boost that can help children cope with boredom, allowing them to stay awake and focused during study sessions. Thus, basic gymnastics is an effective and enjoyable method to improve the learning concentration of elementary school students, providing long-term benefits for cognitive and physical development

3D Convolutional Neural Networks based Movement Evaluation System for Gymnasts in Computer Vision Applications

This study introduces an innovative Movement Evaluation System, which utilizes state of art 3D CNNs in grassland of computer vision. This system presents a significant advancement in analyzing and assessing complex gymnastic movements, providing a comprehensive understanding of both spatial and temporal dynamics. By incorporating pose estimation algorithms, it accurately identifies body joints and positions to extract detailed spatial features. The 3D CNN further captures the temporal evolution of these features, enabling a precise analysis of the fluidity, rhythm, and synchronization of gymnastic movements over time. The effectiveness of this system is evaluated through performance metrics such as precision, recall, and accuracy. Aimed at enhancing sports science and athlete training, this research offers coaches, judges, and gymnasts a sophisticated tool for objective and standardized movement assessments. It has the potential to streamline the evaluation process in gymnastics and provide constructive feedback efficiently. The integration of 3D CNNs in this system marks a paradigm shift in utilizing advanced computer vision techniques to improve the understanding and refinement of gymnastic performances.

Gymnastics and USSR Sports Policy in 1918—1941

The aim of this study is to present and discuss the formation and development of one of the popular sports in the Soviet Union in the 1920s-1930s, namely, artistic gymnastics, which includes competitions on various gymnastic apparatuses as well as in free exercises and balance jumps. The authors trace the historical path of this sport within the context of the Soviet government’s policy on organizing the Soviet physical culture movement. The study examines the activities of public gymnastics organizations and the issues surrounding their closure. Special attention is given to the challenges faced by the development of artistic gymnastics during this period, including the state of the material and technical base, organization of systematic training sessions, and the availability of qualified coaching staff. The research materials demonstrate that the development of this sport took place under difficult conditions, from restrictions in the 1920s to a mass gymnastics movement in the 1930s. Based on documentary sources and central periodicals, the authors reconstruct the methods and forms of the formation and development of Soviet artistic gymnastics as a mass sport. It is argued that systematic competitions for the USSR championship stimulated the growth of gymnasts’ sporting and technical achievements

Gymnastic Sports Management Training for Physical Education Teachers in East Jakarta City

In the gymnastics sports event (O2SN), students will have greater opportunities to take part in the event. For this reason, the competence of physical education teachers must be improved through training and knowledge about teaching basic gymnastic movements. However, physical education teachers in East Jakarta lack gymnastics management training, but do not understand sports coaching techniques and management. The service methods used in this activity are training, seminars and workshops. This service was carried out for approximately 2 months with the following stages: 1) conducting training, 2) monitoring, 3) evaluating and achieving. Participants involved in the service program are 35 physical education teachers in the East Jakarta region. Program implementation involves the implementation of a previously designed sports curriculum. This includes organizing the lesson schedule, selecting teaching methods appropriate to the type of sport, as well as managing groups of participants. Factors such as safety, health, and ethics must also be considered in implementing physical education programs. Supervision and monitoring are carried out to ensure that the sports program runs according to plan. Community service with the topic "Gymnastics Development Management" is an important initiative to increase the knowledge and skills of physical education teachers in the field of gymnastics. However, the implementation of this program can be faced with several inhibiting factors which include limited resources, lack of knowledge and skills, low motivation, safety, and differences in ability levels.

Роль Н. А. Султан-Крым-Гирея в развитии Сокольского движения в Российской империи

The activities of Russian and Crimean state and public figure N. A. Sultan-Krym-Girei in the development of the Sokols’ sports and gymnastics movement in Russia at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries have been studied. It was established that N. A. Sultan-Krym-Girei’s development as a specialist in gymnastics took place during his education and military service in the Lithuanian Life Guards Regiment, where he served as the head of the gymnastics team. In his civil service in the Taurida Governorate, Nikolai Alexandrovich was a trustee of Feodosia gymnasiums and actively participated in improving education, strengthening the health, and physical fitness of students in Crimean educational institutions. He was one of the first initiators of introducing hygiene education in Russian schools. During his Caucasian period, N. A. Sultan-Krym-Girei was directly involved in the creation and leadership of the first Sokols’ gymnastics society in the Russian Empire. As a senator, he played an active role in the creation and activities of the Sokols’ gymnastics societies in St. Petersburg and the unified governing body of the Sokols’ movement in Russia, the “Union of Russian Sokols,” and led them. He facilitated the Union of Russian Sokols’ affiliation with the “Union of Slavic Sokols.” Through his many years of work in developing the sports and gymnastics movement, N. A. Sultan-Krym-Girei made a significant contribution to the emergence, formation, and spread of Sokols’ gymnastics in Russia, not only as a means of physical and moral education but also as a social movement aimed at consolidating the entire Russian society.

Modifikasi Senam Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) untuk Siswa/i Tunagrahita pada SLB C-YPSLB Surakarta

Children who are different from other kids their age or from kids in general are known as children with special needs, or ABK. The process of growth and development, which entails deviations or abnormalities on all fronts—physically, cognitively, intellectually, and socially—is one way in which these disparities appear. The findings of an investigation at SLB C-YPSLB Surakarta revealed issues with intellectual impairment and mobility disorders. When it comes to the quality of physical activity for children with mental retardation who require specialized instruction and supervision, motor development is a crucial factor. The fulfillment of physical needs is also impaired, namely sensorimotor skills, body balance, the ability to recognize the environment, body coordination and mobility, and body flexibility. Gymnastics for Children with Special Needs (ABK) was chosen as a solution to improve their motor skills. The chosen method is doing gymnastic movements together and guided by physiotherapy. Gymnastics has important benefits for health, child development now and in the future. Other benefits include strengthening children's muscles, bones and heart, as well as improving children's coordination, balance, posture and flexibility to achieve a better quality of life.

CEGAH OSTEOPOROSIS MELALUI PELATIHAN SENAM LANSIA DAN CERAMAH KESEHATAN DI DESA TANJUNG GUSTA

Osteoporosis is a systemic bone disorder, which is characterized by damage to the micro-architecture of bone tissue, which occurs as a result of an imbalance in the bone remodeling process. Various actions that can be taken to prevent osteoporosis one of which is to increase physical activity such as exercise. Exercise can stimulate bone growth and maintain bone mass. The series of activities carried out were training in elderly gymnastics at the beginning of the event, then followed by providing counseling about Osteoporosis using the health lecture method. The purpose of this activity was to provide education about osteoporosis and to train elderly gymnastic movements as a step to prevent osteoporosis. This activity was attended by 30 participants in Dusun II Timur, Tanjung Gusta Village, all of whom were female. The results of this activity showed that as many as 22 people (73.3%) participants showed an increase in test results, and the results of the paired t test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results with a p value <0.05, meaning that this activity was effective in terms of increasing knowledge about Osteoporosis in all participants

Development of an Android-based Floor Gymnastic Application as an Alternative Teaching Material for PJOK Mix Learning at SD Negeri 113 Kota Jambi

This study aims to produce a product in the form of an android-based floor exercise application learning at SD Negeri 113 Jambi City. The background of the problem in this study is that some students at school are still not able to do good and correct basic gymnastic movements because some students still do not understand the correct steps of movement so that they experience obstacles in learning. This floor exercise application has been developed accurately, incorporating the latest movements, techniques, and practical, easy-to-use rules in learning. This research was conducted at Public Elementary School 113 with research subjects namely students of SD N 113 Jambi City. The research method used is the ADDIE model development research. The steps of this research start from analysis, design, development, implementation to evaluation. The results of the analysis of the research data show that the percentage score of the product trials carried out is 80% to 90% in the good category so that it can be concluded that this android-based floor gymnastics application product is suitable for use by students and teachers, especially sports.

Senam Seribu Learning with Audio Visual Media

In this study, it began with the findings in the field of learning rhythmic gymnastics where it was found that students had less mastery of movements, lack of completeness of movements with rhythm, and students did not memorize the movements of the thousand gymnastics. The application of audio-visual media can help students memorize the thousand gymnastics movements, the suitability of the movements with the rhythm of the music, the teacher is less creative in utilizing the available facilities and infrastructure, students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning. The aim of the researcher is to determine the application of audio-visual media to improve the learning of a thousand gymnastics “new Indonesian fun gymnastics”. The research method used by researchers is literature study, with designs ranging from collecting sources, analysis and conclusions. The results of this study are in the form of predictions about the improvement of learning exercise in a senam seribu.

Making Gymnastics Catholic: The Life, Death, and Resurrection of the Croatian Orao in Interwar Yugoslavia

Abstract This article focuses on the Croatian Orao, a gymnastic organization that became hegemonic among the Croatian Catholic population of interwar Yugoslavia. The first section examines the genesis of the Croatian Orao within the changing Catholic landscape of Croatia, Yugoslavia, and Europe more broadly, with particular emphasis on Orao’s relationships with Orel – a gymnastic movement very similar to Orao that was popular among Slovenes – and the Holy See, as well as Orao’s role in conflicts in the Croatian Catholic sphere. Part 2 will situate the Croatian Orao in the complex ecosystem of youth and gymnastic organizations present in the first Yugoslav state, especially with respect to the different Sokol organizations. Focusing on the actual sport activities practiced in Orao, the aim is to tackle the specific place of gymnastics in the associational culture of the Croatian Orao. The third and final part will explore the dismantling of Orao’s associational network by the state in 1929, and the association’s reorganization in other, more radical guises in 1930.

Personality Traits vs. Sports Classes of Polish Representatives in Junior Sports Acrobatics.

The aim of this paper was to determine the influence of adolescence, training discipline, and training regime on the personality formation of adolescent sports acrobats. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to study the relationship between the personality traits and the sports classes of Polish junior sports acrobatics representatives. The respondents (N = 90) were juniors aged 18-19 and were divided into three samples: (1) n = 30 Polish representatives in sports acrobatics with a first or master sports class; (2) n = 30 kata athletes from Kyokushin karate and Shotokan karate as a reference sample from another sports discipline with gymnastic movement expression; (3) n = 30 high school students as a reference sample of non-athletic persons. The Big Five model was used, and the NEO-FFI personality questionnaire was used as a research tool. For the analyses of basic descriptive statistics, the Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney test were performed to determine statistical significance (α = 0.05). It was noted that all athletes (the first and second samples) had personality traits at the same levels: low neuroticism, high extraversion, moderate openness to experience and agreeableness, and high conscientiousness in relation to non-athletes. In contrast, there were differences among the subjects in personality traits, except for agreeableness. Among the sports acrobats, master-class athletes showed lower neuroticism, greater openness to experience, lower agreeableness, and greater conscientiousness in relation to first-class athletes. It was found that there were differences between the personality traits and sports classes of junior sports acrobatics representatives in Poland in the four Big Five dimensions. But in general, sports acrobats and karate athletes had personality traits at similar levels, and at the same time, different from non-training people.
