Group decision-making algorithm with sine trigonometric r,s,t-spherical fuzzy aggregation operators and their application

r, s, t-spherical fuzzy (r, s, t-SPF) sets provide a robust framework for managing uncertainties in decision-making, surpassing other fuzzy sets in their ability to accommodate diverse uncertainties through the incorporation of flexible parameters r, s, and t. Considering these characteristics, this article explores sine trigonometric laws to enhance the applicability and theoretical foundation for r, s, t-SPF setting. Following these laws, several aggregation operators (AOs) are designed for aggregation of the r, s, t-SPF data. Meanwhile, the desired characteristics and relationships of these operators are studied under sine trigonometric functions. Furthermore, we build a group decision-making algorithm for addressing multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problems using the developed AOs. To exemplify the applicability of the proposed algorithm, we address a practical example regarding laptop selection. Finally, parameter analysis and a comprehensive comparison with existing operators are conducted to uncover the superiority and validity of the presented AOs.

The application of cosine similarity measures with Laplacian energy to q-rung orthopair fuzzy graphs in decision-making problems

Q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFS), which are better than the intuitionistic and Pythagorean fuzzy sets, are a significant tool for expressing ambiguous information. Their key feature is that their ability to represent a larger space of uncertain information is based on the fact that the product of the qth power of the membership degree and the qth power of the degrees of non-membership is equal to or less than 1. Under these circumstances, we train group decision-making problems in the study using q-rung orthopair fuzzy inclination associations. Through the calculation of the standard deviation of one separable q-rung orthopair inclination association to the others and the unclear evidence of q-rung orthopair fuzzy inclination connections, we propose a novel approach to estimate the qualified reputation weights of authority. The “internal” and “impartial” evidence of authority is taken into consideration by this new mindset. Subsequently, we included the weights of authorities into the q-rung orthopair fuzzy inclination relations and used a relative similarity approach to determine the relevance of replacements and the best substitutes. The planned techniques' usefulness and realism are demonstrated by the contrast analysis with additional methods through mathematical demonstrations, both of which show the fuzzy set’s membership degree and non-membership degree, respectively.

A VIKOR Method Based on the Relative Closeness on Interval Linguistic Neutrosophic Uncertain Linguistic Numbers

In actual multi-attribute group decision-making problems, due to the complexity and uncertainty of objective things and the ambiguity of human thinking, decision-makers find it hard to give accurate evaluation information by crisp numbers. Even the weights of attribute values and decision-makers are ambiguous. At this time, we are more inclined to adopt the intuitive form of linguistic variables such as "excellent", "good" or "bad" to describe attribute values and weights. So in this paper, based on a neutrosophic set (NS), we further propose interval linguistic neutrosophic uncertain linguistic number (ILNULN). ILNULN combines interval linguistic neutrosophic and uncertain linguistic numbers, and it has the advantages of both. At the same time, due to the weighted arithmetic Bonferroni mean operator considering the interrelationship between aggregation parameters, therefore we combine the ILNULN and weighted arithmetic Bonferroni mean operator to propose the interval linguistic neutrosophic uncertain linguistic weighted arithmetic Bonferroni mean (ILNULWABM) operator. Finally, under the environment of interval linguistic neutrosophic and uncertain linguistic numbers, this article uses the linguistic weights and ILNULWABM operator to make VIKOR decision based on the relative closeness, and gives a practical example.

A large-scale multi-attribute group decision-making method with R-numbers and its application to hydrogen fuel cell logistics path selection

AbstractThe large-scale multi-attribute group decision-making (LSMAGDM) problem has become a hot research topic in the field of decision science. An R-numbers large-scale multi-attribute group decision-making (R-LSMAGDM) model is proposed to be constructed in this paper based on the advantages of R-numbers in capturing risks. First, the most commonly used clustering method, k-means, is introduced to determine the sub-groups. Then, a new sub-group weighting determination model is constructed by considering sub-group size and sub-group entropy. Next, we also build an optimized consensus-reaching model by improving the calculation method of the mean value. Then, the R-numbers weighted Hamy mean (RNWHM) operator is proposed to aggregate the sub-group information. In addition, the logarithmic percentage change-driven objective weighting (LOPCOW) method and the compromise ranking of alternatives from distance to ideal solution (CRADIS) method are used for attribute weighting calculation and alternative ranking, respectively. Finally, the effectiveness of the model is verified by an application example of hydrogen fuel cell logistics path selection.

Evidential-Reasoning-Type Multi-Attribute Large Group Decision-Making Method Based on Public Satisfaction

To address public participation-oriented, large group decision-making problems with uncertain attribute weights, we propose a multi-attribute decision-making method considering public satisfaction. Firstly, a large group is organized to provide their opinions in the form of linguistic variables. Public opinions can be categorized into two types based on their content: one reflects the effectiveness of an alternative implementation and the other reflects the public expectations. Secondly, the two types of public opinions are sorted separately by linguistic variables. The evaluation of alternatives and the evaluation of expectations in different attributes are determined, both of which are expressed in the form of linguistic distributions. These two evaluations are then compared to determine the public satisfaction of the attributes in different alternatives. Thirdly, based on the deviation of public satisfaction in different attributes, a weight optimization model is constructed to determine the attribute weights. Fourthly, leveraging the interval credibility of attribute satisfaction for various alternatives, an evidential reasoning non-linear optimization model is established to obtain the comprehensive utility evaluation value for each alternative, which is used for ranking. Finally, a numerical example is employed to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach. According to the results of the numerical example, it can be concluded that the proposed approach can be effectively applied to large group decision-making problems that consider public satisfaction. Based on the comparison of methods, the proposed approach has certain advantages in reflecting public opinions and setting reference points, which can ensure the reliability of the decision results.

Improved q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy WASPAS Method Based on Softmax Function and Frank operations for Investment Decision of Community Group-Buying Platform

The traditional WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product ASsessment) method has attracted widely attention. Unfortunately, the decision-makers’ decision attitude or risk preference is ignored in the existing WASPAS methods. To overcome this shortcoming, this paper embedded expert’s decision attitude with risk preference into WASPAS method for solving multi-attribute group decision-making problems with q-rung orthopair fuzzy (q-ROF) information. We develop the q-ROF Frank softmax weighted averaging (q-ROFFSWA) and q-ROF Frank softmax weighted geometric (q-ROFFSWG) operators based on Frank operations and softmax function. The relevant properties and particular cases are explored, and the monotonicity of these operators’ score functions is analyzed. Then, the q-ROF multi-attribute group decision-making framework based on the improved WASPAS method is constructed. The weighted sum model and weighted product model in traditional WASPAS are replaced by the two proposed aggregation operators. The q-ROF distance measure is utilized to de fuzzy the performance values of alternatives. And a compromise function between optimistic and pessimistic decision attitudes with risk preferences is proposed. Lastly, the presented method is implemented in a real case of investment decision of community group-buying (CGB) platform, and sensitivity analysis and comparative study with existing methods are conducted to verify the practicality, robustness and effectiveness.

Combinative distance-based assessment method using linguistic T-spherical fuzzy aggregation operators and its application to multi-attribute group decision-making

Clean energy has become a hot topic worldwide because of the continuous rise in the climate's temperature. Reduced air pollution is only one of the many economic and environmental advantages of clean energy. An effective contractor with experience and knowledge in clean energy projects is always required to handle the complicated process of planning, implementing, and maintaining the new clean energy infrastructure. Contractor selection for renewable energy projects (REPs) is a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. Linguistic T-spherical fuzzy set (LT-SFS) can be compatible with fuzzier information, and the contractor selection problem also has a lot of fuzzy information, which makes LT-SFS very suitable for contractor selection for REPs. Hence, the present work proposes a MAGDM methodology utilizing a combinative distance-based assessment (CODAS) method within the LT-SF context. For that, the Einstein and Frank t-norm and t-conorm has been used to define new and generalized operational laws for linguistic T-spherical fuzzy numbers. Then, the linguistic T-spherical fuzzy Einstein and linguistic T-spherical fuzzy Frank aggregation operators are proposed to integrate the information data provided by experts. Moreover, the proposed aggregation operators based-CODAS approach is designed to evaluate and rank the available alternatives. A real-life decision problem of selecting the best suitable contractor for a renewable energy project is solved to verify our suggested technique. Moreover, the sensitivity analysis is also carried out by changing the parameter's value to check the consistency of the rank order. Finally, the new model is compared with existing approaches to demonstrate its strength. The comparative analysis shows that the results of the suggested technique are more feasible and beneficial than those of existing approaches.

Multi-dimensional multi-round minimum cost consensus models with iterative mechanisms involving reward and punishment measures

In order to address the issues of unfairness in consensus and subjectivity bias in data, while further expanding the traditional minimum cost consensus model (MCCM) in terms of opinion dimension and consensus round, we propose the multi-dimensional MCCM (MD-MCCM) and multi-round MCCM (MR-MCCM). Subsequently, we introduce the concepts and definitions pertaining to these two variants of consensus and formulate their respective consensus model frameworks. To benefit from the advantages of both, we integrate these two types of consensus models, thereby introducing the concept of multi-dimensional multi-round minimum cost consensus. To address the issues of unfairness and subjectivity in the consensus-reaching process, we propose two specific reward and punishment measures and devise the multi-dimensional multi-round consensus iterative mechanisms. These mechanisms facilitate an iterative update of decision-makers’ opinions, weights, and unit costs within the feedback process. Based on this foundation, we construct the multi-dimensional multi-round MCCM (MDMR-MCCM) involving Euclidean and Manhattan distance measures, and their corresponding algorithm and consensus reaching process are presented. Finally, a group decision problem concerning site selection validates the rationality and effectiveness of our models. Moreover, a comparative analysis of results obtained using different models is provided.

Extended EDAS Analysis for Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Based on Distributed Generation (DG) Technologies System

Recently, there has been a growing interest in distributed generation (DG) technologies, driven by various factors such as fuel price uncertainties, environmental constraints, and increasing power consumption along with transmission capacity shortages, in modern power systems. DG, which involves utilizing clean and renewable energy sources for power generation within the distribution system, has gained significant attention globally. Many developing countries, including Libya, are considering the adoption of DG technologies as part of their energy system expansion plans. Libya, located in North Africa and characterized by vast desert lands, has abundant solar radiation, making solar energy a promising and sustainable source of power. However, despite this energy potential, the southern part of Libya faces frequent power outages. In order to effectively maintain service quality, it is essential to conduct quantitative evaluation of wireless sensor networks. the evaluation of wireless sensor networks involves addressing the multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. To tackle the challenges of MAGDM, an extension of the classical EDAS (Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution) method is proposed in this paper. The proposed method incorporates interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs), which provide a more flexible and comprehensive representation of uncertainty, to handle the complexities of MAGDM. The paper begins with a brief review of essential concepts related to IVIFSs. Then, the weights of attributes are determined using the CRITIC method. Subsequently, the IVIF-EDAS method is established by integrating the EDAS method with IVIFSs, and all the calculation procedures are described.

A novel LqROPF-Entropy-WASPAS group model based on Frank aggregation operators and improved score function in linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy framework

Decision analysis plays a crucial role in our everyday actions. Efficient decision-making models rely heavily on accurately representing human cognitive knowledge. The linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (LqROPFSs) offer a versatile means of representing qualitative cognitive information by adapting the parameter q to different scenarios. This study presents a novel scoring function to rank linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (LqROPFNs) with greater precision compared to the current score function. Next, we present novel arithmetic/geometric aggregation operators (AOs) that utilize new Frank operational rules to combine a finite collection of LqROPFNs. The work also examines the several desirable characteristics and special cases of the provided AOs. Furthermore, a novel decision-making model called the LqROPF-Entropy-WASPAS model has been introduced to address the challenges of multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problems in a linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment. The model incorporates proposed AOs and a scoring function. The suggested methodology is exemplified by considering a practical decision to select an online teaching platform. The validity of the results is confirmed through an extensive sensitivity analysis and comparative investigation employing various existing MAGDM approaches within the linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy framework. The proposed approach offers enhanced flexibility to decision experts, empowering them to analyze decision outcomes across diverse scenarios. This flexibility is achieved by allowing the manipulation of values associated with various parameters, enabling decision-makers to tailor the analysis according to their specific attitudes and requirements. This adaptability ensures a more advanced and personalized analysis of decision outcomes, accommodating decision experts’ distinct viewpoints and preferences in varying situations.

Consistency and consensus checking and improving methods for group decision-making with hesitant fuzzy preference relations

Decision-makers (DMs) are often hesitant about the evaluations owing to objective or subjective reasons, and determined preference relations always have various limitations on the way that DMs express their evaluations. To address this, this study investigates the group decision-making (GDM) process with hesitant fuzzy preference relations (HFPRs), and develops the methods of consistency and consensus checking and improving processes. To do this, the definitions of best consistency index (BCI) and worst consistency index (WCI) are given. On account of this, the concept of acceptable additive consistent HFPR is proposed. Moreover, the methods of consistency and consensus measurement and improvement processes are introduced for GDM with HFPRs, which can automatically obtain effective and scientific consistency and consensus results. Furthermore, a priority method for HFPRs is employed to rank the alternatives. The procedure of the GDM problem with HFPRs is introduced in detail, and an example of selecting a potential supplier for a solar company is used to demonstrate the proposed method. Comparative analyses shows that the proposed method is more powerful for dealing with the hesitant and uncertain situations and greatly expands the information description scope.

Double-layer multi-criteria group decision-making approach using neutralized possibility degree-based decision matrix with fuzzy information

Multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems are fundamentally characterized by uncertainty and ambiguity. The quantification of such data is vital for determining the most optimal course of action. In this paper, a double-layer possibility degree-based interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (IVq-ROFSs) Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija i Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) approach is presented. First, the possibility degrees of IVq-ROFSs are calculated and processed to establish a new neutralized decision matrix. Second, the components of the new decision matrix are taken into account for obtaining a new pair of positive and negative ideal solutions. The utility and regret measures in the VIKOR approach are ultimately determined by combining criteria weights and cumulative possibility degrees to rank the alternatives. The results of the study show that the proposed approach contributes to acquiring accurate alternative rankings in situations where traditional approaches have had difficulty generating ranks. Also, by eliminating the early normalization stage, which has a direct impact on the final ranking, the proposed approach concludes a unique ranking for each decision-making problem. Several comparative and sensitivity analysis are also conducted to exhibit robustness and applicability of the proposed approach in real world.

A MAGDM approach for evaluating the impact of artificial intelligence on education using 2-tuple linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets and Schweizer-Sklar weighted power average operator.

The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in education can be viewed as a multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem, in which several stakeholders evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of AI applications in educational settings according to distinct preferences and criteria. A MAGDM framework can assist in providing transparent and logical recommendations for implementing AI in education by methodically analyzing the trade-offs and conflicts among many components, including ethical, social, pedagogical, and technical concerns. A novel development in fuzzy set theory is the 2-tuple linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (2TLq-ROFS), which is not only a generalized form but also can integrate decision-makers quantitative evaluation ideas and qualitative evaluation information. The 2TLq-ROF Schweizer-Sklar weighted power average operator (2TLq-ROFSSWPA) and the 2TLq-ROF Schweizer-Sklar weighted power geometric (2TLq-ROFSSWPG) operator are two of the aggregation operators we create in this article. We also investigate some of the unique instances and features of the proposed operators. Next, a new Entropy model is built based on 2TLq-ROFS, which may exploit the preferences of the decision-makers to obtain the ideal objective weights for attributes. Next, we extend the VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) technique to the 2TLq-ROF version, which provides decision-makers with a greater space to represent their decisions, while also accounting for the uncertainty inherent in human cognition. Finally, a case study of how artificial intelligence has impacted education is given to show the applicability and value of the established methodology. A comparative study is carried out to examine the benefits and improvements of the developed approach.

Group decision on rationalizing disease analysis using novel distance measure on Pythagorean fuzziness

Despite the fact that several technologies have been developed to assist healthcare workers in reducing errors and improving accuracy in illness diagnosis, there is still substantial ambiguity regarding the accurate disease diagnosis based on symptoms. The goal of this work is to establish a group decision-making problem in an uncertain situation to assist medical practitioners in generating accurate illness predictions based on symptoms. This study proposes a novel distance measure for Pythagorean fuzzy sets that incorporates the inherent uncertainty of complex, uncertain data by incorporating indeterminacy in the computation. First, we establish the proposed Mabala distance measure by describing it’s properties. Then, the suggested distance measure is applied to solve group decision-making problems in uncertain situations. A case study of disease analysis based on symptoms is presented to illustrate the decision-making procedure involving four medical professionals, five symptoms, and five probable diseases. Furthermore, We have presented two cases of disease analysis using non-standard and standard Pythagorean fuzzy soft matrices. The results suggest that the proposed Mabala’s distance measure has great potential for improving disease analysis. The proposed Mabala distance measure is compared to five existing distance measures using an identical data set of prospective disease symptoms. The comparative analysis indicates that the suggested Mabala distance measure’s result almost coincides with the results of the other distance measurements. A set of sensitivity analysis is provided to analyze the durability and consistency of the proposed distance measurements across different input scenarios.

Influence measure-based large-scale group decision making with linear uncertain preference relations

This research focuses on the problem of large-scale group decision-making (LSGDM) based on influence measure under linear uncertain preferences. The value of this research is that it improves the performance of the current clustering algorithms, increases the efficiency of consensus reaching for major decision-making events, thus reducing the cost of feedback adjustments, and at the same time reflecting the risk attitude of the decision-makers (DMs) during situations of uncertainty. First, an approach for measuring the influence of the DMs is presented. Based on the influence measure, a clustering method is proposed to classify the experts into subgroups. Then, a method for determining the weights of the subgroups is developed by combining the influence and credibility of the subgroup leader as well as the intra-subgroup consensus level. Subsequently, a feedback adjustment method is provided to reduce the disagreement among the DMs by considering the unit adjustment cost and the corresponding adjustment willingness of the DMs. Further, based on the trust risk and credibility of the DMs, a dual management mechanism of non-cooperative behavior is established to hasten consensus. Finally, a case study is presented to demonstrate the practicality of the suggested approach, while simulation experiments and comparative analysis are conducted to verify the model.

Interaction and risk preference-based group decision-making with intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations

This research proposes a new method to solve group decision-making(GDM) problems with intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations(IFPRs). First, a new definition of multiplicative consistency of IFPR is presented to address the defects of the existing consistency definitions. Then, two programming models are established to obtain the most optimistic and pessimistic consistent IFPRs and corresponding intuitionistic fuzzy priority weights. Also, in order to improve the accuracy of aggregate information, a new method to determine the weights of decision-makers(DMs) is offered by considering the interaction among DMs. Subsequently, by combining the vagueness and non-vagueness of the aggregated information, a multiplicative consistency definition of the collective IFPR is provided. Moreover, to simplify the GDM process, a programming model for solving the priority weight is established, which effectively avoids the consistency test and correction of IFPRs. Finally, the values of the proposed method are illustrated by comparative analysis.

TODIM-PROMETHEE method for tourism landscape planning design scheme evaluation based on the virtual reality technology under spherical fuzzy sets

How to explore the potential value of landscape, realize the organic combination of tourism landscape, enrich landscape elements and enhance tourism experience has become an important topic of tourism landscape planning and design, which is also a practical problem that needs to be solved urgently in the process of tourism landscape development and planning in different regions of China. The tourism landscape planning design scheme evaluation based on the virtual reality technology a typical multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. With the complexity of economic activities, uncertain information has an increasing impact on production activities. However, due to the ambiguity and uncertainty of human cognition, the factors affecting the risk of things cannot be accurately expressed. Therefore, selecting spherical fuzzy sets (SFSs) can make the expression of information more accurate and complete. On basis of the TODIM method and the PROMETHEE method, in this study, spherical fuzzy number TOMIM-PROMETHEE (SFN-TOMIM-PROMETHEE) method is implemented to solve the MAGDM problem under SFSs. Furthermore, CRITIC method under SFSs is implemented to determine relative weights. Then a numerical example for tourism landscape planning design scheme evaluation based on the virtual reality technology is selected to illustrate the effectiveness and practicality of the method. Finally, the comparative analysis shows that the SFN-TOMIM-PROMETHEE method under SFSs is an effective method to deal with MAGDM problems. The main contribution of this paper is managed: (1) the TODIM and PROMETHEE technique was extended to SFSs; (2) CRITIC technique is employed to manage the weight values under SFSs. (3) the SFN-TOMIM-PROMETHEE technique is founded to manage the MAGDM under IVPFSs; (4) a numerical example for tourism landscape planning design scheme evaluation based on the virtual reality technology and comparison analysis are constructed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the SFN-TOMIM-PROMETHEE technique.

A graph neural approach for group recommendation system based on pairwise preferences

Pairwise preference information, which involves users expressing their preferences by comparing items, plays a crucial role in decision-making and has recently found application in recommendation systems. In this study, we introduce GcPp, a clustering algorithm that leverages pairwise preference data to generate recommendations for user groups. Initially, we construct individual graphs for each user based on their pairwise preferences and utilize a graph convolutional network to predict similarities between all pairs of graphs. These predicted similarity scores form the foundation of our research. We then construct a new graph where users are nodes and the edges are weighted according to the predicted similarities. Finally, we perform clustering on the graph’s nodes (users). By evaluating various metrics, we found that employing a similarity metric based on a convolutional neural network (SimGNN) with our proposed ground truth called Top-K yielded the highest accuracy. The proposed approach is specifically designed for group recommendation systems and holds significant potential for group decision-making problems. Decision algorithm for picture fuzzy sets and Aczel Alsina aggregation operators based on unknown degree of wights

Aggregation operators (AOs) are well-known and efficient mathematical tools that are utilized to overcome the impact of imprecise and vague information during the aggregation process. The theoretical concepts of Aczel Alsina aggregation expressions are an extension of triangular norms and become a hot research topic in the environment of the fuzzy framework. The power operators provide a smooth approximation and are used to mitigate the influence of redundant or insufficient information on the attributes or criteria. Some robust aggregation approaches are developed by combining two different theories, like power operators and Aczel Alsina aggregation tools. This article aims to explore the theory of picture fuzzy sets (PFSs), an extended version of fuzzy sets, and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Some robust operations of Aczel Alsina aggregation tools are also present in light of the picture fuzzy environment. We established a class of new methodologies in the light of picture fuzzy information, including picture fuzzy Aczel Alsina power weighted average (PFAAPWA) and picture fuzzy Aczel Alsina power ordered weighted average (PFAAPOWA) operators. We also developed an appropriate approach like picture fuzzy Aczel Alsina power weighted geometric (PFAAPWG) and picture fuzzy Aczel Alsina power ordered weighted geometric (PFAAPOWG) operators. Notable properties and characteristics of proposed methodologies are also demonstrated. Our invented approaches not only aggregate complicated information but can clearly define interrelationships among several arguments. Moreover, we establish an algorithm for the multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem to handle the impact of redundant and vague information on human opinions. Finally, we study an experimental case study to evaluate an appropriate optimal option from available options. To reveal consistency and effectiveness of developed approaches, influence study by changing various parametric values and comparative study by comparing results of existing approaches.

Decision analysis with IDOCRIW-QUALIFLEX approach in the 2TLq-ROF environment: An application of accident prediction models in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the assessment of road safety measures within road safety management systems is commonly seen as the most deficient part. Accident prediction models are essential for road authorities, road designers, and road safety specialists. These models facilitate the examination of safety concerns, the identification of safety improvements, and the projection of the potential impact of these modifications in terms of collision reduction. In the context described above, the goal of this paper is to utilize the 2-tuple linguistic q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (2TLq-ROFS), a new and useful decision tool with a strong ability to address uncertain or imprecise information in practical decision-making processes. In addition, for dealing with the multi-attribute group decision-making problems in road safety management, this paper proposes a new 2TLq-ROF integrated determination of objective criteria weights (IDOCRIW)-the qualitative flexible multiple criteria (QUALIFLEX) decision analysis method with a weighted power average (WPA) operator based on the 2TLq-ROF numbers. The IDOCRIW method is used to calculate the weight of attributes and the QUALIFLEX method is used to rank the options. To show the viability and superiority of the proposed approach, we also perform a case study on the evaluation of accident prediction models in road safety management. Finally, the results of the experiments and comparisons with existing methods are used to explain the benefits and superiority of the suggested approach. The findings of this study show that the proposed approach is more practical and compatible with other existing approaches.
