The COVID19 pandemic has accelerated the process of adopting digital assessment strategies. The problem is that teachers apply digital assessment without taking into account the impact of assessment on educational purposes. This paper presents the results of the online questionnaire “Social perception of teachers in the post-COVID period19”, completed by 228 respondents. The results indicate that: a) teachers use various utilities to create digital tests prioritizing Google Form; b) assessment includes diagnostic, formative and summative activities; c) digital assessment is more interesting, motivating and objective if it is sensitive to psycho-pedagogical features and cultural aspects of the social group. However, most teachers consider assessment to be a method of measuring learning outcomes; emphasizing the importance of interactive and group assessment tasks, but also that the responsibility for the quality of learning lies with the teacher. We conclude on the importance of initiating a program of in-service teacher training in psycho-pedagogical literacy of the feasibility of digital assessment in the diversity of learning environments.
