Understanding the factors that influence communication about COVID-19 vaccines with patients: Perspectives of Australian immunisation providers

BackgroundCOVID-19 immunisation providers have been at the forefront of the pandemic, and their ability to communicate effectively with patients is key to encouraging COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and uptake. This study explored providers’ perspectives on the factors influencing communication with patients about COVID-19 vaccines. MethodsWe used an explanatory-sequential mixed-methods approach to conduct the study between December 2021 and March 2022. Phase I involved a cross-sectional survey with immunisation providers in New South Wales (n = 341; 189 general practitioners, 118 nurses and 34 pharmacists), followed by Phase II: semi-structured, in-depth qualitative interviews (n = 19; 10 nurses, 9 pharmacists). We generated descriptive results for the survey. We analysed the qualitative data thematically using an inductive approach. ResultsAlmost half of survey participants reported communicating often with people who were hesitant about COVID-19 vaccines (49 %; 166/341), however, 21 % (71/341) reported inadequate time to address concerns during consultations. Interview participants reported communication challenges, including time constraints, difficulties addressing and elicitingpatient concerns, and keeping up to date with changing information. Conversely, interview participants reported that easy access to government information resources, time to learn about COVID-19 vaccines proactively, knowing about and being able to use tailored strategies to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD patients were helpful when communicating with patients. ConclusionsImmunisation providers play an important role in patient vaccine acceptance and uptake. Our findings indicate that whilst providers were largely confident in their interactions with patients, further communication support would strengthen providers’ skills in communicating with patients who have questions and concerns about COVID-19 vaccines.

The Construction of Big Data Computational Intelligence System for E-Government in Cloud Computing Environment and Its Development Impact.

The traditional E-government big data system fills and classifies algorithms with low accuracy and poor work efficiency. With the development and wide application of big data, the internet of things, and other technologies, the integration of information resources has become the key to information construction. In the process of information resource integration, there are still outstanding problems such as incomplete government information resource system, different standards of government information resource management system construction, and serious threats to network and information security. In order to solve this problem, a new E-government big data system filling and classification algorithm is studied in the cloud computing environment; E-government big data filling is carried out on the basis of complete compatibility theory; and the E-government big data computing intelligence system in the cloud computing environment is constructed and its development impact, so as to parallelize the data, classify the data through decision trees, and realize incremental update decision forest parallelization processing. To verify the effectiveness of the method, comparative experiments are set, and the results demonstrate that experiment one is randomly built into the classification model, and according to the decision forest algorithm, the optimal number of decision trees is 24.

Modeling the process of searching for operationally significant information from open state information resources

Objective. The purpose of the study is to increase the effectiveness of measures to identify, investigate and disclose offenses and crimes based on the analysis of Internet resources in order to identify and structure information suitable for intellectual analysis; identify relationships between data categories, develop a model for obtaining operationally significant information from open government information resources. Method. The study is based on the use of statistical analysis to describe the general structure of information about an individual posted in official state information resources. A categorized list of relevant web resources containing operationally significant information about a person or subject of a crime is compiled on the basis of expert assessments of law enforcement officers. To determine the relationships between data categories, a graphical-analytical method for studying information flows was used, and a graph model for obtaining operationally significant information from open state information resources was built. Result. The results of the analysis of Internet resources in order to identify information suitable for intellectual analysis are presented, their structuring is carried out, relationships between data categories are identified, and a model for obtaining operationally significant information from open state information resources is developed. Conclusion. The conducted system analysis of the state information resources of the Internet made it possible to identify the relationship between the categories of data and use them to obtain operationally significant information from open state information resources. In practice, the constructed model can be used to optimize fuzzy search. To solve this problem, it seems possible to use Kohonen neural networks or Hamming algorithms. The apparatus of neural networks will allow you to determine patterns and optimize the search for operationally significant information.

Using the Internet of Things E-Government Platform to Optimize the Administrative Management Mode

This paper builds an intelligent E-Government platform based on the Internet of Things. It adopts a three-layer architecture model, including the government collection layer, the government network layer, and the government application layer. By making full use of data technology and information technology, government services can be realized in real-time perception, efficient operation, scientific decision-making, active service, and intelligent supervision and can be open and collaborative, so as to provide the public with better quality and more efficient and more responsive government services. In addition, this paper has realized optimization in the aspects of government service mode, Internet of Things application mode, and database structure. Through the use of big data technology, the government service information will be digitized and integrated, and through the data sharing and exchange platform, the government information resources will be intercommunicated and shared across departments, levels, and regions. The application mode has been upgraded. Compared with the traditional E-Government, the government has made a qualitative leap in the degree of automation of control, the intelligence of service and decision, the remote support ability, and the space-time scope that government can control. The distributed management mode of the SQL Server is adopted to realize the exchange of requested data and process the data content, which can greatly improve the working efficiency of the system. Finally, through testing, the government affairs management system has good stability; there is no congestion and delay when multiple users access the system, so the response speed and efficiency of the system basically meet the requirements.

Research on Computer Intelligent Electronic Information Sharing Platform System

With the rapid development of e-government construction, the total amount of government information resources has increased rapidly, and the quality requirements have been continuously improved, initially forming an open and shared environment for information resources. The information sharing and exchange platform is designed to solve the above problems. It aims to build a flexible, safe and reliable transmission system and provide a unified technical support environment for various applications. The information exchange and sharing platform is a basic platform facility for each application system, and the application system can exchange and share data with other application systems through the information exchange and sharing platform. Due to the lack of uniform data standards, specifications and formats, the comprehensive utilization level of information resources is limited. In order to build a computer intelligent e-government information resource sharing platform, this paper explores the establishment of an architecture for the organization, exchange and utilization of e-government information resources from a technical point of view, based on the existing research on the sharing methods and modes of government information resources sharing.

An Ontology for Chinese Government Archives Knowledge Representation and Reasoning

Government archives comprise a series of documents or important information resources produced or used by government departments to meet the needs of economic and social governance, fulfill government functions, and perform official activities. They have inestimable value in economic development, social operations, and strategy. However, due to the lack of effective application of knowledge management technology, government information resources are locked in archive records, making it difficult to achieve knowledge organization and interoperability. Based on the theories and methods of the semantic web and semantic ontology construction, we summarize the relevant domain knowledge of government archives and construct the Chinese Government Archive Ontology (GAO) with the collection of government archives as the data. The ontology model implements the semantic interoperability between government archives and performs knowledge representation and reasoning on their content. We define the classes and properties of GAO, describe its creation process in detail, and demonstrate its applicability in practice through SPARQL query and event logical representation based on the 5W1H framework. GAO is capable of realizing linked data and discovering the knowledge hidden behind the policies of various agencies and departments, which can serve scientific decision-making and the economic society, regulate institutional powers, and further promote the research and practice of archival science in the digital age.

An ontology automation construction scheme for Chinese e‐government thesaurus optimizing

AbstractTo optimize the term hierarchy in the manual e‐government thesaurus, we combine the mainstream knowledge organization technology to form a complete set of ontology automation construction scheme. We build an e‐government knowledge base by using subject words in the Comprehensive E‐government Thesaurus as the term set and encyclopedia text as the corpus. The specific work includes the extraction of semantic features from the bag‐of‐words model, determination of the number of clusters by linear and nonlinear dimensionality reduction, division of terms by spectral clustering, social network analysis to determine the class label, and storing knowledge ontology via OWL. The recall rate of term hierarchy in the ontology is excellent, indicating the ontology has good knowledge extensibility, and also proving the efficiency of the scheme proposed in this work. Besides, the application model of a term hierarchy in information retrieval can show a richer semantic relation than the original thesaurus to guide the retrieval extension of government information resources.

After Microlog

This article explores the history and development of Microlog, a key subscription-based source of Canadian municipal, provincial, territorial, and federal government publications from 1979 to 2018. Microlog was distributed as microfiche and accompanied by a printed and later online index. Microlog’s impact is discussed, alongside the recent termination of the product in 2018 and the implications of this change for long-term access to government information in Canada. A discussion of a selection of alternative continuing sources of Canadian government information follows, offering these tools not as direct successors to Microlog, but as important components of the remaining landscape of Canadian government information resources. The decentralization of government information collection and preservation efforts in Canada is discussed, in particular highlighting the lack of a clear successor resource to replace Microlog in the wake of its disappearance.

Research on the application of block chain big data platform in the construction of new smart city for low carbon emission and green environment

The sharing of government information resources is significant for improving the level of governance and social information. However, due to the existence of cross-domain security and trust islands, government departments are hindering the sharing of government information resources with other organizations and the public. To this end, the blockchain technology is used to construct a decentralized distributed peer-to-peer trust service system, which is integrated with the existing PKI/CA security system to establish a new trust model that supports multi-CA coexistence. Based on this, the structural composition and functional data flow of the blockchain smart city information resource sharing and exchange model designed in this paper. This paper launched a study on the role of the smart big data platform, and selected the development of smart cities in Hefei as an empirical analysis. From the connotation of smart city, block chain and big data technology combined, and the positive effects of relevant information technology summarized on the construction of smart city big data platform. Based on this, the smart city development level evaluation model of TOPSIS method constructed. The evaluation model constructed to make a vertical comparison from 2012 to 2017, the scale of smart cities is growing at an average annual rate of more than 30%, saving 20% of urban resource allocation and becoming a new pillar industry. Therefore, Hefei City should further increase environmental supervision and promote the use of low-carbon environmental protection new energy. The improvement of government management level has a positive effect on the construction of smart Hefei.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: Research on smart city service system based on adaptive algorithm

The information resources of various departments are limited, resulting in duplication of information systems and extensive redundancy of hardware and software resources. In order to change the above status, catalogue management service system for smart city is introduced. In addition, the structural level of government information resources is analyzed. Cloud platform, information recommendation, string similarity matching and other technologies are used to connect and share the system information of the departmental government. In this case, the catalogue information resources are used wisely. The LPvA-Index index structure is given based on the existing Gram–Trie tree. LPvA-Index adaptively selects the appropriate length of the Prefix filter, resulting in fewer inverted tables. In addition, filters are used during reads, thus reducing the number of candidate sets and increasing the query efficiency of strings. At the same time, the length segmentation and location segmentation methods are applied to the Gram–Trie tree. Finally, the test platform is built. The efficiency of the LPvA-Index index structure and the existing LPA-Index index structure under certain conditions is tested and compared.

Research on the Strategy of Information Resource Sharing between Governments in the Perspective of Game Theory

In order to improve the operational efficiency, the government can realize the streamlining policy through the mode of government information resource sharing. By building government information resources sharing, the government breaks the inter-departmental data island. The government realizes the development direction and trend of “Internet government”. This paper also takes the information resource sharing as the game process between the government management department and the information resource sharing body, and analyzes the policy and suggestion of the information resource sharing in the perspective of game theory by constructing the sharing model of the government information resource in the perspective of game theory.

Under the big data environment, this paper proposes the system building pattern and effective service strategy of storing government information into university libraries. The local government information can be better co-built and shared by establishing the guarantee institution for government information storage at university library and effectively integrating the government information resources, and providing diversified services of local government information to the public.

American Libraries and the US Federal Government: an overview of partnerships for enhanced resource access

Purpose – This paper aims to explore the US Government Publishing Office’s (GPO) partnership program: what it is, how the GPO defines partnership, the types of institutions that are participating and the resources these institutions are making available through partnership. Design/methodology/approach – This paper reviews the available literature and information from the US GPO on its partnership program, examines the institutions contributing to the program and what those contributions entail, surveys the resources made available through these partnerships and examines how this affects access to government information. Findings – Partnership with the US GPO provides benefits to libraries, museums, government agencies and other entities, increasing discoverability and enhancing access to digital collections of government information and other resources. Originality/value – This paper examines the parameters of the US GPO’s partnership program, why libraries and other institutions might wish to partner with the GPO and the effect these partnerships have had on enhancing access to government information resources, an area that has not been extensively covered in library literature.

Smart technology classroom in the stacks: promoting free government apps in an academic library

Purpose – This purpose of this article is to suggest that it is possible and desirable to use iPads as a teaching tool in a dedicated classroom in the stacks at an academic library. It examines recent research on smart device use among college students and outlines a pilot program that was developed at Southern Oregon University in the Government Information Department. Design/methodology/approach – The article includes a literature review of recent research that has been done about smart technology usage in the library and highlights information gained by a hands-on approach in a pilot program. Findings – The use of smart technology in a classroom in the stacks is an effective way to engage students in the research process. Using free government apps is a no cost solution to covering a variety of topics and disciplines. Students can gain new insights in how to make their smart technology work for them while conducting research. A supplemental iPad check-out program can enable students to have new meaningful interactions with the library. However, technology does present its own set of problems that can derail the experience in unexpected ways. Originality/value – Free government apps are useful learning tools for college students. These tools can be applied in any classroom where students and professor are equipped with smart devices. The classroom described is unique in that it combines the hard copy materials of the library and the use of the technology to immerse students in a total experience of searching for specific government information resources in the stacks area where the physical documents are housed.

Construction method of cyber attacks classifier on government information resources

Dynamics of successful realizations of cyber attacks, the object of which are public information resources, demonstrates the need to improve their security. One problem that hinders the implementation of effective information security systems, such as attack detection systems, is their inability to provide reliable and timely event pattern classification of information and telecommunication systems. In research materials it is proposed an approach that enhances the efficiency of attack detection systems for government information resources by the speed criteria for the given parameters of classification accuracy. This is achieved through the introduction of CBA two-step classification scheme, based on binary grouping patterns of the system behavior. The developed construction method of cyber attacks classifier, based on decision trees and optimized flow of incoming data, can reduce the construction and operation of classification models at times and provides the performance of classification accuracy of system behavior patterns.

The Application of Cloud Computing in the E-Government Data Management

With the thorough development and utilization of electronic government information resources, some phenomena are presented, such as: a large amount of data and data concentration, insufficient sharing of information resources and unsafe data exchange and so on. The construction and operation of traditional e-government data management can't meet those needs. Cloud computing is mainly aimed at intensive work load of mass data. It can allocate resources dynamically and adjust the load. This paper mainly deals with how to use cloud computing model to reduce the cost and risk of information sharing in e-government data management, so as to improve the operational efficiency of e-government data management.

Constructing sports e-government platform is an important content that all levels sports departments carry out sports optimal allocation of resources, expand the development and use of sports information resources and to improve the level of development of sports undertakings.
