Development of an E-Module Based on 3D Pageflip Professional on the Concept of Vibration and Wave

This e-module based on 3D Pageflip Professional can support and facilitate students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the quality of the E-module based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The method used is Research and Development (R & D) with a 4D model. This research was conducted in class VIII, namely Class VIII.1 and Class VIII.2, at SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Jaya. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, tests, and data analysis using descriptive analysis. The research results show that the validity determined through media expert validation reached 3.69 and material expert 3.77, obtaining valid criteria. The practicality is determined through learning implementation, reaching 90% with very good criteria, and student response reaching 87% with good criteria. The effectiveness is determined through student activity, reaching 89% with good criteria and student learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.8 with high N-Gain criteria. Based on the research results, the E-module based on 3D Pageflip Professional is suitable for use and meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria.

The Measurement of Job Stress Levels on Study Concentration in Students Who Study While Working (Case Study: Gunadarma University Postgraduate Students)

The concentration of studies is very important to support students in understanding the theory and understanding the concepts during learning activities so this needs to be noted so that students can achieve good learning outcomes. Studying while working will certainly cause serious problems to the process of activities on campus and at work. Problems that often occur are piling up tasks, difficulty managing time, fatigue, disputes between colleagues and superiors, a toxic work environment, limited rest time, being expelled from university, and experiencing a delay in graduation. These can trigger job stress for students because they have to do two activities in their daily lives. This study aims to find out the effect of job stress levels on study concentration in working students. In addition, this study analyzes the factors that influence job stress and study concentration. The method used is quantitative analysis with a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis of data carried out was a Chi-Square test and t-test. Based on the results shows that students who study while working have a very high level of job stress which causes a decrease in learning concentration in students. In addition, several factors influence job stress and study concentration, namely gender, age, type of work, and length of work duration. This research contributes to providing an overview and consideration to students about students who study while working.

To address the causes of wasting time that have or do not have an impact on students' academic achievement, this study was conducted utilizing quantitative research methods, alongside a variety of research methods, such as document research, an exploratory survey of 307 students, an official survey with 6,670 statistically valid student’s responses, interviews, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), scale reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. Consequently, all of the 11 causes of wasting time that belong to the two categories of objective and subjective causes are at the influential level. Whether in the group of objective or subjective causes, reasons related to the use of technology are the leading cause of wasting students' time. In addition, the study also found that there is a significant difference between student's academic results, with the main trend of students with fair academic performance having more wasted time when compared to groups of students with good and excellent grades. Therefore, to have good learning results, students need to study and practice time management skills to increase the efficiency of time use and avoid time-consuming factors.

Application of Digital Find Me Pair Evaluation on Student Learning Outcomes of Class V Social Sciences Learning Cultural Diversity Material Elementary School

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in social studies learning. So the learning outcomes of class V students are low and can be said to be insufficient (KKM). By implementing the Find Me Pair digital evaluation. The aim of this research is to describe the application of digital find me pair evaluation on the learning outcomes of students learning social sciences material on cultural diversity in class V elementary schools. This research includes descriptive quantitative research. Data collection in this research consisted of 30 students in the VA class at SDN Sedatigede II. The data collection method used is observation using an assessment tool in the form of an observation sheet and a test using an assessment tool in the form of a test sheet. The results of this research show that student activities and educator activities in implementing digital evaluation are in the very good category and student learning outcomes are in the very good category

EVALUATION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION LEARNING PROGRAM BY USING COUNTENANCE EVALUATION MODEL

This study aims to determine: (1) the quality of preparation, (2) the quality of implementation, and (three) the impact of students' learning on the implementation of PAI clump learning at MTs Arifah Gowa. This research is an assessment model used is Countenance Stake. The source of data in this study is the PAI clump subject teacher of MTs Arifah Gowa as many as 9 people. The research methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used means Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The results showed that (1) the quality of learning planning for PAI subjects in the independent curriculum is categorized as good, (2) the application process and learning evaluation are categorized as good and (3) student learning outcomes in PAI subjects are categorized as good.

Implementasi Metode Demonstrasi dalam Membantu Pemahaman Kitab Sullamut Taufiq Santriwati Mukim di Pondok Pesantren Putri 1 Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep Madura

The demonstration method is a learning method using teaching aids or direct practice to clarify an understanding of learning to students. Al Amien Prenduan Girls' Islamic Boarding School 1 is one of the Islamic boarding schools that applies learning using the demonstration method through the book Sullamut Taufiq in certain chapters. In this method, the researcher found that the female students at the Al-Amien Prenduan Girls' Islamic Boarding School 1 had applied the demonstration method. so that most of the female students living at the Al-Amien Prenduan Girls' Islamic Boarding School 1 better understand learning when using the demonstration method. Therefore, researchers are interested in finding out more about the implementation of the demonstration method to improve understanding of the book Sullamut Taufiq in certain chapters. This research focuses on: 1) how to implement the demonstration method in increasing understanding of the book Sullamut Taufiq at the Al-Amien Prenduan Girls' Islamic Boarding School 1. 2). What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for using the demonstration method in increasing understanding of the book Sullamut Taufiq at the Al-amien Prenduan 1st Girls' Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative fieldwork with a case study type, data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this research were caregivers, teachers, consultants and students at the Islamic Boarding School for Girls 1 Al-Amen Prenduan. The results of the research show that the implementation of the demonstration method in increasing understanding of the book Sullamut Taufiq at the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school focuses on the application of the method in learning. because, in order to improve good learning outcomes, first improve good and effective understanding by using appropriate learning methods. Such as using the demonstration method in understanding the book Sullamut Taufiq. Although there are problems faced by teachers, such as a lack of student enthusiasm and not all material can be demonstrated.

Tutees' Bullying Experiences in Employment of Pair Tutoring: A View from Grade Two Pupils

Bullies can victimize others in a multitude of ways. While some are hidden and private, others are obvious and public. Bullying in schools frequently takes place in unstructured learning environments. Direct bullying combines verbal and physical abuse. Verbal bullying occurs when a pupil is the target of remarks made aloud or information written that harms their feelings. This exploratory research study was to identify the experiences of bullying by tutees.The research sample comprised fifteen tutees at the Division of Misamis Oriental at the Tagoloan Central School, Philippines. Using the qualitative approach with an exploratory research design, the fifteen grade two tutees who experienced bullying inside the classroom during pair tutoring sessions were considered participants through purposively sampled selection. There was the utilization of in-depth interviews in the data gathering. The study adhered to ethical principles during the conduct. It strictly followed the components of trustworthiness: credibility, dependability, transferability, and conformability to review the validity of the qualitative data. The study revealed that during pair tutoring, tutees experienced verbal bullying- the tutor to the tutee as the tutor constantly uses mean remarks, such as You are dull. Relationship bullying to the tutee as the tutor becomes bossy and short-tempered by letting tutees learn quickly. Physical bullying to the tutee as the tutor eventually hits the tutee if the tutee cannot learn quickly. Along with the insights, the study emphasized that teachers must closely monitor by observing tutor behavior and words they utter during pair torturing sessions and select and train tutors; training should cover tutor roles and responsibilities so that bullying will not occur during pair tutoring sessions and bullying is an issue in education that needs to be solved to ensure pupils good learning outcomes by a safe learning environment. Bullying affects children's academic achievement because it makes them afraid to stand out and pursue their learning desires. Every teacher should work to stop bullying in the classroom by integrating anti-bullying policies and discipline into classroom discipline.

Curriculum evaluation design based on task-based teaching

The task driven teaching model combined with traditional teaching methods can stimulate students' learning initiative and achieve better learning outcomes.Task based teaching design mainly includes task construction, task implementation, and task evaluation. This includes individual and group tasks of different difficulty levels.Task evaluation is a crucial process, and a reasonable evaluation mechanism can promote students to actively participate, timely understand their learning status, adjust their learning status, form good learning habits, and achieve good learning outcomes. In the driven teaching evaluation system, students themselves, teachers, and classmates form multiple evaluation subjects to make comprehensive and objective evaluations.

Analisis Hasil Karya Seni Rupa Dua Dimensi Dengan Pemanfaatan Botol Bekas Sebagai Media Cetak Tinggi

The purpose of this research is to learn how students use used bottles as high print media to create two-dimensional works of art. Another objective is to find out whether the motifs produced from high prints using used bottles match the motifs on the base of the used bottles and to find out whether the prints match the motifs on the base of the used bottles. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sample of 30 works. The research instrument used an observation sheet on the results of printing practice with used bottles on paper. The analysis technique uses descriptive techniques which are then classified into quantitative data groups. The data obtained will be observed on the results of printed works with predetermined benchmarks and tabulated in tabular form. After being observed, it can be concluded from the results of students' work creating two-dimensional works of art with the utilization of used bottles as high print media with good learning outcomes.

Development of Presentation Media for Learning Moral Creeds in Improving Student Learning Outcomes

This study discusses the use of presentation media in teaching Aqidah Akhlak in improving student learning outcomes. The method applied is the RnD (Research and Development) research method which uses experimental research with a quantitative approach. This series of research was then carried out with the development of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) research which involved one class group, namely Class XI students at MA Al Qasimiyah Madello, Barru Regency. The ADDIE development pattern is implemented in detail, including through analyzing learning materials, designing the presentation of the material to make it interesting, developing the material by paying attention to student needs, implementing it effectively in the classroom, and then carrying out in-depth analysis of student learning outcomes after the entire series of research has been carried out.This research suggests that the use of presentation media in learning Aqidah Akhlak through the development of ADDIE is able to provide good learning outcomes for students. This is evidenced by the increase in scores which increased significantly from the pre-test stage to the post-test stage. The learning results at the pre-test stage found 15 students with very low scores, 1 person in the low category, and 2 people in the medium category. Which means that no one whose score is above the KKM standard is declared incomplete. This condition changed significantly at the post-test stage so that as many as 17 students were in the high category and there was even 1 person whose learning results were in the very high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the combination of ADDIE development with the application of presentation media is very effective in improving student learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak learning so that it can become an innovation in Islamic Religious Education learning to make it more enjoyable.

The group learning discussion method is one of the strategies to influence the motivation of students' interest in learning to be high. The existence of high interest in learning makes students study diligently and responsibly, which in the end is manifested in measurable and good student learning outcomes. This study aims to find out an overview of the factors that affect the learning motivation of students of the Civil Engineering, Informatics, and Electrical Engineering Study Program of Sumbawa University of Technology in the Islamic Religious Education Course. The type of research used is quantitative; descriptive with primary data types. Purposive sampling technique. Then the data collection technique in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation study guidelines. Data analysis using data collection; data reduction; data presentation; and conclusions and verification. Based on these results, it is recommended to lecturers in religious education courses to strengthen the factors that motivate students during the educational process in an effort to increase the success of the students themselves

Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) sebagai Sumber Belajar Berdiferensiasi untuk Matematika SMP

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a form of implementation of the independent curriculum that aims to provide students with a more meaningful learning experience and process. P5 activities also apply the concept of differentiated learning, which emphasizes adapting to students' learning interests and readiness to obtain good learning results. Data in the field shows the lack of availability of the P5 module developed at SMPN 1 Pujut which is used as a guide for teachers and students in carrying out P5 activities. This research aims to create an E-Module based on the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project as a Differentiated Learning Resource for Middle School Mathematics that is suitable for use. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using Plomp design research, including (1) preliminary research, (2) development or prototyping phase, and (3) assessment phase. The results of this research indicate that the P5 e-module is classified in the very valid category with content validity criteria of 90.28%, and construct validity of 90.97%. Therefore, the availability of interactive P5 modules helps teachers provide innovative ideas and references for creating similar or even better modules.

ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI SISWA KELAS X SMA DI KOTA PADANG TENTANG MATERI HUKUM NEWTON DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TES DIAGNOSTIK FOUR-TIER MULTIPLE CHOICE

The importance of students' understanding of concepts is to enhance the learning process and achieve good learning outcomes. However, what often happens is that students struggle to understand the material, make mistakes in applying concepts, and even become frustrated or lose interest in certain subjects. This research aims to describe students' misconceptions through a four-tier multiple-choice diagnostic test on Newton's laws. This study is a qualitative descriptive research using a four-tier multiple-choice test instrument. The research sample includes three public high schools in the city of Padang in the academic year 2023/2024. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with 25% of the total number of students in each school participating in the study, totaling 80 students. Based on the analysis, the highest level of understanding of concepts experienced by students is in the subtopic of Newton's Third Law, with an average percentage of 57.3%. Meanwhile, the highest misconceptions experienced by students are in the subtopics of the applications of Newton's Laws I, II, III, with average percentages of 84.6%, 76.3%, and 85%, respectively. Additionally, the highest lack of understanding of concepts is in the subtopic of forces on inclined planes, with a percentage of 40%. Therefore, it can be concluded that in Newton's laws, there are more misconceptions experienced by students.

Analysis of The Application of Giving Rewards to Improving Social Science Learning Outcomes For Elementary School Students

Education remains linked to human life, using experiences that provide understanding and insight to develop. Giving rewards is one of the educational tools used to improve student learning outcomes in class. The goal of the reward system is to make students more attentive and focused during lessons. Good intentions towards IPAS can encourage students to study in order to obtain good learning results. It is hoped that giving rewards can be used as a strategy to improve student learning outcomes in science courses. This research uses literature study or field work as an investigative method. The data used in this research comes from the results of analysis of several articles, journals, books and articles related to research variables. In addition, this research uses a descriptive-analytic approach to examine the relationship between the learning outcomes of science and science students in basic education and the award system through a review of previous research publications. According to this research, a consistent reward system can improve student learning outcomes in science and technology subjects in elementary schools.

What factors influence scientific concept learning? A study based on the fuzzy‐set qualitative comparative analysis

AbstractThis research employs the fuzzy‐set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method to investigate the configurations of multiple factors influencing scientific concept learning, including augmented reality (AR) technology, the concept map (CM) strategy and individual differences (eg, prior knowledge, experience and attitudes). A quasi‐experiment was conducted with 194 seventh‐grade students divided into four groups: AR and CM (N = 52), AR and non‐CM (N = 51), non‐AR and CM (N = 40), non‐AR and non‐CM (N = 51). These students participated in a science lesson on ‘The structure of peach blossom’. This study represents students' science learning outcomes by measuring their academic performance and cognitive load. The fsQCA results reveal that: (1) factors influencing students' academic performance and cognitive load are interdependent, and a single factor cannot constitute a necessary condition for learning outcomes; (2) multiple pathways can lead to the same learning outcome, challenging the notion of a singular best path derived from traditional analysis methods; (3) the configurations of good and poor learning outcomes exhibit asymmetry. For example, high prior knowledge exists in both configurations leading to good and poor learning outcomes, depending on how other conditions are combined. Practitioner notesWhat is already known about this topic Augmented reality proves to be a useful technological tool for improving science learning. The concept map can guide students to describe the relationships between concepts and make a connection between new knowledge and existing knowledge structures. Individual differences have been emphasized as essential external factors in controlling the effectiveness of learning. What this paper adds This study innovatively employed the fsQCA analysis method to reveal the complex phenomenon of the scientific concept learning process at a fine‐grained level. This study discussed how individual differences interact with AR and concept map strategy to influence scientific concept learning. Implications for practice and/or policy No single factor present or absent is necessary for learning outcomes, but the combinations of AR and concept map strategy always obtain satisfactory learning outcomes. There are multiple pathways to achieving good learning outcomes rather than a single optimal solution. The implementation of educational interventions should fully consider students' individual differences, such as prior knowledge, experience and attitudes.

Study on the Ideological and Political Smart Teaching Model for Higher Vocational English Curriculum Based on the Production-Oriented Approach

With the comprehensive promotion of ideological and political education in college curricula, the reform of ideological and political education in higher vocational English curricula has also been fully implemented. To explore the integration of ideological and political education with English teaching based on the production-oriented approach (POA) theory, the paper proposes an innovative smart teaching model of integrated learning and application based on language context under the theory of ideological and political education in the curriculum, guiding students to engage in production-oriented language learning and achieving good learning outcomes. Based on this, the paper analyzes and studies the ideological and political smart teaching model of vocational English courses based on POA, and takes the comprehensive English course in Chongzuo Preschool Education College as an example to explore in depth for reference.

Formative Assessment in Kurikulum Merdeka for Ornamental Drawing Lessons in Secondary School

This study aims to identify the form of formative assessment instruments used by teachers and to understand the implementation of formative assessment within Kurikulum Merdeka in ornamental drawing lessons at the secondary school level. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with activity analysis methods. Primary and secondary data were obtained through interviews and observations. The sample in this study consists of eight cultural arts teachers from secondary schools. The results indicate that the application of formative assessment in learning leads to students achieving good learning outcomes because teachers can identify students' strengths and weaknesses, thus facilitating the improvement of the learning process and focusing on indicators such as the process of cultural arts (decorative patterns) learning in class, the form of formative assessment instruments, the implementation of formative assessment, and examining the strengths and weaknesses of formative assessment implementation. Furthermore, the implementation of formative assessment has been well-executed in the learning process, as observed directly by the researchers during the learning activities and the teachers' evaluation methods. Formative assessment in ornamental drawing lessons at the secondary school level applies three assessment instruments within one sub-chapter or material, including knowledge, attitude, and skill assessments. Teachers conduct formative assessments for each sub-material, and the evaluations cover the three aspects in every session.

Less to produce and less to consume: the advantage of pure question-based learning

ABSTRACT This study is the first to investigate how an online course consisting solely of multiple-choice questions and detailed formative feedback compares to an online course format that was previously shown to be highly effective. Specifically, a pure question-based learning (pQBL) version of a course was compared to a question-based learning course (QBL) which consisted of the same questions and feedback as the pQBL course, but also included ordinary texts about the subject. To explore how pQBL and QBL compared in terms of learning outcomes and completion time, 492 employees at the Swedish Employment Agency were randomized to either a pQBL or a QBL version of a course about IT security. The results indicate that the pQBL course resulted in equally good or better learning outcomes compared to the QBL course. This result was robust to changes in how course quality was defined. In addition, participants completed the pQBL course slightly faster. Because a pQBL course requires less resources to produce, there are benefits to relying on the pQBL method when teachers or students have limited time. Further benefits that come with the flexibility of the pQBL method are discussed.
